As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. Got to the leisure centre with a few minutes to spare so had a look around for this one - found the perfect hide hole but nothing there , or anywhere else around. As brooks said, the empty ziplock bag looks ominous...
mucked about for a while with no luck. this one definitely needs a check.
On a brighter note, we had a really great time exploring the museum, seeing the epic lift and going on it, seeing the expedition, and exploring the place. This spot is definitely worth going to so it would be great if you could check on the cache so other cachers would be more keen to come to the area.

Looked high and low, came from several directions, tried triangulation - found zip but many old bottles and a forlorn Ziploc bag on the ground. Maybe muggled, maybe I'm blind - please check it is still where it should be!
I found this one on a pretty wet day and faintly loved in. However a good spot if on a dry day. TFTC
Found by Nanny and Bo late on Easter Sunday.
A great urban park cache. Just the type we like.
Worth a favorite point.

Closest cache to a shop I was visiting (urbanStone, project at home) I’m glad there was no kids or mothers today, had the place to 1’s self. Found cache but logs are saturated, need to be replaced, emptied water out, cache container seems OK but the contents will need to be replaced, TFTC / TFTH / SL
Bit close to a playground for my liking. Cache was half full of water and logbook s soaked. Dried out a bit but did not want to hang around too long.
Not an easy find for us. Hunted high and low. I think we overthought it a bit much and were thrown off by the clues and logs. After an hour we did a last resort and downloaded a GPS app on the iphone and used the co-ordinates. Still a little off but we did find it. There was a trackable (Chewy) who we picked up and we will move him on tomorrow. Went home via the chicken shop sporting many mozzie bites!
Using tree climbing as a distraction while Dad hunted in this high muggle area. Looking at GZ from a couple of angles it finally mad sense. Being from Canberra we were attracted to a WBG themed cache. An excellent hide. Dropped off Chewie TB and we see it's already moved on, terrific! Thanks for bringing us to this great location.
After taking the geokids indoor climbing this was the closest unfound cache. We found lots of snails in one hidey hole near the incinerator and the cache neatly hidden in another. Also the geokids had fun getting dizzy on the playground. TFTC
I recall eating in the incinerator (it was a restaurant then) many years ago. Found the cache after a bit of crawling about. The container is quite wet but the log is ok in its bag. TFTC
Good quick find. Cache a bit wet, probably to be expected with this weather. Good to see they have now refurbed the incinerator as last I saw it was going to waste.
The playing fields were packed as well as the car park, fortunately, the playground near GZ was empty (as was GZ itself).
An interesting building - an art gallery now? Had a look at the art constructed with the plastic bottles in the construction fence.
Thanks, Robmc.

One I've been meaning to grab for a while after my aunties who live nearby introduced me to caching at another nearby!

Another quick close one in Artarmon, so I drove around and parked in the parking spot. No one in the playground, in fact no one around at all. I walked towards GZ and started looking. I made this a lot harder on myself than I needed to, as I wandered around up and down, before finally comming accross the hide, DOH! SL, TNLN and replaced. Thanx EvilDan, TFTC.

Happened to be riding past on our Sunday morning cycle and remembered this was nearby. Introduced a muggle to the hobby. TFTC.
Found during the drive back to the office after a local morning job (not far from Walters Jukebox actually). The park was empty which was good as, like Mahout, I wouldn't like to be poking around when the playground was full. Thirty plus years of driving along Flat Rock Drive and I knew the incinerator was there but today was the first visit. So many thanks to EvilDan.
#293 Nice park. Glad that it's muggle free when I searched for the cache, as it's very close to the playground. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC!
Great little cache - Easy find as previous posts have indicated the container is suffering from water leaking in somehow...

GeoDaughter and GeoGrandad went to go and find this one!Geograndads 1st cache.Muggles have a big fairy party just near GZ so were very careful.Cache condition was not the best someone needs to get a rag and wipe it out.Coords were 3 meters off so not that bad.We were in the area for Uncles suprise party so thought we could go and grab this one.TFTC 130 caches Woo Hoo
A quick easy find today. Cache was slightly damp but not too bad. I removed the TB to save it getting wet as it wasn;t in a bag.

4th and last cache for my morning walk today. As per one of the previous logs, I'm not sure how watertight this container is as I had to tip some water out too. Log seems to be OK though. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with ease, poured a bit of the water which was in the container out!

Great cache to finish off the evening! A memorable spot for me as it was where I first started swimming, learned to ride a bicycle and spent a lot of my early days as I used to live nearby. TFTC but I found it difficult to sign with my left hand and it is a little unclear!
What a nice walk! If it had not been for geocaching we certainly would not have discovered this nice walk on our own. And thank you for this hide. I took a TB that will go back to the states with me. I left a stone from Colorado...it's how Colorado got it's name...
Some muggles nearby in the park. Nice area. i lived in the area for years and never been here.
Found this arvo, park was pretty deserted too. New log book is there, but there's still plenty of space in the old one (which is dry!). Thanks EvilDan.
Reperio at 1655. Wow what a park, and historical location. Didn't have time to explore the entire area, but after taking a closer look at the incinerator, I wandered over to GZ where the cache was found after a short search. Muggles everywhere but none neat GZ.
Gratias.

Recovered cache this evening for maintainence. Should have it back in place tomorrow, but wait till I post here to confirm.
Nice easy find using goggle map and helped that the cache was out in the open.
Cache is very wet and so is the log. Left it in the sun for a few minutes to dry out the inside of the bag, but it does need some maintenance. Hid it again under the nearest rock to where I found it.

Quick find out of two on a caching detour home from TAFE...wish Hornsby had some parks that were as nice as this one. TNLN TFTC. Cache contents were a bit wet.
Found cache with clan_fraser. Some restoration work done to the contents of the cache, which were extremely soggy. Santa sock didn't make it. Left geocoin. TFTC. Gorgeous renovation of the Incinerator. Thanks for bringing me to a place to which I haven't been in years. [^]
Quick find with geowife. Rain and early hours meant no muggles. Interior still pretty wet (save for bagged log)- especially the Santa sock.
Found with help from Ben the 3yr old. As others have said it's very wet inside but log is ok
Our first cache, great fun. The cache is a bit damp with all the rain lately, and all the treasures inside are a bit sad and soggy. Might need to be refreshed soon with a more water proof cache protection!
Thanks Llandajuna

Very good cache, GPS went haywire and the spiders were TERRIFYING! Also, I found some "tiny worms" in the cache.
This cache is getting wet and there are "tiny worms" inside it. May need replacing.
I snuck in here on my way home to find this and wow what a great place you have here.
Cache contents are a bit damp so maybe a quick maintenance will need to be done.

What a lovely park!! Amazing what a load of old rubbish can be transformed into!! TnLn, TfTc ..
ps.. FYI, I meant to mention that there was a fair bit of water in the container so everything getting pretty damn and mouldy. The log book wasn't too bad but i put it into a new ziplock to try and make sure it stays dry.

Found! When we got there, there was already some others there to look for it. But we have the luck to find it first. ) With some help from leonieh.
Found thanks to the keen eyes of Bork14 who we bumped into. Lots of spiders to contend with! TNSL left butterfly magnet. TFTC!
Quick find ater having found Still the One. Had to be careful whilst hunting as there were a few kids around. Spotted a likely hiding spot and Abel E made the grab. TFTC, unfortunately we couldnt see much of the building in question as there were renovations going on. TFTC

The incinerator is getting a face lift. Found the cache without getting noticed, came the back way. TNSLLN

We found it but not until after we stood on top of GZ, abandoned the search due to proximity of two mini-muggles and an anxious grandfather wondering what those two grown-ups were doing and walked down to check out the nearby Henry Lawson Cave. On our return the coast was clear and there it was. Insides were a bit wet but we dried them as best we could. TN L a 1983 Mardi Gras coin SL TFTC Cheers.........Gaztek
There were a few workmen nearby but they didn't affect retrieval of the cache.

Out on a caching expedition with Scratches today, this being the first of many.
I should have done this one years ago when I worked at the swim centre nearby.
Lots of restoration work happening on the Incenerator at the moment.

Quick round of golf in Northbridge interrupted by rain, but managed to persuade my fellow golfers Cookie Bear and Darth Boy to stop for 5 minutes to locate this cache on the way home. Fought our way through lots of wet greenery to find the cache. Santa Sock container going a little mouldy inside, but logbook is dry. Kept Santa Sock in the cache but might be worth the next visitor taking a new bag for the logbook to replace this.

Enjoyed the playground then on to the cache - virtually where we parked the car! Left a few swaps as not many in the box. Could still do with a few more if the next cachers have some spares. TFTC and for bringing us to a new area!
"Monocle" of 'The Squints' was out and about on her own today and found this one relatively easily. There was a small child on a scooter who was obviously interested in what I was doing but I quickly ditched that tail. Cache is still a bit damp but log book is OK.
Made this a bit harder than it should have been. GPS took me to the right area but there was a gardener working right nearby making searching difficult. Finally retreated some distance, took a bearing and saw GZ as I got close.
Cache a bit damp, thanks for bringing me here to see Walter Burley's grand creation. Hopefully it will be restored to a fitting monument.

Quite an interesting park and not a muggle to be seen. Coords were right on and found without too much trouble in a likely location. TFTC
On our way to some Middle Head caches after a hospital visit, we needed facilities and somewhere for our picnic lunch. After spotting this playground and parking, I checked out nearest caches and realised we were about to picnic on top of one. While the coffee was being made I wandered over and soon found the well hidden cache, but don't know how it survives in this obviously well used park. Loved the animal noises, statues and play equipment, and the incinerator was an amazing piece of construction. TNLN, thanks for an excellent hide in this great little kids' park.
Great to see one of Walter Burley Griffin's distinctive buildings. Hopefully this incinerator will be preserved, unlike the much larger one which used to be on the city side of the old Glebe Island Bridge before it was demolished. Many, many muggles of all ages nearby, with paths in close proximity on various sides. Not sure why anyone would want to walk their dog in the park wearing high heels, but I guess it takes all kinds. (Maybe the heels were wooden, and thus useful as emergency vampire stakes?)
Apologies to the last two cachers, but this was an easy find, although it was a little off the coords.
We tried a bit to the west of where the GPS wanted us, and there it was.
Thanks for bringing us here..

No luck here I thought I saw the spot it should be it was screaming hide me here, but no cache
We were on a flying visit to Sydney, and this was on our list of caches that we wanted to pick up while we were here. A very interesting building, and a neat little cache location. Thanks Dan! TNLN
Found at 10.30am GAFF1. After a DNF at Still the One? this cache was very easy as the container was totally exposed - a certain candidate for a muggle raid. Another beautiful park and on such a lovely day there were many people enjoying it.
Thanks EvilDan.

This was a tricky one. Spent ages wandering around with my GPS receiver sending me in every direction imaginable. But in my final moments of desperation I followed my nose once again and came out trumps.
Great location. Love the noises the park makes.
