Tried again. Fail. Found green cord might have been tied to! Bitsprayer to check or archive. Leaving Twizel, won't look for this one again.
We will have to join the ranks of those who couldn’t find this one. Had a good search and shifted a lot of pine needles to no avail.
I'll be back. Needle in a haystack scenario, or rather, a stash in a needle pack!
This one was tricky! So many pine trees and a blanket of pine needles all over the ground. Spent 30mins searching and no such luck
We looked for ages and ages but in the end, we had to give up. We used all the hints and the description but just couldn't find it.

Took a bit of searching in the dark but eventually found when we were almost ready to give up.
TFTC, spent a wee while going round in circles in the dark, in the end the coordinates were bang on. Another beautiful place to holiday 
Well back in Denmark again after my fourth visit to New Zealand. Luckily I also had time to go geocaching down under, and now it is time to long all my finds.

Passed some lovely picnic areas on the way in to here. I thought this was going to be a bit of a mission among the trees and needles but I stopped and looked around and there was the cache at my feet. Can't get better than that. TFTC # 12,554
This placebrings back memories as both kids rowed for school and later senior club. Always very intense and a matter of winning or losing can be one wrong stroke. All good here. Thanks for the cache Bitsprayer
My wife and kids used to row so they have spent some time at this great amenity ..a first for me so thanks for the cache bitsprayer
Was under a pine tree covered in dried pine needles and it has a big rock on top of it

After finding a place on a camp ground I walked a little bit near of that place. This was the nearest cache.

Found it yay! Unlike the description you have to dig a bit. But a lovely place to take the family on a fine afternoon. Esp in Summer!

Logging a few Twizel Geocaches that I visited three years ago with two caching friends!
Completely forgot where this one was placed. A thorough search revealed nought. Two fellow cachers made a welcome appearance and proceeded to locate.
Will claim it as "Found it" in the hands of another. All good with this one…

It was interesting driving around here today. No rowing on but we did see a few people around with rowing tops on and when asked they said the competitions were starting tomorrow. TFTC
No rowing today and with the wind it is no surprise. The cache nearly got the better of us, it wasn't easy to find. Thank goodness for whiskasnz's nana, she found the cache. TFTC
This one had us stumped for a while. The GPS didn't like being under the trees and there were hundreds of hint objects to look at. Finally just as the geonana was walking back to the car she spotted something a little out of place. Yay we finally found the cache. Thanks for bringing us to this spot.
Number 2 of 3 for this afternoon. There was a bit of eeny-meenie-miney-mo happening.

Great fun! My dad and I came down to see if we could find this geocache! We are here for the maadi cup 2016!
It is the beginning of the evening, but it is not yet dark, just fine for the search of a cache! The box is easily found with the hint. It is maybe a regular size instead of small.

During the trip to New Zealand, I could see and visit many places, lot of them are very nice and sometime amazing. And there is always a geocache nearby! I could find some caches every day. New Zealand is a nice country for vacation and for geocaching !
