Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the promlems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**
The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

This was a great multi, It was great to go through this historic area and learn a few things. All of our waypoints were good, however we did not find the cache GZ or in the surroning 12m, like suggested. Perhaps CO needs to check if it is there? we are in Tassy for 2 weeks so may come back and try again later.
Did all the WP's for this Multi, but the end 'prize' may be missing. None the less the tour was fun and compiling all the WP info was nice and simple, no rocket-science needed and all co-ords were "right on the money" accurate. [^] I'm probably just blind but could the CO just check to be sure coz this is a very cool Multi with interesting history The last entry was 2 Feb this year and the one before that was 11 July 2014 [:o]. Thanx for the challenge anyways, mrtack
Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
After all the fires and rain of the last week, today we finally decided to head out and tackle a full days geocaching.
We bimbled about collecting the info to find your cache.

We really like caches that are 'history based' so this one was perfect for us. We enjoyed reading all the interpretive boards and looking at the old pictures. Unfortunately, one of the signs has graffiti all over it, making it very hard to read. Sad about the loss of the various buildings - so much was destroyed in '67. We were surprised where to last cache had been placed. A barking dog would have alerted muggles in the nearby house to our presence - we found the cache quickly and moved away to sign the log - rushed the cache back to its hide and hoped we hadn't been watched.
Thank you for such an interesting cache.
Thank you for such an interesting cache.
Had solved this many, many months ago when the final cache was missing. Passing by today so looked to see that it was now in place and quickly located it to get rid of another of our "solved but not found" caches.

No idea why it has taken me so long to come and get this one, I think it was a matter of it was close to home so could do it any time. Well today was the day with a small family outing. Done the way I like to see a good multi done. Takes you round and back again. Well done.

A great multi and it was interesting to learn about some of the historic buildings that were in the area. TFTC.
After a dnf on April 25 we were very happy to return for a quick signing. Thx for replacing
Thank you for replacing, mrtack. On this visit I found the cache in what I originally thought would be the correct location. Hopefully it stays put this time! This cache has spent a while at the top of my hitlist, so it is nice to be able to remove it. It was some time ago that I worked my way around the multi, and I learned a bit along the way.
I completed the multi waypoints last week, but the area around GZ was occupied with young people riding trail bikes. I returned today but couldn't find the cache even with the help of the hint.
Totally enjoyed the historical tour. We believe we found the correct spot but nothing there. lots of broken glass
No luck with this but we did find an empty hole at what we think is the right spot! A very interesting area!
Second time here, this time with scottymyth, Ainstar and Kitty Kat R and we searched and searched and did not find. Really believe it has gone.
100% certain that we had the correct GZ (with Ainstar, KittyKatR, and membsec), and found the most likely spot where it looks like something had been sitting, but no cache was found.
Had a long look with Ainstar, Scottymyth and membsec, but couldn't find it. Found a couple of likely spots, but no cache to be found.
Having looked at this one in passing the other week I used the time while the car was being serviced to finish it off.
Since i was in no rush it gave me the time to have a look round the area and not just get the answers for the clues, some interesting history of the area is what i found along with the cache.
When i did get to GZ i soon spotted the cache since i could just see the edge of it sticking out of its hiding place, so after signed and replaced i did my best to cover it and keep it out of sight.
Thanks for the cache

I arrived at WP1 and started to retrieve the information required when it started to rain. Back in the car I worked out WP2 and wounded weather to go home.
I went to WP2, ran out in the rain twice to get the numbers and worked out WP3.
WP3 went with out a hitch a quick dash to and from the car.
At WP4 the rain had stopped but had to dry off the information giver before I could read it, and it took a bit of reading before I understood the question and answer (That's me).
As I turned the corner I spotted a car load of muggles near GZ, what do I do? Ill bark beside them and work out where GZ is and ascertain weather I can retrieve it without them been aware of what I'm doing.
I was wondering around GZ tiring to work out where offset would put me when I spotted a gentleman coming from the muggles car towards me, "Geocaching" I asked.
"Yes" was the reply followed by "You must be AlbyDangles"
"Yes what made you suggest that"
"You look like your profile"
It's not too many times I meet fellow cachers when out caching so it was nice to meet "Kirdonnemo" who helped in the search.

After seeing the cache had been replaced & picking up geokid from a nearby sleep-over, we returned to try our hand at this one again.
The gps would give us the original hide location fine, but the change in gz by 12m was beyond us as the gps was showing north at every direction of the compass.
We had retreated to the red puddle-jumper to consider options (lets go from geokid), but geodad was determined as usual.
As we debated what to do, another car pulled up next to us and out came a muggle, he looked sort of familiar, but wait ... he is staring at his hand ... tell tale sign of another cacher.
So geodad wanders out to the original gz, the 2 of them staring at their hands.
He says "geocaching?" and introductions made with Alby Dangles.
Geomum dared to venture out of the puddle-jumper, we 3 tried again.
It was the search by Alby that won through, he persisted at a spot where we had tried with less determination.
Thanks for sharing your find with us Alby, lovely to meet you at last.
TFTC mrtack, relieved to get this one closed.
P.S. based on size of final location we think we had found the muggled previous container last time.

This cache turned out to be a little bit of a challenge. Not a difficult one, just a bit of an info search. We tried to get a historical tour map, but none of the local premises seemed to have any idea what we were talking about. Googled a map instead, and set off in search of info. We were either a little blind or some of the tourist signs may be missing. With one part of the information missing, we used our brains to come up with the rest of the coordinates and found GZ. Thanks for the stroll and the educational experience. Left TB.
checked out today and couldnt find , have replaced log and container , sorry it took so long to get down
cheers mrtack
cheers mrtack
Well, we believe we had the right co-ordinates at the end of the multi, but found no hidden cache. We did find a suspiciously green painted 500ml container and a separated green painted screw top lid lying like rubbish nearby, and a couple of blank sheets torn out of a notebook under a nearby tree. Could this once have been the cache, now muggled?
GeoCheryl & I (as pretty_in_pink_74) had found this cache last year, but had not collected all of the information to come up with all of the way points.
So a few weeks ago, as teamnich4, my two Jnrs & I headed of (me on foot, my Jnrs on their bikes...we live locally) to gather the required information...we had got close to sorting out all of the way points, but the Jnrs were getting restless, so we aborted our mission & headed on home, I then sat at home and worked out all of the required co-ordinates.
Anyway, hubby, Jnrs & I headed of today, hoping that we would find the cache...we searched at GZ (including 12 metres 36 degrees) but no cache in sight....I am believing that this cache has been muggled

Great day found the cache without any clues! Geocache-mum found it easily! Ignore the history Info!! Very happy with find!
Collected the information for this one a little while ago but couldn't finish the cache do to lots of little muggles in the area. Went back today and a quick find was found. So much interesting information that I didn't know existed in this area. TFTC.
Enjoyed a short stroll learning some history of the area on the way, Mum (GeoCheryl) found the cache, an easy find, thank you mrtack!!

although we found the cache, my Geodaughter and I were dissapointed that we did not find some of the info required, we enjoyed the walk and took some photo's along the way, thanks for taking us on the historic walk the 1967 bush fires were one of the reasons I become a volunteer fire fighter some 25 years ago I was still at high school in 1967 but I will never forget the red sky and smoke and every direction you looked you could see fire in the hills.
After my previous tour of the area in March, I finally came back on a beautifully sunny day. It took me five minutes or so of searching the various possible hiding spots, before I found it tucked away.
No muggles at all today, so I could sign and replace at my leisure.
Thanks for the history, mrtack - it's given me a greater appreciation of this suburb.

We collected the information from the various waypoints the previous day but only had a brief look for the cache at the final waypoint because of the quite heavy rain. Today we returned and were able to make a quick find. On both occasions, the area was totally muggle free. Enjoyed learning a little of the history of the area. TFTC mrtack
An interesting multi, that we needed to return to complete later in the day as muggle children where playing near GZ. TFTC
Found this cache at 0916hrs as my 995th find. Only five for the triple zeros. No muggles, great history lesson. TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.
Drove round the waypoints (lazy!) learning about the history, then at GZ identified the probable hide, but couldn't look because the neighbours came out to chat to each other.
Another thime to finish it off...
Another thime to finish it off...
Found cache after a bit of searching, container bigger than we thought, hide had weeds covering it. Good puzzle, TFTC. Beware of curious muggle children on pushbikes.
Happy to see this one active again. Quick find once muggle children had moved off. Tftc
due to regeneration i have now located cache 12 meters at 36 degrees from origonal location hope it dosnt create to many issues
thanks mrtack

sent a new log book and container down for this one hopefully in place now sorry for any inconvinence
Did the full circuit but the cache seems to have gone. A tree has been chopped down in the area.
felt like we were driving around in circles, especially when we got the coords for GZ.

A nice tour around Rokeby with Ordex in the car tonight
Found relatively quickly... worked out basically where GZ would be about 2 waypoints beforehand haha!

Very enjoyable. Learnt about the history of the area. Had muggles in the area. Deb acted like an idiot on the swing to distract them while I replaced the cache.Took nothing but left a Bling Bling.
Last cache before tea with the "Team", gspblu and Red Tag. A pleasant multi with interesting history and nice flat walking tour. Thanks for the mrtack. TNLN
Nice walk around Rokeby just on dusk. I don't think I knew there was any history here so you learn something all the time caching. We walked around quietly and was good to finish near where we had left the car.TNLN Thanks mrtack.
A nice straightforward multi was just what we needed at this time of night. Nice to have the company of gspblu and rebulus. Also handy to have three sets of eyes looking for information as none of us can see that well. TFTC mrtack. TNLNSL
It has been a while since i was last out caching, so i thought we'd look in on the Rokeby area. i like caches with a history theme, so i enjoyed this one. i too was surprised that the '67 busfires got out that far.
I was not 100% sure of each of the answers, as some of them were a little vague, (specifically in relation to the date of the Chapel, as the centre figures indicated the same number), however i applied the WAG principle (wild arsed guess) which paid off.

Well, that was fun! After thinking we were in for a quick traditional, a chance glance at the GPS told us it was a multi! But fun was had, and the cache was finally found (after a lunch break!) In reguards to the escargot quip by SamCarter, please see picture. Please note: they are just good friends!
TNLN TFTC!
TNLN TFTC!
I admit that SG-3 and I were a bit pathetic on this one: taking the car to the different waypoints, stopping for lunch in the middle of the hunt (although we could have had escargot at GZ), and experiencing déjà vu on a couple of occasions. In fact, we could have done what I call a "Rabbito's leap of faith" if we'd been game, but we appreciated the history lesson and were surprised to learn of the full extent of the 1967 fires (something we'd always envisaged as a "western shore" event). TNLN and TFTC.
It was good to have some success after coming from a DNF at "junior farmer". The young 'uns loved the mystery of finding out what happened to the buildings. A great way to bring some interest to an otherwise pretty dry and tired historic walk! Loved the bucking bronco at the nearby playground. 6 y.o. took turtle toy, and we left puzzle cube.
Lots of zigs and zags...nice twist at the end..Grrr.Liked the history.TNLNSL TFTC Cheers.
We have finally got back to complete this one. Cacherboy enjoyed the playground while we logged. Thanks for replacing it Mr Tack. Enjoyed the multi part some months ago, so glad to finish it off.
took-nothing, left-wooden dancing tortoise.

finaly got to fix this one up lost all stuff in transit but has new container and log book cheers mr tack
We enjoyed following the windmill trail to all the waypoints. Unfortunately this cache appears to have been muggled. We found possible cache content remains (card from mondo doll)around ground zero as well as lots of rubbish.
Thanks for the stroll around this nice area.

Really enjoyed this one - my first multi-cache! Nice easy find. Really enjoyed walking around this area (close to my childhood upbringing). Had lots of fun! Invited my parents along and introduced them to geo-caching. And, of course, Dad (Old Rooster???)found the cache! Thank you very much Mr Tack!

Used to speed though this area many times a night in my old profession completely oblivious to the history of the area.
I loved the final cache placement, I've been waiting for one to turn up like that.
TNLN - thanks

we enjoyed the history and the search; came all the way from the states for this one
Took Granny on the tour, got a number wrong somewhere but re-did the waypoints again and found the answers.
Took nothing, left a new log book bag as the original bag has holes in it. Next visitor may care to leave a small pencil.
Thanks Mr Tack.

I was not aware that there was such damage this far down the eastern shore in '67. Thanks heaps for the chance to learn more history mrtack, it was fascinating. TNLNSL
Really enjoyable walk around the town.
Very interesting history of the area. Mr Cheesy Pigs colleagues were keeping a pretty sharp eye on us passing us in the street many times.
Had a ball walking around and reading the signs.
Thanks Mr Tack, fine work indeed

This was an excellent cache - all manner of history that we had no idea about. Felt that we were being watched on many sides and had the lizard story all ready . . . but managed to retrieve without being intercepted! Took compass, Left magnetic frog and lizard - just to help the lizard hunting story along!! Thanks for bringing us her.
Take two.
Arrived today with diversion in tow in case of inquisitive muggles, but not a sausage, no interruptions at all. Found easily this time. Took fish left stretchy lizard (so now people aren't lying when they say they are looking for one!). Thanks MrTack.

An interesting look at a history I didn't know the area had! Took luggage tag and left geocaching compass. Thanks Mr Tack
Ah...great minds think alike Caxixi....got there just before you for this one but got muggled while casing the joint.
"Are you looking for a lizard? There was a chap here yesterday said he saw a really unusual lizard and he was in there looking for it too!"
"Yes, that's just what I'm looking for. I saw it run in there!"
SO....Who's game to put up their hand for a DNF?
Good hide and a great history lesson Mr Tack. Thanks for this one. Took dinosaur, left luggage identification tag, SL

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is so funny!! El golco, Mr CP is the one whose footsteps you were following in!! He wasn't going to log a DNF, as he was 'scared off' by the woman before he could find the cache, and she wouldn't leave him alone to continue his search! He was following in Snuva's pawprints by saying it was a lizard!! She had originally asked him if he was looking for birds eggs (?)
Muggles do make this game more 'interesting'!!

What interesting notes, since I last looked - and printed(!!!!), so I'm quite pleased with myself at finding this one on the old information (like Snuva and Brekel, also deduced the mystery number). But I'd been a little concerned when I was in a very suburban-type area trying to find WP4 with every house up that-a-way seeming to own ferocious dogs - luckily contained within their yards. But my progress could be monitored along the streets by the tearing at the gates as I passed each one!!!!! Regardless of this I really enjoyed the tour, and had often seen the signs for the historic trail and wondered what it was about. So I'm most thankful mrtack at finally getting me to go and have a look around. I certainly hadn't realised the history of the area. Now I might go back to check out 'the pines' - I went back to the info sign at GZ but couldn't see it mentioned on that one. It's fascinating history.
Took kangaroo keyring, left music notes stamp.
Thanks again.

SORRY for all the dramas with this one found the problem with wp 4 and have made changes-had typed the[ bd] the wrong way round thanks for help snuva
I enjoyed this cache so much, I decided to visit the area again to check out some of the information I didn’t get to the first time. We arrived at one of the sites and the group that researched, created and maintains the trail and historic sites was there. They saw me looking at the information, and one of them came over asking if I needed any help. I didn't explain geocaching but said a friend of mine, as a way of showing us the trail, had set a bit of a challenge for others to collect various bits of information from the signs along the walk. They were absolutely thrilled that people were taking an interest in their walk! He spent a lot of time talking to me, pointed out where you can see a little of the foundations of a chapel, explaining that the building ran parallel to the main road with the walls of the chapel approximately where the front fence is now and that the original fence was approximately where the edge of the bitumen is, what the site looked like when the group started cleaning it up, some history of the tomb stones, etc. Originally there were large farm gates, and carriages would be brought in and the horses grazed in the churchyard/cemetery during services. He told me what it was like the day of the bush fires; the area wasn't on water mains, just tank water, and all anyone could do was just get out of their houses as quickly as possible and stand in the middle of the streets watching their homes burn. Etc - we spoke for a long while!
They have gotten funding to put out a book, so any of you cachers lived in this area or have relatives that live in this area and might have any info or photos that might be interesting for their book, please contact Wendy Andrew on 03 6247 6925!

An enjoyable multi!
The waypoint before the final cache location seems to be wrong to me, but by a bit of deductive reasoning I managed to figure out what 'w' was by two different methods, both of which agreed.
Final co-ords spot on. Had the other car, so no swaps with me. TNLNSL.
Thanks MrTack.

Had some difficulties with a couple of waypoints on this one and while able to redeem one with the help of the excellent information at the sites, the co-ords calculated for GZ indicated quite a distance out to sea.
Now let me just mention here that the words "calculate" and "el golco" do not sit well together and there is a strong possibility of operator error so will revisit very soon.
Nonetheless, a most enjoyable reminder, on a beautiful, balmy Spring evening, of what used to be in this area when el golco and family would pass through here on the way to holiday at South Arm many years ago!
el golco will return!
Now let me just mention here that the words "calculate" and "el golco" do not sit well together and there is a strong possibility of operator error so will revisit very soon.

Cache #2 of our ‘well, if we can’t sleep we may as well be caching’ dawn expedition!
This was a FANTASTIC multi! Driving past, the signs regarding this has always intrigued me – I’ve been meaning to check out its cache-worthiness for ages but hadn’t gotten to it. I was truly surprised at the fantastic information signs in the area, as well as a bit saddened by what has been lost in this area. At least effort has gone into researching and posting the history around for all to see and learn. There were some pretty obvious things that I never realised were here – who would have known driving past that there is a Village Green! We had a good walk around – especially as I think my female slave flubbed one of the waypoints – but the cache had taught us enough about the history of the area to compensate. Cache found with no worries, and what a surprise! FTF! I hadn’t expected it to last overnight without being found! So at 6:35 am, if I remember the time right, Snuva was able to claim a surprise FTF!!!! Brilliant work for the female slave that early in the morning (she really doesn’t function well while the hours are in single digits)!
But the surprises with this cache were not over even when we left the site, oh no! Upon arriving back at Snuva HQ, the male slave had just received a phone call from colleagues of that devious cacher, Mr Pig of Cheesiness! They phoned claiming to check if the cacheVan had been nicked as a neighbour of the cache had reported that it had been driven up at a strange hour of the morning and ‘abandonded’. However WE know it’s just Senior Constable Pig gathering intelligence on Snuva’s movements! Didn’t stop us finding though, did it! Your evil plan failed!! HAHA HAHAHAHA!!!! Must be calm. . .
So thank you very much, mrtack!!!!
