Yeah, this one is gone. A cacher who has found it recently rechecked it and said it wasn't there, plus there's three other "not founds".
The cache owner, judging from their profile, hasn't geocached in a fair while, and hasn't logged in to geocaching.com since August, 2006.
Time for archiving, I think.

After a request to check that this cache was still present, I went for a quick look and it was not present. It looks as the branch it was hidden under had been stripped of it's needles. Lots of beer bottles etc around as well.
had a couple of cracks at this one over the last few days.... Think it has gone walk about
Had a good look for this one, and couldn't find it. There was a fair bit of rubbish around there (beer bottles, etc) though.
We'll try this one again after somebody else logs it as found or the cache owner confirms that it hasn't gone missing.

Found by edmil. I found this one was only a few minutes walk from my accommodation. I only had the it as a POI in Tom Tom and other than knowing it was a traditional I had no other information with me. However after completing the short stroll I soon had the cache in hand. No swap was made as I had none with me. Log book was signed. Maddie usually caches with me but as this was work trip she was still at home in Victoria - with the flu to boot. Thanks for the cache.
One last cache before calling it a day. A long day it was too and nice to finish it off with an easy find in the dark. TFTC.
The last cache of my trip up to the capital. It was well after dark but Alan's torch provided enough light for a quick find. TNLN.
Now off to get dinner nearby!
Thanks Ultramax. TNLN

found this geocache early morning in the rain. did not enjoy canberra's cold weather and rain, took a short while to find, cache needs a new log book, but TFTC
Found during a stroll around the Kingston area caches. All covered up nicely, so well hidden. However, this seems to be pretty popular to visit and the back cover of the logbook has finally run out of space for more names - logged my visit somewhere in the middle of the notepad where there was space. Time for a new logbook Ultraman Max. Let me know if you need assistance doing that.
PS: How did you arrange for Thomas to arrive just as I had 'finished my business' at the cache? Great timing!

Funny but we found the cache exposed same as previous cachers. Logged the find and returned and covered - hope it stays this way!

Found with becsmith. Didn't take too long to find this one... unfortunately it was sitting completely exposed... signed the log and put the cache back (covered) where we found it, so we hope this is actually in the right place. Left honeymoon TB.

Thankfully a nice quick find as the sun was burning right through us. Quick log signing then on our way to the next.
Number 2 of four finds for the day while over on this side of town. I think I have only been here once before and that was a few years ago. Quick find and then on my way.

Warning - long story following......
Friday afternoon and had to have a go for this one.
Took a few mintues to find and was backing myself out of the hiding spot and just about into the grass cutting contractor who was about to start work in the area. He looked at me and I looked at him and I kept walking, with cache in hand, and he started whipper snipping.
Went back to the car and sat and watch as they worked and it didn't look as though they would stop. And they didn't. Wasn't sure what to do, but I knew I couldn't put it back while they were there, so I went onto another, somewhat nearby cache. Came back almost an hour later and they were gone. I replaced the cache in it's spot and bolted.
Long story I know, but if anyone was looking for this cache between 2.30pm and 3.30pm today, my apologies, it wasn't there.
TNLN & TFTC.

First find of the day and a full busload of muggles. Managed to get the cache without being spotted. At least at this one. TNLN TFTC
Forgot to say the log book was full when I found this the other week. I remembered today when I took slowdad to find this one.
I think this cache was number 10 for the day. A fantastic cache to finish off the day with. A quick search and we had it straight away. Thanks Ultraman Max
Good thing the geokiddies were happy to scamper around in the underbrush. Took Mr. Snuffleupagus (or Snuffy to Sesame Street devotees), left toy teddy bear. TFTC.
We found this one this morning. Nice cache but needs new log books. Minime found this one and that made him happy. We spotted a coach but no Thomases.

Found this after arriving back in Canberra after celebrating a friends birthday on the Dinner Steam train out to Bungendore.... not only did I see Thomas, I went for a ride.
Had two Muggle friend with me who were fascinated & quite excited by the chase, the find & the concept.... they may be joining the community, who knows?
I've uploaded a couple piccies - but these were off my phone (I forgot my camera [B)] ) so the quality isn't great.

Getting late in the day- cache quickly found and log signed. Was some white powder (spores?) coming off some of the pines!
Quick ezy afternoon find. Would have signed the logbook but it appears to have been full since march this year. Couldn't find the TB in the cache it may be likley that someone has forgot to log it out. TNLN TFTC.
Very quiet outside the station. Do trains actually run any more?
Easy to catch the cache though
Shoes still nearby.

Nice little hide found by the geokiddies. Shoes are still there, odd trade hey!

Our last cache for the day, we decided that after 12 hours we should probably head back down the hill to the coast. A nice easy find once we talked the GPS into showing us the correct GZ.

Found on a weekend of cycling, caching and punctures. Didn't take long, signed log and moved on to the next challenge. TFTC!
GPS pointed accurately today and the find was quick. There was one of a pair of things right on top of GZ - strange.

Last of eight finds on my third night in Canberra. I had a crack at this one a couple of nights ago, but couldn't really search properly, because a sticky beak muggle was hanging around at the railway station, watching me like a hawk. I tried to wait him out by hiding behind a tree, but he just wouldn't go away. Apparently, he was alarmed and alert. I gave it away and walked back to my car, whereupon he approached me to see what I was up to. I told the truth and showed him my GPSr. He was instantly satisfied, but I didn't feel like going back for a proper look.
I was on my way back to my hotel, and had just come away from finding "729 Lashes" nearby, so I decided to have another crack at this one. I found it at 2230, within two minutes of arriving at GZ. The alert muggle was nowhere to be seen. I made no exchange. Thanks to Ultraman Max for the cache. Cheers, dak.

Had a relative with me today - coincidentally his name is Thomas! This was his first cache - and I think he's hooked!
Lovely find - quiet day in the area - there was a Thomas being serviced - and the carpark was quite full. GPSr pinpointed the spot beautifully. Took Thomas photo, left Dog "Train"ing sticker and Gold Coast magnet (a bit of a stretch, but you could get there from here using that method of transport, couldn't you?).
Signed log, TFTC.

it may be kid friendly, but only if those kids find it within two and a half minutes!!
we'll try this one again real soon.

Found by Mary & David at 0830. The first for our first day in Canberra (this time around). A beautiful day and the drought effects aren't too noticeable here. Took USA Geocoin to move along. Our thanks to Ultraman Max.
We seem to have selected the same caches to visit in Canberra as "maccamob" - we were here at 1305. Saw a modern "Thomas" having a rest in the railyard near the station and we appreciated a rest the human restrooms nearby.
4:30pm Perhaps TankEngine should be a more fitting owner, still good location for Train / Bus travelers
Left US Geocoin for travelers.
Seems to be more Bus traffic than Train
I'll just pop over to Hidey Hole now.

Seeing as I was in the neighbourhood, thought I'd seek this one too, found it after a short search. The only "train" activity I saw was a CountryLink Bus!

I had set of for a ride around East Basin seeking the PPT series and a few others. This was not on my list. But the detour around the lake foreshore development took me so close I had to get it.
Arrived and found myself in parkland and no cache. Realised I had transposed some digits. Moved about 100m to a likely spot and found the cache quite quickly. No trains though.
