Bruce's backyard? Who was Bruce and how was this his backyard? Why is it True Blue? And other than actually being in Australia, what makes this cache particularly Aussie? These and other imponderables ran through our minds as we ventured intrepidly towards this presumptuous prize. A quick find awaited us but enlightenment was elusive so we wandered back none the wiser.

Thanks for the hide

Had a pleasant walk into this one, passed a few older muggles climbing trees on the way and had fun following the small track through to GZ.

Once we arrived the cache was located quickly and we added our names to the log.

Thanks aussie-O's for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 2159 for me.

29-Feb-20
Way smaller than I was expecting. It’s now a micro. All was in good shape here. Thanks.

Cheers aussie-O's! I found your cache today (Saturday 29/2/20 at 10:07). Big Grin

See you at WAGB 2020 in Albany & Denmark (May 29-31)!

After an early start to the morning we eventually found ourselves a cafe in a side street and our coffee streak was on the board. On a freezing cold day, the cup was burning our hands so we put it down on the ground and stood around it to warm ourselves up.

Mrs Woodyrothwell and I never realised just how much sand we would be walking on finding caches. I can’t wait to see the look on the persons face when we return the rental car.

We found the trail down to GZ and I took the coffee for the ride before returning to admire the view in between spells of rain. tftc

Found it! Very hot day.

So glad to have the access coordinates. It would have been tricky without them to find the way on.
Another beautiful place to find while geocaching.

15-Jun-18
Can't understand why we hadn't picked this one up last time over here but this afternoon we made amends and grabbed the smiley. Hope CO doesn't mind but we placed it into a 35 mm film canister. Thanks for bringing us back to my old home suburb. Log's got plenty of room and is in good nick.

12-Jun-18
Well got the heart pumping. Only the (dry) log and pen remain.

06-May-18
The box is gone but pen (not working) and log still hidden

16-Apr-18
After our Parisian trip in the first week of the Easter holidays, we (i and my husband Voske1967) went for 3 weeks to the other side of the world to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, food, landscapes and culture of Australia. Of course, geocaches were also searched for and found in Perth. This trip downunder will stay with us for a long time! It was pretty hot in Australia for the autumn season
This cache needs a new box!

Had been down to a furniture store in Freo so plotted in a few caches for the drive back home to break up the journey. Came here after some muggle challenges at the nearby multi which meant I needed to buy some time. Found the required path and headed down - for once I had reasonable footwear on as otherwise this could have been much trickier! I did see bicycle tracks too, however not sure folk actually ride down here!? Anyhow, after a careful descent I spied a likely GZ and headed straight to it...and almost straight in to a hideous spider web Sad After retreating to find a suitable stick I batted a path through and was pleased to quickly make the find. I had noted beforehand that the container appeared to be missing so wasn't sure what I'd find. As it happens the log is in better shape than a fair few I've found WITH a container - and it even had a pen! Yep, all in good shape here so happy to claim the find Smile Bonus was that by the time I got back up top to the multi the muggles had moved on and I made the find there too Smile Awesome spot here - TFTC

01-Nov-17
Scrambled down the hill late at night, careful not to end up with spiders in my hair. It was a bit of a scramble, but the find was easy at G0 (although there wasn't a container). TFTC, a great adventure Smile

19-Aug-17
Thank you! I planned to visit the four metro LGAs I hadn't yet cached in, and dad offered come along and do the driving. We parked nearby and used the suggested coordinates to find a way down. At GZ the cache was found safe and sound, but without a container? Thanks for bringing us here.

12-Aug-17
Wow, a containerless cache? Found log book and pen only.
Out on a wet day knocking off some finds remaining in our neighbourhood.
TFTC!!

08-Jul-17
No plastic container. Only logbook and pen in zip lock bag.

31-May-17
I went for a bit of a caching outing this morning with some Sylvanian Family members who a certain junior from Freckles101 insisted I take while she was at school. I'm glad they found this cache. I replaced the log and ziplock, but it still needs a new container, sorry I didn't have one on me. TFTC aussie-O's

22-May-17
JTAdams38 was on the money I think.

Little maintenance required, nice spot for a cache though.

23-Apr-17
I'm calling dibs at gz after finding a pen and a dead log.
A little maintenance needed!

02-Feb-17
Container has been vandalised. Needs to be replaced. (See photo).

02-Feb-17
Quick find here this morning, but cache has been vandalised and needs replacement. I'll log a Needs Maintenance note (with photo). Thanks for the cache aussie-O's.

24-Dec-16
Nice rocky cache on a cliff with amazing views of the river and the city. TFTH. That brings us to 51 total finds now! Merry Christmas!!

08-Oct-16
Visiting family in WA and there is also time for geocaching.

TFTC and greetings from Germany!

08-Oct-16

With not the nicest of weather about I decided to grab a few park and grabs between showers and grab the last of my missing LGAs. With the weather clearing I decided to take the dogs for a little walk down to this one. Followed the track around and down to the cache which was found without issues. No muggles down here but I could here them partying down by the jetty. I may of noticed them but they certainly didn't notice me. Lovely secluded spot and the dogs loved getting out of the car for a bit but stayed on the leads as I was worried about slithering things. TFTC aussie-O's

11-Sep-16
Great way to spend a afternoon caching. Tftc sl tnln.

10-Sep-16
Found this one recently and hadn't got around to submitting my log until now - typical of me to fall so far behind with my logging though. Better late than never, or so they say. Had attempted to find this one once before, but the angle of approach I used was the wrong one. Today I was luckier, and the cache was found quickly. Beautiful location. Thanks for placing this cache aussie-O's

30-Jul-16
Another find on a nice day by the Swan River. We approached from the top and thought mmmmm, there must be a safer way! So we went for a pleasant walk and took a leaf out of previous finders' books, along a well frequented path, which led us to the cache. TFTC aussie-O's.

30-Jul-16
On a lovely, if not slightly windy day along the Swan River grabbing a few unfound caches. Think we had looked down on this one some time ago, but the height put us off.

Today was a beautiful day for a walk and we found the track/path that seemed well used and made a lovely find at GZ, great to overlook the river from this point and where another smily resides!

Thanks aussie-O's

08-May-16
We followed the well defined path down to the cache. There were several locals using the path too. Though it is confusing that there is a keep off sign. Beautiful views Smile. Tftc

19-Oct-15
Very nice spot. Down is the way to go. TFTC

07-Oct-15
There is a well worn limesome track going straight to GZ so I didn't feel too guilty about hunting for this one. A quick find here. TFTC Smile

21-Sep-15
On my second visit I decided that there would be little consequence of a quick duck in and grab here despite the rehabilitation signs. So it proved - most of the trail to GZ is solid rock anyway. I did disturb a mother bird on her nest of eggs near to GZ so please be careful! Quick find once I got my angles right. TFTC!

08-Sep-15
This is a Did Not Look - it's clearly a no go area and could be for a while - cache should be moved if possible.

23-Aug-15
The entire bushland on the hill is now a marked revegetation zone to help the plants stabilise the ground. It is a no entry area. Could the CO please consider relocating the cache out of the area? Thanks

18-Aug-15
AusLoron and I approached GZ from the top of the hill and as soon as we saw where we'd need to go to get the cache we decided "nope!".

The area is a marked revegetation zone, there might have been trails through there before, but now there isn't supposed to be anybody walking in the bushland. It didn't seem worth damaging that and risking the stability of the sand in the hill for a cache.

First find this morning geocaching along the Swan River at Mosman Park. Took photo of sun rising in the east over the river.

28-Mar-15
This hide had us scrambling up the hillside on the track. Came out at the top and found a sign saying rehabilitation area. Hope all was well. TFTC

08-Nov-14
Found during my trip in this nice area. Very interesting view of the river [^] TFTC and greetings from Slovakia.

31-Jan-14
Lovely spot for a cache. The views are fabulous. GPS took us to the wrong spot at first but we worked it out in the end. TFTC

31-Oct-13
Had to go to Perth for a meeting so I thought I would stop for a cache. Read about the log but forgot to bring a replacement! So walked this track twice and replaced the log in the end Smile I left the tatters of the old one in the bottom. Nice view and a relaxing spot for an afternoon cache.

05-Oct-13
Found after following the jogger trail then turned at the caching trail a nice easy find. Log needs replacing as was a bit wet.
Love this area always come when in Perth

07-Sep-13
Doh should hav bought a new log. Great trail walk though.

Log was a bit old and raggedy, but managed to write my name with the texta. Nice one. This was my find number 27 of 30 on my epic bike ride around the northern suburbs. TFTC

13-Jul-13
TFTC Found on a quick caching run after a day full of shopping.

03-Jul-13
Out with ooh yeh for a day of caching. If there was a hard way down we did it, if there was a long walk back to the car, we did that too. Should have parked at the suggested parking area, it would have been much faster. We found the cache quickly upon arrival and noted cliff face nearby......eeeeeek. Log book needs to be changed as its just mushy.

03-Jul-13
Decided to get a last day of caching in with skippy 46 before i go to bali in the morning. Had another successful day with 26 finds and no DNFS. Most caches were easy finds with a few that took a bit of searching and a couple of sneaky hides to make it a bit more interesting. Definately did this the hard way...Once at GZ the cache was quickly spotted but the log book needs replacing as its just a mushy mess TFTC aussies-O,s

A beaut tranquil spot. However cache not big enough to leave aussie theme swaps. Log is pulp. But glad I came as it really is a great spot with great facilities nearby for a return visit.

A peaceful overnight stay in the bay so while the boys played cricket I wandered up the hill on the path before finding the track and the cache for the wander back. Great views from the top. Thanks for the cache & who ever left the pen as I'd left the boat with only my phone.

01-Apr-13
Found by 6y/o daughter. Log is a bit damp. TFTC
