Checked it out and it has gone.
Given that lots of logs mention things they shouldn't have, coupled with the fact that the stonework has been fairly well trashed, I am going to archive this cache.
Thanks to those that played the game properly.

Stopped to do this one with no luck so continued to do the other two in town and came back. Found one film container on the west side with 'Try Again' and part of a film container on the east side. Eventually conceded defeat. Will watch this one.
Hi Swampy
Well, didn't this cache become a ripper!!
I had looked for it on two previous occassions on the way north, but time was a factor, and rushed cache findings revealed nothing. So I looked in a similar feature at the other end of town too!! Obviously no luck there either!! Dah! Dah! Dah! I wasn't going to "move any rocks" - hence cache blindness on those two occassions....
However, today required a trip to Oatlands - an early start and a good amount of time to cache hunt prior to an appointment.
Next door to one of my favourite spots in this town, searched north, south, east and west; still not "moving any rocks" my patience was starting to wear thin. On one side I looked again and voila a "Sorry, try again" note; (some times I enjoy Swampy's caches). Other side a brocken container with no lid and no note.
Thoughts rush through the head - just my luck, finally find the little b...... and the vital paper work is gone!!! Contact Swampy, ask if I can replace the necessary log and claim a find? He was hesitant and I don't blame him as cache blindness had plagued me with this one. "Give it another go" says the voice at the other end "then if no luck do as you've requested and I'll perform maintenance later."
Another look for said cache and five seconds after the phone call the true cache was in hand!!! I finally signed the log at 0929hrs and reported that all was well with the cache to the fiendish, rascally owner of the cache who was kind enough to thank me for the cache report.
Time to head to the appointment!
Thanks for the cache Swampy, the fun I had trying to work out the puzzle and more so when I tried to find the well hidden cache,
Cheers, OldSaint.

Over the four years I've been caching, I've been very reluctant to stop by here for a look, especially when travelling with family, for fear of damaging the feature, but today I decided to take a look. I had a good look around the feature before touching any rocks, and was pleased to find the cache fairly quickly on my second pass, and without have to move any structural rocks.
TFTC, took a bit of searching but rewarded in the end. Easy parking with caravan in tow.
We were on our way home and didnt really want to stop for a puzzle....just a little look, maybe! Found one decoy, TFTGreatC
Found on the way to Hobart. GZ was easy to find but where to start searching was another matter. Found the cache 1st go. TFTC
Found it in the first spot we looked.
After reading the other logs (AFTER we found it) we felt a little cheated that we didn't score any "look agains"(no - not really!)

Only two hundred rocks you reckon? I'm sure I looked under, over, between, and around many more than that. And even then I can't have looked everywhere as I only got one 'try again' before finding the real thing. Good one, Swampy. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found this one easily as well as two other teasers. Last find for a great day out! TFTC
Part of our caching holiday in Northern Tasmania
Our final cache for the trip (totally 85 in all)
This was a great cache, with all three parts (two fake and one real) found fairly easily
Found one piece of paper in a fake cache - claiming it as the logbook - Obviously failed to read the back of the paper.

Found with TassieGirl13 on our way to Hobart.
We wheren't really sure what we had to do puzzle wise with this one.
Anyway we happen to pull up at a particular spot to study it some more.
As we sat there we looked in front of us and thought hey that looks like a good place to hide a cache.
So I hopped out and had a look while TG tried to make sense of the riddle.
Sometimes I suppose you just get lucky because in the second spot I looked there was the cache.

We found one "try again" before reading the description again looking for hints (that may only exist in our imagination). Off we went down the road and searched the dry-brick wall there too. Found nothing. Will give this further thought before returning...
Good hide.Found dummy caches and then with a bit more looking there it was.Nice job.TFTC

Found by elder little RC, after a short wild goose chase inspired by my imagination.

Found two decoy caches before finding the correct one - sneaky but enjoyable. TFTC
Yes I did find the wrong one first but soon the correct one was in hand and the log signed. TFTC
A note to geocachers following - there is no need to pull the tops off the metal posts, the cache is not there and you will just cause more damage.
We searched, tried again, and found it! Thanks Swampy

We found this tricky geocache,]

Them teddy bears were not having a wonderful time today,
I had hacked into 'Teddy.net' last night and arranged a picnic for them at the Pontville Memorial Grounds today
The Big Truck Show was on and those guys would have been looking for something furry to turn into roadkill
So back at Oatlands I had a quick search for their cache in peace and quiet. Except for the occassional passing muggle car [:o]
TFTC.
You should have no more teddy bear related problems [^]

LOL - That was a fantastic cache. The kids loved it. It was a difficult find but made very fun. SL
My systematic search brought me two guess again prizes before I found the correct one. A lovely town to visit and a fun cache concept.
Thanks,

Interesting cache. A nice idea, not quite what I was expecting, but I'm not sure what I was expecting (hence why it's a mystery cache, I guess). TFTC.
Luckily there were no teddy bears around today, so we found it easily. Went on to look at the lake and surrounds, still no bears but we did find a couple of wombats, a lizard, a possum and a couple of birds.
Found at 3pm. GPS spot on to the correct side of formation. Very clever Idea and hide. Took RH9ZXZ Crane2's Red Handed Geocoin. Now going to Queensland. TFTC.
Busy going through my GSAK database and updating caches I haven't sent a log for. Have been using GSAK to keep tabs on my finds. Thanks to the cache owners for the caches. Working my way through those caches that require emails with answers.
We had worked this one out before we left Victoria, at least we thought we had. Glad to see that we were right.
Took: Geo Coin,
Thanks Swampy for a fun little Teaser,

Traveling down to the North Islanders in South Island event with Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan and mica paramedic, once again Mrs Coffee had solved this mystery and we were simply tagging along for the ride. With all these teams looking the cache was found fairly quickly.
Thanks Swampy for this amusing cache

Love the secondhand shop in the main street it has 3 Vintage triumph motor cycles in the front window 1 being a boneville, will have to come back another day when they are open,
Thanks for the cache TeamSwampy

Done a bit of head scratching on this one, one of the Junior Mob wanted to find this one so I left him to it…
After a while I had a quick look while he was looking elsewhere and found it straight away BUT didn’t let on that I had done so….. Sure enough after a few more minutes he came up with goods …….. THAT’S where the head scratching came in to it……
I ‘m sure the owner of the Cache and also everyone that’s found it will know what I mean by this…………The rest of you can find out for yourself…..

Found 200705161300 . I wasn't too sure what to expect here but had been warned of the malicious and frustrating nature of this puzzle cache on Monday night [:o]. The only disappointing thing was that I was not frustrated for nearly as long as I expected to be

What a clever cache. Took three goes to find it but I got there in the end.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Yes, it sure was a big surprise! But no time for going to the woods as time to head for home. Good hide - thanks TeamSwampy!
Finally..after a few attempts.Took too much notice of previous logs...lying SOB's...can certainly string along a good story.
Not a fan of this hide as previous visits found lot's of rocks on the ground...and yes it was cachers...as the sign at southern end of town..which is identical...has not a rock out of place.TFTC Cheers TeamSwampy.

Found after 3 false attempts and wife's broken finger nail. Please replace rocks where you find them as we found several left on the ground. Thanks Robtas for the fun cache. SL.
Thought I had but but not.. Then to my relief I had the real McCoy in my hand. So many other places it could be.
I liked this sneaky, tricksy cache. False hope lies all around..... LNSL... Thanks for a fun cache...
Finally found this one. Can't give too much away but sufficient to say I was looking in the wrong place.
Thanks Swampy
Thanks Swampy
First cache of my trip - Turns out I found everything possible before finding the actual cache. Thanks Swampy - clever, and sneaky!
Easy find today with the right equipment. Last time we visited we were trying to find the cache using SmartSt and it took us right around the Lake. Spent more time questioning why that was than it took to find the cache.
Cheers Quilter

We were very lucky we did not have to move two - hundred rocks. Picnic area are very nice we have ducks as visitors. TNLN. Thanks TeamSwampy.
Yes eventually!! Given past failures at this one, the only reasonable strategy seemed to be to call a family picnic at the scene of the cache (see photo, but be warned - SPOILER). We are concerned at the deterioration in the state of this structure since we first visited, hopefully not due to the actions of cachers, so heres a hint - you do not need to remove ANY rocks to find the cache, just look very carefully!!!
Last cache found on the East Coast Forage. El golco knows it's not on the east coast but the return to Hobart was via Midlands Hwy and some very nice venison fillets with rustic garlic mash, roast beetroot and aubergine in red wine jus..........diet definitely starts tomorrow....
This one's a bit different, thanks TeamSwampy!

Found on my fourth go! Put my hand in one crevice only to be attacked by a giant skink! SL
Found easily, on a wet cold day, only teddies around was me and bear, think everyone else was having picnic at home.
Great Cache, knew you had been scheming something tricky for awhile, it works well. Thanks for my last Tassie Cache.

The teddy bears don't hate you. They are just hiding! Checked today, they are still having their picnic.
We really don't know why the teddy bears hate us, because we have always been really nice to them!! Many of them live in our house, and get to go on picnics at times! However, although we tried again and tried again and tried again we could not locate this cache - don't know what the locals thought was going on by torchlight! Got home and wonderd why we hadn't thought to calll a helpline! Second micro to beat us on the footie bbq trip!
First find on my trip to Hobart(working of course).
Easy find but very disappointed not a teddy to be seen anywhere. No-one wearing one either!

no laughing matter here today no teddies just heaps a rain found fairly quick but still got wet again thanks swampy
OK I'm going to have to lay my cards on the table and show my complete ignorance. I found it (quickly too as luck would have it) and logged it, but didn't get it(as in the joke)!!!!!! Can someone email and tell me what I didn't read, see, hear or do!!!!! Please?????? (and put me out of my miserable state of thicko-ness?)
The teddy bears were having so much fun at their picnic today, that I couldn't resist joining them. I sang and laughed and danced with each of them.
Thanks for a great cache.

HAHAHAHAHA
Found it on the way down south on the working caching trip.
