Logs
Arrived today from the Northern Island to attend Geo Toroa (Mega), as a group consisting of myself, HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, keylev, NZ Travellers, and of course it would be rude to not locate caches as we left the airport heading into our accommodation in Dunedin.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space and on our way to the next hide.TFTC.
We are in Dunedin this weekend for the Mega with Stik-a-Crane, UncleSam, KeyLev, and NZTravellers. We have signed all logs as team SEAC to save space, especially as we know this weekend will be busy for all caches. We have landed, picked up the cars and the plane geoart and any other trads, multis, or puzzles we have solved are the targets for the day. We have had an amazing time and had very few DNF's for a very successful day with lots of laughs and memories made. TFTC
After completing the aeroplane series it was time to branch out and find some others 'on the way' into Dunedin. Thanks for the cache. Signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew)
Team SEAC consisting of HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, UncleSam, Keylev and ourselves headed to Dunedin for the 2024 MEGA!All logs were signed as SEAC to save paper (except where specific signing requirements were requested)Thanks to all the CO's who had maintained the caches as we found a majority with fresh paper and containers!TFTC
Here for a fun weekend with friends from Auckland to attend the 2024 Mega. All logs signed SEAC as a group. Very sorry for the generic plain logs. Thanks to all cache owners for placing the caches.
Found today on my way through to Dunedin for a chance to visit my grandies and also play some cards. Thanks dossman for the cache.
Great to see the new stone wall built across the road. TFTC; I added a new log sheet on waterproof paper.
Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

On my way to Oamaru getting some caches for a challenge. All good with the cache. Thanks
Second find of our school holiday wet weather cache grab. Kids found a dead hedgehog too. Thanks
We have come to Dunedin this weekend for our daughter's graduation. Unfortunately the ceremonies have been cancelled due to a terrorist threat. We are still making the best of our time here. I had to head to the airport to pick up our other daughter who was flying down from Auckland to celebrate with us. I found a few caches along the way. Nice one! Thanks for keeping this one alive for so long. TFTC, Biggles.
Low cloud and rain in the city - what better day to get out and do some caching! Driving further out, and the weather improved somewhat. Not a great view of the Taieri Plains, still misty, but lovely spot. Cache was quickly in hand.
Second attempt at this one and it was an easy find this time. Certainly wasn’t there last time. Thanks for replacing it.
Out for a couple of hours with Frame Family. It’s been a while since we’ve had time to get out together. A pleasant morning to be out too.
We went past this one a couple of years ago and had a good hunt. No trouble today. Tftc

*Winter time dots are thin on the ground for June soon to be rectified with an annual caching trip and another push over the border ploughing new and old fields in the Strath Taieri of it's green dots turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' tableau*. I am wery familiar driving around Saddle Hill from a previous life visiting the outlaw old crone we outlived last century in town and visiting a new Oma this century in Dunnas. Once taking my Mom to the lookout and caching the road down to Brighton last year. Nearly a year since I first searched for this cache and nothing was found on the return visit. I had popped a mint tin in the hide on the wee ledge. *I couldn't believe the mint tin could not be found when it was placed at 5am that morning of replacement. I'm logging my smiley regardless and anyone else willing to attempt have grabbed their smilie already.* There for as long as it lasts. tftc
DNF. The cache is either not there, or not within reach. Knowing full well what to look for, knowing full well what nooks there are in these structures, I took a very thorough look all around and came up with precisely nothing. I'd come to the conclusion that it's long gone.
After a bit of the day it was great to head out this evening, enjoy the lovely weather and get some caches. Working slowly towards my 2000 for news years (last years resolution - might make it).
Thanks for the cache which was in good condition.

Out doing driving lessons this afternoon and thought it would be pleasant to do this road. Great views! TFTC
On a mission for #2000. Out with KJR. I'm a back seat cacher today with a leg in a brace while k does all the finding. Quick find tftc
A quick park and grab on way home from a days racing at beachland speed way. TFTC
Dodged the school kids, and was under the watchful eye of the bus driver as I dug around for the cache
I have set myself a mission to find 5 diverse and 20 caches in total before I have to be back in Balclutha to pick the kids up from school at 1500. This is find number 09 on my attempt. An excellent cache to finish off this run over the hill. It was a nice park and grab with a fantastic view down towards the town. The road was traffic free so I signed, grabbed a couple of photos and was away again. Log book nice and dry with plenty of room. Thanks for the cache, R-H
Today I have been granted a caching day by my lovely wife. (I’ll pay for it later I’m sure) so T-R-B and Roaming - Hayward will be completing 20 in a day and hopefully 5 diverse.
This is find number 09/20. A nice little cache with room to park. This one has been around for a while and its good to see tis being well maintained. Some nice views to go with it. Logbook is nice and dry with plenty of room. Logbook signed and the photo taken.
Thanks for the cache. T-R-B

Quick find on way over Saddle hill down to Dunners. Great views of the Taieri.
This one has survived almost 10 years. Hopefully it will last another 10 with no problems.
#1214 Last one on this circuit we were driving today - Jaguar13 had some difficulty getting it out. TFTC
Had a hard job getting this one out... used a stick. It has had a visit from non-caches recently who signed it as such - kids I think. All in good order. Last on this wee road trip with Bokhara8. TFTC
