Lady Morris, you wanted a story, so here it is....
CCno.2 took off through the bush with the GPS while the rest of us and toyahmary drove. We lost sight of her at one point and the next we saw her she was talking to an older man beside a ute. Nearly having a heart attack because who was this stranger talking to my 'little' girl?? I sped up to them and wound down my window. He said hello and told me he was just asking this girl why she was tresspassing on his property. I said I didn't realise it was private land and didn't see any signs indicating it and he pointed out that the 40 acres behind us was his but that it was ok, he wouldn't prosecute this time!! He explained about vandals and wood thieves and asked me what we were doing because all he got out of Maddie was that she was going for a walk (her GPS was behind her back). I told him we were orienteering with GPS receivers and we were looking for a something that had been hidden and we would find it by following the arrow on the GPSr. His eyes lit up then and he wanted to know if he put coords in where a particular tree was, would he be able to come back in 12 mths time and find it again?? And what sort is yours, I think I need one of those...Oh and he said if we need help to find what we were searching for, give him a yell cos he's seen a white 4x4 with a lady and man in it looking like they might be doing what we were doing. After all of that, I made the find, signed the log and we were on our way again.

P.S. All that for a bloody micro in the bush!!

A clever hide - we found the first part quickly and signed the log, but we were unable to find the second part. Not sure if it has been muggled or if we needed to have a better look.
thanks
thanks
Another quick find whilst out doing cross country with the eaglehawk ymca who conveniently do a lot of runs right at cahe sights.
Found the first stage of this cache but gave up on the second due to heavy rain.
will attempt this one again in the next few days.

4stubbies and Kingpin off for a lovely sunny day cache hunting. Once we got the guys to stop talking and concentrate we had this in hand.
Another trip to Bendigo area today and a side trip to find this after running out of time a few days ago.
After a short drive along the most direct (roughest) track we arrived at GZ early enough to avoid the extreme heat. Being in sandals, a lot of noise was made to (hopefully) encourage any snakes to slither away and leave me to search without fear.
Luckily enough the birds were kind and gave me a very close reading on the GPSr. Cache was soon found and the log signed.
Thanks The Morris for another cache in a (semi)remote area.

Found at 1740. Arrived to GZ to find two trailbikers nearby. Thinking that I would have to leave it for another time, the two bikers were too busy trying to kick start one of the bikes to be worried about what I was doing. A short search and the cache was found.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We found our 22nd Morris cache at 6:25pm as the 22nd of 26 on Day 2 of our "Where'd Bendy Go?" long weekend. Woo hoo. A real life Bendigo Drive by. Thanks for the cache from D, H & A B-A.
After a drive along some lovely unformed tracks, I emerged out of the forest to find a place that I have fond memories of, having spent some time here in my youth. Old Yella, my not-so-trusty eTrex, had some varied opinions on where GZ was, however it wasn't long before the cache was unearthed at 8:35am. I particularly enjoyed the second location, not sure that the occupants have the same opinion of the place though!
Thanks for bringing me back here!

Found this one fairly quickly, coords were very good.
Additional coords had us take the camera out. We have never seen anything like that before! Very weird. Left everything as we found it.

Finding the log was no problem with the new coords and a neat hide it was too. The curious crypt was a bit weird, and now I am very worried about the Morris clan! Thanks for the cache and the ...hmmmm!

An interesting location. Thanks for the snippet of local history. Are we the Loosers... having read the other logs have we missed something here?

While on our Tardis seeking expedition we decided to “go the extra mile†and see what changes Robyn had made to this GZ.
We were not disappointed, a visit to a Morris hide is rarely mundane, and this was no exception. We refilled the empties, but opted not to use up space in the log!
Cheers from,
Roma & Max.

Hey, how good is this cache! Our 1st for the day with GeoJnr and Swans (Jo) in tow! This was one that Mon (Team GraMon) and I missed last weekend so we had a pleasant drive through the Whipstick again. A clever hiding spot at WP1 and the final spot was sensational, GeoJnr was like a dog with 2 tails and he wanted to clean the whole area out. There were tears aplenty leaving this one from GeoJnr and Jo! Well done The Morris, thanks for this one! Cheers.

Didn't take the easiest road into this area (but was great fun). Cache is away from GZ by a little bit, but a great hide. TFTC.
Well after wondering around GZ for a while thinking my coords were incorrect I stumbble across this hide. I'm new to the caching business but starting to learn how clever the local clan is and how they think. Love the effort again by the Morris.
Sad to see all these mondos stuck out here guarding who knows what. Cache soon in hand though. thanks the morris
Found at 5.40pm GAFF1. We came across a regiment of little entombed soldiers and thought we had discovered Mondo Rock - we were wrong. Further examination uncovered the real cache. Nice little hide. Thanks The Morris.
Cache was found at 1355 in the company of the clan.
Thanks for the cache my 14th of 27 for the day.

The Alliance was out in force today with four members present. So this is another find for The Rebel Alliance. L.L.T.R.A
This turned out to be a very quick find, found by Acts2YouthGroup. Also along on the trip were The Rebel Alliance, DAK's Emu Mob, Kiwideb, and myself. Thanks for the cache, and for showing us this part of the world.
Ninth of seventeen finds on a rainy, cold day's caching in and around Bendigo with acts2youthgroup, Kiwideb, and Muzza. Despite the rain, we enjoyed a pleasant drive to this one. We found the cache at 1355. I was going to leave a Mondo figure, but the cache was too small, so I made no exchange. In any case, we found that the cache didn't need my Mondo figures, because there was a surfeit of them nearby. Thanks to The Morris for the cache.
Ninth of Twenty finds on a wet, windy, cold and can someone tell us why we do this day's caching day with Dak’s Emu Mob, Kiwideb, and Muzza. This was a nice quick find, but I could not help but wonder about the mondo’s? Thanks to the Morris for the cache.
We camped not very far from here last night so it was a quick pick up this morning before heading back to Bendigo. The sneakily concealed cache was found very quickly, we are becoming familiar with the hiding methods now
Thanks Morris, now off to Gary for a good laugh

Found at 11:00am. Found accompanied by the GeoMrs as navigator and scribe. 2nd find of 11 for the last day on our Ballarat/Bendigo & beyond expedition. After we exchanged our stock, we were in the mood for some mondo rock (well it was next alondg the road anyway). After a bit of a look around the GZ and some head scratching, I decided to investigate something which appeared unusual and struck gold. With the cache located, took a mondo, left nothing as per instructions. Clever hide.
Signed log. Thanx The Morris....

Found 2.50pm 26/3/06 by hondo & team. Very tricky!!! this cache had it all - a good search and the added danger of 60 or so very active bee hives very close by. Every time we would get to GZ we were chased away by angry bees. But we were successful in the end, thanks The Morris

Found by Mary & David at 0920. Loved the drive out here, with lovely bush and gold mining history everywhere. We didn't strike gold, but we did find the cache. TNLN. Our thanks to The Morris for the guided tour.
Had it on good advice from Romax that this was one I had to see before I went home. Found after about 5 minutes, thanks to the many lessons learnt over the last couple of days. Another great hide.

What can we say? We are lost for words, except to say it is like a breath of fresh air having The Morris placing caches within our area. Novel could be another word that springs to mind!
We took something and left nothing, as instructed!
Thank you once again The Morris, this site is going straight onto our watch list.
