Hi Rather Geekish
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

Long time since this has been found and owned by someone who doesn't seem to cache much....
Found what we thought was the anthill and searched around there for a while and didn't find anything. Decided to re-try with the GPS and went to that spot instead and quickly found the cache thanks to some comments in the logs.
Bring your own pen as there isn't on there.

After a couple of finds up the road I needed to grab this cache to complete a challenge on the geocaching subreddit. So I descended into the bush and hunted...and hunted...and hunted some more. Finally, I made my way into a new area and spotted a possible hiding spot. But before I made my way over I decided to clear a spot just a bit closer. Thats when I spotted the blue lid! Glad to lock this one down. TFTC!
Cool little park alright. A bit muddy underfoot and the ants seem to be gone but found it all the same thanks to the lid.

Took two passes at this one... no smiley for me. Might try again before I head to wellington.
Never knew this park existed. Nice.
Sadly found the cache in a very poor state. Water damage. All logs mostly written-off (excuse the pun), pen rusted and unusable. Water in container and even in the plastic bags.
Left new log sheet, threw out pen so BYOP until a pen can be provided, and I dried out salvagable logs the best I could.

Caching in aux is certainly a different beast then quiet little old feilding where Teeps and Mum usually cache. Even though it was 6am on Sunday morning this was the first quiet GZ i searched. I did find the anthill, however this was a DNF for me too.
Looked for a while amongst the trees. No luck. Identified what I thought was the anthill, now just a patch of dirt. No luck
As other people have mentioned its a little difficult to locate, but found it after a long search.
Heh I had walked past here often and thought it would be a good spot for a cache! Initially tried without GPS and not much joy. But turned GPS on and a spot became apparent to me nearby. Nice hide, log wet but signable.
Out and about in the Shore with KiwifruitsNZ, gathering some caches. Since KFNZ had already previously found this container, we made the quick scramble down the hill to make the find ourselves. No problems at GZ. Thanks for the hide!
Really great hiding spot for a cache. I didn't sign the log as it was completely soaked. Tried to dry it out but it was too far gone. Took a trackable too.
Anthill was indeed overgrown, but we found the cache! Still pretty soaking wet inside though... My buddy left a TB here.
Area seems to be popular with kids.
A shame there is so much rubbish lying around.

Lovely spot but geocache wet, toys wet pen rusted, paper wet. Will need maintenance. Have emptied water from container unable to write on paper as too wet. Kids loved it here though
I cant believe this cache has been here since 05. Ant hill thing is now just a slightly larger bit of green stuff then the surrounding area.
While looking, were interrupted by a muggle with history in the area -- says that he was part of a big cleanup crew at this park 40 years ago. Said the river used to be up over the rim! His father used to collect eels from the river, smoke them and give them away to people in the neighborhood. Since he clearly wasn't going anywhere soon, the girls and I forgot about the cache and listened to his stories until time to go. NOT a wasted trip, by any means!
Had a look around but could not find this one. Maybe I will come back again when I have more time.
Staying around the corner at the Motor Park we had a quick walk to recover this one.
Good to get the legs pumping after a long flight from Perth.
Thank you for the cache Rather Geekish.
Cheers TLC

First cache for the day on my Xmas visit to Northcote. Nice walkway to the broken bridge and GZ. Had a good look around but no joy.
This cache was close to where I was staying during a trip to Auckland as part of a school Geocaching trip. I decided to to take a small group night caching. We picked this cache due to its size and close proximity. It took 5-6 minutes to track it down. I swagged it up a bit as it was looking a little tired. TFTC.
The Car-Gar (Garmin Nuvi) had GZ on the high side of the road... The 650 pointed us in the right direction and the GeoWife made the find with the iPad as I did the dance of the drunken bumble bee under the trees. By the description this once glorious cache has been left in disarray, the double bagged log is dry and just a couple of bits of SWAG left behind.
It's sad to see them left like this...

Took a bit of hunting around the bush, but got there in the end. Didn't know this park existed. Thanks.
Found on second try. Didn't really understand the description but found after looking in several possible places. Indeed the park could benefit from an upgrade!
Thx for a nice hide!

Took us a while to find it, where searching in the wrong spot. After moving further away from GZ, the cache was a quick and easy find.
Yay! Found it with the dog just now. Strange park this one eh, as if it used to be maintained but they gave up. Dried the cache (was wet inside), put new plastic bag around pen and log book.
Finally found it after about 10 mins bush whacking.
Can no longer see the Ant hill as vegetation has grown over it.
Cache was very wet inside and really needs some love
No logbook just a single peice of paper (small).
Signed paper nothing to take not at all good for kids who love to swap!

Eventually found the anthill thingy whilst we were waiting for our curry. Kids loved the stream
A nice lunchtime visit between showers. The Anthill thingy was difficult to locate, but found it eventually, completely covered in tradescantia. A nice sized cache in a little gem of a park. Thanks for bringing me here.
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 19, In Auckland Region and the day I fly home. After the NZ Mega there was one half day left to go caching with Sol de Lune. After breakfast we walked down to this park and the cache. With only wet grass to worry about we soon had this cache found. Thanks.

Post Mega caching day with Albida before he headed home. All the caches are starting to run into each other....but I can still remember most of them. Thanks for this one.
This was my first find on my visit to Auckland. Twas an early morning and managed to sneak out while Sweet_bee was having an early morning nap.
I neared GZ and was very pleased to see it devoid of muggles. It took about 10 minutes of searching before I spotted the prize. It was a tadly damp but still very usable. I signed the log and re-hid as found.
What a beautiful little area - it seems to have just have been forgotten. Thanks for sharing it. TFTC Rather Geekish

A nice little walk from the campground and the kids had a great time rolling down the hill. TFTC
Just passing some trackables through on our route to the Mega Event in Auckland.
This was the closest to our accommodation.

Out here on lunch looking to get a cache for the day. Bit soggy around the place and didn't immediately see what I was looking for but after walking away from the stream and closer to the path found the cache shortly after. Nice little spot - TFTC
Nice quick find and indeed a hidden little park. A good large cache to go along with another near by.

The last one for today. I wanted to do this oldie, so happy that I can tick it off. It was a nice little park, It just looked as if the bridge wasn't finished over the water. Lucky me...there was a TB in the cache (after a couple of missing tb's)
Had been here previously in the dark, but only to the footpath above....didn't fancy the trek down in the pitch black. But today discovered there was in fact a path although it looked like a river had run down in it in the last couple of days. Split up in search of the anthill thingy, found fairly quickly and the cache soon after. Log was dry but there was some water in the container. Dropped the Puddleduck TB, tftc
Slogged around for a while near what we thought was the "Anthill Thingy" not sure if that was really it or if we were off in the wrong direction, will have to go back for another look soon.
I was hoping to pick it up on the way walking past, but no luck today - let's blame the fading light TFTH!!
Hiding spot was good but log was very wet, I had tissues with so tried to dry it and used a new piece of paper to log as previous one was almost ruined. Had fun anyway, TFTC.
Nice cache, Spent some time searching around and almost slipped in to the stream, phew too close. just missing some maintenance. TFTC
After originally been told my fellow KiwiFruitsNZ team member that this was one that had not been found for a while so not worth trying, we decided to give it a go.
A quick easy find,

GPS didn't work so spent a while trying to find possible locations, lots of possibilities but found in the end, may need to add more paper to it soon. Cheers
Took me a while to find this one as the GPS had me going in the wrong direction. Then I noticed something that matched the description and soon had the cache in hand. Will need a new log book. TFTC
Popped over to the North Shore this evening to fill in a space on the calendar matrix and to get some exercise. Parked up near here with the intention to walk to the nearby caches. Nice quick find of the cache here. Everything is in order here. Now to try my luck on the other side of the road. Cheers for the cache placement!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were in the area and headed down the hill to make a quick find of this cache, the area was nice and dry today. There was no log book, only some mushed up paper, so we added a small piece of paper in a plastic bag as a temporary log. Thanks for the cache!

We had to drain water out of the cache, but we managed to sign the wet log. Would definitely need maintenance. Watch out on the way down, it's very muddy, so very slippery. TFTC
Nice hide, in a great wee spot. Yeah i too wish that the council would tidy this wee area up. But then again whats stopping us from tidying up this area ourselves aye? My two girls loved this cache as it was close to home and only a 5min walk away. The cache itself is very wet inside, could not sign log paper too wet. TNLN. Overall a great cache. Keep up the good work mr Geekish.
had to be a bit carefull here as pretty slippery underfoot but soon had it in hand, TFTC
When I found the cache it had some water in it, and the log can't be signed as it is soaked. I dried the cache best I could, but the log needs replacing.
Found after searching for the "ant hill thingy". Unable to sign the log as the paper was very wet. TFTC
Easy to find but oh so hard to sign. The log is a useless soggy mess, requires maintenance
After spending the night sat the nearby holiday park master Miester asnd myself decided to clean up a few of the caches in this nearby park. A quick find TFTC
Was able to locate this cache quickly as it was in plain sight (from the right angle) and without any form of camo. The log was a little damp. TFTC.
Good easy find - needs a better logbook ( a sheet of paper wont last and the container is very easy to see - fun wee walk tho - TFTC.
