Found it at 2349 with rainpainy whilst looking for the new cache "Love Gold" by the Castlewood crew which was no where to be seen.
well...that is strange. we had this in our gps, went to it not knowing last log. screw top cache is still in place and log in good condition. Of course we left it there, may be you could ask it to be reinstated. A worthy cache.
When I was an undergrad in South Africa (a year or two ago, let's say ) there was a ghastly radio program called 'No Place to Hide' that achieved cult status among a group of us wanting to procrastinate getting down to study. I was reminded of this when I visited GZ this afternoon -- Jack Lovelock's rock now sits resplendent on a concrete foundation which has removed all the interesting hidey holes so beloved of cachers.
So I am afraid that this cache now has unlisted coordinates somewhere in the great beyond, no doubt sharing space with odd socks, car keys and all the other possessions that mysteriously go missing. RIP.

Visited indicated GZ but too many muggles and too much mud so just took a photo and must register a DNF. Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember Lovelock's major victory. He was an inspiration to my late brother who also competed in many longer distance and marathon races.TFTC
Very muddy here today
Dad came round for the walk with his iphone but the accuracy was awful compared to my original etrex

Grass was a bit squishy today. Cache found signed and replaced before any cars whizzed by. Thanks.
Logging some old caches found now that I've joined the website. Rock n Roll !! TFTC
Often strolled past this place in a years long past. TFTC - still in good condition.
This was quite an interesting place.. It took some time to grab (and return) the cache so that no one noticed.. The log paper is wet and I left there a page of my notebook where I put my note although it will undoubtably also get moist soon.. TFTC!
Hole in cache container & a depression in location = wet wet wet. Didn't have time to competely dry the cache out, but needs container to be replaced or hole plugged and a sunny stretch on location zero. May need log replacing, it is a little worse for wear.
Quick find after walk through the gardens & the area. Cache full of water - hole in the bottle & recent rain meant we had to partly dry log first! Placed to try & avoid water (identical spot - you'll see when you get there). TFTC
quick find before entering the botanical gardens.

Been meaning to do this one for sometime, a lot easier with the students out of town. TFTC
Nice hide. Wish I had not been using such a basic GPS, and coming from the polytech.
Had to walk my way cross-country in my conference clothes

CAme through the gardens and saw the cache hiding place from the other side of the road. Then began the mission to work my way back through the gardens to find my car! TFTC
damp cache found on a rainy day. filled out the log under the tees trying to keep the log book dry TFTC!
Found 8 of 9 today at 4:15 with WB-Holden. On holidays from Aust' travelled from Invercargill to Dunedin today. Raining today so not too many people around. Quick find and nice gardens, Thanks KiwiChris.

Nice cache. A little muddy now. Also log book is getting a little bit damp. But a very nice hide, TFTC.
Found while on a trip from Australia to Queenstown for a work conference with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend17) who came along for the ride. One of 220 finds for the 8 days we were on the South Island. Drove out from Queenstown and headed to Dunedin for a coastal drive back up to Christchurch. Got some accomodation and set out for some night caches in town. TFTC.
6th day and now leaving Queenstown to Dunedin on our New Zealand South Island Geocaching adventure. With my good mate and caching buddy, Marty (quasar3671). Our entire track was from Christchurch to Queenstown then on to Dunedin and finally back to Christchurch. 220 Caches in all in 7 nights/8 days.
Another night find.
Another night find.
I think this was the first cache I ever found, but that was when I was young and stupid. I obviously didn't log it because I didn't know that I could, or how to do it, but I corrected that with another visit today.
TNLN SL Interesting location - thanks - this was my first in Dunedin while having time out from a Girl Guide Leaders training.
It was good to be able to complete this find today as I hoped most of the road traffic would be fellow geocachers going to the event.
Thanks

This is the 2nd Jack Lovelock memorial we have come across with a cache nearby. TFTC Cheers
Lovely hot day here, have been painting nearby and its taken me 2 weeks to get to sign the log
Berlin Olympics 1936! Adolf Hitler vs Jesse Owens! Jack was there, and we found his memorial geocache! Well, it's something.

... and it was gold for the penguins finding this cache today ... and the score from the judges: 9.7, 9.8, 9.6, 9.7, 8.3, ..., oh the Czech judge marking them down quite harshly there, not sure what's going on there? Maybe it's the artistic interpretation.

Popped out of the Botanic Gardens onto the road and wondered where this could be, but not for long as I spied the place for the cache.
Interesting history. Thanks for the cache.

Nice quick find once the nosey muggle finally went back inside. I had to walk away with the cache until he disappeared so I could place it again. TFTC
Found it together with guzzy2010 after a nice walk in the Botanic Garden.
Thank you and greetings from Germany
