Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Unfortunately we have had to temporarily disable the final location of this multi cache due to road works in the vicinity. The works are very near the final location and the area is now prohibited. We will monitor the situation and re-enable the cache when the work is completed.
Was driving back to my southern suburbs residence so why not collect this on the way. Fell over at WP4. Pretty sure I was in the right spot but no joy today.
This Cache was Huge! It took us a while and patience was requiresd. Over a 40 Kilometre Waypoint drive, ending near the southern express freeway.
Final GZ has a lot of Earth Moving which puts the GZ in Hazardous times. Watch out for all the Earth Moving equipment because it is not looking very satisfying for the future.
yay another one to tick of started this one last year and just completed it today tftc
YAY!! We completed it It has taken us a while to get to this one again but success in the end Contents are a little wet and without looking at previous logs from bregor we didn't have any thing on us to replace, sorry TFTC klem's mob
Found after a stroll down the hill and small search. All WP's are safe and well except for WP5 which is a little damp but easily manageable. Now for the walk back up. Thank's to Klem's mob for an enjoyable Multi cache and the help in locating it.
Great hiding spots. Found all but waypoint 5 back in Dec just wondering if it is still there?
We checked on this one today and Waypoint 4 is definitely still there - it has created it's own camoflauge as it is covered in cobwebs. We have cleaned them off.
Both J's had a look for WP4 this morning, but apart from scaring a bunny back down his burrow, we couldn't find the next part of this multi.
After nearly 5 years, I was looking forward to finally visiting WP4 to grab the final coordinates for this epic cache. I spent a while looking in the spots that looked most obvious, but came up with nothing. There's a very good chance we'll be relocating to this side of town soon, so we'll be bound to have another look.
We have been on a 3 month holiday and have just returned home - it's COLD! Due to Waypoint 2 going missing just too often we have shifted it to hopefully a safer location and updated the information in Waypoint 1.
Got waypoint 1 and tried for #2 (aligns with clue) the lock was poor but we searched entire length both sides with no luck.
liked the concept.

Finally found it. You almost got me stumped but I did not realise it was the last waypoint.
Thanks Klems' Mob for the cache.

I could not beleive it that I failed to find the cache at Waypoint 4 after I found three waypoints with no problem. I seached and searched for over one hour but no luck. I only saw Choo Choo. Thanks for the hunt.
We checked on the cache today and found that a geocacher had found the original muggled waypoint 4 container and kindly rehidden it in the vacinity. Unfortunately this meant that there were 2 containers with different waypoints in them, due to the fact that we had quite some time ago changed the location at the final waypoint due to muggle activity there. Those people who were 10 metres out had found the original WP4 container, not the new one. We have removed the incorrect container so this should now be all in order. Sorry about the mess up and hearty congratulations to those who found the final cache even with the incorrect co-ords.
I like playing Bridge. The first 4 tricks were easily taken. This 5th and final location, well, I think it won all of the remaining tricks bar one. Coordinates were well over 10m out. Ants everywhere. GZ doesn't match hint. Plenty of better spots closer to the bridge. Sat loc temperamental. Rubbish everywhere. Eventually, after lots of frustration and a phone call, we got the thing. Thank goodness. Slightly sad end to nice multi.
With all except for the cache found last weekend, we needed closure on this one. Given that it was now showing up as my 2nd closest to home cache it was bugging me all week
A quick 5 minute walk to GZ, after dodging the trail bikers, and we had the place to ourselves. Read previous logs, moved around the area a bit, and still had nothing. After 15 mins of searching resorted to the phone a friend option, who had found it the day before.
5 minutes later, and 50 ants we had the cache. Tossing it backward and forward the log was signed, and the cache returned
Sometimes being a mountain goat get's you in tricky places
Another 5 minute walk back to the air con of the car, and all was good

Never set out this morning to find this cache. Geokid James and I went off for a coastal caching day. Found wp1 easy enough on our way south in the morning. Coming home we thought it worth checking out wp2. At that point it was do or die! Following the arrow on the etrexH we found the location of wp3 easy enough but the change in cache style threw us. Once heading north again it was an interesting exercise getting to wp4. Nearly gave up here but got the pda out to look at the last few logs. Martin had mentioned it was the other side after nearly giving up also. Bingo! So off for the final. We made sure we arrived at the right level. But which pile? Oh! The one hiding about 10m north of gz. A great tour of bridges! Thanks Klem's Mob.
Since we were in the area today, we collected WP1. A quick stop on our tour around
Since we were also in the area we collected WP2. A quick stop in the heat on our way to Baked Beans
We decided to alter our way home and collect WP3 along with a couple of other caches, so why not!
Given that WP4 was only 4km from home, and we were having a quiet evening after a nice big dinner, we decided to head out and see if it would be possible to finish the cache all in one day. After 15 minutes of searching we gave up, it just wasn't there. As we drove away A said "What if its around the other side?" Well we might as well have a look since we are here. Its dark now, but we should still be able to use the light of the GPS to see. Bingo!
Ahh the cache is only 3km from home. Lets see if we can finish it all tonight. We got to within 17m of GZ, before we realised that GZ was 17m that way, and 50m down that way...
Hopefully the council haven't cleaned up too much down there and the cache is still there. Will return soon, as we scoped out the path that we need to take, along with where to park. 10pm on a saturday night, wasn't the time to be going for this one.

A special detour on the way home from Goolwa for the weekend to get WP3! We were amazed at the opulence of the bitumenised bikeway and the shelter shed and tables and seats were if incredibly high and expensive standard. Who pays for all of this? We struggle in our small town to get grants to do town projects - seems like there is no lack here. Only 2 more WPs to get - maybe this won't take as long as we thought it would?!
All bar last location found on our way home from Rapid Bay. Garmin nuvi wanted me to stop ON the Expressway to find this one ... not bloody likely!
Arrived home with intention to log this and others from the weekend but some ******* had stolen all our laptops and big screen TV! Grrrrrr.

WP 1 done on the October long weekend, WP2 on our way to Kangaroo Island for Christmas. A chap from a nearby house came out to ask if we were broken down and said that a lot of people seemed to stop here! We said that we were playing a game, and asked him if he would like to know about it. He said no so that let us off the hook, he went back to his boozing and we quickly retrieved the info we needed! The container is a little rusty, and therefore a bit hard to open. Goodness knows how long it will take us to finish this one - years I reckon!
After finding WP4, that had been Muggled last time we looked, we made our way to the final bridge today.
It was an interesting experience, with the traffic roaring overhead and the trail bikes roaring around on the trails under the bridge!
We found two lawn bowls, a washing machine and other assorted freeway trash but, after a scramble among the rocks and long grass, alas no cache.
We hope to return another day to complete what has been an enjoyable series.
Thanks Klems’ Mob

Looks like the council has had a good clean up around here. It definitely needed it. Trouble was they found the waypoint info as well and disposed of it. Now has another one there so all up and running.
Spent a long time looking for WP4 in rainy and muddy conditions. With good satellite coverage I thought I looked in all the possible locations but without success. However will return!
We are enjoying the series.
Thanks Klems’ Mob

Can't believe I spent 30 minutes looking for the first WP on my last visit, to then find it in 10seconds this time.
Unfortunately we didn't travel near enough to the second WP on the way home. Will include it on our next trip South though, and look forward to continue playing bridge.
Cheers

Just posting a note to let you know we found stage one on our drive from Cape Jervis to Adelaide, but didn't have the chance to find the other stages. TFTC!
Visited WP3 today. Found it on the ground under the bridge with no lid. Couldn't work out where it was supposed to be, so hid it under some rocks nearest to our GPS' GZ. Might need a maintenance visit.
Finally.
I think I have been chipping away at this one for years but it has really only been a year as I started it in Jan 07.
I had to muse that it had been such a lovely start as I made my way thought the abandoned shopping trolleys.
It had caused me some grief along the way, where was that bridge I missed but found a clue at.
The biggest adventure was that late night search at the second to last waypoint. Police sirens started up in the night from about 3 different directions and the next thing I knew I was between the headlights of a police car. The officers looked at me as I poked my head out from under the bridge. I looked at him then suddenly the car backed away and in a squeal of tyres did a three point turn and was off into the night.
I continued searching and they came back after 10 minutes. Thinking I wasn't going to get away with this twice in a row I started walking over to the police car but once again they sped off into the night. I didn't try for third time lucky and disappeared into the night.
Finally to the strains of sexual healing blasting out from a nearby site the cache was found and this one can be put to bed.

Didn't realise this was a multi - had thought we'd have a quick stop on our way to KI. Never mind, maybe another day!
At a work conference nearby, and had some free time, so thought I might start this, and complete on the journey home the next day.
Spent a while looking around WP1. Even climbed down low, and around rails, taking care since I was alone, but found nothing.

Got the first yesterday and the rest today. Reasonably quick but appreciated the log entries when looking for the third. The new housing at the final cache site made searching a little obvious!!
TNLNSL Thanks
TNLNSL Thanks
Waypoint4 now has the correct coordinates to get you to the relocated waypoint 5. Thanks to TeamAstro and Freddo for your assistance.

Passed two diamonds easily enough, but needed some oil to finess three clubs. Four hearts was a clear round, and it was go for five spades. Muggled game in no trumps. Grand slam!!
I don’t know how to play bridge, but though I’d try this variety. I have played 2 up, snap, canasta and black bitch, but Kewangan and Youker are favorites – I love tricks! [^].
But there was a nasty trick at WP3. Freddo and I were dealt a nasty hand. We tried the usual Bridge tactics. Nope. A dud hand. We tried getting drunk – never a way to go. Forget the grapes and magnets. Think about virgins and Popeye’s girl friend. You may have better luck than we did, esp in the dark. Groping when you are drunk is a definite no-no.
We retired defeated and had a dim-sim.
A lucky break had us train spotting at 10pm at night. No trains, but 2 bridges. The old bridge dealt a cool hand.
Off we went, tails wagging. After all, we had had a winning hand, and were very cocky. We were up on the deal. Is that possible? Believe me, it is!
Euphoria was short lived. Our dealer had the one up on us, and had us sailing down the “Riverâ€. Yep, the 5th card River on the surface appeared to be a beauty.
Or so we thought. It was a sucker.
The card was about three spades too high, and we folded.
Both of us slept on the thought of being broke and losers. But not for long.
Port Power had won, and the Crows were also winning. So we had a shot.
Only to find we had again been cheated on. The cache was muggled, and the cards were scattered all over. Definitely snap playing kids.
We gathered them up, shuffled the pack and re dealt.
New comers, the final GZ is still there, but you will need to go 21m north to find the new deck.
Clear skies – from Freddo and TeamAstro. [^]
Over a few weeks, while staying weekdays in Second valley, I finally nabbed this one. Needed a hint for WP3, but the rest flowed nicely. Suprised at the proximity of GZ, but found good access by following the arrow. Some bridges I didn't know about. Left the thunderer tb to match the thundering traffic. Thanks for this epic. Seems like it should be worth more than one find!
Found one and two, three had me baffled. Nothing to stick to? I'm passing by again soon. The adventure continues...
I guess it's about time we gave a progress report. Found the first waypoint ages ago. At some other time we got WP2 after being questioned by the nearby resident. Found the third waypoint today, but WP4 was not on our scheduled route home to Oakbank. Will call in at some other date to grab the final coords and hopefully log a find on this long distance cache. Good one Klems' Mob.
Ditto comment below. Looks like someone had tyre trouble here last night.
clear skies, TeamAstro.
The last point was obvious but had trouble with waypoint 4, Klem assured me it was still there. I'm SURE I looked there before
No swaps today.
Thanks Klems Mob.
No swaps today.
Thanks Klems Mob.
Didn't think I would ever log this find. Began it in January with Team Ermalesh. WP3 required 3 visits and several emails from cache owner, I saw that spot several times, why didn't I look closer? Almost turned back from WP4 as it looked like someone was living under the bridge and there was alot of rubbish, probably one of the ugliest locations I've been to with caching. Finally used Google Earth to find the best track in to WP5. Thankyou Klems Mob. TNLNSL. Now about History Down South.....
Started this one yesterday, thought we'd finish it off today but came unstuck on waypoint 4. Found lots of empty spray cans and beer bottles but no cache - maybe it just wasn't our day today.
Cheers

We found clue #1 with Datto on a holiday celebrating her 30th birthday! The next day, on the way back into town, we tracked down the rest of the bridges without too many hiccups.
Left: 2 golf balls
Took: 'First the country, then the world' TB

In explanation of Waypoint 3 - We chose that spot because when the transport was running, it passed over a creek there. The small bridge is no longer there but another device for the creek is.
The 3rd waypoint had us frazzled for a while. With no discernible bridge to deal with I wasn’t really sure what I should be looking for? If you are going to play Bridge, don’t suddenly switch to Canasta! The rest of the cache trail worked well and was suitably impressed when I accidentally located a way to drive to GZ and be confronted with THAT bridge. What a spectacular aspect to view it from. I immediately hoped it wasn’t attached to the underside of it . Needn’t have worried though, as we spotted the hiding place while still 50m away. I even got cocky enough to leave the GPS in the car [^]. At the end of a caching weekend, I had run out of decent swaps, but I did grab the Turkey TB. Thanks Klem’s Mob.
had fun doing this one had a little trouble at choo choo but got over it took soap left tigger to give pooh some companycheers
Hahaha, had a new cache in hand on the 1st January 2006 and checked out this bridge which I'd had my eye on for about 18 months but decided not to in the end.
Good effort.
Good effort.
Bridesmaid again!
Congratulations on the FTF go to Team Hurtle.
Had a pleasant tour of the area. Fortunately I had to visit very near to most of the points for work at any rate so it made this an easy cache to complete.
- a Buddah, + step counter, 'Turkey Lurky' & 'First the country...' TB's.
Cheers Klem's Mob.

Found over period of 2 days, and still a virgin to boot!
Started this yesterday, and promptly ran out of time trying to do other cache along the way! Notably 'All Day Sucka' which we didn't get!
All wp's were spot on. Raced out 1st thing this morning after work to get wp 4 & gz which were both close to home.
Left a patch, took a carabiner.
Also moved Edgar Emu along for a ride to Mylor!
Thanks Klems Mob for an enjoyable jaunt with the geokid in tow...
