The other logs say it all really. Except that unfortunately the log book was soaked. Mrs Sobad had trouble getting onto the cache (Sobad has stronger wrists) but the water hasn't. TNLN TFTC

found this one with no trouble. always good idea to have a look around these sites. never know what you might find . Thanks Bitsprayer
This cache was recommended to me at a recent event, so I kind of knew what to expect. Perhaps that made it less spooky also, even though I did it at first light. Cache container lid is broken, so I'm not positive things will stay dry for very long. The person at the event gave me the history behind this sort of object, which made the cache even more fun to do. TFTC.
Found by McAdies on our holiday around the South Island.
This was a freaky relic! Would love any history on what it is and why it is there!

Would love to know the story behind the metal jacket. Fascinating place. Having a lazy day geocahcing prior to the one day Coast to Coast tomorrow
After braving the wasp nest near the entrance we got a real shock to see Jacko. Bit of a freaky relic! Great place for a cache though. TFTC
Despite the torrential rain I am really pleased I did this one as I have never seen anything like this before, absolutely amazing object and a really interesting place
Many thanks

I'd read the previous finder's log, and knew to take a detour rather than walk straight past the bees/wasps nest. Log is dripping wet and slimy unfortunately. One of many wet log books in this area. TFTC
This is a cool cache indeed.. An old cemetry, with an old iron gate, that makes the typical creaking squeal noise, on rusty hinges. An ominous sound for such a location. Once we past the gate, we noticed quite an active, native beehive in a massive old Macrocarpa. As we walked past, one of the bees decided he didn't think we should be here and attacked. Fortunately, it didn't find any exposed skin on us, to inject its venom into. We nervously continued towards the GZ. We soon noticed an interesting object, and after eyeing it up, decided rather superstitiously, not to try it on for size. Then realized, "Thats the Full Metal Jacket". We then found the clue and moments later the container. The container had some water in it and the log book is wet. We managed to take out the contents and dry a page on the "full metal jacket", which was in direct sunlight, so it was quite warm. A very enjoyable cache. Almost as enjoyable as the movie of the same name, which is one of our all time favourites. "Me love you, long time" I think its Stanley Kubricks best, although 2001 Space Odyssey and A Clockwork Orange were way ahead of there time, they could do with a remake. But who could do them justice? Ok, this is turning into a novel. Signing off now. TFTC
Found the old cemetery. Nice location!
Cache was found very quick.

Marvelled at the object. After finding the cache we looked at more graves and were particularly attracted to the one full of cosmos flowers in bloom. Lovely quiet old cemetery.
Lovely peaceful site ( As it should be ) interisting cache, I wonder if he made them for the town people as hopefully it wasn't his one
Ah - so that it how they make (made?) coffins! Interesting find! Cheers Gav [1882]
WTF!!! Seriously though what is it for - is it a reminant ornament for a grave or actually someones nuclear blast resistant demon repelling coffin?

An interesting spot in Stafford - interesting as I work for a company of similar name, must tell them about this!
The object (FMJ) was spied, and although it's shape is familiar, it's use is not. Not welded tight, with flange. mmmmm, even my celebrant training is no use here.
Jacko led us to the cache, and we avoided the bee nest in the tree by the gate. And the bees ignored us.
Thanks, indeed for the puzzle!

Really enjoyed this site - very peaceful and beautiful today. Interesting to wander round reading. Put a couple of things in, just can't remember what. We are all out of bears

Found JACKO easily enough. Tried the hint which gave two possible locations. Searched fruitlessly for 10 minutes or so, but was getting REALLY hungry by this stage.
Been here before so was interested in finding this one. Easy find... some old history here... Took : Mouse Left: Turkey
Bitsprayer, you really do find the unusual! I don't think that jacket would keep me very warm. This is a very interesting old cemetery. The cache was out on the open - possums? I replaced it back to it's notified location. TNLN T4TC.
Nice one, always amazed at the things our inimitable duo come up with. There must be a story behind that one, would love to hear it.
TFTC and the fun.

Lots of Irish history here! Interesting. Would never have known this place existed without geocaching. Elaborate headstones for the time.

Wow! This location is very cool. I arrived later in the day to the sounds of wekas calling. I just sat for some time soaking up the very cool atmospher. The cache was straight forward. TNLN. Cheers
Seems I'm following someone around Westland. All I can say is Wow!! That's a bit "heavy"!! Very poignant history on those gravestones. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(660)
That was a very interesting spot. Am still wondering why w=metal and not timber? TNLN.
[Nice easy one, theres good gold under this site... real good gold, just north of the entry gates is where a sluceface had to stop because there were] full metal jackets [sticking out of the face. ]
Quick find this afternoon. Cache was looking exposed so covered it up a bit. Had visited this spot about 6yrs ago with a friend who took photo's of the Full Metal Jacket. When i started getting closer to the spot it all fell into place - TNLN
Found it while staying at Goldsborough, Had a realy nice sunny few days.

Very interesting cache location. The last finder was a muggle two days ago, he left cache intact but in the open. We signed log and made swaps before tucking the cache discretely back. TFTC

CACHE IS GONE! It was evening and this place really was quite spooky. I'm claiming I found the cache as I found the Full Metal Jacket but there was definately no cache attached to it. I thoroughly inspected it. Even turned it over as it had clearly been moved from a spot nearby. Left it as I found it. Thoroughly searched surrounding ground and around stones. Upon returning to my car, where I had left the door open, I had to shoo two Weka's from within! Then one tried to fly back in through the open window? Gave me a hell of a fright. Weird place.
Found when visiting the cemetery to look at family graves. Curiosity aroused, same evening found geocaching site, bought GPSR 27th Dec, next ??
Wow - that was a surprise! All was revealed when we got there. what a great cache!
Thanks

Excellent. Great historical site...thought it was like something out of a Stephen King movie when we parked...especially in the pouring rain. A weka was happy though.
Nice One!!!!!!! This cache site has got to be one of the best. Great history lessson with a touch of mystery. Must do some research on this one. No log book, so left some paper in the container. TNLN Thanks
Been following in Cloudy Peak's footsteps. Found this one, but it needs a new log book Wayne. Very interesting, and one muses as to who would fit such a jacket...?
Been following in Cloudy Peak's footsteps today.... Very interesting subject.... can't help wonder who would fit such a jacket....? Log book missing today, but pencil still there. No swaps. Thanks for the cache Wayne
No logbook or pencil in cache, and we had nothing to substitute sorry.
Great spot though - some very old residents there.

Have visited this location quite often and mused over the object highlighted by the cache.
The Press ran an article on it a few years ago. No-one seems to know what it is.
Had to wait for some muggles.
Thanks for the cache.
