Found on our journey away from the Mega. Today we are in Lithgow and doing some touristy things like attending Ironfest and the Small Arms museum. Still had time and energy for just a couple of caches though.
Cache was exposed, the bush is long gone, we covered it with some leaf litter.

We started our extended trip from Dural. Our first stop was at Berowra Waters. After, we made our way to Forster. Here we took part in an impressive swim with dolphin tour.
After, we continued to Nelson Bay where we had a relaxing couple of days on the beach. We took a little walk up to the summit and the former fort of Tomaree. Here we folowed the beautiful PT from Nelson Bay to Shoal Bay.
Continuing our trip to the Stockton Dunes, we took a quad bike tour along the beautiful dunes and past the ship wreck Synga.
Now we were leaving the coast to drive to the beautiful Hunter Valley wine region and of course tasted some wine.
Thank you for showing this nice places

Well that was very easy. It out in the open so will be interesting to see how long it lasts. TFTC

Sadly no find for us today. There has been a lot of clearing done in this garden in the last few days and it appears that ALL has been discarded.
well I found this one but it certainly isn't under a bush anymore.... there are no bushes or trees in this garden. the cache is still a little unobtrusive but I'm wondering how long that will last. might need a check up by co or a shift for a while.
cheers

After 2 previous DNF's it was a big surprise to arrive at GZ to find all the bushes and trees gone! The cache is now a very easy find and rather hard to hide from view. TFTC.
A little tricky but in the end there were no other places it could be hidden. Nice new log. TFTC.
Replaced with a mint tin. Near gz in a stump close to path, CO can come change this if they care to. Thank you.

Easy search but muggles told us that tree was being cut down tomorrow needs moving as ap tftc
Woohoo! Travelling back to Dubbo after Dr visit in Sydney. Was dark. Was worried it may have once been under bushes that have been recently cut down...you might want to keep an eye on this in case these bushes are next.
Picked up racing car TB to add a few miles to it.

My last cache for the day. Again, this is one that I'd had a few DNFs on, so I hoped that having a previous finder with me would result in better luck. And it did, but on a hide that was different to the one they'd previously found (different container & different hiding spot!).
Thanks

1 muggle leaves and 2 turn up, 1 lot was a family having dinner in view of the cache.
I quick find during a short detour off the highway. I am still catching up on the logs from the road trip, apologies for the delay. TFTC Scenic routers
Called in have had this one on the to stop lost for a while. Considering there was a find today thought why not. Sadly couldn't see it. Either I've been travelling too long or it wasn't replaced properly. Probably the first one lol
Quick find as it stood out like dogs balls. Covered it up a little. Swapped some travellers. Tftc
Found on a geo trip with tmann421, great area with lots of scenery to visit.
Thanks to all the geocachers in the area for bringing us to some great spots.
Sorry for the late & repeat logs, just so many to catch up on.

A quick, easy find... During which I had to hide amongst the bushes from the passing muggles - a surprisingly popular spot! Discovered TB 4NQE94, which wishes to travel Route 66, so left it there. Find #10 for today (of 15 - best day ever so far of my geocaching career, including #100!). Cheers!
Saw it immediately but ignored it because it was so out in the open. Finally looked after a five minute search in the bushes. Replaced with its camouflage. TFTC.
2531 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1405. A clever cache hide and had to look a couple of times to find. A favourite from us. SL Tnx Scenic routers.

Wet, bleak afternoon so no onlookers. Cache is nothing like the description but all is well with it. TFTC.
Took a little bit to find, actually in a completely black container, but I will say it is in a secured position. Tftc
After a find nearby, it was back to DNFs for us at this one.
We stopped on our way into Lithgow, but drove away when a muggle stopped right at GZ to smoke a cigarette.
Called in again on our way out of town, this time had the place to ourselves. Looked & looked & looked but eventually gave up.

Our second DNF for this one. We spread our search from the GZ either side of the path and from carpark to park area. We must be missing something or not getting low enough. We might be back in 2 days.
Had searched for this several times before with no luck. Finally found today - not quite what I was expecting. When is a shrub not a shrub? TFTC
This one took a bit of a search before we finally located it. I can't believe the amount of litter around- within a metre of a rubbish bin!

Disappointing, not sure when I will be back this way. Some confusion between reading logs, and original description...
I had looked for this cache before without success and now I know why, I was looking in the wrong place.
This time for some reason the cache was located after a short search, I widened my search area, maybe that's what made the difference.
Signed the log and replaced as found.

We Stopped for a while, We waited a while (Muggles), we looked for a while, we found it!
Thanks for the cache, Scenic Routers

Found with much scratching about.
Well hidden and yet not well hidden.
Fun park with muggles parking all the time.

DNF looked for about 30 minutes under every bush but no luck for me here. Walked through about five spiderwebs in the process too. Will try again some other time.
Found at last. though the container has changed from the one in the photo. It is a black round container and can still take small objects. I could keep an eye on it for you if you wanted as i live quite near. TFTC
Shrub is not so small anymore and don't be fooled by the description of a blue lid container is black. We are on a spree today!!! Tftc, sl
OK, so last night Mrs O319 and I read every log and looked at the picture file. Did the phone a friend thing again. This morning we went back and turned everything we could upside down. No find, not even the incorrect cache with the black lid. So either the cache difficulty rating needs to be increased, or the clue revised. We are closing in on 1500 caches so are not novices and have seen nearly every type of hide, but this one is obviously very tricky.......
Will pass by once again in the morning so if you would like you give me a ring on 0419 295 458 and explain it to me, maybe we can find it...
