Went to check this one and hadn't realised it had been archived, showing as temporarily disaked on GCA. I agree it's not there.
Finnaly got around to having a look at this cache, and it has gone missing. Probably now on the bottom of the lagoon.
Didn't do a check on this today, but given the location I doubt it was affected by the recent flooding. Perhaps enable it until you get some DNFs if it cannot be checked soon?
Mmmm! not sure if it survived but at the moment you cant even get near it due to the water level.
I thought this one would survive a flood, but looking at some ariel photos on the news it may be gone.
After the geo kids were giving us hell in the car, I remembered this spot to cool everyone done. It worked!
Thanks for the lovely location.

Stopped in here for lunch fifth for the day. Let the wife and kids go and grab this one while I cooked us up some snags for lunch.
2nd of 5 for the day on a Maitland caching run.
Past some fisher-boys but they were too busy fishing.
Watch out for that boggy patch on the walk over!

Yewenyi and I were in the Maitland area for the Steamfest.
I had trouble getting everything back in, so I decided to run off with the CR-124 travelbug; but I think I know a few places it could go to.

A muggle kid was fishing nearby and was taking waay too much interest in my activities so I enjoyed the view along the lake until he left. Must admit I felt a bit like a park pervert the way I was hanging around.
Left a TB that wants to check out aviation related things.

This was an easy find but due to the recent rains we almost needed gumboots crossing the grass to get to the cache
We found some bread on the way back to the car and got mobbed by geese. They are cute but pushy!

A nice easy one, after finding the way in. Dont you just love wandering around local streets trying to find the closest access to a cache. I eventually did find it, following the local council track in. Once at the corner, it was beeline stuff to the cache, just as a Citylink train rumbled past. Knowing of NSW's troubles with trains, I just hoped it didnt come off the tracks as I was at the cache site. Found at 9.03am Number 37 for the trip.

Nice easy find...the lagoon was a bit eeewwwyy...probably as the water level was quite low, but still plenty of bird life....
T Emigrant Coin TB
T Rolly the Beach Ball Geocoin
took both of these as we live out of the area and are able to move them on to new suitable homes

Been hanging onto sometravel bugs for a while now and work or renovations or un-suitable caches (Daylight) have stopped me from releasing them. So I have taken advantage of a cache on the way to buying some renovation gear and released them to the wild again. I dont think Yachtie Kiwi will see too many races on the lagoon but someone may take him to Lake Macquarie where he will.

I had to dodge the army of geese and ducks to get to GZ [:o]
After the feathery gauntlet it was plain sailing to find the hidden treasure. I grabbed the Kozmik Kayshnoid TB and left Baelrati's Kansas Sunshine Geocoin in memory of this being the first really sunny cache I'd found all week

The perfect cache to introduce my best mate and 4 of his 5 kids to the world of geocaching. Took Bratz pen and left some Doctor Who trading cards and Kozmik TB.
Well we were the dumb pair then, we found AFTER the Hunter Cache Hunters event. Didn't we feel stupid when we found the cache. No exchanges.
Thanx for a cache in a lovely area, even had ducks!

Found at 10.am. One of 10 caches found on our recent holiday to the area. A short stroll around the lake. A bit wet underfoot in places but found the cache without too many problems. TNLN. Thanks.
Relatively easy find without the hint(even in the dark) once the satellites settled. Nice hide. Took CD, left some tape.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Another cache by Team Yota. Always in a pleasant spot.
Took nothing but left a mini CD of maps.
Thanks for the walk in the park.

Easy find in a pleasant area. Very wary of the geese but I didn't get attacked. TNLN.
We finally beat Liz & Bruce to a cache in this area - it seems they have been to everyone that we've found so far. Nice little spot plenty of water birds so bring some bread.

well not every one gets a cache this close to home. Initially tried for this one last night but the GPS had me about 3m in the opposite direction and as i didn't have the hint with me I had absolutely no hope.
Came back this afternoon with Mrs BP, she picked the spot in about 30 sec, how embarasing.
took mini highlighter
Left Fire wise temp Tat

2nd cache for the day, sans kids, and had a pleasant stroll around to the cache. As was mentioned previously, I never realised how big this lagoon actually is, as I've only seen it in passing.
I had let the 60C plot a 'follow the road' course, which got me very close, but would have only worked if I climbed a fence and crossed the tracks. Headed back to an obvious parking spot for a short walk to GZ.
Couldn't resist the stubby holder, and left a carabiner, mini hiliter, and a travel toothbrush.
Thanks for the fun arvo guys.

Yep Mix, you mustn't have missed me by too far. Had BSFjnr and Mrs BSF in tow. Nailed it and then off to Greenhills for some quick shopping.
Took nothing, left nothing. This one's very close to home for me Team Yota so if you ever need a maintenance visit done for ya give me a holler.
Thanks for the find

I got up today with a plan to do some work, I quickly gave up that idea in favour of a drive, Mrs-Mix had a few places in mind so I looked up caches nearby and this was number two on the list. I Knew the area and was confident of the find so all I came with was the GPS with co-ord loaded. Found it easily, after a short walk. Mini-Mix took a ball so Mrs-Mix left a pen, seems we were the second to visit today BSF having just found it. TFTH, GPFAGC.
Imagine my surprise to find this cache within 400 metres of my office desk.
To close to pass up, i had to do it... so i took a 10 minute break to go caching (yes i am addicted).
Well, all i can say is wow, i had no idea there was this much lagoon, you just don't see it from the highway.
Nice spot for a hide. The GPS gods put me about 1 metre off GZ and after consulting the clue found it easily... it was right under my feet.
TNLN
Thanks Team yota for my first ever FTF and a great cache.
P.S I signed the log but forgot to put my name down (its a work day, i'm not with it). I will have to return to add to my log entry.
