Very appropriate name. Took some time with the muggles around. My location on GPS was S33*52.477 E151*12.638
As mentioned in the clue, it's tough getting a good GPS fix but the clue is spot on. You do have to be stealthy with lots of mugles, especially when school lets out! Log is in bad shape though. TNLNSL TFTC!
A quick find and an aptly named cache. TFTC!
I too would like to take a moment of silence to honour those caches that were carefully placed and have since been muggled, washed away, overgrown with nature etc. May their inevitable demise not discourage us from hiding more.
My GPS had the cache at S 33° 52.499 E 151° 12.625
And can those cachers who follow me please try to take care when re-inserting the log in its container. This is one is getting a little ripped to shreds and won't last much longer without care.

Muggles swarming everywhere but a mobile phone and rummaging through an open bag made for an easy retrieval. TNLNSL Thanks Grank.
After checking out the beautiful war memorial we found this
little hide. Lovely spot and easy find.

An appropriate find for Anzac Day. We'd like to especially remember the Wlliam Park Cache (appropriately one of Grank's) that was the only really large sized cache we have ever seen within the CBD. Perhaps a resurection might occur once all the renevations at the cache site have been completed.
Had tried this one before, but our GPS put us about 50m away in a tree. We finished some Two-Up (Anzac Day tradition) and a few pints at Scruffy Murphy's, then had some sushi for dinner on the tomb.
Coordinates put us about 50m from the cache location.

The bad weather helped to keep all the muggles away and so my third attempt was sucessful.
Found the sarcophagus pretty easy @ 1530. Way too many muggles to have a search. Came back later at approx 1700, had a quick look, but no luck due to having no steel ruler to retreive cache. Unable to log, but count this as a find.
It is with some guilt I write this log...A quick find, but completely stuffed up replacing the cache. That's the bad news. Could the next visitor please bring a metal ruler (this will make sense when you get here)? Alternatively, I'm here weekly, so will fix up my mistake next Monday.
Oh, the shame of it all! Top spot for a cache though.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache,
best wishes,
Wal

5TH Oz cache - visitng from NZ. This is a very neat cache - good to remember all those caches that are no longer available or have been muggled. Thanks - a lovely spot too.
Our first Australia cache. Lots of muggles around, but easy to find, especially with two of us there - one as a lookout and the other doing the work. Thanks. Here's to all the caches we've looked for that turned out to be no longer in existence, and we found out after the fact.
Thought we were in the right spot, but couldn't find this one. We'll try later on...
Quick find with some help from Alpini after a pleasant visit to the Dinosaur exhibition at the Aussie Museum.

We had a nice stroll around the park and visited the ANZAC memorial before hunting down the cache. Found without problem. Thanks for placing a cache in this beautiful park.
Peak hour caching can be pretty tricky, so had to return to this one later this evening to grab it. But otherwise an easy find. Thanks
Apologies for the late logging of this cache - last year was manic. Its bringing back lovely memories though logging them on their anniversary.
We needed the clue for this one, but then it was an easy find. TFTC.

Found this one no problems once the homeless guys left the area.

One of the earliest caches in our memories was a strange little cache in a park called "come play with me I'm lonely"
and this was quite literally the case only one poor little spring based childrens horse and not another swing to see, sadly it has been archived, not really much of a cache but I always remember it for some reason, the tomb on the other hand was a pleasant wander through the park between several other caches an easy find once you know north from south and east from west, TFTC SL

When looking for caches in cities I usually rely on GoogleMaps. Though, it looks like GoogleMaps in Sydney is not as accurate as what I'm used to from Berlin, Germany. For instance, this one I found about 20 meters away from where Google had lead me. But thanks to the description and the hint that wasn't too big a deal.
Patience and stealth completed this cache. Lots of muggles but coordinates were on.
The 8th of 25 finds, 3 DNF's and 1 DNA (did not attempt) on our 4 day trip to Sydney and return.
What a great area this part of the city this is. The walk down the tree lined path was excellent. The cache name was great for the location and it was just a matter of finding the correct 'point'.
Thanks for a cache in a relaxing part of town.
Cheers,

Cheers,
I was sitting back relaxing and watching the world go by while the boy was off doing a couple of others in the general area (one turned out to be a DNF for him ).
Upon his return, we ventured off down the path, over the road and onto to find this one together.
This was my first real good look over the park and surrounds and I look forward to coming back.
Thanks for the visit to the area.

had to wait a while for the mugglers to disapear ... fat chance ... but as ever patience works well and a few spy moves soon had the cache in hand.

A nice easy find at 1730hrs in a very busy spot. I turned the GPS off and put it away 50mtrs from the cache as the clue is very good. It was good to sit and relax while I grabbed the cache, signed and returned it. A very good spot for the inner city.

A quick find and a very appropriate cache location and idea. We recently had our first cache muggled and it wasn't pleasant, a real breach of privacy given that we thought we had hidden it so well. Probably worse than this was being the last person to find a cache that was then muggled soon afterwards, you almost feel responsible even though you know you were very careful. Thanks for this cache, hope it survives muggle free for many years to come.
found this one on the way to work, saw somethinhg interesting near gz, even though it was raining today, there was a sign to let people know that an irrigation system was being tested, not too bad if you consider we are on water restrictions.
Having gotten to Hyde Park, I wandered in and promptly lost signal on the GPS. Turns out I actually sat at GZ pondering where to go based on the GPS prior to entry.
I searched around nearby in some likely places and by the time I came to the conclusion that GZ was where I had oringally been, I came back to find some muggles sitting there.
Waited around on the bench opposite for a while but with no joy... so wandered off got some dinner and came back later and lo, the cache was found - thus making the 5th and final of the day.

My coordinates pointed me straight to a nearby tree, but thanks to having the Cache details with me - I didn't have any probs to find it.
YES!!
No wonder i couldnt find it before, i had the wrong coordinates!
Nicley hidden! Found in no time, after doing eletric harmony. Hiding spot does look like a tomb!!

Found at 1730. Having found a couple of monuments near GZ, one obviously wasn't going to house a cache, so wandered over to the other to a simple find and return. The cache name is a very fitting description.

Thanks Grank for the great cache.
I've been passing by so many times (as a muggle) and I would have never guessed..!!

En route for more caches today! for the first time I took my geopartner with me.. I hope she will bring me luck and enjoy geocaching!

Although the GPS signal was weak, we were rather sure that we were close to the cache. Nevertheless, we could not find it. After 15 minutes we gave up. The hint did not really help. We had no clue for its meaning. Back home, the Google maps showed us, that we were on the right spot. So, it must be a clever hide.
Took the geokiddie to the Observatory with her Aunt, and what better to do with a couple of hours to spare in the city that find a cache.
An easy find on another great Grank cache.
Thanks Grank.

Had a nice evening walk around the park with Gumpy Boy. Seen the bats flying around which was great. TFTC
Quick and easy find this evening. Took nothing, left a US dime. Signed the logbook too. Tenth cache - we have now reached double digits!

It was with head bowed that I approached this GZ. I too have felt the pain of caching loss
Many nights I have lain awake wondering if a cache is really there or has joined the long and distinguished list of fallen tupperware
What a fitting monument this cache makes [^]
It should stand the test of time due to it's fine construction
TFTC and the reason to remember (turn off the cameras please, I don't want you to see a grown cacher cry)
I've got to be strong... und try to carry on....

Yes i found it. My GPS told me it was the tree . To bad there was no place for the travelbug i had. Thanks for this cache!
I must congratulate the recent finders for placing the container back in the SAME position. Other SIMILAR positions result in a very wet log book. I had been planning the maintenance visit since early October but due to rain or work didn't make it ... but with only 5 places left on the current micro-log this was a well timed visit. New micro-log now in place; original pencil remains.
Found around 16:55 hrs this PM
I looked rapidly this beginning of PM but tooo many people. Now I just sat down and grabbed it. Replaced it exactly at the same place

21.30 found it easily in the darkness, nice hide. This will probably my most distant find for the next few years as we are leaving Sydney tomorrow morning. As requested I would like to dedicate the find to another lost cache: "GC136QD kisses me windy" which i had to archive for being muggled too often

Our first cache here in Sydney while visiting from New Zealand. Trepidation was huge as the fear of hunting in a nation of things small and large that can bite sting kill and maim you!! And lets not even talk about the BATS the size of CATs!!! Armed with a mirror and the "you look, no you!" and so the argument between us went!! LOL. Well we didnt join the caches that have gone before so we do not RIP we survived to go on to do another 20 sucessfully.
TNLNSLTFTC. Thanks Philma for our first intro to the great Sydney series of caches we completed.

I decided to take the leisurely stroll down here from Surry Hills with Spindoc & setsujoku as the rest of the UAT moved the car to a better location. Took a seat & had the cache in hand on the first grab.
Thanks for the cache Grank - this has always been a nice park.

We moved the car to a spot nearby and the Urban Assault Team reassembled. After taking a seat I quickly had the cache in the palm of my hand.

4pm. Down from Brissy for 3 days enjoying your Sydney city. What a lovely park and great place for a memorial. Our GPS was way out but we looked about for a likely place after digging around under the trees and our guessing paid off. TFTC. ...eatmorchickin & Stigglepot.
I was way off track for a little while there, but the right sense of scale and the clue got me there. Nice hide. So many muggles! TFTC
Had a break during lunch, so thought I would go and get it. After finding the area and going by the hint, I found GZ fairly easily. I love the thought put into the choice of this cache. It is just so appropriate. TFTC

I had a few attempts at this cache while in Sydney for the week. But unfortunately no find for me Even without finding the cache I really enjoyed the walk in the park and building nearby.
Argggh! So, today I visited GZ for the first time during daylight and realised my mistake but as I was "at work" I wasn't able to attempt it! Oh well, another trip.
Thanks Grank

Ha ha ha, I really enjoyed looking for this one, and I like the concept.
The GPS was almost useless, but after reading the hint I had some idea where it might be found.
I enjoyed finding "The tomb of the unknown cache".
This really is a tomb to those unknown caches that have disappeared off our screens forever.
Thanks Grank.
PS........For me, I'm grieving over the loss of a favorite cache of mine.
"Anchors Away", my pride and joy and close to home, was carted off by 2 council workers early one morning.
To "Anchors Away", I'll never forget you for the fun you gave me and many others. (sob)

The clue enabled us to make a quick and, we think, inconspicuous find. Thanks Grank
Visiting from California, my only cache find in Sydney. GPSr was wandering around a bit, point about 15 meters away, but narrowed down the only likely location. Used the hint to make a quick, inconspicuous find in a muggle-full location. Thanks for the hide!
Knew what to look for but needed Mrs Chicken to point it out. Coords did seem a little out. Easy retrieve. TFTC
Visiting Sydney for a conference from Adelaide. Took the boss for a spot of caching at lunch time and he was hooked. The coordinates appeared to be out by as much as 10 metres but found it in the end. Thanks for a treat while visiting your lovely city.
didnt find it. found a big hole that kinda looks like a tomb, but i couldnt feel anything down there-(my arms are a bit short!) had to go do jekyll and ???? first because of the muggles!!
A nice easy retrieve, despite the Saturday hoards of muggles. Sat on the sarcophagus and pretended to scratch. Was a nice day to be in the park - despite the water restrictions most of the fountains were playing. T4TC
The trees made this a bit tricky, as well as the groups of police patrolling for APEC. Clue was spot on, and managed to grab it under the noses of three muggles nearby. Thanks! My second overseas cache!
The other half had an attempt at this a few days earlier and seemed to look quite comfortable sitting and watching me while I headed off to GZ. On my return he had that all to familiar look of "I found it and you didn't" all over his face. Appears he was sitting right on it! Thanks Grank for the cache.
This one was a meaningful cache to find. I lost a TB in treebeard, just up the road. In honor of Lost in Space TB, I'm doing an in/out personal coin drop. Very well hidden, and very easy to manage the muggles. TFTC.
The rain let up just long enough to let me find this one and sign the log without it getting soaked.
Thanks!

An early morning excursion had me with the cache in hand, but only after reading the cache notes, having had no luck in a nearby tree! Well, it was early! TFTC

B-Team find while in town for work. A nice hide in a very memorable (and important) part of town. Plenty of folks heading through the park to get home at the end of a busy work day, none of whom paid me any attention while I completed the transaction. TNLN Good Luck!
I don't have the co-ords I recorded with me, but I found them to be about 20m out. Not too bad, as there weren't that many places to search. TFTC.
