Love your caches, sad to see them go. Thanks for the good times Bluedog. Tftc
Found this one with Cantcacheus2014. I absolutely love your caches and I am sad to see them go too. Thanks for the caches, Oldbluedog!
Stortigirls, Out'n'about and I were headed to the Melbourne Mega. Next on our list for the day was this cache. We read the description with interest. We were lucky enough to be able to find a spot to park the car very close. The Donkey intrigued us. We were luck enough to find the tool quickly. With the assistance of another tool we had, we soon spotted the cache and used the first tool to retrieve it. We added our names to the log and rehid the cache before we continued on our journey. Loved, loved, loved this cache. Great location and hide (and cool retrieval). Take another favourite for your collection and tftc Oldbluedog
TFTC in area with Team Zener heading to Melbourne Mega so adding a few to map.

Found it, thought I'd have to come back with a torch, but then the light shone in just the right way... used a tool i found lying nearby, it was perfect, maybe the correct tool but not put back in the correct location after use?
Cycling along the river on a visit to Dubbo.

Headed out to attempt this one early this morning. The sun greatly assisted us in locating the cache, and a tricky retrieval ensued. Fantastic hide. TFTC
Next stop on our roadtrip was Dubbo so we looked around for a cache worth doing and spotted this one. Drove right up to GZ and soon had the cache spotted... but not yet retrieved. After trying a few of the natural tools around and having no luck mrnoo17 went back to the car and found a magnet tool which worked a treat!
Very well hidden! TFTC Oldbluedog

Spotted this one quickly and no problem retrieving it.

This was a surprise object all alone with no obvious purpose or signage. I had just the right stature to spot the cache and saw a nearby object to assist with retrieval. Thanks for a good hide.
On my way home from the OZ Mega at Stanthorpe, So I thought I'll get some
In Dubbo. What do you do when you don't have the right tool, you look around till you find one?
How many people opened the wrong end ??
Thanks Oldbluedog

Not the type of donkey that I expected but we were able to locate the cache easily. It was harder to extract the container but finally had the log in hand and duly signed

Found with taurus1955 and B/dale bandits. Spotted quickly, but took longer to have our hands on the cache. A nice spot spoilt by rubbish. TFTC
We saw the cache container fairly easy but getting it was another question used a extraction implement and all was good on our way too the mega thanks for the hunt
A nice find before leaving Dubbo early this morning on our last stretch heading to the QLD Mega, Stanthorpe
Day 2 as we head from Adelaide to Stanthorpe for the mega we stopped here for lunch. Found easily and after reading the "open this end for loigbook" we signed a good condition logbook which still has plenty of room, previous finder might not have noticed that detail. No cut feet either, we wore shoes

Found whilst on current campervan holiday. Needs new log sheet. Be careful of broken glass everywhere...badly cut my foot at GZ. On my way to Easter Mega at Stanthorpe. SL.TFTC!
We realised the general area where the cache would be hidden as we approached. Luckily enough, the cache was in the first place that Mr TiedyeSmileys looked. Even luckier, he even realised it was the cache and didn''t keep on looking.
Mrs TiedyeSmileys' cache bag had just the right equipment to extract the cache and it was soon in hand.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day two saw us caching all day while we drove from Dubbo to Tamworth. Today was a great day seeing people voting and finding lots of caches. These can be a bit scary for caching, but two hidden like this on the trip made for a solid first place to look. Thanks.

Found with Albida33 on the way to the Stanthorpe Mega......so please excuse the generic log.
The cache was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.
Thanks for the cache and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....

On a drive from victoria up to queensland we stopped in this nice little spot for some lunch, of course i knew there would be a geocache close by! Excellent easy hide to introduce my muggle friends to the world of caching! TFTC
We had to laugh as geo-kitten #1 just walked up and said 'there it is'. A previous solo visit in more 'favourable' lighting had ended fruitless. Nice to finally tick this one off. Thanks Oldbluedog.
After a few minutes of looking thought we may need the hint but our youngest team member came to the rescue with the right size arm! Thanks for the cache! TNLN.
Good hide but easy find. Lucky we had someone with tiny hands to retrieve it TFTC
on our way from Canberra to the great outback and as there were no caches in the immediate vicinity, trekked back to Dubbo for a few.
Last cache of the year for me, and while we did still have light and the ability to grab a few more, decided that this was a fantastic hide to end the year on.
This one was very creative & I loved the concept. TFTC OldBlueDog.
Fave for me

We'd made camp in Eumungerie for the night on our way from Canberra to the great outback and as there were no caches in the immediate vicinity, trekked back to Dubbo for a few.

Cache was very easy to find and in an obvious location, but it was just so creative a hide and good to see that something like this has been around for almost 10 years.
Yet another reason I love this hobby. Thanks for a brilliant cache Oldbluedog

Quick stop for a cuppa after leaving from Melbourne this morning, heading for the Sunshine Coast. Needed a second look but found where suspected.TFTC Oldblue dog.
Good hide. I wonder why the donkey is here? This park has huge potential, thanks for bringing us here tftc.
My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 4, Dubbo to Gunnedah.
Today, I was up at six thirty to take the GeoSchnauzers for a walk or two in the "cool" of the morning, down by the Macquarie River. Nice. I also did a cache on each side of the river while we were there. Then we had breakfast, and, the temperature being 35 degrees already, I decided that today will be a park and drive day, mostly.
No 1 of 15 today. Thanks, Oldbluedog. Top cache, good construction effort, well stashed!! We started off with the dog walk, I admired the old donk, then searched out the cache. Then, we walked a bit further and admired the river.

Today we explored Dubbo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Loved the hidey hole!
Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Another find with the Mighty Minions. Nice container. Initial zone was easy to find but took a little effort to locate the container. Well worth it though.
on a great weekend visiting Dubbo with Gilmaster and families we stopped for this cache it was a joint effort for finding and retrieving a very clever cache in a nice spot Thanks oldbluedog TNLN SL
After grabbing caches near the western plains zoo, I wanted to grab a cache close to the town of Dubbo. We were in town for dinner so I stopped by here as it had a high number of favourite points. This was the most entertaining cache on the trip from bris to melbs so far, so another fav point from me. tftc
Nice easy find, in a nice spot, at a nice quiet time of the day. Left pen. TFTC
Found at 10:23:00 AM on a trip to Dubbo and the zoo. I noticed this had a lot of favourites so we stopped here. It was a good spot to swim the dogs before the trip home. Cache was found easily,. but log is in bad shape.
Thanks Team Bluedog

No tool required and found in the first place I looked. We used to walk to town from West Dubbo over the Black bridge as it was so much more direct than taking the White bridge. Once a train even stopped and gave us a lift over.
Found easy enough. Thought I'd grab a quick cache before work this morning.
On the way out I noticed a vagrant asleep under one of the huts further down.
Its 6.15 in the morning whats with that?
Good cache otherwise great park thanks for the cache.
