After almost 10 years, this series will be consigned to the history books. Over the next month or so as I get around to all the caches and pick them up, freeing up these pretty locations for some new caches [^]
This one is now gone!

Cache for the day required and was meeting people nearby for work but had arrived early, so what better than to go to the lofty peaks and grab a cache.
Drove up the driveway through the fog and rain and parked.
Out of the car and a quick dash through the rain and scrub and a careful descent to GZ where the GPS had me bouncing all over the place but soon spotted the hide before getting too wet. Extracted the log, signed it and replaced it in its little covered hide.
Then a dash back to the car so as not to get too wet and still making the meeting with time to spare.
Not a great day for views. Fog everywhere, and cold, but a smile on the face with the cache for the day secured.

About to embark on a walk around and down and up.
I thought I'd grab this seeing it was close by.

Out with the geokids for a hike and a few caches. We parked near Cleland Wildlife Park and then set off on foot.
Today was the first time I had been this track. Looking forward to hiking from the bottom once the kids are a little older.
It was a good 15 minute search but thankfully our persistence paid off.
Thanks for the cache.

We were up at cleyland park, when we decided to pop in to find this one on the way out. Nice views from up here! Took a while to find. Found both containers in the end - what is the story with that? Evie took something, and so I left a pathtag. (in the dry container - the other one is soaked, and should be removed). Thanks 4fun.
We are keen geocachers on holiday from New Zealand and looking to collect a few smileys as we go.
Nobody taking any notice of us tripping through the bush land, even though the place was pretty busy. Found the cache and signed the log, all good, then decided that the stones were too heavy and might break the lid, so stole some smaller ones from the other side of the possie and guess what.... there was another smaller cache there as well. The smaller one had a temporary log which was very wet and hard to sign. So there are actually two caches side by side. If you find the wet log, look about 2 hand spans away and there is a dry one in a larger container! TFTC

Almost gave up as GPS was acting up. Master 11 had one last look and came up trumps with the goods! Log too wet to sign.

Found it! After 10 frustrating minutes lol. A good hide for an almost simple drive-by . Found on Sat. 20 Feb at 11:33. Tftc
A few short hours with Purrfect Di and she helped me find some caches.
What a catch
She zoomed in on this one and we soon had it signed off.
Both of it!
Last time I looked here I couldn't find a cache, this time found two!

After visiting Cleland Wildlife Park we grabbed this cache. It took some searching with all the rocks to turn over. Hello from Calgary, Canada. Enjoying our time in Australia. TFTC.
After a very hot day it was a surprising pleasant evening in the hills to find a few caches with Clare007.
We decided at the last minute to visit Mt Lofty as neither of us had been here before. What a pity, such a beautiful spot. I will be back for sure.
The cache proved a bit of a challenge but then we located 2 cache containers almost in the same spot. One with the original logbook, the other had a piece of paper with a couple of names on it. We signed the original but placed them both back where we found them. Thanks for the adventure down the hill a bit, four-fun

Out with hevwalker caching in the cooler evening weather.
We didn't plan on coming up here, but the lurer of two trads & a Earthcache had our attention.
It took two laps of this area to find the cache and discovered not one but two caches.
A recent addition as only two names appear on a piece of paper in the 'new' cache.
Nice spot, thanks for the cache four-fun

Very busy day up at the summit today, had to move quickly. Many potential hiding spots, but eventually located, thanks

An after dinner excursion to be shown the sights from Mt Lofty. Quite chilly up here this evening. While others were still enjoying the view I ducked off for a quick walk to find this cache. Soon found. Took TB. TFTC.

#1864 Taking Jams35 & monks55 to the airport and called in here to take in the view on a lovley sunny day. I note they dated the find incorrecty as being on the 21st. No TB in cache so that must've been left after us today. We all had inappropriate footwear on (ie. thongs) but managed to negotiate the slope ok and make the find. Thanks four-fun.
Found this, this morning before the paper was added I did not have any I'm on a cruising holiday from Perth to Sydney on the explorer.
Doing the tourist thing after bring in town for a conference. Decided to grab this while in the area. No trouble finding however there was no log book and unfortunately nothing on me to replace it. Great area to explore. TFTC
Found while visiting the area from Ballarat (Vic) we have been in the area for the Bay to Birdwood classic car rally, and always enjoy a visit to this beautiful area, we also had friends from the UK, and wanted to show them the beauty of the place too. while the rest of the family and friends went on we made the side trip to locate the cache, took us a little while but was eventually in hand, signed and returned, and we were able to return to our group before they knew we were missing lol. Unfortunately time and muggle friends meant we were unable to do much caching here but the plan is to, hopefully, return and add more smiles soon. TFTC
Cache is a blue lid container with no log and no clue as per description.
Needs maintenance.
Coords may be off a little, but a bit of patience and broader search will reward.
Under rocks near small tree it is.

Found on a hike to Mt. Lofty with hannebrunes. No log in the container, but I have a photo. Greetings from Norway. Tftc!

on our way to Hahndorf skippy and I visited Mt. Lofty. It was pretty chilly up here and the sight was very poor. So we didn't stay long just grabbed this little cache and moved on.

Centrocampisto wanted to show me the sights of Adelaide and the Hills.
Along the way the stopped for a few caches.
After visiting the lookout we took a quick (it was soooo cold) stroll to look for the cache.
Found it.
Logged it.
Got back in the warm car!

After a lovely hike with my Mum we found this double on the way home. Loved it!
Thanks. Two for one. Was an opportune grab so no pen to sign the log sorry. Nice spot on a frosty old day
Found by Lexie of Chillipalooza along with, Zac, David, Bev and the Aussie branch of the GronwoldFamily/Dobie's Pride.

Forgot to mention we left a Semaphore Greek festival wristband and took a blue panpipe whistle. Also we found a Swiss geocoin which wasn't listed in the inventory.
Wandered to this spot from the free car park at the top with daughter in tow. Took a bit of skill not to slip and slide getting down here as it had rained recently. Took Smiley Badge, left Pipe Whistle. Cheers.
We arrived very early in the morning so we had a choice of carparks! We were lucky with our search and found the container in a likely spot early on. Always nice to do an older cache. TFTC
Visited this spot with my cachemate ead84 during our Holidays in Australia.
Lovely views from up here! Searched also for the cache and found it quickly.
Thanks for this cache!

Shadio and Abidoo2013, and I are out for an afternoons caching. TBs enjoying the day out as well.
I dropped them off at a path near the cache them went to park the car, after paying my $3 for a parking permit I wandered over to them, cane in hand so I can keep my balance, and help them locate a cache I have found before, got GPS to 2m and looked around, there, perhaps there, maybe there .. Ahh its there.
Trees will have you walking in circles a little, so look in, over, under everything, and the cache will soon be in hand.

We searched all around but had no luck. I think the rocks affected our GPS too. But no doubt it was our lack of ability that was the issue today and it is no doubt there somewhete.
There are multiple trees similar to the one described in the hint, but this find didn't take long. Thankfully too, as soon as I came back onto the track, muggles galore! TFTC
Was staying at Mount Lofty House for a family function and walked up to this one after checking out the view from the summit. Didn't really like the bush bashing, but GPS took a while to settle down and then we saw it in its nook. Thankx
After gazing at the fabulous view from Mt Lofty summit on a gorgeous day, we headed down to the GZ. Hmm... lots of rocks and lots of small trees. After 15 minutes of overturning rocks, we widened our search. A bit of bush bashing required, but geogirl excitedly had CIH.
No pencil to sign log, but we threw in a couple of dinosaur erasers.
TFTC in a great spot.

Nicely hidden near the summit of Mount Lofty. Here on holiday from WA thanks for the cache
Found this while staying at Woodhouse Scout Park For AV2015. Had the day off and decided to do some caches in the area. #27 for the day and the last on this wet and rainny day. Searched for about 10 minutes before having cache in hand. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Found it after GPS did a lot of jumping around. Lucky that the path was clear of muggles long enough to locate the cache. TFTC grabbed trackables. Signed log.

Bit of a search and gps was not overly accurate but after a bit of time (and luck not having and muggles walk past) I found it. If the the description was talking about is small I want to buy real estate from this person!!! Regardless, found it in the end signed log and dropped Tb. Tftc, enjoyed finding this one
Found it after a bit of a search. GPS jumping about a bit. Luckily no muggles came along the path while searching for the cache. Grabbed trackables and signed log. TFTC
Tftc since quick find today out with my sister whilst holidaying with her here in Adelaide. TB dropped
Yay! We found it after a couple of tries. Not a drive-by (which misled us!) but by a rocky area
Found it after a nice walk from waterfall gully
