Yay! Found the last CCT, grabbed the code & just have to nab the series CCT-0 one. Had to rely on google earth being a bit behind time as the bowling alley that was is now a community garden…. & very impressive too!
Made the same ‘error’ as everyone else looked under the wrong bridge first - should have known Robmc’s coordinates are accurate & was in the wrong spot.
Returned under cover of Easter rainy weather & glad to spot the well trodden trail, no one appeared to be home & cache was dry & waiting. The lid is still broken, but held together by a well placed ‘bandage’ from a previous cacher.
Looking forward to the final cache….& will have to look for another challenge series that hopefully will come close to this one. TFTC.

Ignored the coordinates at first, so ended up under a wrong bridge. Got back to GZ after that and made a quick find. Had a pleasant walk along the trail today.
Another nice multi, thank you Robmc! Likely the last CCT I'll be able to do before I leave the country, but I appreciate you getting me out for a nice walk. Final is right where it should be, though it *was* the bridge I was expecting. TFTC from Tennessee, USA
Have ridden along this path a number of times but never stopped to gather the clues. About six months ago I took the time to find the answers but was then past gz and running late. Finally I made it back to look for the cache and after a quick search was adding my name to the log. Thanks for the cache Robmc.
I’ve been looking at the CCT series over lockdown and discovered although I have done some of them I don’t have the info that I am meant to get from each final GZ!! So with that in mind I’ll just start again and be more careful in keeping track of any acquired data
A warm day to be out and about on a trail that doesn’t have that much shade but that just made me walk faster to get to the next cool area All details gathered and duly noted and the cache was found in good condition. It’s wonderful to finally be out of my 5km, then 25km restriction zone TFTC /

Some recent comments have been msde that the Parkville caches will be archived soon. While I wong get chance to get them all, some challenges, solved puzzles and previous DNFs enticed me for a trip out today.
I took the pushbike again with new imnertubes amd rode til just after dusk finding what I could.
I went for a run some time back and collected clues over the 7km journey. Too buggered to find the cache that night. Tonight an observation of surroundings and I was right on it.
Thanks to Robmc for the placement and fun.

While seeking out the Parkville caches before they expire we might have got distracted with the odd trad and multi on our bike journey today. We all had a laugh at Pacman's first encounter with this multi as a newbie before getting to work and finding the real GZ.
Thanks Robmc for the Moonee multi.
Thanks Robmc for the Moonee multi.
A great area to explore on the bike. Think I'm inspired now to start riding to work. had forgotten how much i love it. TFTC
DNF'd this last time, Pacman came up with the win today.
A great experience would be to do this whole trail in a day, doing all this series.

While seeking to convert the rest of the Parkville series into smilies before their immiment archival we took the opportunity to find a few of these as-yet-unfound CCT multis as well while we were wandering around on the bikes.
A while back, in a rookie way, I had tried to find this cache by looking for the container at WP1. Unsurprisingly I found nothing. Today I was feeling a little smarter as it wasn't too difficult when doing it the intended way. After ruling out the hairier GZ options the cache was located in a much more sensible position.
(Note to self : a multi GZ is not necessarily found at the posted co-ords !)
Thanks for the multi, Robmc.

I took the 3 day's off over easter and anzac day and was keen for a bike ride after returning from the Mega in Canberra a couple of days ago. So since a lot of the Parkville puzzles had been sitting here waiting to be found. I had been down here and found a couple of random ones previously but ran out of time. Being a week day it was a bit quieter than normal on the weekend when I normally get to ride around so most of the searches were uninterrupted.
I have slowly been working on these multis over the last few years and this one I worked out GZ last year but was heading in the wrong direction. Today I was going right past and managed to gather the last 3 clues for the final cache (hopefully).
Thanks Robmc for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

The final day of the Melbourne Parkville Mega event with the Godfather Freddo and gridge98, and it was a day of high terrain adventure caches, driving around collecting the Handbag series, and then riding around some more of the various river and rail bike trails collecting the Parkville caches.
This cache and contents turned out to be all good. Thanks heaps for the work and preparation towards this cache! Cheers.

Apologies for the generic log below:
Away for the weekend with Freddo and Davidwazza to the Parkville Mega.
My first mega that I had attended and I had a really enjoyable time.
Some of the log books were signed with my name others were signed with just a G part of the group name, a combination of KBJGD.
We were happily joined by KB who was a machine finding a lot of the caches.
Thanks to the CO for all the placement of caches, the earyh caches answers will be sent in the coming days also.
We were very successful in finding majority of caches but some we DNF.

Accompanied with crank1, Pwala & Kangas11 during the Mega Weekend- 16 Nov to 18 Nov.
We enjoyed search, found and signed the log as "C.P.K.E" [^][^]
The weather just excellent during the mega...

The geowife and I were out on hired ebikes hoping to find a few solved puzzles, and maybe a few unsolved puzzles if we were lucky. This cache, I have to admit, wasn't even on our radar. But, we found ourselve in a spot where we their could be a cache and decided to try our luck getting one of the aforementioned unsolved puzzles.
While we were searching, a puzzled voice asked what we were doing. It turned out to be another caching couple and their confusion stemmed from the fact that they were looking for this cache over there. So there couldn't possibly be a puzzle here. Unable to argue with their logic, we threw our lot in with them and helped them search. After all four of us searching here and there for a good while, I eventually came up with the goods to my great relief.
Before parting ways, they very kindly gave us the coordinates for a couple of puzzles that they knew were ahead of us that we hadn't managed to solve. I didn't get their names but I am very grateful to them.
Thanks for the cache Robmc. This was find #3676. Please discover my trackable: MMGJ6B and mention where you saw it.

My first weekend of solid caching in forever!
Although attending all the Vic mega events over the past few years I have always been to busy to go out and find caches. This weekend is going to be different! I drove down from Wangaratta early to start cycling the creek trails. I was out with a few cachers today so the log books were signed DFGJK being our initials.
I apologize for the completely generic logs but I didn’t have enough battery charge or time to make any notes throughout the day. We had a lot of fun exploring a part of town I probably never would’ve seen otherwise, so TFTC’s

This was an epic trip, of 12 days and 10 nights.
Enjoyed the trail and many sights.

Day 4 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire once in Melbourne. So to save space in the logs we usually just wrote our initials BABS to save space.
Time to test out the bikes we brought with us and ride the Moonee Ponds creek trail.
The puzzles had all been solved in the months prior to coming but that still left some work to do along the trail. [^]
Well, this took us to a bridge, but as the clue suggested it was not going to be that bridge. So we expanded the search and found a cache. But it was not the cache we expected. It was not the replacement but the original cache that we found. So our names are in that one and we later advised the CO where it could be found. [8)]

The Melbourne Mega has been and gone so now the hardest part for me is to log all these great caches that we have found over the past six days. We have had six days of full on caching which started with a few high D/T caches in Ballarat using kayaks, ladders, etc the assault started last Wednesday 14th November 18 but not without a few mishaps that included a tree fall, a number of bike mishaps and numerous bloodletting. Some of us look like the walking wounded but you just have to keep soldering on as there is always another cache to be found. I also have to include the stiff legs from all the kilometres walked.
Most logs were signed BABS which stands for brisal5, AnyMules, Bushfire and S.A Sewer Rats to save space in all the log books. This will a generic log owing to the huge number of caches to be logged so I would like to thank all cache owners for the time and effort it takes to place these caches and also for the maintenance of the said caches.
Again thanks to all the cache owners that helped to make the 2018 Melbourne Mega the great success that it was, so now to look forward to St. Arnaud next year where you will be blown away with the quality of the hides.
Save up your favorite points as you will use heaps in this area.
Spent a long time here before brisal5 came up with the goods.

Out today (Day 1 - Friday) with Crank1, Everlasting and Kangas11 for the Mega event weekend at Parkville. Thanks for the cache.
Couldn’t find it at first. Wasn’t under the bridge we first searched. Looked a bit further afield under another one and found a cache after a longer search.
Looks like we found the original cache as it has the FTF in the log book. Last logged Dec 2017.
Thanks for the cache Robmc.

Parkville Mega
In Melbourne staying with family and making the most of the nice weather and my bike, by heading into the city and starting on some of the Parkville series. I know I won't have time for all of them, on the Mega weekend. I managed to grab some other hides, that I hadn't already found, as I meandered along some bike paths, that I hadn't travelled before. I made some great discoveries, clever hides and generally enjoyed the caches I found, and my time in the area.
This was a much more shelter trail than the one I did this morning. I enjoyed riding along, grabbing the needed info at each of the WP and eventually came up with some likely co-ords. Made my way back to GZ then spent far to much time looking in the wrong area. After rechecking my calculations and finding they were right, I expanded the search and came up with a smile.
Thanks Robmc for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

It was a beautiful morning to be out and about and today, for me, it was shank’s pony. One by one I grabbed the clues and quickly made the find at GZ. Thankfully there was a break in the muggles. Thanks Robmc.
We headed down to the big smoke to tackle some of the Parkville hides we had worked so hard to solve and help out with a maintenance run - not that many of them needed anything.
On Day 2 we parked near GZ and jumped on the bikes and headed off on the trail - they sure made it easy to get around.
We managed to calculate the final and collect it while we were travelling the area. Great to see all the works are now finished and we can get on with our business.
Thanks for a terrific weekend Robmc

Boy this took quite search even though I read your clue. Getting fit with all these searches. Finally found the cache and took a photo of the clues for the future.

It was such a lovely day and this one is close to home so I thought I needed a walk with a bonus cache at the end. I had to walk more of a distance than I thought.
When the cache is right where you totally already checked! I blame my short arms for not being long enough to feel it haha, was just about to give up too. TFTC
Got back on the "trail" so to speak of the CCT caches. I did a few last year, but still have some to go. These ones are definitely stretching the definition of "on the way home" for me now, but it such a good time of year to ride home the long way. Thanks for another CCT cache.
Replaced clues in the front of the logbook, that I forgot when I replaced the cache.

Out today on the bikes to embark on a few more of Robmc's CCT trail.
We parked at the state hockey and netball centre, as we planned to do the Moonee Ponds Trail and then head around to the Upfield trail too. We headed up the path and got all the clues, passing what seemed like millions of people and millions of O bikes. Funnily enough, we didn't see any people on obikes.
The newly replaced cache was found after a brief search at GZ, and so we had the pleasure of signing a blank logbook.
TFTC Robmc!

Got a call from chof-hoe and his side kick Morty asking if I'm intetested in doing a couple more of the CCT series today on our Geotreadlie's and I said you bet.
We parked at the state netball and hockey centre and made our way from there.
A nice ride along the trail collecting the info that was required and we laughed at all of the new artwork that is being spread around all over the place - Obikes.
We counted at least 20 -30 of them. some in the creek some just sitting out in the wild this is a real shame and does not give us a good look.
At the last set of coords we had a rest, did the maths (I know it is hard on a Sunday morning) and off we went to GZ
We had a look in a few spots and as I was looking elsewhere I heard a found it from Morty.
A new familiar looking cache was found that I got similar a little while ago.
Signed the log received the info that is required for the final and on to the next one.
Thanks Robmc TFTC

The track is all open again, and WP5 has some new numbers, due to some modification of the site. This means the calculation has been altered too.
The cache has been replaced, new container and logbook.

It was about November last year when we had worked out the final location for this cache but due to the Tulla widening some parts of the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail had been closed which hindered the ability to finish this cache. Most of the path is now opened (only one small bit still closed) and today we finally found the cache. Given all the works it was good to see it still in place and another step closer to completing this great series by Robmc.
Found by Team Justice #1814 CDWAF #318

As part of the widening of the Tulla Freeway all the advertising signage has also been removed from the ladies cricket ground. No more tomatoes are for sale.
Back again this time with information about where the cache was hidden from a previous finder. There is still signs of works going on but there was no-one around so I went around to Gz easily. After a short search I found the cache. It was about 15m from where I expected so I may have got one of the answers wrong. Thanks Robmc

I got a message from a cacher who, in the modern phraseology of the generation following mine is: "hella cool", suggesting that we do just swing by and pick this up - seeings we both know where it is... and the work that was supposed to finish months ago, is seemingly stalled.
Ok....
So I sat this morning looking at my phone and caught sight of a ute doing a security patrol, which drove along the creek, looked at me , did a U-turn, in the creek, and drove back along it in the other direction.
Ok.....
So when leafotwind arrived I said - "best get a wriggle on, lest they are on the cusp of their next patrol circuit" and we both agreed.
Taking a route where others had clearly paved the way, we made an educated guess to location and did a quick dash in, dnf'd and dashed out again. Hmm. I asked for a bit of help from a previous finder as I didn't want to loiter, to be quite frank, and that paid off as our second attempt was much more fruitful. My handy TOTT helped me spot it in one of the locations I had narrowed the search down to, with the hint. We signed and high-tailed it.
So .... it's still there and mostly intact as someone previously described... and I seemingly have a slightly shorter list of things I will not do for a smiley.

Messaging a cacher who is just as, if not more 'hella cool' caused a plan to be hatched. As each of us was working a different unlove unchallenge we agreed that vivid would take the unlove for the Spread the Love and I'd take it for the Spread the Mega Unlove.
After having read the rules for both I cannot see any conflict in this approach either technically or in spirit.
A quick dash over the bridge saw us initially DNF. After vividrodgers invoked a PAF we returned to GZ had a look in a different hidey hole and came up with the goods.
Great to cache in company and find the last.of the CCTs other than the final. Looking forward to being the 31st or 32nd finder of CCT0.

Just an update on the works. There are still some spots of the bike track closed that stop you from completing it. I ride it most days and when it is opened I'll post a note.
Visited the final clue today, and reworked the calculation.
I guess the problem with using a painting is some bugger can alway paint over the top of it!
The calculation has also been altered.
For those that got as far as the last clue, contact me and I will tell you the data.
Thanks for the heads up on that problem.

There is work being done on the freeway above the bike track, and the cranes, etc are planted on the track making it inaccessable atm.
According to the signs the work is supposed to be between March and May 2016. Watch this space.

I went for this despite the maintenance flag as I had a way round the issue at hand, and thought I could get it anyway. It's stinking hot tomorrow, but rather lovely today and I needed a walk, so why not, right? I approached from the middle of all the waypoints- give or take, and after a brief but heated argument with myself, about whether to start south and work north or start north and work south, I settled on the former, and gathered data. The route took me past a few caches I already had, but I knew that before I started and apart from a brief online check for TBs I left them alone. In hindsight I had travelled to all of the waypoints recently as a local, but I'd never actually examined this cache before today and had none of the data. Now I happen to know these are designed to be done by bike, but I'm a rebel of sorts and did it by shanks pony. Takes longer, but it's not unfeasible. There was a very daft mistake where I thought "I'm the wrong side of the water, I'll just hop across this bit which looks narrow enough... As it turns out my foot hit slippy pond weed and I didn't quite make it across, without landing on my bum in the water. That'll teach me I thought. Then I realised the path was fenced off, so I had to do it again to get back... this time I just opted for wet feet, a lady can only have so much pond weed on her backside before people start to talk.
When I got the final coordinates I realised that the GZ is actually completely inaccessible for the time being. I'm not going to say why as it might give the game away but just trust me- no-one is getting this at the moment, wait for the nod from CO - I will keep an eye on the situation too.
I'm off home to change my pants. The English sort AND the Australian sort.

It appears from several logs and our visit that one of the clues is no longer visible.
I've started to make my way through the Capital City Trail in an effort to get me out of the house and exercising. It's been working well so far, as I've really been enjoying this series! This was mostly a nice easy ride, with very few hills. I was doing really well with the waypoints until I reached the last one, someone has tagged over the required information! I turned to google for help, as I assumed such a beautiful piece of art had to have a couple of photos online! I searched "whale of a time Moonee Ponds Creek Trail" and voila, I had the info I needed. Made my way to GZ, stuck hands in some places and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the book, entered in the clue coordinates and then I ride home. Thanks RobMC for this great series, I look forward to completing it!
Find #1263
I rode the trail a few weeks ago but like the last visitor I found the information on the whale had been graffitied over. I compared notes with another cache who has recently been working through the series and he kindly provided we with the information that I was missing. On this day I was heading back form the north (not on my bike this time) and managed to stop near GZ and take a look. Tried a few spots before I went back to a spot where I had looked and the cache was in hand. The container clips are broken and there is a bit of tape not really holding it together very well but it's all there. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited a couple of trackables. Thanks for this multi cache Robmc. I'm closing on the end of the series.

Found all the answers except for the whales barcode digits, can see the top of the barcode in the whales mouth but the bottom appears to be spray painted over
Starting this morning from Moreland station I rode down the path I had done last week on the upfield line , but there were no waypoint gathering so it was a much quicker ride. I picked up some clues for CCT-0 , before starting this one. The wp info was gathered easily until reaching the whale, whereby I was stumped, so I read some previous logs which didn't help, only in that someone else had no clue either. After a 15 minute search for whale codes I guessed some numbers and had a viable Gz so I jumped back on the bike and reached GZ after doing a trad on the way. I crawled under the obvious place and then I widened my search and found the cache safely tucked away. Next Wps noted for CCT-0 , thanks for bringing me to this path, a favourite point
The last one before the final!
Weather was great, so we tried for the second time - we had troubles to find the numbers at the last spot. Is it us, did we misunderstand the meaning of what we should look for? Anyway, with some logic we had final coords which proved to be correct!
TFTC!
Will check out the hints we haven't collected yet from the other caches in this series tomorrow - to make a final approach on CCT0!

This multi has been a work in progress for a while. With the final stage sorted it was time to head off today and try my luck. Spotting the container I was very pleased, and with a little tugging it was soon pulled out from its hiding spot.
Thanks to Robmc for the cache.

I've been working on this series for a while now, completing the GZ for a few but needing to revisit a couple to finish them off. Today was bright and sun-shiny (and hot - I'm still in winter mode) so I opted for the lazier 4 wheel, two leg option today. Parking nearby, it was a short walk to GZ to begin my search and after eliminating some of the possible spots, I headed back to check the most likely remaining options and quickly spotted the cache. With a little stealth it was recovered and logged, being careful to record the clues for #0. Returning the cache took a little while as it's a fairly busy spot and thankfully the (seemingly) deafening clang of it's replacement went unnoticed by a couple of muggles up the path so I could continue of to grab the next CCT cache on today's to-do list TFTC
Found at 05:37
I'd collected all the clues on multiple trips along the path.
After an early airport drop off I thought this would be a good time to stop on the way home. No muggles around at this hour so was able to search in peace. I was searching the wrong place first but after checking the coords, moved across and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks Robmc for the cache and the series. Only the final left now.

Completed the final two legs today up Upfield and Mooney Ponds Creek. This leg was my favourite of all of them, not just because it is the final one for me in the series (I already have #8), but because it is smooth and fast on the bike. The coords were spot on for the find, and I had it all signed and this time remembered to record the clue coords before returning the box to its hiding spot. Took a pathtag. T4TC Robmc!
I actually figured out the final waypoiny for this multi a couple months back, but hadn't got around to actually locating the cache. Once at GZ, I was a little perplxed and found myself looking under the right bridge but in all the wrong places. I then tried a secondary bridge, thinking that perhaps my calculations were a little off. No luck there either.
Anyhow another look under the right bridge and just as I was about to give up, I stumbled accross it!!

I had started this multi together with PrincessDiala (on foot) a few months ago but it got too dark before we could complete it. Today this was much quicker on my new bike. What a strong magnet!!! TFTC, Robmc!
# 755. After riding along the Creek and collecting the answers along the way, it was time to sit under the Whales nose and work out some coordinates. It was a great afternoon for a ride and good to get back on the bikes after sooo long. Loved some of the places we stopped to answer the questions. This gets a favourite from me as it is great to see caches designed for the cyclists among us. Back along the trail to GZ and I definitely need to develop stronger arm muscles to fight with some of these computer magnets. Took: Crocodile, Left: A Pathtag. Thanks Robmc

With the morning free for a ride, I headed down the creek, picking up the clues for this one on the way. A bit of number crunching brought me to GZ for an easy find.
As I signed the log, the cyclist that had passed me a couple of times rode up and asked "Did you find it?" It's always nice to bump into another cacher.

After last nights success on CCT-4 I decided to pick this one up also for the recent Challenge cache. So calculating the co-ords as best I could I arrived at approximately GZ and started my search. I had the cache in hand in about five minutes. A nice fresh book for me to sign. Thanks Robmc.

Enjoyed gathering all the clues on foot on a mild Saturday night in the dark - like others just learning the ropes and intricachies of my first multi hunt.
On a late Sunday arvo walk with Mack the cache hound I was sure we would find it.
However, we ended up somewhere we were not supposed to be in the midst of Dynon railyards!!
Like others before me I struggle with the "interelated totem sites" WP clue to determine F.
Reckon now, through a process of elimination of where it isn't I will be able to find next time...

Was passing by so I looked at GZ just to check if the cache is there, it's been 10 months since I found it and it's not where I last found it. Double checked behind all the (can't think of the right word - girders?) but couldn't see the cache anywhere. There's a homeless person's sleeping bag just next to where the cache is supposed to be, so a hobo may have come across the cache.
Miscounted the first clue then had no idea on the second. All the poles are together, one is for drinking and one for venting (my interpretation). I swapped animals, rhino for horse. Thanks Robmc.
4.55pm. Out and about with 80degrees, rewarding ourselves after a boring day doing houshold chores. We started this one some time ago but ran out of time but vowed to returned. Mrs80d's, used her IT skills to work out the approx location to enble us a flying start for the afternoon. Signs of the local resident hogo were obvious but he was not home as yet.
Enjoyed the cache.

Found at 4.55pm. Was out for the afternoon with xambo4u. This was one we all started a while ago but ran out of time to finish so had gone off - checked our answers and was sure we were heading to the right spot. This made for a quick easy find although the lid of the container was broken so Mr taped it up to keep it all together. TFTC Robmc
At first was bit confused with Multi but glad we tried to work out finally Found it with Alchemy2.

Found on my second ride down this trail. I correctly solved the 4th clue at home, but the 2nd clue is very confusing when you get to the location. I got it wrong the first time and ended up going to the wrong spot, which happened to be 10m off a point on the Capital City Trail Fiddled with the numbers at home and figured out what all the other comments were about, got back on my bike today and had fun riding along the Moonee Ponds Creek/concrete creek bed. Found the cache after a few minutes of poking around, no homeless in sight so all good.
This one was somewhat of a saga. Found the WP's easily enough, but had to revert to Google to get the answer at WP2. Then I had some difficulty at GZ, until I read back over previous logs. The calculated GZ is at a very likely location, however that's not the correct GZ. SamCarter's formula proved to be much more accurate, and that's where I eventually found the well-hidden cache.
It's good to get this one off my list... it's been nagging me every time I look at the "closest-unfound-to-home" for many months now. TNLN. Thanks for the cache, Robmc!

An interesting trail, at least for the first half of it.
I didn't care too much for the last stretch, but it had a very post-apocalyptic feel to it!
I actually had to do this one in two stages as darkness hit me earlier than expected half-way through. But returned today to finish the trail, all on foot.
At the presumed GZ, had to wait out two teen muggles taking photos of each other. Definitely needed the hint for this one, as it took a bit of poking around to find the cache.
Thanks for another fun trail, I had a great time.
I dropped a geocoin, so hopefully, this cache will be visited more frequently in the near future.

No itinerants on a sunny afternoon, quickly found after a little think time....Thanks.
I took up this walk, since it was the nearest unfound cache to my lodge. Not the most pleasant surroundings, but quite what I had expected. The formulae suggested by SamCarter are indeed more accurate that those in description. I.e. by using 37 (G)(F+K).(K)(H)(F) and 144 (J)(A-B).(E)(J-E)(A) you don't get dirty in place where there's nothing to be found.
I set off nice and early this morning to make a start on this cache, hoping to complete it and a few others before heading back to Shepparton today. Slowly I collected the pieces and didn't make any mistakes with my waypoints like I have on previous CCT caches. Once at GZ I was confident where it would be, but afte 10 minutes read the hint - D'oh! 10 minutes more and I read some previous logs, aha!
I almost gave up on this one!
Thanks,

I was trying to work out why it has taken me so long to get around to doing this one, given that the Moonee Ponds Creek trail runs very close to my home coordinates ... and I couldn't come up with a reason or even an excuse. Anyway, today was too mild and glorious a day to stay indoors, so I set out for a little bike ride. All went well for a while (and I even found an amusing sign that I could log for a GCA locationless cache), and then I got to GZ. Like others before me I was a bit flummoxed for a while, since the coordinates seem to be a little bit out. I'd suggest 37 (G)(F+K).(K)(H)(F) and 144 (J)(A-B).(E)(J-E)(A). Thanks for the cache, robmc, and the chance to reward myself with a smiley for doing some cycling exercise on a nice day (and let me know if you'd rather I didn't suggest the revised coordinates and I'll delete them asap).
I found this one today, so I found 2 of the series. 7 to go...
Luckily I had some logs on my PDA, so I could find out, that the coordinates are quite misleading. After I learned, that green bridges may make your hands all green, I extended my search radius and found the cache.

We made our way around the waypoints without any problems but at gz we must of disturbed some sqatters because the bong was still going the food was still on the plates and the sleeping bags were ready, we did not hang around.

With a couple of hours to kill before picking Cracker Girl up in Melbourne I decided it was time to attempt a couple in this series. Tom Tom decided not to play the game and with not even a street directory in the car this was made a little more difficult than it should have been. I did walk a lot further than I had intended when I left home this morning but it wasn't too bad a day for it.
The cache was found not were my GPSr was pointing but in a logical spot for a geocacher.

Doing these trails is much easier on a bike. Found all the clues and the final waypoint easily enough but the himt was essential, although it did take me some time to workout why the GZ was off set by so much. Thanks for taking me along this trail.
Like others I had GZ at the end of the small bridge, I looked and then expanded my search but came up empty handed, I rand Dak for a hint and still came up with nothing another call to chewin and the cache was in hand, I also came across a syringe while searching for the cache. Thanks Robmc for the cache.

Finally finished all the prelims - and I've even done all the wps for the final . This was probably my least favourite of the series and the area it covers contrasts greatly with, say, the Main Yarra Trail. I had a bit of trouble at GZ but the logs lead me in the right direction and it only took me 10-15 mins all up. I found the cache around 20m SW of where I thought GZ was - it wouldn't have mattered so much except that my GZ was such a likely spot - although I can see why you wouldn't put a cache there from the high debris level. I wouldn't advise doing this one at night .

Having just bought a mountain bike last week, it was time to give it a try out on the nearest bike trail cache to home. It was still about a 10km ride to get to the first waypoint! Collected the info along the trail and searched around GZ for a while before a clue from the Eudes helpline put the cache in hand.

Another interesting ride on a lovely afternoon. This trail is not one of the nicest and it shows what a mess we can make of a city, but that makes some of the others that much better. T Pinapple L Horse. And I've still got one more to do! Great! Thanks Rob.
Finally finished this one off at 14:15 on the way to the zoo as the dotted i and crossed t for the sensational CCT series. Not my favourite MO and the discarded syringe [:(!] adjacent to the cache location (as opposed to GZ) didn't make me feel any better.

Was having a few withdrawal symptoms not having done a cache for a few days so I put aside the cars I had to fix, untill later, and went off to knock over another of this series. Two to go after this one then the final which I expect to be able to do on a new bike which I'm going to get for my birthday,(I hope) Like some others, had a bit of trouble with GZ, my GPS showing zero at a very likely spot but not the true spot (and I gave it plenty of time to settle). Anyway eventually found the said cache, no swaps recorded the clues and home to do the work I should be doing.
Thanks Rob for a great series.

@16.40 This was my first in the CCT-series, so I thought you were supposed to find the hints for the CCT-0 on various places along the track on the separate ones. I was also a bit led to believe this, because there were some pipes going under the road (not under the path, though) just when CCT-7 begins. However, the pipes didn't really fit the description of the clue in the CCT-0. Also surprised not to find the rest of the clues along CCT-7... but now I know why
I was getting rather dirty, searching for the cache where the GPS first told us to go. But after finding nothing, the GPS had also changed its mind, and an earlier log was a good hint.
Peter signed the log book, but before we put back the cache, I had a "feeling" that I'd better check the book for some clues... glad I did Looking forward to find the rest of the series!

Today I said to myself that I would walk right up to it and I did. Now why did I not do that last week on my first trip? That's what hints are for. Even using the hint I still did not set eyes upon it. In the only place I forgot to look ? But now it is in hand, 5 out of 8 and looking forward to the next three.Thanks.
Dear Robmc,
I logged this cache today at 12:15pm as 4 from 4 on my attempt to complete the entire CCT series by bike in a single day. Now this is one trail I've seen from the freeway many times and always wanted to ride. Now I have. I'm having a ball and yet another easy find was made. Thanks for the cache.

Attempted this one by bike after finding the Maribyrnong CCT. This waterway was not quite as scenic but it was still an interesting ride. The waypoints readily revealed their clues but once I got to the GZ I was scrathing my head for a while until a previous log gave me a hint. Sure enough, there was the cache in its sneaky hide.
