Today we were traveling from Inverell to Narrabri while on holidays.I noticed this cache was a small detour but seeing it was an older one we decided it was worth it.Arrived at GZ and easily found the hide. The container is broken and busted and most of the contents are sopping wet including the log.I dried out the plastic bag the log was in and replaced it with a little piece I had.I put it back with what is left of the container covering it.If any future finders have a spare container it would be good to replace it to keep this old cache in play.TFTC
Couldnt sign log, bag filled with water. Maintenance is definitely recommended here. Attached is a pic of our goldadore Logo. TFTC
We first started caching 3 dogs ago when we only had Caesar, hence our caching name. Today we are travelling with Duke, having had Asha in between to connect themEasy find but the container is completely broken and needs replacing
After an overnight in Moree, we moved onto Warialda where we took off the van to do the caching. This has always been a wonderful town to cache in & the ones we did today were no exception. We continued caching with the caravan on & have now pulled into Inverell for the night. Thanks to all the CO for placing this cache.
Find number 9823
A nice easy find on a cache that need some owner intervention. The container has become brittle and is no long weatherproof.
Thanks president & 1st lady for place the cache.

My old dog Duke is 13 years old and sadly I think he will be crossing the rainbow bridge soon , he is a great dog and we have had many adventures.
I walked to far In looking for the cache at first but soon back tracked for a quick find. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl

That was tricky find. Our old dog was 16 when she passed. She enjoyed Farm life with chickens after he adopted her when previous owners moved to smaller place
A quick find for my last caches for the day. The most recent pet I had was a female kelpi cross and the thing I like about her was she appeared to talk to me. I always smile when I think of that. TFTC.
A trip to check out some of the awesome places in NSW and grab some old caches. TFTC.
Nice quick find. A few spider webs on the way.

Easy little park and grab which brought to mind our beloved golden retriever which we lost 22 years ago now, but still remember fondly from time to time. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. Thanks president & first lady for placing the cache.
Found easily and logged my name then placed the log into a ziplock bag as the cache container has a small crack in it.
Tftc president and 1st lady,
Made a quick find here today, my drawing skills are not the best so here is a pic

Great to get out and stretch the legs. Nicely mown section helped avoid snakes. Tftc
100th cache for us! Didn’t have a photo, so draw a quick little drawing of our little Maltese Munchkin! TFTC!
Found it with my little geoboy. He misses his mate Max dearly. Thanks for the memories. TFTC
An easy find but am not a fan of the disturbingly long grass and spider webs.
Relatively easy find, and as stated by someone else , watch out for spider's.... There everywhere :0
Thanks to the president &the first lady.
I do have a special person that always makes me smile and warms my heart. She is in Japan and we Skype every Saturday night. Very special lady.

I have to admit that I have never had that sort of a friend to chat about but I think that my daughter made it all the way over the bridge. There was a great cache guardian nearby . TFTC president & 1st lady SL
Quick find. Watch for spiders though. There were a few webs needing a fix much to the spiders disgust by the time he got back to the car. TFTC
To many cobweb inhabitants here for GT37 to help with the find. Luckily for me, it was a relatively quick find. Thanks for the cache.
I have to admit that I didn’t participate in finding this cache. Waaaay to many cobwebs for me to even consider getting close. Thanks to Papi4506 as this is an older cache which are amongst my favourites. Thanks for the cache.
With all the recent rain the ground is a little soggy and access off the road was difficult to locate due to a lot of standing water.
But once inside it was an easy find.
But once inside it was an easy find.
Got it thanks. In memory of our Jack Russels Tracker and Trompie, taken too soon when they met their match against a big Spitting Cobra in South Africa...
Thanks for the Cache and the memories of our beloved Tracker and Trompie that we lost to snakes. Xx
Love a rainbow bridge.... saw a doggy keyring on the ground so put it back in the cache

Oh what a trip! We finally bit off more than we could chew but it still somehow managed to end well!
Aquilus1 and myself have been striving on a mission for some time now... to get ALL the counties in NSW. We did the hard ones early actually, via two trips flying to Adelaide and driving to Sydney/Melbourne respectively. The previous trip was a simple Newcastle loop, so....finally the time had come....six months overdue because of Covid lockdowns to complete the last loop: Armidale/Ballina.
Of course, its not just about the counties, we crammed in a bunch of larges, DT, virtuals and even a Wherigo.
Day -30: Qantas screw us over and cancel our Armidale flight.... so a frenzied replan and Qantas agree to fly us to Ballina instead....bonus is that the car hire from Ballina comes with UNLIMITED km's.... this is great as we knew we would exceed the max by about 1200km...not cheap!
Day 1: We fly into Ballina, marvel at the super crap roads and all the people not working, but exercising, without shirts, in and around Byron. So glad my tax dollars support these people! After driving north to scary cow country we went west and made it as far as Tenterfield, but not before we got an amazing surprise FTF on a challenge cache in Casino....happy days! Yet another crazy late night pizza guy, and a lovely motel manager who had the BEST beds in NSW greeted us.
Day 2: Tenterfield to Tamworth, the long way, via Moree. Long drive through windmill country with some amazing walks for oldies and great views of cool mountains.....we said to ourselves "wow, look at that, there should be an Earthcache here that we could log fro the road".... and there WAS!!! We repeated this trick on day 3 as well. Got to love that. Outside Moree we found piles of various grains at the rest stop.... I wonder what that was about.
Day 3: Tamworth to Kempsey, we saw Armidale on Sunday... so quiet, but a great Virtual and a ridiculous journey through head high grass....for someone with allergies this was nuts! We managed a tricky challenge cache series and a multi that required Aquilus1 to go crazy high on a tree.... that ladder was well worth it yet again!
Day 4: More larges and then a great paddle for some great DT. The water at Stuarts Point was so nice, we kept going and going.....which in hindsight maybe wasnt the best idea, but we knew how far we had to get, and how much time we had.... the windy roads then roadworks however messed those plans up. 15 minutes late, watching them start to load the plane we werent on just sucked.... but, the HJ's (and our desperation) fueled the many new plans until Plan 'F', for fabulous, came to fruition.
We made it home, a little later than expected with slightly grumpier partners than ideal.... but we made it! Planes, trains & automobiles in the end..... so glad we didnt have to walk from Goulburn!

GreyHams and myself have been targeting counties for some time now and this trip was to be the last of the NSW counties... It would see ALL NSW counties complete!
It sure has taken us through some amazing places in the state as we journeyed through all of the counties, this trip would see the last 23 counties needed of the 129. One again we saw a lot of variety over the four days from the scenic coast, lush green country side, rainforest, mountains and out west to a much drier and flatter landscape.
Counties were our priority for this trip, and an abundance of larges also made the select list, Virtuals, types, old ones, interesting ones and of course DT, if your cache made this list it had a quality that was needed... we also managed a surprise FTF along the way as well!
It wouldn't be a trip without the ladder, or the esky... and good old Qantas happily checked them in with our bags!
Day 1 saw us flying into Ballina, driving North up through Byron, a beautiful part of the coastline where shirts and shoes are optional! After a dash up a hill, it was along the beach to the most easterly cache of Australia, a clamber up the side of the headland for an earthcache and time for a virtual. Driving north to Mooball for our most northerly county and then back down and across to Tenterfield, arriving after a surprise FTF and a long winding drive through the hills where we stopped for the night. Chose our hotel for the man sleeping on the sign, and as advertised, the best beds, and indeed I did sleep as well... the quietest hotel in town where everyone was sleeping and the lady working there the loveliest... and the best Pizza we will ever taste in town!
Day 2 we left Tenterfield with a wave of a local horseman and made our way west to Moree before dropping down and driving to Tamworth for the night. Some unexpected locations along the way had us saying 'there has to be an earth cache on that!' and indeed dropping out of our lists there was and a few extra locations stopped at and enjoyed.
Day 3 was the trip from Tamworth, up to Armidale and back down again to drive across to Port Macquarie before starting our way north to stop in Kempsey. Some interesting caches and tracks, and the good little SUV was the toughest and most reliable of them all for some of the tracks that were lost in the highest of grass and the pollen of the grass seeds that left clouds in the sky as we passed. A trail of challenge caches tested the little car some more and GreyHams navigated us through with ease. The ladder had a work out and some great caches collected for the day with it.
Day 4 we left Kempsey with the plan of driving back to Ballina for our planes back home. Some newer larges had us down some more bumpy wet tracks, some a little more than we could navigate so a short walk to finish. Very tropical with the mountains, even banana trees and so much sugar cane too. A kayak for great DT was indeed a great addition. Also our down fall as the drive was long, the roadworks a plenty and our plane due, it was a rush and many cache changes to ones along the hwy as we raced north for our plane. Just 15 minutes late and watched as everyone else boarded but us. Getting home wasn't so simple, we got to plan 'F' and a journey of planes, trains and automobiles to get us home, but what a great trip!!!!
GreyHams was as always a great companion, driver, navigator, cache finder, planner, ladder carrier, disaster management solver on another very enjoyable trip, NSW counties complete... go team!!! Looking forward to the next adventure!
CACHE DETAILS: An older cache so worth stopping, After the cars aircon it was feeling pretty hot and lots of flies had appeared from nowhere! Had expected a bridge but when there was none it was quickly realised, sadly plenty of my favourite companions have passed that bridge...

A quick find in the expected area, although I had been expecting a bridge because I hadn't read the description before arriving at GZ.

My home town. Found for my Birdypants - the bestest doggo on the world. Mumma misses you Birdy.
Stopped here today on our way to Warialda. We were expecting a bridge even though we understand the story. We walked to where the GPS led us and made a quick find. We gladly signed the log. Thanks president and 1st lady for this cache opportunity. We shall post a photo of Echo in the foreground, owned by our eldest son, and Dr Pepper in the background, who belongs to our youngest son. Other dogs who have been part of our lives are: Peaches, a Golden Lab; Ben, a Collie; Joe, a Cocker Spaniel (Joe Cocker - get it, lol); and Purdie, a Dalmatian. Cats have been just one, Ginger Megs who had a bit of a redheads fiery nature.
Cheers and happy caching!

Found with Flick and Flim while on our way to Moree. Thank you for this cache in memory of my cat Max, who was affectionately known as the sump oil cat, as he fell into sump oil as a kitten. He has now crossed the rainbow bridge.
Staying overnight in the showgrounds in our motorhome, so we decided to do the longish walk to find this cache. Having read the previous logs about the damaged container we took along the only item we had which was suitable to hold the log- a Jalna yoghurt container!
We put the log and small swaps in the new container but had to leave all the other stuff in the damaged old container. Some of it is very wet.

As others have said ... needs fixing. Can someone bring a large systema lunch box next visit please! TFTC
The travels continued and this was one of the caches we found for the day, along with ilook4geo. Each of the caches found had two more names added to its log and each was put back as it had been found before we moved on. Many thanks go to president & 1st lady for placing this cache and adding to the fun of the caching game. The container is badly damaged and really needs to be replaced.
Travelling through country NSW with goingplaces2, we have seen some green areas and some still very dry. The caches found have been of a good variety and most have been in good condition. All logs were signed. TFTC.
Found tyftc. In memory of our bear and taesja. Our beautiful geo dogs we lost after 13yrs together. And our maestro cat.
Woo Hoo, did not realise who owned this one. Easy find, sadly, the sun has destroyed this one, I picked up the container and the lid just started to crumble, so, big hole in lid. I added a cover over the hiding spot, but it is going to need a replacement container.
A detour to Inverell and Warialda as part of my big adventure. I had spent the night in Inverell and was on my way again. After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. It was quickly located at GZ. With my name added to the logbook and the cache returned to its hiding spot, I continued on my way. TFTC
Called by today and would have loved to spend time reading the beautiful stories of other peoples pets. We love our dog and she travels everywhere with us. tftc.
When I was young, I had a cat
His name was Tiger, that's a fact.
With orange fur, so soft to pat
A stumpy tail, I smile at that.

I am on my way home from the OZ Geomuster in Morisset.
Today's geocaching adventure has taken me from Bingara to Emmaville.
This was my another stop along the way for the day.
And I continue to make my way north back to Toowoomba.
A short search before spotting this one tucked away.
Thanks for the cache.

Did not come prepared with a story. But I had two loyal dogs Molly for 11 1/2 years and Jessie for 10 years. Miss them both, Molly crossed the bridge in Oct last year, miss that little white fur ball

I was in the Warialda and Glen Innes area today and decided to grab a few caches in the area. This cache was the first cache on my list.
I parked the vehicle nearby and headed to GZ and shortly had the container. The container was very brittle and part of the side had broken out. I was heading to Glen Innes and returning in the evening so I decided to by the same container in Glen Innes and replace it when I returned.
It is good that some of these older caches are still active.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and after the container was replaced it was rehidden exactly as found.
The cache is now good.
Find #490.

Here is my story:
Brodie, a black and white border collie was born on the Gold Coast on 8th May, 2000, while we were visiting Brodie Castle in Scotland. He had one brown eye and one blue eye.
He moved in with us at Victoria Point on a suburban block, but we bought acreage for him at Jimboomba not long after – we called the property “Brodies Run”.
In 2011, we hit the road, and Brodie became Brodie the Roadie, travelling with us until November 2012, when he passed away in the Clare Valley, SA. He is still sadly missed, but will never be replaced.
Thank you for this beautiful location for us to remember him.
Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runciple's Grasshopper, a tassie trekkers pathtag, a sweet - sour pathtag, a grannysmith path tag, a broken heart, geo achievement 500 caches award, and an f14 Tomcat oh, and a bundle of keyrings that I have collected since caching in WA in August 2013 (current count is 23)

Found on journey away from the Mega. Today we are travelling from Glen Innes to Warialda for a couple of days. Just as we got back in the car after finding the cache I realised I didn't have the GPSr. How hard can it be to find the right stumper? Very hard! And I had actually put it in the container as well.
Anyway our caching name is from a very special rough collie or Lassie dog. We have had lots of dogs but none as special as her. She would have loved caching. For a little while. And then wouldn't have gotten out of the car.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day thirteen and it was time to head home. We drove from Stanthorpe to Moree via Warialda. Most of the caching was at Warialda, including the highlight, the walk around the reserve. There were a few other fun ones during the day as well. Thanks.
