This cache has had a wonderful life and has been found by many catchers from both Australia and from overseas.
Due to a recent inspection of the hiding place, it seems there is a lack of regard for replacing this cache as requested, and therefore, this cache is now disabled with a possible replacement and a adjusted name with a new location that will require EVEYONE to replace the cache container accordingly.
I hope to not see a comment of " container found uncovered and contents everywhere " or similar
I have replaced this cache before due to it going AWOL, but hope to have a new one shortly

no problem finding this one as it was sitting in the open, after signing the log we covered it well, so hope it stays that way tftc
Whilst in Barham thought a quick walk will do me good although the rain drizzled consistently... TFTC
[:(!] On arrival at me geosons (Revoluti Solutio) house the previous day to spend part of the weekend with his geowife and three geograndchildren, before going to church we grabbed this one, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.
I like it

Love a good yarn and this is a great one..the better ones have to have a bit of leeway for embellishment. Wish we could tell a good yarn about finding the cache but it was dead easy and in plain view. Covered it as best we could but this park's so clean there wasn't much left to use. TFTC Blatherskite.
What a tall tale and probably not true, but a lovely area to visit. Thanks for showing it to me TFTC Blatherskite

This was our 5th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 13:32
So this now makes our total find count 6390.
[blue]
A nice, quick find. We thought thet it would take quite a bit longer as the tree has snapped, however the access route through the fallen branches was clear.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Mountie.
Thanks Blatherskite for the hunt today.

# 2999. Robmc and I were travelling further north after the weekend event "Cohuna Matata". We ventured into NSW to find a couple. I like the story whether it be ""A tall tale or true....". GZ led us into a very nicely kept park and there were people driving in but turning right instead of where we were parked. A bit of fossicking and we soon had the cache. Onwards we go. TFTC and the tale.
A long weekend's caching around Cohuna with Bettyboo3747.
Very suspicious story, but seeing is believing - where is the carcass now?
A nice spot in a very empty park this morning.
Thanks, Robmc.

Sorry Blatherskite for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks Blatherskite for placing this cache.
Many thanks to Blatherskite,
This was our 5 of 12 for todays cache hunt, Find number 1612 at 11:55:00 AM
We are out and about grabbing a couple of caches whilst at the Cohuna matata event, what better way than with a weekend away.
A nice easy find, did not think it would be as the tree at GZ is down, or is it meant to be that way?
We had a previous DNF on this on the 19th Mar 12, almost 1 year ago.

We enjoyed a fantastic if rather HOT long weekend attending the "Cohuna Matata" Geocaching event.
With the weather in the high 30's we cached in the morning and relaxed in the pool/river in the arvo.
What a great way to explore and enjoy the area.
Thanks to everyone for placing the caches for us to find.

Cache was muggled - lid off, cast aside and full of rainwater. Logbook was dry however. Tidied it up as best I could. Took Barham Bakery magnet, left spaceman.

Quite a few ants here, but happy to stop at the bakery for lunch Cheers Gav [10920]
Tried to grab this on the way past, unfortunatly TomTom is not good at revealing GZ and without cache notes i ferlt there was much time to be lost searching, this one will entice me totake a lunch break next time im in town.
Checked today and cleaned & dried out container. Will need a new zip lock bag.
The log book is okay and there is still over half of the other side of the pages to use !

Found this cache out on the ground and the container quite wet. The log was OK but the plastic bag was very wet. We dried it out as best we could and hid it again. TFTC

The Barham Lakes complex was the lunch stop for Day 3 of the Great Victorian Bike Ride 2011. Fortunately for me this cache was well away from our facilities which made for an easy retrieval.
Thanks for the cache Blatherskite.

My first ever NSW cache after getting close a few times. A delightful surprise is the location generally and yet at the time of our afternoon visit not a soul about. It's the perfect spot for a picnic, kids or not. And Barham has a host of excellent places for a meal. Enjoyed the history and the location thanks to 'Blatherskite'. Found with 'The Comrades'.
My first find and our first find as a family, with a little help from my daughter who introduced us to Caching, it was very exciting for us all . Looked over it at first as we didn't have a GPS with us, but once my daughter arrived with her iphone we located it easily. We were excited to find our first travel bug but left it there as we were heading back into Victoria. Took erasers and teddy and left 2x army men. Later returned with Hubby who hadn't been with us earlier, so he could have his first find. Took nerf bullet and left another army man.
Great location. Gate to park was closed as we arrived around dusk. Still managed to have a find however after walking in from the outside road. Wanted to take the travelbug but we are not planning on venturing further into NSW. Left erasers. Took nothing. TFTC.
We found this one and then had a pleasant walk around the lakes. Thanks Blatherskite.

An easy find in a great park for the kids.
Took ping pong ball and left stickers.
Also dropped off a travelbug (TB2A3P1) that we picked up in Melbourne.
We hope someone can pick him up and continue his journey further into NSW.

Great spot and good hide. Lovely 26 degree day in Barham, walk around lake was Lovely.
A perfect day in Barham, and the cache was checked on for it's condition and contents. All was good, but the key chain had gone rusty and was staining the container and some of the other contents.
All cleaned out and returned to the hiding spot.

A beautiful sunny day. We had lots of fun finding this and were very excited about it because this is our first find
Found it with a family new to geocaching, it was their first cache! Took the travelbug. TFTC
A beautiful day for caching, but we had a more important mission in mind. We were in the area to pick up our new puppy (future geo-hound), but we couldnt pass up the chance to collect a cache, especially since it was on a page we hadn't been able to tick off yet, for the UBD Challenge. Found the cache without too much trouble, it's a great little spot. Thanks! Left Frog TB.
A joint find with 1 aussie fun seeker easy find
took horse and put in tractor
great spot tftc
Found it with aussie fun seakers, was a good find
Took the cow, left Xmas bell.

I don't know what to believe.
It sounds like bull, or what the barman said
I did enjoy a stroll around the waters edge this morning.
Keeping a safe distance of course
Nearby the cache was lurking and it wasn't long before I got close to it....and pushed it out of it's hiding spot
I signed the logbook and dropped in the catch of the day...... Trevor Trout travel bug

What a great tale!!! Not sure if it's true or not, but we enjoyed the wander and the location. TFTC.
Was passing through and grabbed this one late at night.
It was a little hard getting to it as there was a huge golden orb spider in a massive web hanging just above the cache site. Its the strongest web that ive ever come across.
With out a word of a lie it felt like fishing line when you plucked it and it still didint break.
so it was a 'get on you belly and crawl' forward and retrieve the cache.
Left a Mini dice.
Thanks
