We were on the hunt when another figure walked in the gate. Hello BB, what are you doing here? And 5 mins later we were joined by PG06. After a quick find and a quick catch up we set off our separate ways. Good to see you again guys.
An interesting place in the heart of Salisbury. A good one to bring up our 900th cache! Thanks BB

Kiwi Cache Raid: #183 @ 21:57. With all the devlopment around here it has become a very unusual place for a cemetery. Many thanks Beaker's Bunch.,,,,,,,,,

Quick easy find while waiting for the ungeohubby to finish work. Not too many muggles about but boys feigned a deep interest in the gravestones while I did the deed. TNLN. TFTC
visited as I was going past. Relatively few people around- which suited me fine. TNLNSL. TFTC

Interesting place - I wonder if the reposed would like to spend eternity in the middle of a busy shopping complex??? Even so, no-one took any notice of the cache retriever. Cheers from Featherwaite.
Everyone going about their own business here - hardly got a look. [^]
GPS wouldn't stay still, so took awhile to find the right place.
Easy to conceal our activity once found.

Saw right away where it had to be. Had to 'wander' the cemetery looking at headstones to wait for the traffic to calm down enough to get to cache. In the end, I noticed that most of the walkers never even give this place a second look. Too bad, they probably don't know what they are missing. TFTC
went round and round for a while. nice hide. suprised you didnt call it SECS in the cemetary TFTC TNLNSL
This one took a little longer than it should have but got it in the end. TFTC
Not quite what I expected; in fact I got a nice little surprise. GPSr was a bit over the place, but that didn't matter because I got a chance to wander around and look at the surrounds. I've been near here before, but never noticed this.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Ninety-second of 128 finds on "The Big Adelaide Assault" in company with acts2youthgroup and HawMorFords. Hmmmmm! This was an easy find, despite the muggle lurking nearby. We found this one at 1544. I made no exchange. Thanks to Beaker's Bunch for the cache. Cheers, dak.

This one sure surprised me as it is a very strange place for a shopping centre We actually decoded the hint as we looked for an entry point into GZ.
The hint provided an easy but very odd find.... Certainly the first time I have found one like this!

Found at 1615. Quick find in an historic cemetary. Right in the middle (dead centre [:o)]) of modern civilisation.
A lovely warm night perfect to be out caching and no muggles around, picked this one up at 9:30pm so it was nice and dark. TNLNSL MODU.
Found at 7:00 PM. There were a few muggles around but none caused any real problem. Having attended the old Methodist church on a couple of a occasions circa 1950, it was good to sit in the cemetry and reminisce for a few moments.
A good hide with a realistic hint.

Great cache in a strange location. Easy find given the clues. Left a few material flowers as I thought it was appropriate.
Quick find in an amazing spot! We left some material flowers in the cache! We had a James and a Thomas with us and my IPAQ is nicknamed George! (freaky?)

Had a shocker of a day, so decided to cheer myself up with another cache. Reached location around 10:30pm, muggle-free zone, but a bit cold (10 degrees C).
Despite an hour of searching in the dark by torchlight, came up empty handed. (My GPSr had me going from one corner to the other.) Decided to call it a night and head home.
Will try this one another time, perhaps on a weekend near dusk.

Always thought of checking out this place, but never got around to it - thanks!
Found at 00:40, very very quite not another soul in sight... This is 3rd and last cache after our wanderings tonight. Had a spare film canister with us so replaced it and added a tiny silica gel sachet to keep the moisture down. Thanks Beaker's Bunch. Cheers 'scargoes (P&F only)
Found with cached, The film canister lid is missing did not have one to replace it.

My first cache in SA. I was in town for the day on business. Sometimes it's helpful to be well dressed because you draw less attention to yourself at times like this. I took a photo of a tombstone that had my 24 y.o. niece's name on it. Think I'll send it to her and freak her out. The lid of the container appears to be missing but things aren't too damp inside. TFTC.
A short walk from Pitman park. Seems a bizzare place to find a cemetary, but I guess it was there long before all the comercial development. Had to look like we were visiting ancestors while muggles watched on from the car park. Had to resort to the hint before we could find this elusive little container. Good to see this place remain here despite the progress around it. Thanks Beaker's Bunch.
This had the hallmarks of a similar cache in Mount Gambier - but I was wrong. Eventually found the cache as we picked a time just after dark, which saw a significant reduction in muggles.
Just to think that late last year I was only metres away from this cache when I was attending a meeting at the building closest to this cache!
Great one Beaker, as up to your usual standard

Probably not the best time to try this one. After I had retrieved the cache a women came and sat on bench just on other side of fence and kept looking at me. Must have thought I was up to no good. So retreated to a bench in middle of graveyard and played with my PDA until she went away. No one else near by so quickly replaced in hidey- hole.

Went looking on my way to work. Lots of muggles around. Had to open gate, it squeked loudly. Hoever i just nosied around the seats and all. But no joy, will head back under the cover of darkness..
Found cache quite easily but we had to do a few tricks to retreive it!
Thanks

Having spent a delightful couple of hours with Beaker's Bunch, they suggested this cache for us to find at the end of the day. Found it after a short (well as short as a piece of string ) search. Nice to have the owners within earshot for helpful hints ... I get three right ... phone a friend, 50/50 and ask the audience [?] Sincere thanks BB

After years of driving nearby decided to find this one.Initially forgot the pencil so returned with pencil and folder in hand, looking the part as Ihecked out the headstones.
Another point of interest is a time capsule about 15m to the west that one of the families has put there. Looks like they have planned for it to be there for 50 years. Pretty good idea.

Wow, what an amazing place! Talk about right in the middle of suburbia, it's great to see that it remains (relatively) untouched, considering what has been built around it. We arrived at this one completely un-prepared at 6:30pm tonight, so we unable to place any flowers. But we will return when it is lighter. A quick look at the clue on the PDA pointed us in the right direction. Signed Log.
Thanks for bringing us here ... it was truely amazing.

I located this one a few days ago but due to the car park and shopping crowd decided another day would have to suffice. But a bit of ingenuity you can get to it without arousing supicion even on a busy Friday morning. Took heed of the hint and took in a buch of flowers, easy.
A very interesting spot and worth taking the time to look at the history of old Salisbury.
Thanks, a great little cache.

Found by Mary & David at 0915. Deja vu. We've been here before collecting cache waypoint data. Glad to see they've kept the area intact and not just made a wall of the headstones. A few people about on this damp morning, but they weren't interested in us at all. We must have looked as though we belonged! Plenty of birds about. Our thanks to Beaker's Bunch.
Found quite easily. Few Muggles about as the shops had just opened. Took #1 son for decoy.
We never knew this was here and it is lovely. A Sunday afternoon, a few muggles about - but with a 3yrold, just looks like a family outing. Inventive micro, thanks. SL.
Early on Sunday morning and barely a soul around (hang on... actually several, but they weren't watching). Last time we were here we were surrounded by nearly 2000 other cyclists! Retrieved the cache quickly to sign the log. Amazing to have this bit of history here, completely surrounded by shops.
Found this one a couple of days ago, but couldn’t retrieve it because of the Muggle factor. Early morning on Mother’s Day solved that problem. Forgot to bring a flower with me though (on today, of all days ) Signed the log then slipped the little bugger back. Thanks BB
We came here Thursday 28th at about 6.30pm using a borrowed gps to try and find our first cache. Stood right in front of the location looking around and at the gps but did not find it,then decided to go and come back another time. Tonight we came back at 8.10 pm and found it straight away. Our third find should have been our first.
As we drove up to this cache we all started chuckling, this was going to fun. As it turned out it seemed rather easy, I think there where too many peopple around to even notice 6 people hanging around this particular spot. TNLNSL.

Quick pick-up on my way north for the day. Plenty of muggles around but no-one payed any attention to someone writting details down from a gravestone! Cheers.
even though this place is so open I think the drug deal going down nearby was of more interest to those people. I wondered though if I was suspicious. I've watched too much of The Bill!

Once again the bronze.
Ms Parrothead went out at 9:30 am but was unable to locate it. (she actually got very close without realising it.)

A quick pick up after work – real quick as the cache was still quite warm. It must have reached well over 50 degreeees here as it hit 38 at GZ today (in the shade). The only shade here was from the headstones, and the near-by shopping centre. A good spot to be would have been in the shade, buying ice-cream – as were most of the muggles. They were more concerned with not letting their ice creams drip, than the activities at the real GZ.
Thanx Beakers.. Clear skies, TeamAstro.
(Oh, I placed a small yellow flower – can the next cacher find it??)[^]
