OzHockeyChick, Geoturtle37 and I stayed at Drysdale last night after spending most of the day chasing caches. Today we are hoping to find some more before heading home. Hoping that the weather is kind to us. We actually got to see an iron horse today. Thanks for placing the cache for us all to enjoy.
In town for a non-geocaching event, I took the opportunity to make a weekend of it, and find some caches in the area. Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 joined in with the fun. Despite the rather high winds, we got the e-scooters out to attempt a few caches along the rail trail. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Phetlern ~~
Great timing for this one.. the lunch time train went past and frightened the crap out of a camel who went running. Funny tftc
Final cache on my to do list with a desirable month hiddenThank you for this one
Didn't realise this one was so close to me. Thought I would pop along and pick it up. All good with the cache.
*Happy January Bike Date Day #1*Out with SueHut. She's got a few, I've got a few... we might actually find one neither of us have done. Thanks heaps for the cache!
15:00Checked as a result of log from '____bm-chapman 'Found empty cache lying at BOT out in open. Replaced log and returned to correct hiding spot.
Find #100 for Barwon Nature Adventures and it's participants. Thanks crew for all the hides along here and look forward to the next 100.
Out for a ride on our ebikes what a beautiful Spring day. We really enjoyed riding along the rail trail today we found a few caches and had some DNF's as well . I eventually ran out of battery on my phone so we will have to come for another ride and find the ones we missed TFTC
Working my way through many of the Drysdale and surrounding caches today. A quick patch and grab. Cache and log are both in good dry condition
Met some fellow cachers while finding this one.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Phetlern

This one took us at least 3 visits on different days to find!! Very fun and well hidden find
We found it!! Had a few things inside, we added three little things, won’t spoil them but you typically find them in little brown eggs. ??
Thank you for putting it here I used to build jumps here and never knew about geocaching until now, it is a very fun location
What a great rail trail this is, so many people cycling and walking, could imagine how busy it gets on a weekend!
Found on a Rail Trail return ride from Moolap to a cache 3.5km from Drysdale. This led to 38 caches over 36km or so, I’m very tired but it was well worth it. Had a DNF on this one years ago, I was glad to rectify that today. Quick find today, nicely sized cache. TNLNSL. TFTC!
A lovely quick and easy find, good parking with shade on a 33 degrees temperature predicted today!
Nice solid camo! We didn’t se an Iron Horse but we did spot a camel in the paddock instead!
Yes, we will miss the Original COs at the up and coming annual “Intervening days”event on 28/12, this year, which was their baby, originally.
Coincidentally this event is being hosted by the current owner of this cache.

Very clever hiding spot! Found it without prying Muggle eyes after much wandering.
I support a client who enjoys foraging and exploring and this was a nice easy find. Cache in good condition. Thank you, Tracey & Leo
Haven't been out for a cache in over 2 weeks so decided to to hit up Drysdale area to collect a few smiley faces. Half way through signing the log my pen started to fail on..
Thanks for the cache

Been down here in Geelong for almost a week now visiting my daughter for the Christmas/New Year break, so as I do, I get up well before everyone else to take yet another chunk out of the Bellarine Rail trail series. An early morning ride on my poor under-utilised mtb seemed just the ticket, whereas previous attacks have been undertaken on foot.
This one took me a little off the trail, a couple of circuits until I finally retrieved the hide.!

A few years ago we cycled the Geelong to Drysdale section of the Bellarine Rail trail, having now returned to the area it was time to give the next section a go.
Lot's of muggles using the trail on a pretty day to be outside but we were undisturbed in any of our searching.
