Caching with barb2e and SmittenGranny on a blustery Monday morning. Very obvious, yes. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Found with isopeda and Smittengranny on a morning trip Goulburn way finishing off Currawang road caches. Tftc
A T1 hide indicates that a person in a wheelchair is able to navigate to GZ & reach the cache. At this location neither of these things is obtainable. Maybe the CO should consider changing the terrain rating.I did like the cache hide was on Painters Lane. This morning we stopped at Tarago & left the caravan behind as we did a circuit of the area. Some nice quick finds & then some nasty hides in the prickly bushesA nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks ack son of hack for hiding this cache.
Excellent and interesting little cache! Definitely a very fun set of treasures too!
With the new WOC souvenirs starting today, I made the trip over to Goulburn to find some caches required to earn them. I ended up with six out of eight types. So, only two to go. I also found a couple of oldie (pre-2010) caches and a new D/T combo. It was a great mixture of cache finds today which included a few P&G’s and a couple of tough fishing pole cache finds. I ended the day with 22 finds and one DNF. When I arrived in Goulburn I had a pie from Trappers for B’fast and I had Hungry Jack’s for lunch. All in all, it was a great day out and I look forward to finding another trip to Goulburn in the near future to find some more caches. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTE & TFTC’s! Always great to find an oldie. Thanks for placing this and for maintaining it for so long. Great views from here.
A quick find with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
#6376- A quick spot but harder to actually get out. Found with thomo31, and picked up a TB. Thanks
I thought the colours and patterns on this find were Nature's artistic flare.
The road is a bit rough where it floods. 25m of 4WDing. It was fun on the pushy.

**Our Day**
With the previous day’s constant rain ?? and continued overnight falls ?? our planned 30+km cycling ?? ????? ????? trip down and around the Orroral Valley swamps had to be postponed.
So, where do you go on a beautiful sunny Winter’s ?? day when the ground is too saturated to hike ?? and too muddy to cycle ?? on dirt tracks?
At the 11th hour, our weekend plans were brought forward combining two adventures into one ??very, very long day driving around the north of the ACT. With Contesta and GeoPartner we headed out early seeing, in the gorgeous morning sunshine ??, Lake George that should be full soon if these rains continue. Many paddocks and fields are partly under water ??, livestock ?? ?? ?? ?? ?????? ?? ?? ?? were standing water, and some backroads had in parts turned into streams.
It was cold ?? and very windy ?? in some areas so we spent much of the day running ?? ????? ????? between GZ and back to the warm car ?? for the best kind of exercise! Fortunately, all GZs were quite straightforward and none required extensive searching. Just lucky ?? today!
Yep, the car is muddy but nothing soap and water can’t fix. Home in the dark tired and exhausted ?? but happy ?? for our productive day in great company. Now for bed ?? - after a shower ?? of course!

Found on my way back north from a quick visit to my nearby previous hometown. TFTC!!
Thanks for getting me off the mad speedway track to here - lovely and peaceful. Took the opportunity to have some lunch and a cuppa, watching the traffic hurtling along the main road and looking over at the brilliant Canola and contrasting green paddocks. More Van Gogh than Picasso - but you get the picture, ha ha! Thanks ack son of hack - have a fave from me!
There is no doubt there are some spectacular views around here, such a shame Picasso did not come this way it may have changed his style. TFTC
Tftc,
I am a bit over 900 away from making 10,000 finds at 10 years of Geocaching on the 28th May 2020.
A decision was made to have a go. After all that has been achieved this year, there is still 5 months to get about 3 a day and a few Power trails will help.
Did maintenance on several Tarago Series caches ( #'s 8 - gave it a New log, 16 & 18 - replaced the containers) Also, 11 - needs a new lid and placement corrected.
For GC3WDMA we replaced the log.
Visited trackables.

One of the many geocaches on the annual Stumble's trip to Canberra (where we stay in NSW) but this time travelling from Goulburn to Queanbeyan via Tarago (pub grub and service is GOOD) and onwards through Bungendore.
Of the 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were DNFs. All caches in good conditin but generic log due to the sheer amount of how they blend into each other after a while. TFTC!

This weekend represents The Stumble's annual Canberra trip. We travelled from Goulburn through to Queanbeyan via Tarago (food and service is really good at the pub) and Bungendore.
Out of 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were "DNFs". All caches, unless otherwise stated were in good condition. Cache locations varied but those prickly trees were the WORST!! We did encounter a few unique hides which we have awarded FPs for.
We left a lot of swag along the way for the kidlets and deposited a couple of TBs that needed moving on.
To all the CO, TFTC and the (at times) challenges in finding them. Apologies for the generic logs but 241 caches blend in to each other after a while!!
Kinda expected a bit of an exciting cache here but alas, it wasn't to be!

A big weekend of caching in the area thanks to the Clear Waters event in Queanbeyan. A lovely area with plenty of caches to keep us busy and engaged.
A cute play on the place name/cache name, you certainly knew you were out of the city when you find a cache like this.
Thanks ack son of hack for placing and maintaining this cache.

Having left Goulburn to make our way to the Mega in Queanbeyan, this was one of the many caches that we found. Quite a nice view from here. Thanks for bringing us here.

Quick detour and bonus extra picked up on my way to tackle the Tarago Series PT. Easy find, quite exposed by its colour but not sure I’d rate this a “wheelchair accessible” one star terrain.
Quick find whilst out and about. Wakefield obviously running as can hear them from here.
After attending the Wingello Event this morning with Kittykatch and Joolay, we headed back to the ACT via the Tarago Power Trail. I had such great companions that at times they pulled up at caches they had already found, so that I could test myself. This was one of those times and it was good to see that their selfless act was not wasted. Once at GZ, the cache was soon in hand, signed and after adding a tb, it was returned to its hidey hole. Finally done with study so I can get out and cache! Jumped in the geounit to go for a countryside drive to grab the Tarago series and a few other randoms along the way
Most of the caches were quick and easy finds with only a few taking a little longer. Hot day but great to grab a big swag of caches!
Quick detour to grab this one with a curious and vocal horse nearby wondering what I was doing!

On a road trip with Strangetrousers and JetFuselage up to the Goulburn GIFF, we decided to have a crack at the Tarago power trail and a few others along the route.
Twas a quick side trip to this nice spot but we abandoned when we saw the ENORMOUS black elapid enjoying the afternoon sun. It made a hasty retreat under the rock when it spotted us...
JetFuselage and I looked at each other and both went “Hell no.”
We will return in winter with a hiking pole and our Subaru 737 on standy for an emergency take-off to escape said elapid should it not be prepared to share the cache

We commented on the pretty area with the contrasting colours as we drove along the lane and we were soon able to spot the object we needed to investigate. While Mr Y'stassie drove further down the road to turn Mrs Y'stassie hoped out, grabbed a walking pole and headed to picasso's spot.
She stopped as she noticed Aussie Picasso sunning himself along the base of the rock. He had sensed our approach and was preparing to escape. She watched carefully as he slithered away then headed in the opposite direction. Finding some clear ground above Picasso's home she spotted the hide. Will she or wont she try to grab the cache. Walking pole in hand she used her hockey flick to remove the cover. Then after several attempts managed to flick the container clear. A quick grab sign and return. Unwilling to put her hand into the space the covering is not as effective as it was when found.
Fortunately Picasso had not returned and Mrs Y'stassie was able to return to the road.
Thanks for this cache ack son of hack and for a heart stopping moment that we will add to our caching stories. And yes the container and contents were in good condition.

A long overdue caching adventure with the lovely ladies from FurfacesLL ! A rare occasion to have them both out on a geo adventure Its been a while since we have been out for a big day and I had a wonderful time We had set our plans on tackling the Tarago series, we encountered a number of obstacles but we ended up winners by getting all the caches we had initially targeted and a few more along the way. Apologies for the generic logs however that does not distract from the fun day we all had together
Thanks for the cache hide ack son of hack was a lovely day out and about today and again fun times with the FFLL ladies

Two old caches in a row without a single maintenance done by the owner! Pretty cool to see especially given that this one is from 2005! Still in fine condition too
An interesting straight road to drive down, did a quick U-Turn at the cache site and ran over for a quick find and sign. Interestingly enough one other car came down here just before I was about to take off! I thought nobody would come so parking in the middle of the road wouldn't be an issue
Thanks for placing

Out and about with Kittykatch and decided to go back to finish the Taralga Trail. It was a very chilly, windy day to be out and about but still good to see some country views. We knew there was some rain about and for some got a bit damp but mostly beat the rain. We had decided to head back this way towards Bungendore rather than the highway. It was a lovely drive. Thanks for getting us out and about.
International Geocaching Day today so Joolay and I headed out to grab a bunch of caches. Goulburn parkrun first and then caching. Finished off the Taralga series and grabbed some others on our list. Picked up a TB here. TFTC

#7803 - 15:55; After a caching run north through Bungendore and on to Goulburn via the windfarms, Currawang and Komungla earlier in the week, today I did the run but this time through Tarago and Lake Bathurst to collect the remaining caches through that area. I appreciated the name of the cache as I turned off the paved road and onto the dirt track towards GZ. Once there, a short search turned up the cache and I added my name to the log. Out and about with my besty, Happy Uke, again today. We were out to catch a whole swag of caches and brag about it to all and sundry.
We were on our way down the coast for a few days and I talked Happy Uke into a little caching on the way.
Thanks!

Finalf29 and I headed out to Narooma for a few days. So of course a caching expedition was organised. The weather was brilliant and the company superb. Found 17 before we had to put our foot down to get to Narooma before dark.
This was our third for the day. Sadly here in the middle of day but understood the hint. Nature can be pretty spectacular sometimes. Thanks

A caching trip to-day, Bungendore, Tarago Goulburn and return to Canberra via Lake George. Rocked up to some rocks and searched for ages but no find, then looked at GPS closely, no I am not 3 metres from it I am 3 metres off course, the cache is another 40 metres further on. At the right spot a quick find. TFTC.
