Sadly, after nearly 5 years of service to 188 trackable items, the cache is definitely gone. With the continued expansion of the nearby facility and all the muggles into the area, replacement as a TB hotel is just too risky. Another TB transit point may appear along the Monaro Highway soon. Thanks for all the visits.

Found a hollowed out burnt stump that looked like the perfect place for a cache in the near vicinity of the cache co-ords. Had a good look around and tried out all possible hiding places for a cache of this size but no luck for a find. Cheers!

No luck finding it either...GPS put me close to a large tree, no sign of a cache..

But....I did find one of the TBs that was listed as being in this cache just down the road in one of Big On's newish ones

My first stop on the round the mountain walk. I'm with him (insert down arrow) My coords were out in the open, the logical looking nearby tree was empty.

Looked around the area, GZ had me in open ground which obviously isn't right.
The closest most likely location appears to be within the bounds of the laser skirmish field, a part of the paintball field complex.
Would not place one here as it's a great laser skirmish hiding spot.

Bad start to my walk around the hills for lunchtime today. Don't know why I can't find something as large as a TB hotel.
Must be blind. Doh.

Cache is missing, There's kids all over the area playing laser tag from the nearby paintball range and the hiding spot is empty.

Found it with very little trouble - much easier than my first (A Little Gem) - took one of the notes and left a little mosaic tile. Heard the paintballers not too far away!

NOTE: I believe everyone should AVOID leaving any travel bugs in this cache. Sophie la Somalienne was not found in the cache which suggests someone pilfers from this cache quite often as this coin was only dropped off 3 weeks ago!

Nice quite saturday out for a find or two and this one was on my list, no coins on me at the moment but will deposit now i know this is here. settled in to log the visit and about a hundred kids decended on me with toy guns so made up some stuff about going for a walk and needed a rest under the tree till they had gone!

Ashamed to say I didn't have a TB with me today to drop, but just did it for the numbers (I will beat Red Tag this month if it kills me!)

Found at 1513hrs, Walked in from "Melrose High", signed log, took a baseball bat TB and left nothing. Will move it along soon.

Nice find for GeoKidHugh and I. Took a TB left a pink hair tie. Fantastic sunset so I took a photo with my phone, which I will upload to the galary.

I dont' know if where I pulled off is really a parking spot, but it made for a short walk. Geohounds then looked at me guiltily so after finding GZ we then wandered around the tracks for a while, listening to the pop-pop sound sof the nearby paintball.

Grabbed 2 GC's since I am on a caching afternoon and will move them quickly, left, of course, some ratpack leavings!

Dusted the cobwebs off the bike and went after this one without the other Dinobots. Found this one pretty quickly after getting to the GZ.

Missed this one when in the area last night as the cold and the dark cut my activities short, so thought I'd take the hounds for a quick wander this morning. Much easier terrain during daylight hours! TNLN TFTC.

Nice easy find, ALTHOUGH, none of the coins listed were actually there. Would have been nice if people would log the takings on this website, as I had planned to take one back to Europe tomorrow. This particular coin's goal is to get back to Germany. This was the main reason I went to this cache to begin with, oh well.

Will return in future though.

After doing Eda the echidna. I met up with albida who was on his way to do a nearby cache to this one. He had already done this one put wanted to go back and see if there was any coins in there. I tagged along, tho did say to him "is it over there?" Yes it was! took one gc and one tb TFTC

Easy find with five year old even pointing to hiding location and suggesting we look there!

Great cache for travel bugs, hadn't seen one like this before

Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1520.Hoping to grab a couple of travellers to help on their way but alas no luck. But we did drop off 2 TB's we bought back from New Zealand with us.Tnx alpha993

As we are travelling to through 4 states in the next week or so, I took all the bugs (and all the admin that goes with them) to help them on thier way.

I visited today to checkout the contents as I am an avid coin person. I think there are some logs to come As I took the Symbology Coin and saw the cache movers coin, not other coins were there today. There are a few TBs in the cache. Albida.

We found this cache with the lid open and contents spilled on the ground next to it. As everything pretty well seemed to be there, it's likely that an animal had scratched at it rather than any muggles.

Tidied everything up and tried to put it back in a nice secure manner. Dropped off the Diabetes TB which wants to get to India. Maybe someone in ACT will be going there soon?

We made a point to note this location so we could use it for any TBs or coins that need to go to Canberra when we travel down the highway next.

1st found out of 3 attempts today. I think my GPS may have been out. Dropped off the Traveling Kombi TB. This little bloke needs to go to all the towns in the "I've been everywhere, man" song. I thought Tuggeranong was in the song, but it's Tuggerawong. D'oh!

Dropped off a GC that I've had for too long.

Took the two TB's in there (skateboarder and rubber duckie) and dropped off Mikes Sunflowers TB. This one needs to get to Tumbarumba (should have been there a year ago) so I figured if it headed south via Cooma it could eventually get to Tumut and from there to Tumba. Unless someone heads there often, not much there but a jail that I know of!

TFTC should be useful for future TB finds and is only ten minutes from home.

I dropped in two TB's that have been in my possession way too long. I had been hoping to further their aims but circumstances conspired against me!

My first cache. I found it using Google Earth on the third attempt (the co-ords were a little out compared to the actual position according to Google Earth). I must have walked by it a dozen times but did not know it. Must add a GPS to my letter to Santa. My son beat me to it by one day (actually his girlfriend found it so I don't feel too bad). Good fun all the same. TNLN

Went for a walk with TheMurrayPirates - got no help from them (they'd found it previously) but quickly located it.
Took a coin, left a coin.

This was our first find. We took some sort of geo race token and replaced it with one of my son's lego toys. Signed log. Will put the race token in another cache tomorrow to continue its run.

Droped of a few bugs/coin collected in Ireland to continue their journey....

Grabbed this cache on our way down the Monaro. Decided to grab TB's for Jindabyne, but Steeba beat us too them. Took GC, left TB, TFTC

After a bit of wandering managed to locate this one. Left a couple of TBs and grabbed a couple.

Popped back to drop off some trackables... Hopefully someone will take them down Jindabyne way...

Heading off to the farm on the coast thought I would check for any tb who would like a ride in that direction.

Found this today before the rain started... had to wait around once located due to some young muggles playing laser tag in the area. Took the Lets Cuddle TB will be in New Zealand soon so will drop it off some where there, also added a aussie tag to it.

#95. 2nd of 7 finds for the day. Had to be careful to watch my mirrors when i dived off for this one, to avoid any collisions at high speed. Parked on the wrong side of the paintball place, and so enjoyed a walk past it wondering if i was going to be hit by an errant ball of paint coming through the holes in the netting. GPS was a bit off, but easily found. No sign of the Diabetes TB or the The Gowenhouse fOtOmOm....?
