Didn’t find it this morning....
I really gave a good search on every log, fallen tree, etc...within 10 meters of the 0. I poked with a stick, just found some old bottles, cans and a pretty terrifying old pair of ladies underwear.
As so many people described this as “easy” and “accurate” GPS, I think it must be missing.
I found two spots that I said “I would put a cache there”, especially one seemed perfect. Both were empty...
I’ll keep an eye out if someone finds it, but I really do think it’ll need a replacement.

I wanted to grab a cache today to get all my stats back to Auckland. Much like most of the previous logs I had picked up a parcel near by and looked to see if there was an easy cache close. This seemed easy and, as a bonus, very old so I set off for this one.
At GZ I spotted numerous hint objects but eventually found the cache - the GPS was very accurate which I didn't expect with all the trees.

I can't believe I haven't visited this hidden walkway with the hounds before! We were in the area chasing up another courier parcel that's gone awol. We found the cache but still haven't found the parcel! Tftc
We couldn’t find it looked under tons of fallen trees and the stumps. Looked for over half an hour
We paddled down the river from New Lynn in our kayak, and came ashore to find this cache. Nice find, thanks!
We happened to be in the area to pick up a parcel and this looked too tempting to not have a crack at. Located cache quickly after parking and got to watch some of the rowers at work after as well. TFTC
Quick easy find, but it does need attention.
Its amazing how water finds its way passed a rubber seal.

Lid was off and everything soaked. Have closed it all up but will need some love.
I was in the area today picking up some gear... and as I am currently trying to maintain a daily geo-streak I decided to try and find a cache while I was here. That is why I was looking for this one. So after making my way to GZ on foot, I soon found the cache. However, this cache needs a bit of maintenance as everything was soaked. So I did my best to sign the log without wrecking it and I have put the cache back in its spot the best that I could all ready for the next hunter. So thank you sp8sm8 for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
Last cache for today, it's getting very hot and too hot for Albert the Geohound really, so a leisurely paced walk to GZ - the trees were lovely for the shade which meant Albert and I could look for the cache without getting too hot. In the end found with the help of the hint - perhaps not quite like some of the others but a quick and easy find and a nice sized cache here too. Alas I had no swag with me - had left it in the car, but never mind. Once again, great container in good condition and everything is in good condition here - thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
I had a meeting to go to on Rosebank road but I was running early so what better way to kill time than to grab a local cache or two I didn't realise I could actually drive down to the reserve so took longer to get there by parking in the industrial area. Once I got to GZ the cache was found quickly and the number retrieved, TFTC!
Have looked at this series for a while so decided to set about it today before an event in the afternoon. Cache found in good condition, TFTC
I was going to get this cache last week while kayaking nearby but changed my mind when I got to the jetty. Decided to come by car today.TFTC
Started bit early for work. GPS was bouncing near the GZ. But the hint helped to find the cache quickly.
Unfortunately, couldn't find the code for final puzzle from this cache. TFTC

Searching through the map tring to find caches I have forgotten to log. Found, but for the life of me cant remeber the exact date. guess I will be back to check the log.
Headed out to find the few caches out in Patiki. Didn't even know this area was here. Had to pretend I was going to walk the whole track after talking with a City Care worker, while waiting for him to leave GZ. Eventually found the cache and headed back to the car, as the city care worker was driving up the road.
Attending the NZ Antarctic Society AGm at the West End Rowing Club clubrooms, so wandered down here afterwards. A nice wee track. TFTC.
Grabbing another Oh Wow cache to see if I can get to the Bonus before I leave Auckland. I was happy to see that I could access through a closer trail head and not have to hike in from Oh Wow #C. Container took a few seconds to find, as there were several choice close to where my GPSr zeroed out, but sonn found it as it was slightly exposed. Still in good shape. Signed log and replaced with a bit more camouflage. Thanks for the cache!
Our first find from this series. Luckily this was not far along the track and we made a quick find. Kids did a swag swap while I did the formalities. TFTC
Funtion at the rowing club so the car park was overflowing. Parked back on the road. Found the bush track and soon unearthed the hide then the rain started bucketing down. TFTC
Loved the off the beaten path path. Also meant no rubbish like other paths. Really enjoyed looking for the two of these paths. And this one was big enough for toys!!
Had to se over in Avondale to assist a customer.
Had started that process and left to a junior work colleague to continue and finish the job. Knew I had to get a cache for the daily streak and couldn't believe my luck when I jumped in the car that this cache was right here.
Wandered to GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Love these larger caches and liked the way the inside had been separated.
Signed the log and returned to its hides hole. Day 74 of our streak done.

Greetings from Latvia also from me!
Didn't use the walkway much, just cycled down from Rosebank but from this side I didn't see any signs that it would be closed anymore.
Thanks for the cache!

Out today with merlot58 for me to do some more in this series and to find a nearby puzzle. I went in to make the find, merlot goes go in the hard way why don't you, it was not until the way out I got what she meant. Another piece of the puzzle completed.
Almost 5pm, still some heat in that sun! Just fed some ducks, sparrows and pukeko in the carpark with some bread then found the cache!
Nice one. Track not to bad after heavy rain the days before. Entered the track by the Assembly Point, as the rowing club was in full force with a full carpark. TFTC
I was right on top of it, but didn't spot it until I looked at the reverse angle. TFTC.
A nice picnic spot with look-out over the water. An easy find but beware of the rat traps - they are not geocaches! Freezing cold on the track without my jumper...
I agree with previous finds - ignore the closed sign, that is further along the track.

Quick find while in the area. Ignore the sign saying track closed due to slip - there is no problem getting from the carpark to the cache. TFTC
A quick family find after collecting B from work on a local film set. Track had been previously closed but we cautiously made our way to gz and it seemed pretty safe. Took our smurfing buddy along for the ride.
My 2nd one in this series and as there was no one around today I had no trouble parking and it was a nice short walk to the cache. TFTC
Not sure why the sign says track closed? its not closed for another 700m, so this part is fine. Arrived near high tide, so the rowers were out training on the water. Lovely short walk to GZ, no trouble finding with the help of the hint. After walked down to the jetty to get a closer look, the tide does flow past quickly! its magical on the water this morning.
I was driving past this area today and realised that there was a nearby cache. This was nice straight forward park and grab. TFTC!
Another quick find and another step closer to the final!! Remembered the number this time!!
On the bicycle for the first time after hand surgery. No unfound caches on the NW cycle path so returned via Rosebank Rd. Nice deviation to the rowing club and a pathway I had never been to before.
Found this one despite the sign saying the track was closed. We could hear the happy banter of rowers out on the water. Short walk to the cache. It was really nice in the bush, warmer weather and it would have been brilliant! Chilly old day in the city of sails Thanks for the great cache
With the assistance of daughter number 2 we found this one. Like others we did not observe the number under the lid. Will have to go back some time to get it. TFTC
A quick easy find after work but as I sit down to log this I realise I failed to note the number for the bonus cache! At least it will be easy enough to revisit sometime. Thanks!
Parked the car close to the other cache and walked to this cache. Nice walk too!
Doggies loved do run up and down. Tough with the cache you need to be carefull a possum trap is just a couple of meters of the cache!!
As others have mentioned, there is no TB in the cache

Parked at the rowing club but quickly found that the track was blocked off due to a slip. Still we nipped past the barrier and went up the track with no problems. We later drove around to the other end to gather the other cache, and there was a huge tree down (was over the track, now all cut up) so maybe this is what the 'slip' is. No bother, easy find, tftc
Another peacefull spot I never knew existed. Idylic morning strole after work until it rained. Cache a little wet but dried as best I could. TFTC
For a very industrialised area, it was pleasant to find this little haven with picnic tables and views out over the water. TFTC
Cache was well exposed, Signed and covered a bit better, only now once i got home i relised i didn't take the numbers down for A or B "DOH" oh well TFTC.
Heading out to complete the final stages of the All Around Auckland (Major) series - and thought we would pick up some other caches in the area.
Good quick easy find - looking forward to completing the rest of the Oh Wow series of caches.

concluding a days kayaking, knowing this little bloke was hiding near by in the bushes, flash of energy from the weary feet and soon in hand. TB retrieved and now clued up on the clue;-) have to return and find the rest;-)
After deciding the road works meant no access to this cache we thought we'd walk along from "c". The path varies in quality and at one point drainage works make it a bit scary. The last 150m is very nice. Left a gc and even remembered to get # from lid. GINO TFTC
A nice easy find (unlike #C just up the road that took me ages). There were quite a few rowers out on the water this afternoon. TFTC.
Found with Mike-miss this morning on the way north to tackle the puppy power trail. Nice area. Spotted the hiding place from a few meters away as we approached. Gave the cache a bit more camo. TFTC
Parked within a few meters of GZ and made another nice quick find here. Cache was a little exposed on arrival but we covered it up well with natural camo before leaving. TFTC!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Had been meaning to locate more of the Oh Wow series, so decided to quickly pop across and find this one whilst driving down Rosebank Road one day.
Cache was easily found. TB removed.

I have had mixed luck with this series, having found only two of the four I have searched for. This one proved to be tricky thanks to poor GPS signal ut I managed in the end. I hope to be able to find the others to snag the final soon! TFTC!
Well, after solving and collecting Oh Wow #A I realised I had unintentionaly started on a bigger project. Excellent! I like cacheing with a purpose in mind. Out tonight to collect the rest.
I was able to pop in just before park closure and get the required information from this cache. Found GZ easily enough, but had to adjust my angle to complete the find. Dropped of a TB. Cheers for the cache!

My 100th cache for the day . Managed to track this one down without too much trouble in the dark. TFTC!
Working out this way so just had to pick this one off. Only trouble was no GPS used the clue but it still took longer that it should have. They have done the area up nicely, quite a few people coming down for lunch.
Was out this way biking, so decided to get this cache along the way.
I did kinda get lost in the backstreets along the way, but soon got there.
Had to wait for some muggles trying to do like 20 3 point turns to pass, so I could duck down into the bush... they then left, but like 2 seconds later came past again, and asked me if I was going rowing... I said no, so they left. I tied my bike up and ducked into the bush... got the cache pretty fast once I was in the right spot, and did the usual sign log and all.
When coming out of the bush though, who do I bump into but the people who had been doing all the 3 point turns again... I think they were lost or something... but I don't even want to know what they thought about me, looking so dodgy there...
So I grabbed my bike, and sped off.

4256 A nice stroll to GZ, watched some fishermen trying their luck in the fading light. Thanks for the cache.
Loved the track walk with dedicaching towards this cache. Nice hiding spot and awesome view.

13:30 Quick find here...all the undergrowth is wet after the storm the rolled through yesterday. Nice to get another WOW cache after a DNF(missing) on this one prior to Christmas.
