Logs
I have been meaning to visit this one for a while and it was good to revisit this location. Participated in some waymarking while I was here.Even though the container is shattered and there is no logbook to sign, I am still logging a find on this. Appears the systema has had a hard life with the afternoon sun.

Caching trip out with the ladies... I'm in! Nyssaflutterby, Membsec and I headed up to the sunny coast on a mission to collect some caches.
After the walk towards GZ we realised we had a little bit of a challenge to get to GZ!
After manoeuvring our way around the obstacles, some faster than others, we picked a spot that looked likely and went in for confirmation.
The cache was located quite quickly, signed and returned.

Nyssaflutterby, Angela and Dave and myself decided to have another go at collecting some caches up on the Sunshine Coast. We had some great plans, but we didn't quite achieve everything that we wanted to do but this cache was on our list.
We were in the area for some other caches and Nyssa was determined to find this one. I think we took the more difficult way to get to GZ but it was an interesting way. Eventually we linked up with Nyssa who we had lost for a short time and Angela came up with the goods. We were all very happy to find this archived cache. We all signed the log and replaced it where we found it. The lid is slightly damaged otherwise all in good condition. Maybe the next person could replace the container.
Thanks for the great views and the cache Shakespeare99.

I had worked out most of the answers to the questions except for the missing Waypoint 3 which I got help from another cacher. Thanks for that. I was asked at the last event if I had been to the cache but I had not got around to it so today I ventured in to the cache. I found the cache according to the picture and the final coordinates. The lid of the cache was shredded along one side and the container was full of water which I emptied out. Everything was wet and starting to smell manky. It really needs taking home and a new container and the log dried out and new bags and contents washed. I put in a temp log paper and small cliplock bag. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Shakespeare99
We started this this multi a year and a half ago before it was archived, but came to a dead-end at WP3 . We put it in the 'maybe later' basket … until today. With a small clue from a recent finder, we had some co-ords to work with
We were in the area today, so headed off to GZ with showery rain falling either side of us . We had been here before to grab another cache or two in our early days, so we knew which way to go . After a little hike, i had to leave the track and it wasn't long before i found the beast . It was totally full of water and the log book was beyond soggy … it was an awful, smelly, slimy mess, and i didn't even bother to try and sign it [xx(]. I took a photo instead , and will add it to my log.
TNLN TFTC Shakespeare99 … a real shame it was archived

As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Dear folks in Oz! I have to disable this cache. Obviously some signposts are not the same as they had been 6 years ago. And I can't look for them because now I am living approx. 16000km away. Maybe I will re-open him as a traditional (but he will still be wet). Thanks and gratulations to the last finders for finding the cache.
Well this one was a saga. I had mentioned it to Lokipagan during the week - and she whacked it on our lists "to do".
We got to WP1. OK. All good. However, we seemed to be going the wrong way. The position didn't mention the description.
I am not as "quick" as the others in calculating. But something didn't seem right. What's this Loki? An error? We made it WP2 and collected our clues (really wish we did have our actual compasses for this part). Soon we had new co-ords.
This doesn't seem right either. I was being pessimistic and wanted to check the answers again. Sure enough. Another Loki fail Personally, I was starting to think it was an effort to sabotage this cache
We got to the next WP. This part really needs some attention. The sign here seems to have changed - we could not find a suitable number.
However, we jagged where the next WP was without it. Sure enough, there it was. We collected our information we needed. We trapsed on toward GZ. I had been in this area before and really enjoyed it again. Enjoyed it all the more that I had not forgotten my sunscreen!
Our hunt at GZ took a while. Finally Loki yelled she had found it. She redeemed herself - I spose The cache is in poor condition and very wet. We put in a bit of paper with our names in it.
Although this cache is in need of attention at a WP and the final - it was still enjoyable. I am not so sure about the Terrain rating of "2" - but still worth doing. Happy to cross this one off at long last. TFTC Shakespeare99

Wow this was an effort and a half!! We certainly earned our difficulty stars [xx(]. Collected the clues and headed off to WP1. But all did not add up. Things were looking decidedly wrong before we reassessed our calculations. Hmm yes Loki had mixed something up. Coords corrected and we were back on track. At WP2 the compasses were in some disagreement - we took our best guess and moved on. Decided to drive to WP3 as we had already spent quite some time here. It looks like WP3 has recently received a makeover and there was no yellow sign to be seen . We were reluctant to give up as we had come so far... We had an idea of where abouts the final would be and thought we might be able to snag something... Sure enough, with a bit of educated guesswork and the clues we already had, we managed to find the information at WP4!! So close... We calculated a GZ that looked very feasible. Trundled onwards and upwards, past a large group of whale watchers/researchers. But luckily they were away from GZ .
Our calculations certainly fitted the hint and we started our search of likely areas. Spent quite some time searching far and wide, knowing our coords may not be accurate given the guesswork involved. Eventually looking back through previous logs, we spotted the photo!! Hmm maybe over there... and sure enough, there was the shiny sistema blue we know and love [^]!!!! In the end, it turns out our calculated GZ had us within 10m of the cache! Pretty pleased with that. The cache was full of water and all the contents are saturated. Left a piece of paper with our names but this cache needs some serious TLC and a WP3 check. Very very glad to have this one done, and pretty pleased with our efforts and intuition, even if the final search was pretty lengthy. Thanks Shakespeare99

What an afternoon!! Did it with team DFL. Definitely need to put aside 3 to 7hrs to allow for head scratching, 3 heads definitely better than 1. After much "strolling" and conjecture and the photo from previous cachers we came up with the cache. Still not sure what is inside the brackets is done first but apparently it makes 2km difference to the stroll!! Hehehe we had fun anyway.
Wow what a hunt. Found with TLJL (eventually). Travelled all over the countryside trying to figure this one out. A lot of local knowldege came into play, and the photo by the lost bunch helped a great deal at the very end. While our arithmetic skills may have been Ok as far as adding and subracting goes, it seems they were a bit lacking when it comes to the principles of arithmetic. Makes a big difference how you do the sums.
Had a nice morning wandering around. All the clues and co-ords were spot on. As no one has logged a visit for nearly a year I thought the cache might be gone but there it was. All the contents were in good condition. Though I did notice when putting the lid back on that one corner was broken. The highlight of the morning for me was seeing a Scarlet Honeyeater. Also saw Kookaburras, Red-backed Fairy-wrens, Galahs, Brown Honeyeaters and Brahminy Kites. It's wild flower season and we had a bit of a chat with some locals from the orchid club who were photograping native orchids. Thanks for a great multi.
Got the co-ords, had a enjoyable walk to gz.
Signed the log, cache in good condition.

Without a GPS and not found for ages, we gave up this one - our first one we couldn't find!
Finally got to finish this one off after rechecking everything. With the co-ords checked it was a quick find with holster and thehairbear in tow. The cache is still in good condition and dry.
Great multi we enjoyed it and great views.

WOW! Wat a fun cache this was. Maths was a bit rusty. My partner did that part. Nice walk involved, not to long. did this in the middle of the day, realy hot. ducked in for a swimm half way threw, lol. had truble witht the grave, used the year of death instead of day. Was out a few degrese east, so i took anouther bareing from 3rd point (wat we thought was the 3rd point) to work out the rest. We found it eventualy! Ended up runing back to find out the day of death out of curiosety. Thank u.

1300hrs. Yeah finished. We took a couple of days to work out the clues and once I sorted out my maths we went for it. In the end an easy find as co-ords were spot on.
Thanks for the hike.

What a great little multi! Found it after 2 sessions working on it to collect the clues and not end up walking too far. Managed to do it without a compass after guessing the hill to take a bearing on, climbing it and fixing a waypoint to use from the dune - worked! Maths spot on, TFTC.
My coords had been out a bit all morning. Undaunted I continued on right to the very heights. It was her where my 'inaccuracy' really caused me concern. I phoned a friend to confirm my search area. Yes, came the reply...that's close enough...it's in that general area. Some 15+ minutes late the cache was in hand.
Many thanks...had a ball

Well finally i found this elusive cache.....but unfortunately with help.I,d been to this location so many times for one reason or another and every time, i'd go this cache. Technically my maths, spot on but i took down the wrong info at the tombstone......hence 7deg out.Allowing for mistakes at the final destination, we'd do the old search pattern. In the end it worked out we only missed it by 6' in passing.....( i hate that!). So, to those who have attempted or are going to attempt, spare a thought for d.d.dudes and ensure you get the right info........or you'll pay (I know i did !). Thanks for the unique challenge shakespear....I,ll miss the hunt...until the next cache.

Wow where do you start with this one!! Well I'm glad the boys are good at maths, found most of the markings and directions ok, were a bit worried as this hasn't been found for a while. A really good multi cache(our first) only gripe is that we ended up back at the top of a mountain that we had just finished climbing!! TN left travel bug. A great day thanks
Spent most of the afternoon trying to follow the instructions to the cache. We live right in the area (in the centre of the "loop" actually) and still couldn't find the yellow sign at point 3. We have a fair guess as to the approximate final destination but without co-ords it is a big area to search. We will try again so we make sure our maths is correct (but not again this weekend)

I was up this way a week or so ago doing the hard yards to find this cache but was chased away from GZ by a monster thunderstorm. [B)] Back this morning bright and early with the sun blazing away and found the cache after a few minutes of searching. A great cache hunt in a very nice area. It was much more fun to explore a very scenic area than to just walk up and grab the cache. Made all the more fun by my awful mathematical skills.
Took a candle and left a car.

I'm very happy to report that I found this cache as it took me a couple of days to do so! I found the first 4 waypoints easily but screwed up on my bearing for "C" and ended up 50 metres from the final cache. Laying in bed that night, I figured out my probable error and set out a couple of days later to find the cache. It was right on target and nice and dry. Note that while walking on the trail to the second waypoint, I was warned of a dangerous red-bellied snake on the trail up ahead. This made the walk all the more interesting as I was already ankle deep in water. Thankfully, I didn't see it and was rewarded by a scenic walk through a very beautiful park. Thanks Shakespeare99 for this challenging and rewarding multi-cache! Took dinosaur and left Canada pins and millenium collector's coin. (My 5th Australian cache)
The cache is enabled. I have reviewed the description of the cache and corrected the formulae. Thanks to Mtbikeroz for notifying and advice.
Should have checvked the Geocache site before setting out this morning. Would have saved us some time. We had a distinct feeling that there was some errors.
Cheers!

Coooeee, First to Find, despite 3 Serious errors in the given formulae.
I circumnavigated the hill once, climbed it twice and eventually after 2 wild goose chases, finally found it. I used and tried several possibilities and permutations of coordinates. And a lot of thought and common sense.
For example - The East coords for point 3 are way off. (but the S was OK) I knew what I was looking for so off I went and found it. NB - The formulae for 3 was adding to E2 (which was ALREADY on the beach) a LARGE number (ie the year of the obit * 4). This put E3 20km out to sea !!!!!! OK - So I got to point 3 by going by the description and getting to the correct S3. I then reset the S/E coords.
Another error - the formulae for S4 & E4 were once again in error - They sent me to a distant road. However, on this particular wild goose chase, I came across 2 of the required signs on the way to the calculated S4/E4 which was NOWHERE near the signs, ie 1/2 km away from any sign. I then reset S4/E4 for BOTH of these locations and tried both, going up/down/up/down & all around - SIGH.
But I found it. Cooeeee. I swapped some things, but at the end of the day I have no recollection what.
But I did sit down and just enjoy the early morning view.
