A nice easy find once I actually navigated us to the GZ. I took a backroute, thinking the highway wasn't going in the right direction and probably drove about 5km more than I should have.

Dropped in and grabbed this one. I think about our sixth for the day. Son was the proud locator of this one and he let me know it as well.

Talk about muggle city! I was surrounded. There eyes on me from the stopped traffic, the people waiting for the bus across the road, construction workers, office workers and shoppers. I was particularly interested in the local meetings and just had to tell someone about it on my mobile phone while casually leaning against the sign.
Fortunately a bus pulled up on this side of the road blocking the view of the interested bus waiters, the traffic moved on and the construction workers were busy heaving concrete around. TFTC.

Easy find on this one on our way through. Coords were spot on!

This was going to be a real test, not for the usual reasons, but because after leaving the last cache, and riding to this one, my Garmin GPS60 fell out of the RAM mount and spiraled down onto the bitumen road when I was travelling at about 60kph. In the rear vision mirror, I saw it bounce about 8 ft in the air. Bugger I thought, and a newly replaced GPS too. Fortunately, apart from a scrap to the case, and a niggling issue when running off internal batteries, all seems well.
As for the cache, a nice easy one to add to the collection. Found at 12.26pm.

Cheers

Quick easy find, just had to wait for the traffic lights to change.

07-Nov-06
I parked the geomobile across the busy main road and strolled over to GZ Razz
Let It Rain ? you've got to be joking, it's been raining on my cache hunts for the last five days [:o]
Give Me A Sign I cried instead. Lo and behold a sign I got Big Grin
Found the cache after a short look around and with stealth worthy of Inspector Gadget himself extracted and rehid the cache [:o)]

First find after the HCH event. We met up with Shifter Brains and Pesky!. 1st lady found in the first place she looked.
Thanx for the cache

Last log was a no find. Should have a maintenance done this weekend.

12-Jun-06
yeah what grank said.
it was dry after the weekend rains ,but the location eluded us. GZ and several meters around looked freshly cleared.

12-Jun-06
Pesky and I searced the bare earth for about 10 minutes and then back to the car (after searcing the nearby bus shelter) grabbed the laptop and into GSAK. We imagined that there might have been somethkng here once but it looked like the council has cleared the area somewhat.

Easy find - even in the dark, we have one like it.

Nice easy find. The lid of the is broken off, needing repair.

Having sulked for a long enough timeSad, I decided to have another go at this one.

With the clues, it made sense, and was found fairly quickly. Having found it, I'm not suprised I missed it the first time around. Little Miss Rat loved the polished agate, so we left some stickers behind that would at least fit in the container.

Mix's log gives some background on this cache concept, and it appears I am some sort of distant progenitor of this cache. As I am also a spiteful bugger by nature, I'll now have to think of some insidiously evil payback for BSF to thank him for his troubles.

TwistedHmmmmm....

Did this cache as we headed out to the Tuff Truck comp on Friday. Took a little while to find as recent rains had washed alot of debris down the hill. Used the hint and found the prize. Signed the log and were on our way. Thanks

This is a very clever cache!
It's under your nose and you'd never know it.
I left a nice piece of agate because I thought it was needed.
Very well done.
Thanks Heaps!!

[This only took me 20 seconds], as I have hidden two of these myself. In fact the funny thing is that the one you copied in QLD was copied from one I hid in Dubbo, funnier still is the fact that I got the [original idea] from [Steelrat who logged this as a DNF, he he.]

OK, so I must be missing something obvious here, but I'm buggered if I know what.

Had 2 goes at this today, a half hour at lunch, and nearly an hour at dusk. At GZ I found compacted soil, ants and grass. Within six metres I found big, smooth gum trees, flat concrete, and enough broken glass to fill a bottle shop. What I didn't find was anywhere to hide a cache without using a shovel.

Yes, I'm grumpy. So sue me.

Changed the difficulty level and added progressive clues.

Holy cow Burning Possum, that was quick!

The idea for this hide is from a cache hidden by llourd in Brisbane, Victorious. Too good I thought not to steal!

wow what a blast, thats one hell of a hide BSF. Grew up round here and this one is definitely going to be in muggle central at certain times of the day. Technically this took two goes 2hrs apart to log it but an FTF is always nice especially one so close to home.Smile

love the micro container[^]
