We really enjoyed the visit to the three beautiful locations and this was perhaps my favourite multi of the trip. I was interested to read the rules for each location, I couldn't imagine diving at these locations, way too claustrophobic for my liking!

Thanks,

2Dudez and Team Rubik's Week Long "2008 : A Cache Odyssey" trip to South Australia.
Another great Udderchaos cache. Throughly enjoyed the locations .
Took a little bit of searching at GZ, bit Rob was the one to eventually find it.
This one was a highlight of the trip.
Thanks again Udderchaos

What a great ending.
Must say that I went in there wearing shorts. A big mistake let me tell you.
Went back to the car and changed to my thickest pair of trousers.
Also brought the esky back with me. You never know when you might need to stop for a refeshment . Handy esky that.
Went and checked out a local feature, my there is some pretty stuff down here.

We thought that we had stuffed up the first way point as it said 20km away, but the cache description says a 30km round trip. We went there anyway and found the obvious place. The third was much closer and a familar place.
Took heaps of photos of the way points.
Nice hide at GZ.
Thanks, Robmc.

We had collected the anwers at WP1 one night by torchlight and today seemed to be the day designated to continue our search. I really enjoyed all aspects of this multi and particularly WP'S 2 and the final spots. Wonderful places to be off the tourist trails. A most enjoyable cache thankyou. TNLN

I found this one with a little help from a friend. Not able to climb well at the moment, but we got there. Thanks

Had lunch at the first location, and proceeded to go and find the other two locations during the CCC event. At the final GZ there were two cave divers resting between immersions, enjoying the serenity of their air compressor working away refilling their tanks. We would have talked to them, but just couldn't hear anything over the noise of the compressor! Luckly it also drowned out my whoop of delight when I found the cache! Wink

As a cave diver I’ve seen a lot more of these sites than most people so it was fun to do a cache associated with them. As soon as I read the site description I knew where the final cache would be, but retrieving it took me a little longer than expected. Warning: nettles sting and the rat in the nest about a metre to the left of the cache doesn’t like cachers at all.

Was very pleased to get the lo-down on two sites off the tourist trail, and was glad for the excuse to get out of suburbia into the beautiful countryside of Mt Gambier. At the final location we got a bit stumped and for a while was fixated on a hiding place that fit the description, but which was now inhabited by bees. Being above my head height, I was unable to see in and certainly wasn’t going to stick my hand in there. In the end we eventually found it and so was relieved that we were able to leave the bees in peace [^].
On opening the cache, I thought I had uncovered a travel bug hotel. There were four in there. I had a trackable item with me that I HAD intended to put in here, but it seemed an overkill, opting instead to take out and move on the ‘Stimpson J Catt’ TB.
Thanks for the tour, guys Big Grin.

Tenth of eleven caches on my third day in Mt Gambier (seaside caches day). I started this cache two days ago, so I was keen to complete it before returning home. When I arrived at WP2 there were two Adelaide divers packing up their equipment. I had a yack to them, and found out a lot about cave diving. When they left, I gathered the information from the sign, and set off to GZ. This turned out to be 170m into a pine plantation! Surprised I couldn't imagine a speleological feature being in there, so I had to rethink. I checked my numbers and found that I didn't know how to add 4 to xx. [B)]Red Face I fixed that error, and found that I was on my way to GZ anyway, so it hadn't cost me anything. I found the cache at 1945. I decided to leave some TBs here in hopes that they will attract some more visitors. I haven't done an UdderChaos cache yet that I didn't like, and this one was no exception. Thanks to UdderChaos for the cache. Cheers, dak.

15:25 local time..
Found the cache, but had to use the hint. Our first find of a cache by udderchaos. Took toy lizard. Left 3 toy animals, also left Jaws, a TB in the cache. Thanks for this. The kids had fun sightseeing these locations, after being a bit scared by the thought of it all. Oh yeah, i also got stung by nettles, but found bracken nearby.

SmileYee-HaaSmile, at last....

Found this with a little help from Beaker, as I am sure we searched every concivable hiding spot in that area. Unbelivable how easy this is to find when you know where it is!

Beaker found out the hard way that stingning nettles are growing in this last location, so shorts are not a very good idea!

Thanks for all the torment with this cache, UdderChaos!

This is logged a day later (hoping "the penny would drop") as got to the final stage and could not find the goods. We must have checked every alcove in the place, but to no avail. Any additional hints to this one?? We are certain this is the right location, but were going insane with where this would be held.

Next stop this morning on our tour of the area. Great for these caches to take us to a place that i don't think that the regular tourist would stop by. The flies are out though and we quickly retreated to the car. Bad luck, the flies followed us in.
you guys should be tour guides!

It was dark. Luckily Mr Beaker was close by. The water looked dark and cold. Too dark for even the flash on my camera. Took bangle and left bronze clip. The structures visited are well worth it. There must be a lot more of these around undiscovered, covered by a few cm of dirt. Maybe a few more wpts can be added in a few 100 years. Oh, watch out for the stinging nettles; Beaker had shorts on so discovered a few before I did.
Thanx Andrew and Leesa.
Clear skies, Astro.

Started this one whilst down in the mount for work, and steadily worked away at it on the drive home.

Great cache, that takes in some interesting sights of the area. I wouldnt have known these caves were here from 30m away!!!

An interesting cache made even more interesting in the company of Darren from idax and Adam and Monica from Beakers Bunch. BB showed us the fun, fun way to get to from point to point even though we thought just the fun way would be about the point when my blood pressure would rise. Quite challenging, felt like we were on a rally. Each location we visited was so interesting and unusual and were rewarded when we crossed the road and went to the locked galvanized door as some cave divers were emerging and were happy to talk to us about their underwater adventure. It was great to be able to get in and walk around the final location - cache found relatively easy. Took lots of photos and three travel bugs which we will send on their way around Adelaide left glitter. Thanks Andrew and Leesa for this great cache.

Found today with I.Dax and Liz and Bruce. We took the fun way to the cache, caught up with some divers, get the cars dirty and generally had a good time. Was great to finally meet Liz and Bruce and to get this cache.
Left several TB's, took nothing.
Thanks Andrew and Lessa.

Found with Liz and Bruce and Beaker's Bunch. Liz and Bruce took me in their car which was a good thing as the geoastra may have had a bit of difficulty following Beaker on his 'fun-fun' way to site 2. I really enjoyed seeing this location - until now, thought all sinkholes in the SE had straight sides. At the third location, it was Bruce who came up trumps and we all got to log another find. Swapped a party whistle for a matchbox car.

Thanks A&L for a truly interesting journey.

Found by Mary & David at 1525. We knew where Stage 1 would be and went straight there when we arrived in town to collect the data. A couple of cave divers were setting up their gear on a bench nearby when we arrived. Having worked out where Stage 2 would be, we realised we could do a few other caches along the way. With those behind us, We collected the info at Stage 2 and worked out the final location. A small slip with entering the details in the GPSr took us on a short detour, but we were soon back on track and arrived at GZ. This is a marvellous cache that showcases the geology of the area. Makes you wonder about the unfound or unexplored caves everywhere else. Perhaps one day the whole South East will collapse? Thankfully today the water was nowhere near where we needed to be. David did manage to disturb a hive of angry bees at one point in the search. They swarmed after him as he retreated to the car park, but after allowing them time to relax he returned to the search and suffered no damage. Don't forget the Aerogard, and be assured the cache is not in an opening behind a clump of grass! Took kangaroo man, left a pack of craft Beadz. Our thanks once more to Andrew & Leesa.

Attempted this cache on the way to the SA Fourth Festive Frolic Weekend that's being held on the Queens Birthday long weekend.

We know where it is, but the water level in the cave was a little higher than anticipated - no doubt due to the recent rains, & we couldn't retrieve the cache without getting wet.

Better luck next time.

WE had a great time with this and found the final hiding palce only by having the courage to stick my hand in a hole.
[thanks for a good time]

This is a must do cache.
Started the first Stage on Sunday and finished it off on our way home
we thought we had the wrong co-ords when we arrived at Stage 2, What water!! then we drove closer to the sign and bingo it was there. reading the hint at stage 3 helped a lot. Didn't know there where so many caves and water holes down the south east.

Took nothing and left Kangaroo

Thanks again Andrew & Leesa

I have driven up and down the the road where the final location is and didn't realise this site was here. We didn't have any trouble finding each site but enjoyed the drive
Took a hair clip and bracelet
Left rubber lizzard and fluffy dog

Thanks

A great Multi..Took us to places that we would never had known were there.I didnt need to worry about my little girl walking near the edges as she slept for the last two parts of the Multi.
Really enjoyed it but one word of warning for others is dont sit down to fill in the log book as I got stung like nothing..must of been some type of stinging nettle!!!.
Thanks Andrew and Leesa...must be my turn to put one in.
