The ride out was good but a bit harder on the way back. Nice spot. Left grasshopper I found in Gosford last week.
I've been putting off this cache for way too long, today was as good as any to have a go and so I parked at the recommended coords and legged it along the track then found a goat track of sorts that headed round to the cache.
I went down to the waters edge and considered (in true Tangles fashion) nuding up for a quick dip and straight dash to GZ via the river, but a lack of good places with shoreline to leave my stuff and a few others carrying out bush regeneration just up stream a little were enough for me to think better of it.
So an extra walk was required but it was easily done once the said track was rediscovered.
Found the cache OK but made no swaps, logged my find and returned the Ammobox to it's hidey hole, I'm starting to run low on Tangles caches now so I'll have to leave the rest for a while till next I get withdrawl symptoms from Tangles caches
Thanks for bringing me here Nice work as expected great beach too Cheers

Attempted this one as our third cache find. We appear to have got off track a little. The GPS went all over the place and my battery was running low so we had to give up on this one. Might give it a go again in a few weeks.
Nice little walk down to a even nicer location will have to come back when the weather is hotter and take a dip. TNLN
WARNING do not attempt this on dark gloomy nights without a torch!! did find. great location finally got the clue haha
went for a walk today and got this it has been on my home page just wanting me to go get it got down to gz and if there was a track down i didn't find it in or out.
down at gz gps started to go all wired and pointing over there then over there but i seen the place that was going to be the best place to look and BINGO there it was.
nice spot down there
took nothing
left nothing
tftc
thanks tangles

I deployed my geocycle for a quick blat down the hill. I then stashed it in the bush and went to GZ where an easy find was made. The ride back up the hill took a little longer than the ride down.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Thanks for sharing this special place with us Tangles. We had a nice easy walk in and a great time searching for cache.
Early afternoon and it was getting quite warm indeed! After a very hot and sweaty morning’s caching we were very keen to do this cache so we could chuck ourselves into the nearby river. After parking at the recommended spot we wended our way down the track. Even when the path becomes a touch vague towards the end it is still quite obvious where to go. Once the GPS had settled down the cache was in hand – nice hide!
Being so warm we wasted no time in taking our longed for swim at this secluded and pleasant location. Surprisingly on a day like this we had it to ourselves. We made no swaps here but dropped off a travel bug. Thanks Tangles for showing us this spot – we were very grateful for the swim.

4:54pm
Our final cache for the afternoon, wanted to do riverview but ran out of time. What a beautiful spot to come at this time of the day, though, the fading light sure made it interesting to search without a torch. But find it the boy did without too much trouble.
Swapped out a padlock for a whistling key finder. Wandered down to checkout the pool, really nice and still. The walk out was not as bad as I expected at all.
Cheers

took the mtb's and one if the geo kids.must of hit light speed on the hill down to the cache.very pretty area and secluded.just love it.
5:30pm. It was just on dark so there was not a soul around. The only sounds were the crickets and the panting of my co-pilot as she sniffed around the rocks.
There's some pretty impressive wood work on the way in. Must better quality than the characters put up around here (see: "North Shore" geocache).
I still wouldn't want to take my MTB over that lot.
As I was replacing the cache a rock glanced off my forehead and onto my hand. No serious damage though - it was only my head.
I took a totally different way out and had to do a bit of night navigation. Fortunately I had the co-ords of the car plugged in.
TNLN. The contents were above the quality of what I had to swap.
Thanks for showing me this nice spot.

Hi Tangles,
Took the long route from my place to Nugae by MTB, used the fire trails along the Georges, didnt see (or hear) any trailbikes, saw 3 greys and a flock of black cockatoos flew overhead, magic!
Took the Jim bean trail down, but walked most of it (its out of my league) left the bike 140 from GZ and walked, great spot, easy find, and the water was very enticing, so a La Philma, i took the plunge, a little cooler than expected, but just perfect.
The nugae were a little thin on the ground so i signed the log, left a multi tool and took nothing.
Now to carry the bike out.....
Thanks Tangles for great spot.

Thanks again Tangles,
As always a good cache, a good spot, and a good hide.
There was however no travel bug in the cache????
Appreciate the name on this one now. GeoSon got "Nugaed" on the way out.
Took mini compass and left Moon Buggy and Monster finger puppet.

Re: Travel Bugs
From what I can work out after reading the logbook and the TB pages is;
Team Red Dwarf left Misery Goat and took Certik according to the logbook. Certik has not been logged but Misery Goat was logged by Dino Team on the TB page.
Later the TB that was left in the cache, Misery Goat was picked up by Grissom who has not logged it or his visit to the cache. According to the logbook he was taking the TB to Queensland, I think?
It would be really nice if the people who have the TBs could log them to save this type of confusion.

The day was hot stinking hot, found "Nugae" after a little searching. The area looked great, nice beach with a beautiful swimming hole and no one around, I never had my swimmers so what the heck, off with the gear and in I went. Thanks Tangles for showing me this magic part of the Woronora River. Regards Philma.
This is a nice spot, if only we had more time and some swimers we would have taken a dip. thanks for showing us this spot.
Took Lantan
Left LUDO game

Gate 1 = check, gate 2 = check and yahoo we drove to just above GZ. Followed the track down to this cool little watering hole. A nice spot to camp and wet the toes, pity neither was on our plan for today.
TNLN except and exchange of TB's. Thanks Tangles for showing this top spot.

Just got back from a nice walk and lovley swim. Will definitley go back to the beach.
Dropped off a TB.
Walked in using the secret mountain bikers track, known as the Jim Beam trail to some locals (you'll know why if you find it). If you like north shore style MTB riding then this is the place for you, I could not believe how much stuff has been built in the bush around here. Start about here and follow the yellow brick road: S 34 04.810 E 150 51.700.
Exercise caution at the cache as a bull ant colony has moved into the area and I received several bites to my legs as I was getting and putting the cache back.

great spot, will have to go back in summer for a swim. Didnt use a GPS for this just a topo and compass, unfortunately had the cache plotted on the wrong side of the creek initially! lovely walk in.
First of three caches today, a nice little walk down to the river and a very good swimmig spot. TNLN
I took the family for an afternoon walk to enjoy the “secret beachâ€. This is a great swimming location and we will be back when it is a little warmer to enjoy this beautiful location. The cache was located quickly after the enjoyable walk in. We had to leave the trail on a few occasions to avoid being flattened by high speed Moto-X bikes. Some of these were on the walking trail from the published parking location (before we reached the fire trail), so intending finders please take care.
As usual, the cache was well stocked and in a great location.
Took kids purse,
Left Lockwood padlock.
Thanks Tangles.

Found it just where it was supposed to be. Nice hide Tangles. Although I have lived in the area for many years this is my first visit to this part of the territory. Some nice swaps inside but I did not swap.
This is a nice spot for a cache. It is a friendly walk which culminates in a great location, ideal for the summer.
Finding the cache wasn’t too hard, but in a time of drought we also found the rain. Pi being the practiced walker decided that it would be too unprofessional to walk in the rain, and so opted to sit under a small rocky overhang.
A word of warning; if in an enclosed space, Pi requires no invite, but as is said ‘better out than in’.

Found by Pi and XU9J4.
I have been scouting locations along this part of the river on and off for the last couple of months and as yet hadn't made my way down that particular track. Oh well you found this spot first (such is life) and what a good spot it is. I don't know how big a secret this spot is as I have a vague memory of discussing this area with a friend who walks around here regularly.
We found the cache easily just as it started raining. Did the cache stuff and then spent several minutes getting everything back in. This is a well stocked and tightly packed cache. The rain got heavier but was blowing over so we decided to wait it out under a small rock overhang nearby. Well this is when the fun started, lets just say finding ways to pass the time quickly deteriorated to the schoolboy level. Luckily XU9J4 had a selection of classic aussie mp3s on his phone to keep us entertained. The rain eased and we headed out via a different route.
Tangles, I hope you don't mind if I add some track notes as well. I highly recommend doing this one on an MTB. These co-ords, S34 04.597 E150 50.987, will take you to a gate. This fire trail intersects the one in the cache description, follow the GPSr. On the way out if you want to do some exploring nearly all the other fire trails heading away from the cache lead back to Tangles suggested parking spot, use those coordinates as the exit point and you should have an enjoyable ride. Also, you could park at the start of another cache in this area that is perfect for an MTB (hint) and use that as a starting point for both caches.

Thanks,
Mike (Pi).

Found it with Zactyl at 2.05pm. Nice walk down to the beach through the bush with only the relentless drone of Trail-Bikes to shatter the tranquility. Another quality Tangles cache. Swapped Plan 9 DVD for a Shrek video and had a bit of trouble fitting the remaining swaps in. Nice beach but the water looks pretty shallow.
Yoink! Nice walk in and an easy find. Great cache contents, but didn't bring swaps. Quite an impressive beach you found Tangles! Would have gone for a dip if it was a bit earlier in the day.
