Found this one missing the other day. today me and Geokid replaced the cache with new container and log. nothing fancy but a find none the less.
Not found since January and the owner has not logged on in nearly a year.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Attempted with Big Matt and Shell, steeba and The Rats during a quick 4 day bash down to Victoria.
No luck with this one. Looks like it's gooooone!

After reading the previous logs it looks like we shouldn't have bothered stopping at this one. We looked for about 2 minutes until someone read the logs.
How about checking the cache or making it unavailable?
Thanks anyway gumleaves.

Out caching with some friends, and cache is indeed missing. Owner contacted.
Gumleaves, we would be happy to replace cache if required.

With a very specific clue and a short wait for the museum muggle to move on expected a quick find. Alas, this one has definitely gone awol. Owner needs to replace or archive.
looked for this one for a few mins and having not been able to find previous one didn't think that I would have two DNFs in a row. I even phoned a friend who had said that the last time they where here they could see this one but couldn't get to it due to muggles. Came back later for a second go (bout 10.30pm ish) looked with torch and moved some stuff around still couldn't find it. I am wondering if this cache has been MUGGLED has it been checked lately [?]
Found on our walk back to the geomobile, outside the former Police Station, which is now is a good quality museum. http://www.bing.com/search?setmkt=en-AU&q=CustomContentRetrieve. Recommended Visit Rating - [^][^][^][^] /5. The entrance fee is phenomenally low. We paid an extra adult fee, as a simple and modest donation to the preservation of history of this beautiful rugged and old-worldly place. [^][^][^][^][^][^] /5 We had a wonderful guided tour and chat from a volunteer, Aileen. The museum is a recommended visit, adds a discerning dimension to this beautiful place!
CJSAN says I was muggled despite my brilliance to drop my mamphlets!! Just can't win all the time - now, put it back!
Log book full so added another. Took cockroach left snake. Just returned from junction of Campaspe and Murray rivers- acquatic Hoonsville! TFTC
Our first cache of the day, and second in general.
Isaac found it pretty quick. People walking around everywhere - it was hard to be discrete, but we weren't caught by the local establishment.
Thanks for the cache.

Liz and toddler Eva came along to see what geocaching was all about, so we all had some fun.
No sign of the resident detective inspector today - I was quite hoping to bump into him.
I loved those big fig trees nearby. They've certainly seen some history. We sat in the shade and signed the log.
"Horsie! Horsie!" squeals Eva. She's very pleased with the cache contents. Dropped Thai coin.
Thanks and cheers from Andy, Tam, Anna and Bass of Team Bearsleys (plus Liz and Eva)

#874 @ 2.50pm. Found with DestinationOz on our caching day (aka afternoon) in Echuca. A historical place this certainly was, whilst we were ascertaining where the cache was, Mr Policeman walked past. Thankfully he glanced but continued on his way. Was glad on the nearby shade to log our find, the day is getting hotter and hotter. TFTC gumleaves - love the history associated with your cache

Stopping in Echuca for the night, we thought we would grab a few caches, but it was a last minute decision & with GC.COM down for over 6 hours....we had no co-ords!!!! We couldnt believe!
So, thanks for DJ Rascal all the way in NZ, for providing 4 sets of co-ords off his 'saved' ones on his computer, we were able to do a couple!
We had no idea what size, type or anything we were looking for, but it wasn't long and the container was spotted, just had to wait for the "muggle-free" opportunity.
The log was VERY full - we stuck our sticker on the 'barcode' on the back of the log book - the very last available spot. Didn't have a single log book with us, so couldnt replace.
An beautiful old building, in yet another beatiful area of Echuca. Many thanks.

A very exposed cache in such a busy spot. Its longevity suprised us. A quick retrieval and a seat under the fig tree to allow the paperwork to be completed. We swapped a crab for a train. We tried to hide as best we could, TFTC
Found with Propeller-head, he found it even before we got out of the car but it took me a while to find. TFTC
Visiting from Tassie and we spent a couple of hours in this historical area. The bonus?? .... it was topped off with a great cache hide. TFTC
Sssh! It's two caches for the price of on really.
The back story on the greater cache container is quite interesting and explained at GA0651.
We got our photo with out being squashed.
We wandered aimlessly for a little while after finding the cache, enjoying a sunny morning then headed off to the bakery for a morning tea.
The blue faced honey eater kept pinching scraps off the next table.

A quick find for this one. Thanks heavens as 2 previous caches in this area returned zilc. Took a geocoin and left a coaxial connector.

My sons first find but there was too many people around so we could not mark the log book and we did not get time to go back. SO SAD
this was a hard one to get with all the traffic going past but managed to get a brake in it so we could grab it SL and replace it with not to much trouble

Just arrived in echuca with friends for our houseboat holiday. We thought this would be an easy find and it was, so we quickly found it before boarding our home for the next few days, "Indulgence", which was awesome by the way!. Thanks Gumleaves.
Made a quick 600klm round trip to the Steam Rally.
Much to fellow passengers disgust, grabbed a quickie while they were doing the tourist thing. (I printed 10 out in the area but alas only let of leash for a short time)
Neat location, I think might not work back in Melbourne!
Nice cache in a town I remember fondly from my youth.
P.S. Keep it a secret, but "Happy Birthday to me....."

30/05/10 3:19 PM nice easy find, I don't know how this doesn't get spotted by the public? You need to keep a lookout when getting it.
So easy. As my mother would say - "it would bite you if it had teeth!". Hard to believe so many muggles pass by daily and it stays in place. Thanks Gumleaves.
Had trouble finding this one as another team had it around the corner signing the log.
Took the Chebacca Travel Bug for a trip to Wagga Wagga

Out with Team Honeysucker and we had planned to do this as a driveby but the lady from the store came out and started to give us a history lesson. A quick ploy by dropping my GPSr to the ground soon had the cache in my hand.

After taking a break at the Central Victorian Get Together, it was time to do some caching! As we were driving to 'Port of Call', we saw some dodgy looking dudes at this cache and decided to pull up and have a chat, signing the logbook at the same time! I parked the car and went back to chat to Oenze and Highrod, nice to meet you guys! Thanks.

This turned out to be a drive by and handed to us as Oenze and Highrod were signing the log as The Empire and I pulled up , it's always good to catch up with other caches at gz - thanks gumleaves
Rolled up and found an easy park right on the corner. Had just switched PDA over from TomTom to Geoscout to zero in on GZ and thought "wow...lot of muggles around here...might be tough!" Then noticed it was a big convention of cachers and Oenze sitting signing the log, one of the cachers didn't even get out of his car to sign the log how lazy is that!!?!?!?!
Found, retrieved, logged and rehidden really quickly - we had a great muggle free run while the AZAC ceremonies were in progress. Thanks for the cache.
This cache was easy to find and retrieve, replacing it was a lot harder!
As there was a muggle couple just standing there as we were just sitting here.

Had to relocate this cache to another spot very close to where it was before. The management decided to do some landscaping which resulted in the cache being exposed to full view of the public. Have also done a respray of the container and added 3 new items to the contents. Added a matchbox car in its original box, a packet of mini-pegs with ladybirds and a packet of pirate and wildlife stickers. It is in a busy but scenic part of town although can be fairly quiet early in the morning or on most evenings.

The cache has been put back close to where it used to be but in a different hiding spot due to landscaping works that rendered the old location un-useable. Have also added some new items to freshen up the contents. Still has the same outlook and aspect as the old spot.
