Logs
Travelling with richlink as part of our Caravan Geocaching Trip. It's moving day today, a big move... Narracoorte to Penol. Touring the area or using geocaching as our guide. Th cache was on the ground and full of water, but the log was still there. A new container and remove the rubbish and all good again. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA. This is our kind of caching - back country roads. Windy arvo and hardy any traffic. Maintenance done. Thanks FreddoLNCU
The container has become a haven for ants. Considered swapping it out, but I imagine the same thing would happen to the new container. Plus I wouldn’t want to put the old one in my car! lovely spot, enjoying the serenity and the bird warbling. Thank you, Freddo; cache #4175.
Was going to head North East to the South East of Queen's Landing this weekend, but a while ago had a premonition... which came true so we booked the South East of SA instead
Lots to do down this way, and good weather for it too.
Knew a girl called Joanna, from Keith.
Could it be her place?
No way, I'm hangin round till Gum leaves.
Big thanks to Freddo for placing and maintaining this heaps good cache
"A cache a day keeps the doctor away" - teaming up with Purrfect Di and Jack should do it ! ! !
------------
- - Search at a good social distance whenever you can - or at least with nice clean friends - -
Things are slowly getting back to whatever normal might be - take it carefully!
Catching covid or gastro or anything really would mess up your streaks and challenges!
Keep away from all the nasty bugs ( except nice travel bugs of course )
[|)] - 2, 4, 6, 8,,, let's all go and vaccinate, one day when it's available lol !
[|)] - keep away from crowds as much as you can, they spread the nasty bugs! [:o)]
[|)] - go out and find or place some new caches in our safe country areas away from the red zones
Life's good. Enjoy ! ! ! Just do it

Took a bit of a detour to get here, but if we would have left this one, it would have stood out on our map like a pimple on your forehead .
Found just before it started to drizzle with rain . TNLNSL.
Your valley was very green today .
Thanks Freddo.

Sittin' at home last Sunday mornin' me mate Boomerrang. Said he was havin' a few people around for a barbie, said he might Kookaburra or two.
I said, "Sounds great, will Wallaby there?" He said "Yeah and Vegemite come too".
Found with earthlight and The X-Trailers after a weekend of eventing & caching around the SE. Making our way to Sherlock... via unfound caches of course
We found this cache... thankyou for placing and maintaining this cache

On a beautiful Spring day we decided to head to Coonawarra and Struan via Penola. We enjoyed a mid morning cuppa at Coonawarra and cooked a sausage sizzle at Bool Lagoon.
Many thanks for the hide Freddo

Out on the back roads I found myself here, didn’t find the cache where I thought I would. Cache is all good
Today I started out at cockatoo lake after camping there for the evening before making my way to Mt gambier today cleaning up as many caches as I could along the way. A solid day with the weather in mint condition which is unusual for the south east. 85 finds for the day and 5 labs.
Thanks for the cache

Day 337 ( Thursday 30th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Penola today. A total of 5 for the day and 6377 the trip. TFTC
We love the humor in the cache notes, a clever use of the English language. The cache is dry but the container needs to be replaced. Unfortunately we only had tiny containers with us today. SL TFTC
A cool find of a dirt road among the vineyards. A box full of little goodies. Kids loved having a little play before we tucked it back in its spot.
Thanks for the adventure!
Thanks for the adventure!
Today was my final day during a weekend in Mount Gambier and its surrounds. My scuba diving was canceled for the day, so rather than head back to Adelaide early, I did some geocaching targeting some of the longer unfound caches, and a few in the region that I needed for my Jasmine grid. After some maintenance to some existing caches, I headed south to Lake Bonney and visit Carpenter Rocks, Pelican Point, and Blackfellows Caves. It was then back on to Millicent and cut through the area towards Penola collecting geocaches along those hills and roads. Finally, some driving around the backroads off Naracoorte to visit Joanna to collect some early hidden caches.
One of two geocaches of the same hidden month of 06/2005 that I needed to help populate my jasmine grid (with the other being the nearby Typoglycemia), also hidden by [@Freddo](http://coord.info/PR8C14). This container may need a rethink, as there was a little water inside, and the logbook was damp. I did my best at emptying the water out and leaving a little better than what I found it in. Cheers [@Freddo](http://coord.info/PR8C14)!

After the geocaching event in Penola today, Mr Tardis went for a quick trip around the area to find some more caches.
It is impressive that after 14 years this cache still has the original container and log book. Must be a good muggle-proof location.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Freddo.

I think, it’s taking me longer to write this log, than it did to find the cache. Which makes it, just my sort of cache! Thanks so much for placing this cache Freddo
We wanted to go with Anna but we had to move along as there were 2 muggles hanging around the grape vines not 50 metres away. A nice Sunday drive (even though it’s Monday) down the road and back again saw the Farmers gone , leaving the coast clear for introductions to Anna.
Thanks Freddo for the placement.
Thanks Freddo for the placement.
Suscoe had a big day out from Mt Gambier to Naracoorte and back again.
The day was cool to mild with plenty of cloud.
Just perfect for caching in pleasant conditions.
We appreciated the countryside as we went from pines to grazing country then to vines and grazing again.
Thanks to Freddo for this hide.
Found and signed.
A quiet area here.

day 3 on the road and staying in the black cockatoo bush camp. found after doing the beginners caving tour.
The valley was green today.
We went to that party....
Pretty soon Ayers Rocks in and things really started jumpin'.
Well just then Warra came out of the kitchen with a few drinks for everybody. Fairdinkum, you've never seen a Coolabah maid. I grabbed a beer and said, "Thanks Warra-tah".
One cheeky young steer couldn't make up his mind which side of the road he wanted to be on but after a slow drive by we were back on our way to the cache. Found it very exposed but very dry and in good condition, this one has had a long time between finds.
Tucked the cache away with a bit more protection after marking the log and off we went.
Thanks Freddo for the cache.

It was tougher than anticipated with the lush long grass and the mozzie breeding ground wanting to feed their spawn off my drying flesh. Left GeoSweets (wife & daughter) in the car. Picked up trackable
Found with Team MKM on a sunny day. All is green wet and lush.

I thought I was in the middle of nowhere for work, checking out some grapes at a vineyard I was sampling from, and lo and behold there is a Freddo cache nearby!!! Reminded me of the "I've been everywhere" song, except it should be "Freddo's been everywhere, man".
I love that Austen Tayshus track. It always seems to be on the comedy channel on Qantas inflight radio and still makes me giggle. "Well just then Warra comes out of the kitchen with a few drinks for everybody. Fairdinkum, you've never seen a Coolabah maid. I grabbed a beer and said, "Thanks Warra - tah""
Tah for the cache as well Freddo!

Our last cache before leaving the Croweaters, I haven't heard those puns for long time. They drive my Wom bats. It was 5:50pm and Eclips_ok says even a drong has to go. Hoo Roo Freddo.
Another one that took much longer than It should ave, At least it didn't take too long! Thanks for the hide Freddo.
Being from this particular rural city in North East Victoria, my favourite reference in Australiana was "he waved his Wangaratta" . Deano was cool in a crisis here, he is the master.
