Sadly this cache has been muggled and due to the fact that chickens haven't been dumped in this area for over five years it is time to go
Locator kept jumping around so we would be within 1 m and then it would flick to 5 m

Little difficult to find. Got covered in tree and bugs but was exciting when we found it. First one team alpha found
Out and about with the younger Future Finder this afternoon. After a play in the nearby playground we went to look for the cache. The GPSr is on the blink with a frozen screen; it was fine yesterday. As such, I checked the cache page with aid of my phone. Got the hint and that ended up being all we needed as we found in in the first spot we checked. Hide is nearly ten years old; thanks for keeping it going. Cheers for the cache placement!
Noticed cache straight away from distance but discounted at 1st. Believed it was a bit of urban rubbish alongside 2 large empty bottles of Vodka which were out in the open. Searched around a little then looked at clue which brought us back to the Vodka bottles and plastic container. Re-hid cache out of site in a better location than we found whilst still being true to the hint. Vodka bottles moved to nearest bin. So much for a liquor ban area..... TFTC
With nz_welshy. Bit difficult to find the right bush and bridge but our little helper was then quick to find it.
Looked around the wrong bridge first, easy to find when we got the right bridge!
Quick find once we had the right bridge. Found with tillygeorge13. TFTC.

The paint is coming off. And it's the big bridge over the water, not the little one going over land.
Found with Alligatorsnz..took a little while as there seemed to be gz like things everywhere. Gps was a bit wild but with some detective work we got there! Thanks
grrr all that time ago, we where so close... Took time and the help of a secret "monsta tool" to discover the past proximity.. Glad for that as the gps was again useless dancing all around, with the ducks laughing at the dumb human. TB out
I would like to say a nice quick find but our GPS was bouncing horribly.
Found it. Nice and clean inside.
Find #526. Thanks for the cache. 16/06/2014 14:40

After a picnic in the park, we had a go at the rope and the slide (it's never too late for being a kid), then went for the cache. Very nice place that is. The ducks seem to enjoy it as well . Thanks for the cache, it made us explore the park further.
This is almost our last day in New Zealand. After being in Aukland for the morning, we stop in this park for a quick lunch. We see over there some other people playing an other game... But geocaching is still our best ! So, we go for this cache after playing a bt on the tobggan !
We found this one quickly, and we dropped off our new TB, which wants to go back home in France !
Thanks for the cache in this beautiful park !

Unfortunately the camo has rubbed off the container and it is a bit too easy to see! We added some bracken to cover it, but it is still a bit obvious.
Found while out on a stroll with Mrs Gibsons' parents. A lovely autumn afternoon!
Dropped off trackable.

Yep! Here on a drizzly day. There is one chicken / rooster nearby. As the previous post, found using other logs and the clue. Thanks for bringing me here. Yay! Oh, no TBs here.
Coordinates out but found using other logs + hint. All nice and dry. First time to this spot. Never knew it existed! Thanks for bringing us here
Took a few minutes for Osteoboss and I to figure it out but when we found the right spot it all became clear. TFTC!
Found it after working out which bridge. Also had to recharge ph in middle of search
Went for a look for this one while waiting for dinner - needed the other logs to help but got there in the end.

Nice sized container. Playground is popular with the kids after visiting the library. Would never have found without the clarification on the co-ordinates though. Tftc.
Great little park and bridge. Had a bit of trouble locating the correct spot but when i did the clue made perfect sense.
Out getting a few caches with Reveurs. We had looked for this one in the past and not been able to find it. Learning that it was about 15 metres away from the posted co-ordinates, we had a very quick find this time. Please update the co-ordinates. TFTC.
Out and about in Albany for some fresh air and caching with Lycurgon.
Co-Ordinates about 15m out but thanks to a hint from a previous finder we got it, TFTC

*Found with PrincessDiala whilst trekking about New Zealand on the way to NZ Mega*
Very interesting story with this park, we decided to go for a bit of a wander seeing as we were staying at the quest apartments.
I looked around the area where the cache was hidden with no luck, PrincessDiala had another look and found the cache, just before we were about to give up

Not sure if I found the right location. Went off hints given in other logs. Couldn't find anything like a post at co-ords. Didn't want to scramble down bank in case I couldn't get back up! If it is down the bank under where I thought it might be, I wonder if the terrain on this shouldbe morethan a 1? Also too many muggles about. Came across two huge lovely looking great dane dogs.
Catching the last couple before heading off. Corrected the date//

(Not so) quickly found on a lovely long walk ater lunch - Day 2 of the Mega.
Coords off, and after a bit of frustration used previous logs, and a widening of search area to make the find. Makes perfect sense once you realise there's more than one hint object.
TFTC!

#800 Had quite a lot of trouble finding this one until I read the logs and realised that the co-ords were off. Took a different approach and then the hint made sense. Neat little park! TFTC!
Brought the whole team here for some R&R after completing the Lab Caches, Geo-Rogaine, and Geo-Orienteering challenges at the Mega Event. I could now see what was not visible in the dark, namely, another bridge 15m away from the cache co-ordinates (due South). Miss Jacksonz quickly had the cache in hand. Co-ordinates definitely need adjusting.
However, it did bring the rest of the family to this great park area where we had great fun playing on the ship's flying fox and triple-width slide. Thanks for the cache.

GPS was not playing nice for this one. Walked around for a bit and then stopped for a rest at which time we spotted the cache.

This is a wonderful park. We were getting so confused and were looking on the wrong level. GZ for us was 11m away.
Hunted around then checked logs & found coords are out quite a bit.TFTC. Lovely park & lake
I had a great time hanging out in Albany grabbing caches with a plethora of cachers this weekend! I had the pleasure of caching with cachers from three different countries and enjoyed chatting with them in the process! Thank you for the cache!

("\(0o0)/") No luck today, we will have to come back another time.
First DNF of the trip and the closest cache to where we are staying, hopefully it isn't a trend...
However with so many people around today we didn't have a super hard look so we only have ourselves to blame.

Day 2 of Woody & Papa's Mega Adventure. After stopping back at Mega HQ we decided to try one of these new fangled Lab caches. This took some finding. After crawling all over one bridge decided to consult previous logs. This proved most helpful as once at the new coordinates it was found within a couple of seconds. Signed log and then adjourned to nearby establishment for a couple of well earned lemonades. Salamat!
A bit of a mission at first, in and under the bridge, up and around the posts. Until Guwapo called a halt and browsed the previous logs. Too sensible by far! Had it found quick fast.
As we'd worked up a thirst we adjourned to the local. For lemonade?? I don't think so!

This is an older hide. It has lasted well. Nice park with an intricate set of walkways and steps. I could have easily looked in all the wrong places but thankfully the GPS took me straight to it today. Here visiting because of the NZ Mega.

Found with Edvern and bkj97 while at the mega event. I was the only live chicken in the park today. T4TCSL
We met up with a few fellow geocachers from back home (Australia), and went to the nearby pie shop for a bite to eat and chat. We checked our gps's and noticed a cache pretty much right behind us
We all headed off across the park and noticed many other geocachers lurking nearby and the muggles were just looking at everyone with wierd looks on their faces as we trodged off like soldiers lol. We arrived at GZ and all had a bit of a scout around and found nothing. We then widened our search and found the cache some metres from where we were looking. While signng the log we met a few other cachers there aswell. Lovely little spot BenMc thanks for bringing us here

After downing a pie at the nearby shop we wandered over to get this cache.
Some picnickers wondered what was up as filed past in a conga line
with things in our hands. Gibbering away we arrived at GZ which
was free of muggles, so we searched. Not having much luck.
Widened the search and it was eventually found. I was way off.

#4816 We had just registered at the Mega Event and decided it was time to get out and explore some more of Auckland via caching. This was the first cache that was found before heading further afield. There are some lovely parks around Auckland, our thanks to BenMc for highlighting this area. It is wonderful to see an aged cache still going strong after all this time . Cheers from Australia [^]
Found during fozzmiester's MEGA 2013 road trip.
A quick and easy find in a nice spot. TFTC

A stop for lunch, and another find. Love the many coloured ducks swimming around here .
Took a group of us a while, until someone read previous logs and we changed where we were looking. Soon found. Beautiful location. TFTC
This was a group effort, we eventually meandered in the right direction, and Kerrie found it quite easily. Thanks for the cache.
With dean-crew, Mr_Roo and a couple of other cachers, this one had us stumped. We then checked the logs and found that the co-ords are a bit off. We went further down the path and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC! NINO.
Out collecting a few caches while in town for the MEGA MEGA This one made it to the smilies list - and nice to find an area we were completely unaware of TFTC Cheers Fleur
Found with a group of cachers .....we struggled for a while ,,,,hadn't realised co-ords about 12 m out .....then finally someone widened the search and it was found !
Spent my regulation 10 minutes here. Time is too fleeting and there are so many other caches to seek. Found hint to be confusing and according to previous logs, the coords are not good.
Awesome Mega Day collecting all the smileys around the venue in company of a great team. Searched for quite some time around GZ of the 5 GPSs but no luck. Consulting the hint we made the find some meters off. TFTC
Found during the Mega...impossible to move around here without bumping into another cacher. I never figured that there could be some may. Coords a bit out, but enough cachers in the area for a quick find. Cheers for the cache.
Found caching with alpenmilch80, mike-miss and stretch.kerr on the first day on the NZ Mega.
Took some searching because of some combination of the coordinates being off and some cache creep having occurred.
Thanks!

Went and searched the wrong bridge first. With about five different people tho searching it was finally spotted tftc
Coords were a fair bit out for us, but the clue was spot on, if you use the lower bridge that seems further away from the published coords.
Foudn with a big group of other cachers. Luckily there was a few of us as it could have taken awhile otherwise
In the vicinity finding the lab caches and found this park...lovely spot which we haven't visited before. did have a wee bit of trouble finding but got there eventually. Dropped off a LEGO TB couple to travel with someone else. TFTC
Coords are out for this one but we still found it with a well detailed hint. Found during a mega days caching with slieschke, stretch.kerr and alpenmilch80. TFTC!
I was caching a wee way from the Mega so as not to trip over too many other cachers. Found myslef in this park and had this cahce quickly in hand. TFTC
Been trying to catch up on way old caches for ages. TFTC's everyone your cache hides are certainly appreciated and Happy Caching to you ALL!!

Found on second try. Must have been getting tired after a day of geocaching to exhaustion. Couldn't find things described in my first look. When eventually found the coordinates were quite a bit out. So many different levels and structures around here! A place worth visiting, perhaps the hint could be more specific.
Staying nearby for the mega we went for a walk after checking in to explore our surroundings. Lovely park, and plenty of ducks and geese around. No one else around either so it made for a nice easy find.
Much easier to find today than when we started to look for it last night. Even easier when it is in a fellow cacher's hands. Picked up Lego TB duo and left Old Bots TB.
