Found by Suitman & Harry @ 1620 hrs. On our whale watching expedition TNLNSL TFTC log book is getting full
Found at 2:42 PM GAFF1.On our way to our camp for the night and we pulled over to find this cache and expect some scenic views. Well the cache find part was a cinch as it was lying out in the open, (maybe that is why it is rated just a measly 1.0/1.0 ) but the views were spectacular and better than expected - but that would be due to the fantastic still clear blue day helping a bit Thanks to four-funFeedback: Cache is not a 1ltr plastic container, but more like a 400ml plastic container. And the hint is only repeating what is inferred in the description.
Found this whilst on a weekend away for a camping trip with gridge98, we went to Kingston SE, Robe and Cape Jaffa. Thanks for the cache.
Parked up and made the walk into this cache, a lovely view over the lakes from here, cache found and is all good. This weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed away for a few days to Kingston S.E and surrounds for the local parkrun plus find a few caches and enjoy the weekend away, most of the logs books were signed with our names others signed as COCO. Thanks for the cache
Our first ever find!!! This was an unreal thrill, and we discovered an amazing cave which we wouldn’t have if we weren’t looking for the cache. BYO pen/cil
Today is a once-off pubic holiday. I and J plus the little one took three ferries on River Murray (Tailem Bend, Wellington, Narrung). And of course, we tried some caches on the way. Today we scored 22 caches, including Traditional cache, Virtual cache, Mystery cache, and Lab adventure cache. Only one DNF.
This cache was the second last cache we tried today.
We visited the lighthouse, as suggested in the travel brochure. And finding a cache there is even better.
Nice view!
As all of our three mobile phones cannot pick up signal, I planned to search all the logic area over there, but I found the cache in the first place I checked.
Signed the log, and put it back. Covered it with a rock, same as I found it.
Thanks for the cache, four-fun.

Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We replaced the badly broken cache, the log was in good condition so we left it in the new container. Great views.
Our thanks to all the COs for taking on this Geo-guided tour. We have enjoyed ourselves, but it is time to turn West again.

Found but as previously mentioned everything was on ground. We were unable to provide a new container unfortunately. I returned it to its hiding spot as well as I could.

Camping at Narrung, I woulked up to the lighthouse with my Aunt and her 2 dogs. Had a look for the cache that we found previously. Found it strewn all over the ground! Put it all back as best I could, the container has perished beyond useable. Placed it back where I thought it should be, but the CO needs to do a visit on this one and give it a bit of TLC to keep it in play!!
Hi Today was a hideously early start for a Sunday. But after seeing my footie team had won overnight spurred me into action.
I was at Morphett Vale by 6.30 and we were off to Wellington to meet the rest of the JAMS crew. We were a little bit early so we started off with one cache in Wellington.
Then we piled into Sir Spectres 4WD, we were crammed in like sardines and then headed over on the ferry for an action filled day of ‘out of the way’ caches that just never seem to be ticked off.
Then back to Wellington and towards Langhorne Creek for some old roads before splitting up and heading back home.
Just one more in Strath and then in Onkaparinga River Park before finally making it back home.
I was laughing so hard at one 4WD stretch that I couldn’t speak, it was a hell of a ride.
Fun day out.
Really enjoyed the stroll up to find this one interesting that this is the only inland lighthouse in Australia. TFTC

A day finding caches with the JAMS Crew( Sir Spectre, mogni, JJ52 and Michells&hound). Plenty of 4x4 driving and bouncing around in the back seat. A real fun day. A nice walk to this one. TFTC four-fun
The JAMMS team rejoined for an adventurous day out exploring and grabbing a few high D and T caches as well as visiting a few we didn't quite get to for the JLWE. Some of the roads were a little bumpy but with three of us in the back of sir_spectre's 4WD we could only move so much, unfortunately up was still an option.

First time i have ever been over this ferry. quick find.
The full quota of JAMS crew ( jj52, allister w, Mongi, Michells&hound, plus myself ) where out for a drive today. The Wellington ferry is the location we meet and then we combined in to my 4 x 4 for the rest of the morning and the start of the afternoon. We headed off to Malinong then took a 4 x 4 short cut to some more caches and followed a geocachers path to Meningie then to Narrung, where i question if the Kartoo Road is really a 4 x4 track or just high clearance for the sandy patches ,and back to the Wellington Ferry and Allisters car. Two cars then headed to get some caches that where missed on the JLWE at Langhorne Creek. Again the crew jumped in my car at times since some of those used to be a road you just need a 4 x4 or it's a walk to the cache. A fun day out was had by all, even though at times it was a bumpy ride. Always good to get those out of the way caches off the map.

Lovely walk to the cache today. All in good condition. Happy New Year.

Found this cache as part of a 3 day kayaking expedition. Day 1 was a paddle in the Coorong from Parnka Point to the top of NineMile Rd, then portaged the kayaks to Lake Albert. Day 2 was 33km of kayak sailing to Narrung for the night, and day 3 was a 37km dash across Lake Alexandrina with a fresh 15-20kn tail wind, which made for quick and wild sailing!
The views from this cache are stunning - brilliant location for a cache.
I bumped into a photographer here, who now knows all about geocaching. And so does the ferry driver who is now quite interested in the hobby.
Fav point for the location on this one!

One of THE best.
Hint about the hint - the container for the container is cylindrical!!! I added a beautiful little poppy broach for the first person who would be proud to wear it on Azac Day.

Just spent 3 nights at Wellington traveling around nearby far geocaching. Such a great way to discover many adventurous places.

Day One of my first mega experience. Today I make the drive from Gumeracha to Millicent picking up a few valuable caches along the way. The weather is grey and drizzly but not too cold, and at least I’m not out in the storm that blitzed through yesterday.
This was one of the “valuable” ones. This fills the most recent hole in my Jasmer grid. At first I thought it might be an overly long detour, but I’m glad I made the choice to include this cache.
The road is sealed, and there’s a place just before the ferry where you can leave the car and pick up the path, complete with information board on the roadside.
With today’s weather, this felt more like England than Australia. Everything was grey and you couldn’t see across the lake. Sounds gloomy, but I thought it was a great start to the day.
Thanks so much four-fun.

Found on a camping trip to the Coorong and Southeast areas with brisal5, FeatherWaite and a non-geocaching friend who was visiting from Tasmania.
My main aim of the visit was to show my friend around, however we also took the opportunity to find a few caches along the way. We had a great time visiting some of the beaches and other areas.
We were lucky with the weather - mostly warm and still. However, the last day was very hot, so didn’t worry about finding any caches on the way home.
I am planning to be down in the Southeast again in a few days to find a few more caches and attend the events at Millicent and Naracoorte.
Thanks four-fun for the cache.

ROAD TRIP! Time to head south and fill a few gaps near the Coorong that require a 4WD to access. [^] So I joined Featherwaite in the trusty Hilux and with E.gregory in his mighty Palace on wheels in support what could possibly go wrong. [?]
Day 1: Get there and find a nice spot to camp for the night:: It ended up being Tea Tree Crossing Campsite which we had all to ourselves. But of course there were a few caches to find along the way.
Wow - an inland lighthouse. That is something you won't see every day. Leaving the cars we set off towards GZ wondering if we would meet any wriggling sticks with the temperature climbing steadily. We needn't have bothered as what was really scary was the loud buzzing of the numerous bees that covered the track all the way. It was hard not to step on any and make them angry. [8)] Making it to GZ the cache was quickly found and it was time to take in the views.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks four-fun for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Found during a camping trip to the Coorong and the Southeast areas with brisal5 and I in one vehicle, and e.gregory and friend in the other. We travelled around the Narrung Peninsula and down the Coorong where we spent the first night camped out at Tea Tree Crossing. Enjoyed some challenging driving and eventful cache finds, wandering bush tracks and strenuous sand dune climbs in very scenic areas. The second night saw us camp out in Little Dip before meandering the country roads in search of an assortment of Traditional, Earth, Multi and Puzzle caches further down the coast before heading back home via Lucindale, Padthaway and Keith. Thanks for the cache four-fun!

Fabulous spot. Love the views and so great to pick this one up. Good to keep the old ones alive.
Been great staying in Tailem Bend. The weather is awesome.
On a road trip to South Australia now the border is open with Kittykatch, and barb2e calling ourselves Border Busters or BB. Fifth day of our trip and loving the beautiful green fields and cool day. Awesome day to be out.

Found over the JLWE With SpidermonkeysMum. Managed to incorporate a bit of 4wdriving, geocaching and touring but sadly no fishing. Thanks for being part of the adventure and for bringing us here.
We had a bit of concern after checking in at our accommodation, that this was now closed to public but were delighted to see people nearby and admiring the structure from our lunch spot on the other side, near ferry landing. We had travelled around one lake, along the Coorong with 4wd and then chose to leave the church for another visit. With a cache near our lunchspot inaccessible today, I was keener than ever to get this one. We had to wait for muggles to leave, but once they did we put the binoculars down and scrambled over to locate the cache. SeaEagle2 found it before me AGAIN and thought it was hilarious as he was holding it out and I still didn't see it. Decent sized cache in a fabulous location. Thankyou for bringing us here...favourite point for sure...
Love this spot- what a view
I often take the ferry but don’t take the time to stop and actually check out this look out

After enjoying nearly all of our week in Meningie we decided that a tour around Lake Albert was in order while trying for some of the nearby caches. The weather was surprisingly cool for this time of the year but much better than caching on a hot day.
What a delightful spot with great views across the lake and down to the ferry

My final day of my weekend down at the south-east on the Limestone Coast, I finished up a little earlier than anticipated, and so decided to make my slowly north grabbing a few geocaches. I drove through Tantanoola (finding a couple of newly published caches), then through Millicent, found a few more of the GV2020 caches that were inaccessible the last time I was driving that trail, and then I managed to geocache through Hatherleigh. My intermediate pit stop was at Parnka Point along the Coorong, and managed to find an oldie and adventurous island cache. Then, rather than a flying visit through Meningie along the Princes Highway, a decision was made to turn left around Lake Albert. Consequently, a few stops were made within Meningie and heading out, and then consequently at Long Point, Pelican Point, Raukkan and then finally through Narrung catching the ferry across. I had actually forgotten about the ferry here, and it was late by the time I was heading across, that I was glad to see it operating at all hours of the day.
My final cache of the day, and I had to walk to the lighthouse by my own torchlight. There was no lighthouse light on today as promised by this geocache, but there was the replacement simple flashing light on nearby, that was a quarter of the size (or even less!).
The cache had a great hiding spot and good coordinates, so it didn't take long to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks four-fun for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. An awesome location for a cache!

On our way down to Kingston, we had to use the Narrung ferry. Before, we stopped at the nice little lighthouse to have an impressive look over both lakes. At that opportunity, I could also find the cache and sign the logbook.

Hi there four-fun.
We found your cache **"Albert & Alexandrina"** today. (This makes our find count 21338).
Today we headed out from Meningie to do the Scenic Lake Albert Drive. We enjoyed our outing and found 4 caches (& DNF'd 0) in our cache run. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia. Thanks also for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this regular sized cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Oh thank you. Many wonderful caches coming down the Murray from Morgan. This one is spectacular. HOWEVER BEWARE - stepping back to photograph the lighthouse with the stone cottage behind you could fall into a large, deep hole in the rock and really hurt yourself.
Woke up to an early start hoping to get as many caches up this way as possible, an amazing area that we would never have come to if it wasn't for geocaching but a definite to come back to with all the family. TFTC
A quick trip across the water on the ferry, followed by a short walk to the lighthouse soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. I think a facelift is happening. TFTC
Easy find on an amazing spot! The view from the lighthouse is beautiful! Thank you so much!

Headed over the border into South Australia for a June Long Weekend caching trip to Meningie. Oh and to help sharkiefan make it to the big 10,000th smiley.
After abandoning the ROTF series at 180 from the north, we had more time to cache and have a good look around the Meningie and Lake Albert area.
This was well worth the walk up to GZ. I was amazed at the amount of bird life there is around, and on, the lakes. Also the view from up here was awesome.

Oooh a lighthouse!!! I LOVE lighthouses. There were a few people about but not near the cache. Was pretty excited by the lighthouse and ferry combo. You just dont get that in Melbourne and certainly not a free ferry. Awesome view and tones of birds. A favorite for sure.
This weekend mission was to get to 10,000 finds.
Initially the plans were to do the ROTF series, but a combination of not realizing that I was so close to 10,000, plus not wanting it to be a boring power trail cache for my big number AND the trail was on such a bad road with awfully incorrect hints and coords, so we abandoned the original plan at about 3pm and concentrated on just seeing the sights and finding what was along the way. It was much more fun.
The end of the weekend had me at 10,011 finds and quite pleased with the rest of my weekend.
I had found 5 types of geocache (trad, multi, mystery, letterbox and Earthcache) and seen some amazing wildlife and scenery. Basically the ideal caching trip.

Suscoe and Phetlern headed out this morning for a final round of the Meningie area to find a few caches in some interesting locations.
The sky was a little overcast, very gentle breeze and quiet roads to travel.
What a splendid area this is and we have been pleased that we decided to have a few days here to enjoy the countryside and the caches in the very good company of Phetlern.
Thanks to four-fun for this cache, certainly not a T1 as getting s wheel chair up this hill would be a significant task.
We had read of the reptile encounter in past logs but after knocking on the wood all was quiet on the inside.
So hand in and cache out.
What a view, a good bit of history and a cache.
A favourite from us.

After completing the ROTF series, it was a complete change and the promise of some individual caches which drew us with Suscoe, to this fascinating area of SA. We loved the birdlife, the coastal scenery and of course earning a smiley token.

I would have thought the 20+ finds that have occurred since the "needs archive" note may have been a bit of a hint that the cache is still there!!!!!!!!!!!!

On our journey eastbound this GC was on our way. We stay over Night on the campsite on the other side and wanted to have a look here up by the lighthouse. The view over the scenery, after using the ferry and a littel walk, was beautiful.
Here it was a quick find. But i wonder about T1? How does a wheelchair come here for example?

Had a chance to drive a bit further today with Purrfect Di assisting.
A quick walk from the road and soon had some amazing views and a neatly hidden cache.
Interesting history, fresh air, what more could we want!
Fav for the great location.
Thanks for this one four-fun

Escaped home for the long weekend and decided to spend it caching and kayaking around the fleurieu peninsula area. Was a good eventful weekend accompanied by -Beaker-, FerociousFlea and a roaring sun. This cache had a particularly nice walk and view, and deserves a favorite point from me

Found with Astronaut99 and Beaker on a long weekend camping, kayaking and geocaching adventure up the Coorong and all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. Highlights included seeing hundreds of Pelicans in the Coorong, Jellyfish in the crystal clear waters at Victor Harbour/Port Elliot, visiting a sea cave, and waking up in our swags on Australia Day to see the silhouette of kangaroos! An interesting piece of history and an amazing view after a lovely little stroll. Worth a favourite. Thanks
