Doing a few caches on a trip to Murray Bridge, this was the first of a few. Always love coming to cemeteries for a read all about the locals, how sad some of the family graves have some very young ones.
Its a shame some of these ornate headstones have fallen into disrepair, but as families move away or dont reproduce enough off spring there arent enough people to keep up the maintenance.
Thanks for another oldie cache being kept going, thanks to Hurtle and Klem's Mob for the cache and wander. TNLNSL

Quick find! Catching up with a Woodchester local who I met 40 years ago!! Tftc Lovely little cemetery!!
Cemeteries can be very interesting, particularly country town cemeteries. Thinking of all the people and how they might have lived their lives around the area in the 1800s till now. Thanks for keeping this one going.
Camping at Langhorne creek for a lazy weekend of R&R and of course caching. Today was our last day and after returning to the van after a morning of caching, we had some lunch, had a rest, then packed up, hooked up and headed how. This was a quick find on the way home. TFTC
Day 32 of our southern trip. We are Team "4 for QLD" - RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947.
Today's adventure takes us from Sedan to Victor Harbour and back.
At last a Cemetery cache. I never thought we'd get to do one on this part of the trip.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on February 10, 2022. TFTC, Klems' Mob

Having spent a few days at Strath this is one that was found and signed on our way home.
Another caching day with Doctor Owl was organised this time heading to Victor Harbor to start with and then just getting stray caches while completing a big circuit. [^] The sky looked threatening but we only had a few spots on our nice drive on some roads we both had not been on before. A successful day finding all the caches we looked for.
We noted the snake sign on the fence and were glad we weren't with CPwanderer (the snake whisperer) as we had to walk through some long grass on our way to GZ. Cache quickly found and log stamped.
Thanks for the cache Hurtle.

Time for another road trip to unwind! Owl gathered JJ52 and took off. The rain was thinking about starting but they managed to avoid it and did a big circuit of the south to collect stray caches that appeared on the map, including some of those 'one day' caches. Having ticked off the target caches in record time they decided to head off to some other areas. This was the next stop.
Just meandering home after picking up something at Macclesfield. Seemed like a good one to do. TFTC. Jumped out after an enexpected shower to do this one.
It was the perfect day to wander around and discover places I hadn’t been before. TFTC

We visited this cemetery a couple of times over the weekend so stopped off to claim the smiley. Tftc
For the JLWE game day we decided to hide two temporary containers near this little cemetery. When we ran into another team hiding some caches here, they explained that a permanent cache was already here and we were standing pretty much on top of it!
So the logbook was quickly signed and we were on our way again to do some more hides.
Tftc!

Accidentally stumbled on this 15 year old on my way home from Langhorne Creek.
I see both Ferries and MacDonalds buried here.
Thanks Klems Mob, and thanks Hurtle for keeping this one going.

What an awesome day! The weather was fabulous, we ventured around areas we normally fly pass on the highway.
We came across some beautiful scenic views, travelled roads not travelled before, searching cemeteries/graveyards for long lost relatives and even having lunch outside an old church.
Geocaching along the way, we had 3 DNF's, picked up 3 TB's and had an absolute ball/

Today I needed a puzzle and a multi so set myself a short 10 cache run that would incorporate both in the short time I had available for caching.
Both missions were accomplished and home in time to chat to my Mum in the UK on time.

Having a day trip to Strathalbyn while staying in Wallunga and stopped for many caches while out and about. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches to enhance our visit to your area.
Out caching today and arrived at GZ to find this cache. Spotted it and signed log. TFTC Klems' Mob
This afternoon after work, I headed to Strathalbyn primarily to complete the new *Bletchley* series, but also to visit a few others around the outskirts of Strathalbyn and in the town itself. It was a free evening for me, but one of the worst weather-wise - most of the evening it just drizzled and was damp, and walking through soursops and weeds had my runners drenched by the end of the night.
This was an interesting little cemetery. I normally don't mind cemeteries at night, but I started thinking spirit-ish thoughts whilst walking through, and the small building at the end was a little creepy with the smashed door. It took me a few minutes to realise where the coordinates wanted me, but eventually spotted the nice hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Klems' Mob for the cache placement, and Hurtle for its ongoing maintenance.

A great day out caching. Wasnt meant to rain today but there was a few showers whilst out. Luckily the bed wasnt wet when we got home (left all the vents open) The roads/tracks were pretty busy today but all good.

Lucky no slithery creatures today, so cache was found quickly, log signed and returned with no incidents. Tftc
An interesting little spot, not sure what this building was for but seemed as though it wasn’t big enough to be a church.
Cache was soon found in good condition
Today I headed south to cache around some of the back roads, mainly focused in and around Strathalbyn. With the weather almost perfect it was a good day out with 36 finds in total.
Thanks for the cache

After a pleasant afternoon of wine tasting and pizza, the only logical thing to do was caching! TFTC! Caching roadtrip with CrackedChelle
We took the short diversion off our route to come and search for this cache which we soon located once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for having bought us to this peaceful resting place. Greetings from Zimbabwe

On our way from Murray Bridge to Langhorne Creek we looked for a number of caches. This was one of them.
Mary's Memorial Gates certainly reflect the esteem with which Mary was held. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Klems'Mob for the cache.

Quickly located in one of Mrs Gizmo's favourite type of locations. Then we had a look around and took some photos.
We have been nearing a milestone for a while and Mrs Gizmo decided that today was the day to get those last few finds and reach the milestone. So a list was made and we set off on our journey from Tailem Bend to Murray Bridge via Langhorne Creek, Strathalbyn and finally Salem.
We managed to find all of our target caches and had lots of fun along the way. A day of interesting locations, clever hides and some silliness. The best type of day.

On our way to WA via the slower wriggle roads. Spending a couple of days near Strathalbyn so decided to see some of the sites and grab some caches as well.

Traveling from Victor Harbor to Mt Gambier. Along the way we are stopping for a few caches, some to break up the drive, others that caught our eye. Thanks for the caches.
VikingNav and I are driving from Victor Harbor to Mount Gambier today. We made the trip even better by geocaching our way down the roads and trails. This was one of the fun finds we made along the way. Thanks for placing this cache here to help make the trip more enjoyable. I appreciate your contribution to the Caching world!
#2878 A small cemetery with a small stone building at the rear. We enjoyed exploring the grounds before making the quick find. Thanks for maintaining this hide Hurtle.
On my way to Robe and saw this little cemetery and stopped, thinking what a perfect place for a cache. And there is was. Little geopath and geopile helped. Thanks for making my drive more fun.
Stopped by tonight and replaced the cache and added a new logbook also.
Dropped a TB in too.
Thanks for the heads up.
Happy caching...
