14-Feb-13
Since nobody has found in over 2 yrs, I'm guessing this one has been relocated. Definitely not to be found Sad

14-Feb-13
Looks like loads of gardening has happened. Looked everywhere and no luck.

06-Jan-13
Don't think we studied hard enough Sad Scored an F- on this one

13-Dec-12
A DNF for me.

02-Aug-12
No luck for me. May need looking into, it appears the gardeners may have recently done some serious pruning so scenicrouters might want to check to see if it still exists. The clearing means there is little cover from muggles too.

12-Jul-12
The Uni Maintenance people have cleaned out the GZ???

03-Jan-12
Found a likely spot but it's must be missing in action, cheers

29-Oct-11
No, not today I'm afraid.

02-Sep-11
Didn't search hard for this one because of terrible thorny plants nearby...pointless in bushbashing for this one. Thanks.

14-May-11
No luck here either

23-Jan-11
No luck for us here today. And we weren't really of a mind to crawl through too much undergrowth. We found what we thought were the right kind of trees but just couldn't spot the cache. We'll save it for another visit to Bathurst. Cheers.........Gaztek

04-Jan-11
A cache just outside a university! But this took me back to kindegarten when we got to pretend we were a worm or caterpillar, crawling along the ground. It was just easier to get to the cache that way! Anyway, it was found logged and sent on its way. Thanks

04-Jan-11
Found this one fairly quickly once we made it under. A nice quiet spot nearby to where some study happens. TFTC

04-Jan-11
Interesting university, and a bit of a bush bash too. Thanks Senic routers!

04-Jan-11
Nice easy micro near the university. This was our last one for the day out of 31. TFTC

07-Dec-10
Had cache in hand fairly quickly after a bit of bush bashing. Thanks.

17-Nov-10
Found with Bx U3A - nice and safe in its hiding place. Thanks for the cache.

17-Nov-10
If it rains much more the shrubbery and vines will take over. But we intrepid jungle explorers fought our way through the undergrowth and found the cache. Thanks.

17-Nov-10
What a battle! I'm scratched and possibly scarred for life!

03-Oct-10
Reperio at 1625. Had visited this one when last in Bathurst, but being at night I wasn't convinced that I'd searched everywhere thorough enough. This time I returned in the daylight, and came at it from a different way, and spotted the cache immediately. Don't you love that.

Gratias.

21-Aug-10
Just dropping in a travel bug looking for a little education.

19-Aug-10
WanderingAus wandered by on day 100 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, making a night run after the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) gave me a leave pass while she went line dancing. Parked, walked to the corner, beat around the bushes in the dark trying to find a way to GZ, and eventually made a fairly easy GAFF 0 find.

My find No 2921, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

Eventually found it after wandering through the jungle for some time.

18-Aug-10
In the area so decided to have a look at the time of year the hint might help (I'd had no luck on a previous quick look some time ago). Followed the GPS from several directions and eventually made the find. TFTC

16-Aug-10
This one is still holding up even after all this rain.

02-Jun-10
found this about 5 minutes ago, looks like it stood up to the rain. TNLNSL.

30-May-10
Cache is fairing well in the rain.

13-May-10
Dropped in in the dark looking for an easy find. Got covered in sticks and leaves but couldn't turn up the cache. I don't think the cache description is accurate in saying there is "nothing hard about this one".

07-May-10
Found night caching. TFTC.

02-May-10
This one required us to walk through a few spiders webs but we found it eventually. TNLN. TFTC.

25-Apr-10
OK This one was a bit tricky. At one point, it was like hacking through virgin jungle. We were a bit concerned about possible damage to the vegetation, but found the cache just as we were deciding to turn back.

21-Apr-10
Well hidden away from the gaze of the students in a hurry to get out of college.

Found this cache at 3:35pm while in Bathurst for a Morris Vintage car rally. The wattles were in flower and the entrance looked lovely.
Thanks Scenic Routers for the hide.

12-Aug-09
Took a little hunting, but being night time, there were few muggles around to be seen. Cheers Gav [4202]

12-Aug-09
Took a bit to work out how to access it in the dark. TFTC.

26-Jul-09
There was amazed at the number of cars coming and going as I approached the cache. It didn't take long when I got to GZ and I was soon on my way caching through Bathurst.

19-Jul-09
Ah... the olde alma mater. I spent some time here many moons ago. Somethings havn't changed such as the footy field and the Towers accomodation which is about to be demolished, but a lot of other things have.
Thanks for bringing me back.
A quick find when at GZ... a great little hidey hole

27-May-09
It was drizzling but not too bad, and the walk through the scrub soon had the cache in hand. On the way I went past a (dead) 2 metre high thistle! There was also a small bingle on the road as I was in there. As Bill Lawry would say, its all happening!

13-May-09
Found 10:40am. Tried to look official while exploring the garden. Plenty of cars coming and going. TNLN Thanks.

The cloak of darkness wasn't even needed in the end.
Scuttling around on hands and knees this one turned out to be a humungous comando effort.

Sorry, I'm a bit behind on logging my finds.

Thanks for the cache

28-Mar-09
Just as we arrived at GZ Mr Router showed up on his motorbike to offer some encouragement. Then we plunged right in and after much scratching around finally came up trumps. Perhaps we should have done some more homework to get a better idea of what we were looking for. TFTC

1363+13=1376 with Captain Tomato #43 of 92 on Bathurst Invasion Weekend

My first trip to Bathurst for 34 years – came up through Booroowa and Cowra and headed home via Oberon and Goulburn. Although with that many caches, my memory has blurred, I have come away with a great appreciation of the countryside and seen more of the towns than if I was doing my normal touristy thing. I have seen historic locations, scenic locations, fun locations, tricky micros, easy micros, evil micros – fantastic.

Thanks Scenic Routers - this was a bit tricky but CT found it in the end. I looked at the tree and thought - really?

28-Mar-09
Found this cache with SecretSquirrel-BJC on our Bathurst Invasion weekend. Had a great time meeting the locals and finding stacks of caches.

Looked in all the easy spots first, then decided to trust the GPSr.

28-Mar-09
We had barely arrived at this cache when we met our second member of the Scenic Routers team, Mr Router swinging by on his cache maintenance run.

Credit for this find largely goes to SuperJaz, who was prepared to plunge in deeper into the foliage to make the find. My contribution was limited to defoliating her hair afterwards Wink

Thanks again Scenic Routers

27-Mar-09
Had a look at this one well after dark but had no luck even with 3 sets of eyes...

27-Mar-09
Parking was a bit restricted here (that's what all the signs say anyway) , so Fitzy ducked in to make the find. By the way he came out covered in 'nature', I guess I made the right decision.

Thanks again SR's, another one marked off the list.

1012 - Arrived in Bathurst for the Invasion and it was after the Mountain that we hit 'local' caches...

All I can say is that after getting covered in organic *stuff* I found the cache and we went on...

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers....

19-Mar-09

Found the "clue", but did not find the cache. Well, at least now I know where Charles Sturt University is.......

21-Feb-09
Crikies a cache bigger than a micro complete with a hint but still made no difference. Couldn't find the wattle altho one man's Dawson River weeper could be another's wattle. Did see the red chair. Wished it was still out in the open. I record my results on my mobile & the comment after this one was along the lines of "just had my 50th DNF". Still have crossed Bathurst off my list of places to visit so that's an achievement. Thanks.

11-Feb-09
Good little cache TNLN now more camoflaged in the same spot as was out in the open

24-Jan-09
A bit of a scramble for this one, some weird anomalies with GPS location, maybe underground electrical cables interfering.

2nd last find for the day. Geodad and Geomums thought we would have another go at caching in Bathurst. I must say Geodad is more worried about the GPS readings and playing with his PDA while the Geomums are out doing the calculations. Go the Geomums.

Cheers

Got it... With Kayls and Team Kirkster 23. Make note to self...Don't go looking for caches in fleece jumpers. Little sticky plant things are everywhere! Thanks for the find.

10-Nov-07
Found at 16:50 with herca, frogdude, Wasptor and Teglian - my thirtieth cache find on our Bathurst 24 hour Caching Event weekend.

I know heaps of people who studied at this place. The cache took longer to find than expected - would not be much fun at night.

Nice place though.

Thanks Scenic routers Smile

10-Nov-07
Found on the 24 hr race event. a bit harder in the dark of night and when a security guard comes around to check on what you are doing. But we got it.
TNLNSL to be quick and get out of there. TFTC routers,
