I went out to replace the log-sheet but discovered that the camo has gone missing and is nowhere to be seen. I'm unable to replace the camo without seriously reducing the quality of this cache which has earned many favorite points over many years, so I'm archiving it on the advice of the original owners. Thanks to all previous finders and thanks especially to team Romax for the clever hide and for the enjoyment provided to all who found it.
A quick find while we were in the are to do another cache, the coordinates are really good which certainly helped. TFTC
On a return roadtrip from ACT to VIC and SA over four days, as part of a FATZ (Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX) mission.
Took some minutes to find, but got there. Logbook quite wet. Thanks for maintaining the cache claybol

Cache 9354 on 4 Oct 2022.
Road trip! Joined ZQX, Fox in Jox and TikvaNZ in taking advantage of a long weekend in the ACT to head to Victoria and South Australia for 4 days. We had planned this trip 2 years ago, but it did not happen for obvious reasons, so now getting it underway. Our goal is to pick up some old caches, get counties and get some interesting DT combinations!
Today: day 4 and travelling home from Bendigo via a few more counties and interesting caches and cache types. It is always a challenge to balance all the caches we want to get with getting to our destination at a reasonable hour, and we struggled on this trip. So many caches to choose from!
Took us a bit to find it, not what we expected.
Thanks claybol for the cache and the fun!

On the October extra-long weekend, four Canberra cachers went on a road trip from Canberra to South Australia via NSW and Victoria, and back again. That's a lot of kilometres in the car. But we managed it. Crosswords, general chat, caching-related chat, puns and even a conundrum kept us sane as we travelled. Plus of course lots of stops for caches.
Day 1: Canberra to Nhill via several different local government areas.
Day 2: Nhill to Mount Gambier via Little Desert NP and Naracoorte.
Day 3: Mount Gambier to Bendigo via Port McDonnell.
Day 4: Bendigo to Canberra via Echuca, Cobram, Corowa and Wagga Wagga.
By the way, when we cache together, we usually write FATZ in log books to save space, and time. FATZ stands for Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ, and ZQX.
This cache: TikvaNZ made the find. It took the four of us about five minutes. From memory, this was our first cache of the fourth and final day of our adventure.

A weekend road trip camping adventure with RoamingHowie, exploring the Bendigo area as well as attending a couple of events and a cito, teaming up with Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 along the way.
After packing up our camp, we headed off towards this morning's event and a much needed coffee.
I approached expecting the usual hide, but compass had me a couple of metres away, where I found the sneaky hide.
Now off for that coffee.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, claybol

After the tree planting CITO, Chook joined up with Geoturtle37, Papi4506, OzHockeyChick, Roaming Howie, NoWorries, nirgalagrin and Crack'n'LeeLee for a super fun afternoon of chasing caches in the backblocks and bush of the Huntly area. It was the end of the day and we had said our goodbyes, but Chook couldn't resist stopping for this one as she started heading home. Luckily we have done some Romax caches in the past, so with some careful examination of the scene, the clever hide was spotted fairly quickly. Always a favourite point for these clever Romax caches. Thank you to Romax, and also to claybol for adopting and maintaining.
I can truly say that I have not seen a hide like this. So clever; clever beyond words, so that's all she wrote.
Thank you Romax and claybol .

Stopped on the side and two black labs next to their owner at the close tables. Tails going nuts!!! A short walk provided quick success. Snazzy hide.! All good
Clever hide. Love these type of caches. Geokid 9 was the finder of the log after I thought I had it but couldn’t find it.
Surprisingly I found this cache quite easily. After reading a few logs I thought I was going to be searching for hours on a challenging cache. Luck was on my side today as it is a very clever hide TFTC
Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
We were heading North East and I was told to turn down this road as there was a cache that I recommend you do and Gemma had already found it.
Gemma mentioned that it was a Romax cache and I thought to myself oh this might turn ugly as some of their caches are very sneaky.
I had a good look around GZ in every nook and cranny and I thought no way and there was the cache.
Thanks Gemma NOT for not giving out any clues and making me really work for this one.
A fav goes out to you for this great cache and I have not seen one like it before.

Now with the ability to travel conveniently as Melbourne cup is on, my partner and I decided Bendigo for an overnight stay and a few caches.
After a failure this morning our first for the day and also by this CO, this one was much quicker and a very nice job on the cammo. Fav.

Headed for this one due to the favorite points. The cache was in Mr ILT’s hand before we really looked anywhere else.

We enjoyed an awesome day out in Bendigo with Jamin Appleford and Scremma. Saw the beautiful tulips at the festival then decided to do a few caches on the way home.
We stopped close by and all got out. The young Ilookedthere went racing off to GZ and started looking. Mr Ilookedthere found the cache quickly as there is a similar cache close to where we live. Log was signed and replaced. Thanks Romax for another great cache!

Beautiful spot. I'm new to the area. So thank you for bringing me here. I will have to come back and explore more.
Great hide took me a few minutes to find it. Almost gave up hope then one last look and try and bam I got it.

Omg this nearly did my head in. Is now my favourite hide. Thank you so much for the entertainment.
So, what can I say about this geocache that hasn't already been said by plenty of others in the comments section.
Myself and my geocache partner's must have spent a combined total of at least 3 hours over the course of 1 or 2 days trying to find this damn hide, we looked in just about every single conceivable place we could think of, the absolute relief we felt when we finally figured it out, as a previous commenter said, it was a kin to feeling like you had won the lottery.
Without a doubt one of the single greatest geocaches I have ever done, a real brain teaser, actually still can't quite believe we did it.
Definitely giving this one a favourite.

Brought two reasonably experienced geocachers out with me, spent about 20 minutes trying to find it in every conceivable location we could think of, and we still couldn't.
Could the cache owner or someone that is aware of the actual hides location please come out and verify that it is still actually here?
Cheers.

Keeping in mind that it was about 9 at night that we tried to find this one, didn't have any success, will come back during the day, definitely not letting this one beat us
Decided to escape town for a few days to do some exploring and get off the couch after a lazy weekend. Packed the car and headed north!
This was a super clever hide. Fortunately I spotted something and found it quite quickly. Lucky as the sun was setting and I was yet to get to camp and setup. It was just luck that I had tried this as early as I did.
Thanks kazba16 for the cache.

Another devious Romax cache. Loved the creativity and a sincere thankyou for the effort.
After a short search, geoson yelled, “found it!” I didn’t actually believe him at first, but turned around and to see him holding the log aloft, and thought you little ripper, well done. He was proud of himself, and rightly so. TFTC Romax, a FP from us.
Such a great hide. arfter a dnf a few years ago that I forgot to log, I found myself back looking again thinking everything looks a bit to familiar. With fresh eyes this time didnt take long to find the cache container and retrieve log.

WOW! What a cache to end the night on. Might I say this is one to remember and recommend to anyone. A real brain teaser. The lovely catherinec19 found it almost entirely by chance and we managed to find within TWO MINUTES!! For us finding a Romax cache within 2 minutes is the equivalent of winning the lottery. I can see why it has so many favourites and I am more than happy to chuck another one on to it. TFTC ️
this was mine and tytaylor19s last cache of the night! it was getting dark and we noticed it was a romax cache so we were scared we'd be here for a while!!! luckily i found it pretty straight away by chance! l love this one and how sneaky this spot was! defs gets a fav point from me! also love the misty paddock across from it so cool area!! tftc
Well we pulled up here today & I got out to have a look and I looked. I touched, I climbed through fences, I looked at the bridge & rails. But nothing came to. I think I’ll exchange my stock instead & ponder on the genius creation that has eluded me today! I will be back another day, maybe tomorrow & I bet when I find it, I’ll scratch my head head & wonder how.
Yey,
Mrs Riddell was right onto it and put her hand immediately on it.
Gotta be happy with that!!

I must be getting wise to Romax caches. As I pulled in to the best parking area for this cache I had already picked where the cache was likely to be hidden...... It took about two minutes, which surprised me, as it is a very well hidden cache. I always feel a sense of accomplishment after I have found a Romax cache and the speed in which i found this one utterly astounded me.
Thanks for the cache Romax, I'm not getting cocky, I'm sure there are plenty more that won't be so easily found.
TFTC..... gets a favourite from me for it's sneakiness.

On a road trip to Bendigo. Out and about today picking up a few caches while we wait to pick up GeoMum from indoor bowls. Once in the vicinity of GZ it was Mrs Pooky who made the find in one of the first places she looked. A lot quicker than we thought. A very well constructed cache. TFTC.
After attending a family wedding the previous day, I had a spare day in Bendigo before leaving for Adelaide. I started by targeting a few caches around the city before finishing the alphabet series I had started yesterday. All caches were found in good condition.

An excuse to go caching with omegaman, Snap Happy and the Empire while finding some of the lost jewels from the museum, up here around Bendigo. Picking up some great gems and different hides along the way. Most of the logs were signed Team Happy. We had some fun and laughs while doing this series. Some were more of a challenge than others but all achieved in the end.

This cache was our last find of the day and was found after we completed the smiley face series earlier in the day and decided to collect some more caches to top the day off and to get more than 25 caches in a day, today (with 28 collected at end of play).
This cache was well hidden and a very good twist on the usual Barrier type cache which was found due to curiosity more so than nouse log was retrieved and signed and the wait was on due to high muggle traffic in the area , in which a break finally appeared long enough to return the log and replace the cache replaced. TFTC, from the inspectorrexteam.

A drive (in the van) to Bendigo for the day to do some caching. Geodog Penny came with us and FUF009 tagged along as well.
We concentrated on the other side of Bendigo and as this was the furtherest we done this one first. A bit tricky if you didn't know what you were looking for but we have seen similar to this before so it didn't take us too long to find it and have our name in the log.

This creation is impressive as it is but even more so when you see that it was published 15 years ago.

With the school holidays upon us becca85 and I teamed up with our posse of geokids (AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 & boo09) to form TeamClarmensma (which we signed the logbook as). We could only manage a day trip so decided to meet in Bendigo and cache up a storm. We started in town before heading out of town towards Whipstick then coming back in. A great day was had with only a few DNFs and some amazing clever containers. Thanks to all the cache owners for their efforts - we really appreciate it.

This cache was on our list for its hidden date age not to mention the 35 favourite points. As we parked close by we discussed the possibilities of what the hide would be. Hitting the nail right on the head we found the logbook within seconds of arriving. We can only imagine how difficult this would have been back in the early days of caching.
Thanks Romax for always thinking outside the box and kazba16 for keeping this oldie alive.

In the area for a few days over New Years. Looking at high favourite point caches around and doing one yesterday by the same CO we just had to check this one out!
It certainly didn’t disappoint! A favourite point from us!
Note for fellow finders the best parking nearby has a few dead animals hanging on a fence. It’s no where near the cache and doesn’t pose a problem.

Found with Parkermon, after spending quite a while trying to decipher whatever a typical Romax cache might look like.

Found with Exportswede. Had us stumped for a while, and the logs were not useful given we'd never come across a Romax cache before. Well constructed hide that does require looking for what is not quite right. Drove us nuts. TFTC!

Nearing the GZ I thought I know these and it will be another quick stop and go. Having logged dozens of similar GZ's how wrong was I.

On school holidays and thought we would do some caches. Was a weird kind of day, weather warmish, but spitting rain every now and then. Took 3 geokids and geodog. No luck today!
An adventure day out was planned with DAB after solving plenty of caches up Bendigo way. It was a fresh day out with the temp not going over 13 deg while we were here. We had both done this type of hide before so thankfully it didn't take too long to work out what was needed here. A nice execution on this one and a few cars going past so we had to be carefull
**Thanks to Romax for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy**

With a day off work, I joined Na'wal for a day of geocaching. With an early morning start, it was a chilly start to the day. The temperature hovered around 11 degrees for most of the day. We had a few periods of light rain, but it didn't dampen our spirits. A good mix of cache types and hides were our reward for the day.
Luckily we had found one of these type of hides before. Otherwise we would have struggled here, very clever. TFTC kazba16

Spending a few days here for work I passed this one at the end of the day so thought I'd knock a find over before dark set in.
Was not disappointed.

On our way home from Elmore having celebrated our Grandsons 2nd Birthday. Couldn’t resist a stop to find a few caches. Geohusband directed me off the highway toward this cache. When we arrived near GZ and I’ve looked at the cache details I noticed the CO’s name. Uh oh! This cache would not be your regular guard rail cache I thought. Needless to say we had a look in the obvious places. The nests under the canal were interesting and we wondered what had built them. We wandered around GZ for a bit and got out the GPS for a more accurate reading. It wasn’t long when we were onto this hide and a find was made. Nothing out of the ordinary here and a well camouflaged cache. Deserved a favourite point. TFTC

Always a joy to find an original Romax cache - a lot of special work has gone in to make this a very secure place for Stocks. SL at 1.39pm Favourite point left. #5310 TFTC
