I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi MORDOR&ANDRE
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
This cache has not been found in the past three years. We had a very good look for it and covered all possibilities but no dice. Perhaps the cache owner could archive if not going to check or maintain it? It is a good spot for a cache being at the end of the road. We were disappointed not to find it as it is an oldie. I have since read that the coordinates may be well out but we did widen our search and covered a lot of ground looking for it.
Here today with jude_e, we searched in lots of likely spots with no luck. It hasn't been found in several years, I think it needs maintenance
What a shame, tide was wrong, if only I had gone there first on my day out! Pristine beach and one fisherman casting out and reading the paper in between. I'll be back!
No luck today! Spent ages here. Saw where the cache could have been. May need checking.
Looked and looked. Had no clues as the cellphone app wouldn’t load. Was blind searching with the compass proving unreliable. Thanks anyway. Will return.
This was our main aim for the afternoon and well worthwhile. Lovely spot and lucky farmer to be living here at the end of the road. We scrambled over the rocks at half tide thinking there must be an easier way. Great volcanic rock formations. Took us a while to find the cache but we were accompanied by a fantail who was enjoying the insects we were disturbing. Several times we thought we would give up but eventually found it well away from our co-ordinates. Lots of fun with KotukuSI. TFTC
I had had this cache in my sights for such a long time; when it came to actually having the time to look, I forgot abt logistics such as tides. (Some of the D/T series were the extra incentive I had needed to come ver this way).
Gorgeous setting ! Set out later than we'd planned, peter 007 and I . Gosh - bit of a rock hopping scramble but got to the co-ords safely. Searched high & low, managing to avoid the cache from all sides for quite a long time - it's abt 10m close to the car park than the co-ords.
Excellent to have a decent sized cache; thanks MORDOR&ANDRE for the cache and the experience.

Caching day with the whanau, dragging the boys along also as we do not get many opportunities nowadays to cache as a team. The ambivalent morning turned into a nice mostly sunny day, and we managed to get to a few! TFTC!!

Yay!! A scheduled geocaching day off motherhood for me, a day of daddy bonding for hubby (Though baby is always so well behaved for him that it's totally not fair!!! ), and so mum & I were off to go find as much as time would allow!! (But mum thought it was a good idea to bring the boys also!! So it ended up being as much as time & the boys would allow before they started complaining too much about the fact that we were caching... ended up with 38 though if my calculations are right - and quite a few high T - so not too bad.
We signed all the logs as Team Polak for simplicity sake, and time sake, and save the trees sake. (Though neither of the two of us who will actually log these are Polaks anymore anway!
Easy find - lovely to find a historic beauty!!

What a great spot and a great cache!!! Always loved watching Camp Mother and Camp Leader, they sure did know how to make us laugh
Awesome location - my last cache on my journey from Diamond Harbour to here on bike. I have the scrapes to prove it, but it was fun.
1st day of school hoildays and off we go out this way to get away from technology. With the kids we went to camp bay and explored the area and grabbed caches. Sorry for the copy and paste. Thank you for placing and maintaining Kamp Mother (Canterbury) geocache, from Mr Cuddly Brick Found on this awesome day the 16 December 2016, sweet cache number # 1617
#12788. We got closer than expected on the track down from the car park, and were left with a short scramble around the rocks. Cache was quickly found and is in good condition. Good to find a cache that is over 10 years old. TFTC.
The puzzles in the D/T series with solutions on the other side of the harbour have been beckoning us for a while and today, with the mild weather forecast, seemed an ideal opportunity to turn as many as possible into smiles.
My first visit to Camp Bay. We were very pleased to see an easy track to within 100m of GZ then a bit of scrambling was required. Great place, with the volcanic rocks and the remains of the old pier, well worth the long and winding road to get here. Good to find an old cache still going strong. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.

Beautiful bay. Tide was on its way in but no problem getting around to GZ. TFTC

Jinta29 and I decided to head out this morning to grab and grab as many D/T combinations as possible. The Green Geckos decided to join us so off we went.
Great walk to this one. Took us a while to find as coords had us 15mtr away, but we expanded after reading the hint.
MORDOR&ANDRE - Kyzabra found your cache Kamp Mother (Canterbury) on 26/10/2015, 8:38 AM. This is my find #4195 and find #20 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Kyzabra and I headed over for the Christchurch Mega from Perth, WA. We teamed up with The Green Geckos for the DT series today.
A lot of planning was involved with literally hundreds of puzzles solved and we targeted some highly favorited caches as well as those that filled gaps in grids and calenders!
We had a fantastic time caching in the cooler climate and with no fear of snakes or other nasties! Christchurch is my old home town but I did not know about caching when I lived there so it was fun exploring the City with a different objective.
We were glad to grab the smiley on this one and we replaced the container as found. Thanks MORDOR&ANDRE for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

I was out this way with BaldEd doing the D/T series and I couldn't leave these alone.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
After a picnic on the beautiful beach , we were still searching this box . After a short search , we were also able to find .
Thanks
Thanks
I am not shur if we should have a permit for this path or not. Anyway we fou d the box after a little hunt. Thanks
Find 2003. I was having a lovely day collecting FTFs on the new D/T puzzles over here and couldn't leave this one behind. Hmm. Low tide at about 9am, high tide around 3pm and it's about midday now. Maybe I'll just start around there and see how it goes. Well I made it okay and I figured if I was quick it'd be fine. Of course I couldn't find the cache. Blast. Checked the hints, spotted something I'd missed, tried again. Nope. Check the hints again, oh! A bit more hunting and there it was! So apparently there's something in the old saying "more haste, less speed". Really stoked to get this one, I've looked at the cache page on and off for years. Made it back to the car without getting wet feet, too, which was a bonus.

We sailed here from Diamond Harbour, anchored in a sheltered wee bay around the corner and found a good spot to row our dinghy to, allowing us to disembark without getting wet feet. After dragging the dinghy out of the water and tying it to a tree, I looked up and immediately saw the cache just poking out from its very good hiding place. So an easy find but a great adventure getting here. It was our first visit to this lovely bay and after signing the log we took the path around to the beach for some exploring. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here, we had an awesome day!
Great cache for number 1900. Been a long time since l have been here for a swim. TFTH
Found it while picnicking with our grandchildren. Needed a bit of help form Teledemon who had found it some time ago as GPS was about 25m out.

Nearby so went that wee bit further to make the find. Expanding search soon netted the prize. Cache all well and good and in tip-top condition. Nice spot. Cheers.
This was the furthest point on our adventure today and what a lovely secluded bay it is! After the walk and reasonably easy find we enjoyed taking some pics and chatting to the friendly horses. Thanks for bringing me here. Logged as NosyCat with Nosynel. TFTC
Took a nice drive to Camp Bay. First time we had visited - what a lovely spot. The nearby cache looked like beckoned. With the tide in and small waves lapping the cliffs, RogoBaby and I left Yorkshire P sitting on the rocks as we made our way around the cliff side. RogoBaby investigated the interesting cave. It took some manoeuvring to duck under the low hanging cliff but we only got our shoes a little wet. We looked at the coords - no luck. Then looked at the hint and shifted our focus. No luck. We may have to return when we have more time.
Found at our lunch stop after a cycle to Emerald Bay with a few other cachers. TFTC!
First one here after winter's rain and contents were very wet. Dried it we'll but threw out mouldy paper, so this needs a new cache note,
Certainly an epic location. A really good reason to be doing this slightly odd hobby. +1 from me. Thanks MORDOR&ANDRE for placing this cache.

Cache in top condition, especially for its age. +1 from me.
Found on an extended Queens Birthday road trip with the infamous Kiwi_Explorer. Thank you for this cache and your contribution to Geocaching in general.

This one was a little off for us, but we were prepared for a bit of a search after reading the logs. Once we got to where GZ should have been, we stopped looking at our GPSrs and used our geosense.
Eventually found but this is not what I would call within the roots of the tree. I think clue # 1 is a little misleading as it took us away from GZ & getting frustrated. On the upside it was obvious once we were in the correct area (not in roots). Lovely walk too & took turtle TB.
A beautiful day for a drive to out of the way caches. There were some paua fishers lust below GZ but I was lucky that they moved on and didn't look up. Thanks for the hide.
This took a little while. Ended up being found, not 'within' but more 'on top' (when the hiding spot used to be placed differently).
Very nice spot here. We could understand why people fall in love with NZ.
Fount at 12:14 - #2744 with Alexesmann
Dropped off a TB here - a portugese turtle that wants to live near water

Nothing found at GZ. Checked the hint, nothing found there either. Wandered around checking other possibilities. Returned to hint location and eventually found the cache buried under 30cm dirt that had fallen onto it. Rehid as per hint. Took TB. TFTC.

TFTC. This was a wander in paradise. So peaceful and the water crystal cleaar. The treasure is in a container of suitable size for the big outdoors.
Loved the walk over the rocks. Very cool. Thanks to theroamingreliever for pointing out as gps was off. Tftc
Found easily without needing the clues after walking around the rocks (and returned via the track as the tide had come in). The cache was quite exposed, so have put it in a more suitable spot in the immediate area (at the same object). GPS was a bit off - indicating it was 22m away! Neat rock pools on the way to the spot! Had a lovely time sitting nearby in the sun on the pine needles having a cuppa.

Seen some snorkellers in the freezing cold water, brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, nice walk though
A very nice young man helped me scramble over the rocks to get to the cache. We then met some people who told us that there was a track through the trees and we got back to the car without any trouble. TFTC
Was looking in the wrong place but got there eventually. Nice spot for a swim cheers.
(39) 6th cache for the day, Mini Brogan found this one and picked a great spot to look at the spoils.. We dropped off PATHTAG Jandelfan.. Wonderful spot and we will be back here once the weather gets hot the beach is beautiful, and nice rock pools.. SL
Paddled around from Purau to <100m to this one,
but Mrs S.t. wasn't keen on a surf landing so we continued on our way then came in by road.
Cache was a little exposed, but not any more.
Cheers and thanks,

Yippy We are first to find it this year.It was a pity to find signs saying NO DOGS ON BEACH.So as we had Bonnie our Geodoggie with us,Womble Terry walked to this one on his own.He found a nice seat dedicated to Paul Stapylton Smith where he sat and admired the view.TN Left a Gray Seal.TFTC.
We walked along what seemed to be a public track right next to the beach, then over the rocks to the cache, which was easily found. TFTC
Easy find on a lovely day. Container was sitting in the open so placed back with some more discretion. Did not know we had to ask for permission till I went to log the visit; there were no signs stating such but no-one mentioned anything. TFTC.
A wonderful little bay with lots to look at and explore. Found the cache easily-think we were just behind some other cachers??? Left a little blue Geofish so he could smell the sea air. Thanks for bringing us over here. We'll be back...
A friend with a new boat invited us out for a day around Lyttelton so off we went. After much racing around I mentioned a geocaching and this was the nearest one. We pulled into a tiny little beach on an outgoing tide, I raced over and found the cache then spent the next 15 minutes trying to get the boat afloat again. Funny in hindsight but not at the time. TNLN Thanks.
Wow - the bellbirds were really enjoying the flowers on the succulents on the way to the cache. Spent more time taking photos of them Cheers Gav [3831]
Busy place today but had GZ to myself, first time I have been here.

Not exactly sure of the date (it gets like that at ths time of year while on holiday). TFTC - nice spot, must walk the full track sometime!
The road a little to "Rural" for my car but took it slow and got there in the end. Nice little bay and the cache was easily found. Took Dory TB and will keep it moving. TFTC
First find of the day with lyttletonwitch. The tide was in so no beach walk for us we had to take the high track. Left Dory TB as this looked like a great place for a swim.
Was the first find for the day on a trip out with HelloMrs. Is the first trip we have out together for ages.
2nd find on a lovely walk from Purau on a nice warm winters day. Needed the 1st clue after GZ was about 10m away - easy after that. T guitar pick, L fish skeleton TFTC
Quick find at this neat spot after biking from Charteris Bay. Checking the cadastral map, there is legal public access right to the cache. TNLN
Combined a trip to the beach with finding this cache. As others have found our GPS put us a wee bit out from the actual cache, which is in any case very identifiable. Swapped dog collar in and dog out... Made sure that the cache was invisible to muggles.....
Never knew the path was there. Always liked this beach, great for a family picnic.
Great !!! Our favourite cache of the trip so far. A little walk, great location, and not too hard a find, but not too easy either. Really enjoyed being here in the cool at the end of a long hot day.

Kiwijam chose the lower of the two but I picked the other track and reached the cache site first. A quick find, seems a couple of muggles have also found it on their walks past.
Didn't know what the photo with numbers on the back meant, but it seemed to be cache related so we left it there. (I've forgotten what the numbers were anyway. Are they part of another cache?)
Anyway, enjoyed this one. Thanks for the cache!

A sunny day, time for some sandcastles and boogie-boarding. Found myself at a dead-end by the jetty at first, but I retraced my steps to find the correct path, a nice scenic walk. Thanks.
I have been to this area a few times so found the cache no problems,, a lovely wee place even when the weathers not so nice,,cheers
Today was the day for a Diamond Harbour cache attack. This was first on the list as the high spring tide was well on it's way in when I left home (over an hour away). Clambered around the rocks and soon had the cache in my hands. A quick log fill and I had to scarper if I was not to get my boots all wet. TNLN T4TC.
Paddled around here from Purau bay, not a great distance and a nice trip.Had no paperwork and in fact hadnt looked at the page for a long time.
GPS took us to a slip and we searched for a long time to no avail, it now seems we needed to cast the net a bit wider, now we an excuse for another trip here
Cheers,

1287. We had been waiting a long time for the opportunity to do this cache and today was a lovely day to be down by the sea. Rodney managed to do great acts of kindness as we walked across the rocks both going and coming. On the way to the cache there was a young boy who had slipped off the rocks into the sea and he was yelling very loudly as he got more and more upset, crying out that he couldn't swim and needed help. A lady came racing through the water from the beach and we thought she must be the mother but no, she plucked him out of the water and gave him to Rodney who then looked around for his family - who were sitting paddling their feet in a pool and just watching as other people rescued their by now very distressed son. They hadn't even moved! Then on the way back, the same family group had decided to walk back and the last girl was too scared to climb up the rocks and her mother, who this time was with her, couldn't manage to get her up. So Rodney, the gallant knight, carried the girl up to safety! Oh and in between the cache got found!
Thanks

Have added two more clues that will make finding this cache a breeze as cachers to date have either not found, or have reported varying co-ordinates at GZ. Happy hunting.
Found the bay welcoming and spent a while examiing rock pools before getting to the serious business of finding the cache. Think the trees are inteferring with the signal, GPSr pointed about 20m away but we had found the cache was jumping between 2 and 6 metres. TNLN
After doing Myth's Castle - I carried on my Kayak journey, and paddled to here. It was interesting landing here, as the easterly had picked up, and there was quite a swell.
And getting up the cliff was interesting too.
It took ages to find, and I would have been seriously grumpy if I'd paddled all that way, and had to paddle all the way back without finding it. The ever-increasing circles method eventually worked though. TNLN.
Thanks for the excuse for an adventure.

I wasn't sure if this really deserved a needs maintenance - but I'll do one anyway.
I zeroed about 20m away ( further along the track from the road ) from where I eventually found the cache.
Between there and the cache - there were 5-10 of the items mentioned in the clue - all of which I hunted.
Where I zeroed there had been a slip - and it wasn't clear whether it had slipped before or after the cache was placed.
I would suggest that if you're going to place a cache this far away, it is nice to make the clues a giveaway. Perhaps if you hadn't kept going - you wouldn't have realised how many there are there. I'd suggest adding to the clues (a) a mention of the size of the item (the rest are small), and that it's only 1-2m from the track, and below the track.

Checked the cache and all is in order. It's not so hard to find although it is well hiden and not visible until you get up close. You will need to walk across some rocks or take the track to find it.
Quite a place, it's gorgeous. Arrived at low tide + 4hrs (which is far too late). Not sure if there is a sandy beach below all of the rocks, but I had to take the difficult way (so what's new). Scrambled 100M+ over the rocks then turned back before I was stranded. Cuts bruises and the broken leg are healing just fine Great day out. Mark.
Well, I was wide awake, so why not go out to find a cache, as well as use the outing to investigate the site for my next creation. And I knew I wouldn't have to compete with Mordor&Andre for this FTF. It was a quiet and pleasant morning round at Camp Bay - and it's definitely a good idea to go at low tide - I got in this morning before the tide rose too far. Uncooperative satellites and tall trees nearby made me waste ten minutes in the wrong spot, but the cache was soon found. OK, that's the beta testing done - now the rest of you can relax and get it any time you like!! I was going to leave a TB but it was too large for the box (which is more like 1.5litres than 3). No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf.
