despite the previous logs i had a look myself. could't find anything. not a good place for a cache anyway, all full of rubbish. there are certainly better spots around the lookout.
We traveled around Tasmania for 3 weeks and took some caches. We saw so many nice places only because we searched a cache. Thanks for Geocaching to see so nice places.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

This cache should be archived as there is a container (but no lid) and the temporary log is an a sad state. The owner has not been on the geo caching site in 18 months and the cache is obviously neglected. It is certainly not a credit to the caching game.
This was day 57 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and day 5 of the Tasmanian part.
This was a nice quick and easy cache to find. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced as found. This cache needs a lot of attention.

Quick find, no TB here. Cache totally open to the elements because someone forgot to turn it upside down. Needs maintenance or it's not going to survive! TFTC
We're now two thirds through our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

Needs Maintenance Soon... It was reported in December as being muggled but no ones done anything about it Makeshift Cache was totally open to the elements because someone forgot to turn it upside down. Surprised to see the log still there and dry! Needs maintenance SOON or it's not going to survive! TFTC
Visited Smithton for the day.
Enjoy the view at the Lookout after find a cache.

As per previous logs the cache has been muggled, all that remains is the container.
We have put a replacement log in the container and have hidden the container upside down to protect the log from the elements. A plastic bag and replacement container will be needed for the cache to get back up to standard though.

Container found, contents missing! No where near surroundings obviously been tampered with, however still logged it as we found the container #DT&han
We nearly got blown off the lookout today, the wind was so strong. It was nice to be more sheltered when we walked to the cache. I took the bear travel bug and left a Clan-Wallace one which wants to find its way to Perth, hoping someone will give it a move along.
We also purchased some of the honey nearby and it was very tasty.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
This morning Mrs Felix ducked into town to make the find of our last 2 unfound caches, refuel the geocruiser and some last minute shopping.
Then off towards Smithton!
This was our first stop after dropping off the caravan. Well hasnt this place changed since the cache was placed! not much of a view, no map, no picntic table and no bbq [B)] Still a good spot but not much of a view anymore (trees have grown). Cache was given a spring clean as we returned it to the Geocruiser gave it a coat of paint and wiped it out, replaced the logsheet then put back in place.
Nice to see this cache is over 10years old.

Getting a bit bedraggled and looks like some rubbish rather than a geocache. Could do with a better container.
Nice view! Wouldn't have found this lookout without geocaching! Thanks and danke!
Found Traveling in Taz on holidays from NSW. Nice view from lookout.[Time to Find: 7 min]
We dropped the kids off with nanny and poppy for a swim at Tall Timbers and went off to complete the Smithton caches. A nice honey stall here but I wanted creamed leatherwood. Once we found the track we located the cache quickly . Great views. TFTC
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Ouch, some bad pokie bushes here. The GPS took me down the wrong trail and I paid for it with a few scratches. I finally figured it out and had the cache in no time.
Thanks for the adventure Kerrison Clan!

After spending the morning in Stanley, a trip to Smithton was next. This little lookout was a good spot to see duck bay. There was even honey for sale there mmm yum Cache was a short distance away in the scrub, so off I went. Located quickly after a plastic bag was wrapped around it [?] Stamped and replaced as found.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week trip around beautiful Tasmania soaking up the sights after visiting here almost 8 years ago. This time the little Na'wals are with us and some caching is to be done. We had a wonderful time time even the the terrible weather that we uncounted most of the time here.

Found while visiting Tassie to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Found after a short search. TNLNSL TFTC
This is the old stomping ground of geohubby and we visited the town today to farewell a family member. Vale Simo.
Fantastic little bush walk on a cold and frosty morning. Found a travel bug replaced and will forward on.
Found the cache without any problems. Contents were soaking wet as the last 10 geocachers or so alreay commented on. Come on fellow geocachers! Take a towel and do some maintenance, we all want to keep the game going don't we? We have dried the container, put in a new logbook, some goodies and wrapped the container in a plastic bag to protetct it. TFTC and the views Kerrison Clan.
We have visited Smithton many times when we lived in Tas. Don't remember ever seeing this amazing view. TFTC
Found after bush bashing for ages and given up and spotted while looking for a way out. Legs shredded by blackberries. Needs a hint. Cache waterlogged. Signed a post it note.
Heading back to Stanley after a day trip down to Arthur River. We grabbed this one after the Bear and WKC the hard route and Smiley took the easy way but managed to slip over. The log was wet but smiley etched the name into the log. TFTC.
7th on Tassie Trip. Couldn't really sign the log as it was sodden. I searched for some time but it was in a more obvious location than I expected. The honesty local honey was interesting. Not much in Smithton but our accommodation was really nice. Badja Jnr really enjoyed the ducks. I had trouble finding the definitive experience of the Tarkine which is what drew me to the area. The attraction I had identified and we headed for was a real let down and well below its hype.
