Logs
Thanks Shifter Brains for another tricky but rewarding cache. The cache was pretty wet inside but the log was good inside the snaplock. After a DNF a while ago we thought we would give it another try. We looked for a good 15mins and as the mini cacher was ready to give up mum spied it at last! Coords are good but the cache looks different from previous photos. Not quite a FTF but First name on the new log!
Pretty sure where it was, but there was a big spider in the way so kids said NOPE!
There was a great big SPIDER so that was a big Nono but pretty sure we know were it was.
First time fail second time success! Thanks to the helpful comments of others! Coordinates slightly off. Hint below ....Not a live tree
Lots of trodden fauna and grass make me think many people have tried looking. I'm guessing it is around a large tree at the reserve as that's where my map pointer took me.
Found it. Its still there. Keep looking. Spoiler below. .....Youll need to move some cambium.
It was wet, overgrown, and our first attempt. 4 kids who dont like spiders and half were wearing crocs!! Will try again when its drier.
Had a good look around, followed suggestions from others, still couldnt find it. Could owner please check if cache is still there?
Found by Beau and Billie Cassin Put some new treasure inside for the next kids
The kids and I looked for 15mins and couldnt find the cache. I looked through the logs and thought Id found the spot the photo from the 9/9 was taken but still no luck. Will be back to try again another day
After having a trackable for a little too long, I went and placed this little guy inside this cache that i had previously found...
We went through the bushes and the mud no container. Very dissappointed. The description is not good and there isn't a hint I call this a fail but great view.
Used the photo taken 9/9/23, and wallah, CIH, what a lovely park. Thank you for showing me this place, SB
If it wasn't for the recent CO update I may have given this one a miss, even though it's only a short walk from our accommodation. It actually turned out to be simple find if you trust your GPSr. I had a short wait for a muggle to wander off but, other than that, sweet as TFTC
Cache still there, contents slightly damp so replaced. Cache is not at large tree photo shows view from just above cache location.
Spent a good while with the kidlets looking for this one to come up empty handed, way to over grown, sadly missed this one. Might be time some maintenance and a replacement on this one as way to shrubby for the kids
Spent a good while walking circles and then got way too excited at finding someone's lost plugger
Found it! I've been meaning to try this one for a while and finally got the opportunity to give it a go. The terrain and sporadic muggle activity had me feeling a little awkward, but after ducking and hiding from muggles a couple of times, I managed to make my way to GZ and saw a likely hiding spot. Thanks!!
Disappointed but shrubbery was overgrown and I did not wear boots nor bring gloves. Hoping to return and find
too shrubby and we weren’t putting our bare hands in any of the shrubs
We are on a five day holiday to the Central Coast, staying at the NRMA/Big4 Ocean Beach Holiday Resort (caravan Park) in Umina Beach. Looking to do some of the many Central Coast Adventure Labs, visit some previously solved Puzzle/Mystery cache GZs, and to collect any other caches we come across during our daily travels. This was the 4th of 5 finds for the day, and 4th find of the holiday.
Parked the geomobile at the end of Welwyn Grove (street) then ducked down through the railway pedestrian underpass, past the Navel Cadets HQ, and around to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. We had a quick look at the old wharf remains, and read the signage, before we departed. TFTC Shifter Brains.

Find #5511
Needing a quick find today, i had read the logs during lunch, and went straight to the general area, and soon had Cache in hand. TFTC.
Thus is a nice little spot at the end of an interesting road. Nice and peaceful here tonight with no muggles around.
The find took us a little while as our gps was pointing us a little bit away from GZ. After having a think about where we might make a hide in this area, we soon had cache in hand.
The area is looking a bit trampled at the moment, possibly as the wet weather hasn't given it a chance to recover.
Thanks for the Cache and for bringing us to this nice area.

What a beautiful place this area is. Straight to it. TFTC JenneG and Budgy. North Nowra.
Passed by the second time round and named it with the help of previously successful cachers! Nice spot, TFTC
Now that we are coming out of lockdown this cache is now available to find.
Thank you for your patience and to all of you who have been vaccinated.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, we feel that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME. Unfortunately, the situation is not improving and there have been an increase in the number of finds on our caches.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, we have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find it WILL be DELETED.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to bringing our caches back into play after the restrictions are lifter.

Went by yesterday but being a beautiful day the muggles were out in droves. Was raining today so gave it another shot. Much easier to search and cache was found in a few mins. Thanks
Second time lucky today hooray! We searched in the same spot last time and couldn't find it, but did today!
Thanks for the tip to follow the small track which gave us confidence we were in the right spot

Took a while to find it but had a fellow geocacher help with hints which was so nice, the kids loved running around looking for it
Found with Shaneo58, while down at the Central Coast, trying to do a Adventure Lab in the area. Nice little walk to get here for a fairly fast find.
**Thanks For The Cache** Shifter Brains.
This is the 2nd cache of 7 for today making a grand total of 3167 at 9:39:00 AM on ThursdayMay2021

Up into that soo many spiders. TFTC (nice view from the seating across the road)
Was having a bike ride and picnic nearby and thought we check for any caches. Bush pretty thick but no luck.
Cache placed in correct place, and added camouflage over it. Please ensure that it is concealed. Log book okay with only one signature on it.
Having an appointment in the Gosford area meant we also had the chance to pick up a few caches while in the general location with ilook4geo.
There was no problem in finding this cache and the log was soon signed with both names. Thanks go to Shifter Brains for placing this cache with such lovely water views.

Came along here with goingplaces2 and made the find despite all the muggle activity. Cache was replaced securely as found. TFTC.
Nice cache. Looks like it’s rolled away from its position into a random spot. So we put it back somewhere that would make sense we think. Has a new log book. Nice.
Found with Koko. Previous comments no longer apply because a newbie has “camouflaged” it. Now, it is definitely NOT in plain sight. Don’t change things newbies!!! Difficulty level should be higher now. We only found this cache because we looked back through previous photos. Took us about 20 minutes to find. You need to walk into the bush for this one! TFTC.
