It's time for some renovation and rejuvenation
Just picked it up on workers day I can't bring my self to say L$^$#^r Day - man it's very wet - seems that a stream runs over the top of that hiding place - not helped by cachers stuffing unbagged stuff into the box - seems to me that it is better to not add anything when a box is full up

Found this cache without too much trouble. The cache is very wet and requires the owners attention. Log book is mush along with other items in the cache.
Bumped into another geocacher also in search of the cache.
Took some time to enjoy the scenery. Thanks.

Ran into the Hornet Geo-family - nice to meet you
Cache was sopping wet, very little survived. Unfortunately, this was the last cache of the day for me, and I didn't want to hold on to the TB. Hope it fares well.

Our first cache in New Zealand, very nice one! Good hidden, but unfortunately very wet. Great picnic place, very nice walk. Thank you very much! TNLN
2.15pm. Cache had about 25mm of water in the bottom
We had another log book with us and bag so left it in the cache along with some silica gel to try and keep the moisture out.
Also left old log book, but this will need to be removed.
All the trades are also soaked.
I think the seal of the container is not working as the camo paint is stopping it.
A cool area all the same. [8d]

Things have changed and grown around here in the last couple of years! Great cache. GR spot on
Spotted this looming up on the GPS.
Quick find and GPS cocords bang on with me.
Yay! a cache I can drop an overdue TB into.
In with the TB, Bangle and marbles.
Out with Squirrel and Kiwi, kids happy with that.
Nice spot!

Waitangi Day and our first search for the day. Our GPSr wasn't cooperating so we had to phone-a-friend. TEALNZ confirmed we were on the right track and we quickly found it.

Yeah, a nice walk in, meet some trampers, found after getting new cords off PDA, email sent to owner, I remember the photo of this container on GPS forums, thanks for the hide!
Cheers!

That is a nice little area of New Zealand with heaps of local history. A nice easy fine on a slightly overcast day.
GPSr all over the place and ran out of time after waiting for muggles to pass through and having a poke round the more likely spots. We'll be back
Didn't know this was here. Lovely spot. Had a friend in tow with us. Instuctions bang on. Our number 9. TNLNSL TFTC
Nice place and love the way the picnic tables are done. GPSr not much use in here, found using the clue.

3.14pm cool place, one of our favourites to walk. Took a little while to find. We started looking on wrong side of path (seeking muddy shoes) but it was obvious when we finally located it. Andy dismissed the correct location first off as no mud in site.

Quick find after we located the man-made ??? - Signed the log book at the waterfall, had to wait for a couple of muggle kids to leave the area before re-hiding the cache. Nice cammo and nice little bush walk. Enjoyed bouncing up and down on swing bridge, great fun.

Not the weather for a picnic and rather cold on the walk. I hope this counts as a FTF since it is a replaced cache with new co-ordinates. Certainly hidden in a cachers hiding place. Another successful find for the afternoon.

checked all corners and couldn't find. There were even 6 of us looking!! three of which we were trying to convert to geocaching
Going to this cache gave me a sense of deja vu. After checking GSAK I was here in November 2003 doing another cache about 30m from this one. I think the old one has been disestablished. Nice to see a formed path and wooden walkway now. Back then it was a muddy track.

12.10pm. Nice walk in bush reserve we had not visited previously. YAPIDNA. Once we knew not to take the distinction usually applied between corners and curves seriously we found the cache easily.

Hot day to be out caching, but we were out at the Celevdon Woolshed today and took a side trip to find this cache. TN, left a Canada pin. Thanks
yes lovely little area but there seemed to be an buzz... like a swarm of bees or maybe wasps near by??? not sure but to be safe I wouldn't wander off into the bush to find out !!
Found with BFR, was the second find for the day. A really nice bush/reserve area.
Found the cache without too much trouble, only some people down at the scout area.
Cheers

Found it after a bit of searching - was well hidden underneath some dead fern leaves. TNLN
Looks like a nice place - there seem to be a few walking track options. We will probably come back as a family next time and do the walks. My son and I managed to select the right track for the cache using the GPS and were soon at GZ. As a previous cacher mentioned, the co-ordinates provided for the cache were about 10m out, but the clue was all we needed to find it. You are absolutely right, there is no need to get wet feet doing this - unless you are way off with your GPS and slip into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall ; )
TNLN.
Thanks.

Another great little spot that would never have been visited if wasn't for our new pastime of geocaching. Had to read the clue though.
Out - toy truck.
In - decorative butterfly candle.
How many children's toyboxes have been plundered in the name of geocaching? But hey - I love the truck I will reluctently pass it on sometime in the future.

A great little spot, on a hot and sultry day.
Found the Cache without difficulty with AC claiming the honours, it was a bit wet inside so we dried it out, contents seemed ok though.

Yah!! At the Clevedon Farmers market so couldn't wait to try again. With the decoded hint and lovely sunny weather it was no problem today. With all the recent rain it was a great time to visit as the waterfall was flowing strongly and looked great. What a great place that we had no idea existed. Thanks for a great cache.
Traded small items.

Oh dear!! Great place, had no idea it was here and will return on a sunny day WITH the hint page to search again!! Got muddy and soaked but had a fun time and had a very friendly fantail laughing at our efforts the whole way.
Great spot for a picnic! We needed to decript the clue but finaly found the cache. A little wet inside but still in good shape. We took nothing and left a Canada Pin and a coloured poppy quarter (1st of its kind in the world). Thanks, Canoegals, Winnipeg, Canada
Found it at 13.00 hrs. Nice walk in storm and rain.

Did get wet and muddy. Excavation and earthworks to build a new parking area underway. Lost all GPSr reception in the cache location but found it by deduction! Nice camo job. Can't believe that I attended a first aid course at this camp 20 years ago and we had scenarios in the quarry. There were no paths then.
Getting late, but remembered the location from a Willbuild cache. Swapped batteries from GPSr to torch and voila. Left TB and took key ring. TFTC
Cycling with XenaCommander.... First call on the way out from Clevedon to Duders. What an awesome boardwalk but the place was totally infested with Muggles.
Sly training to prepare XC for his share of cycle around Taupo later in the year....
XC asked: How far? .. TK replies "About ten k"
XC asked: Is it flat? ... TK replies "It is largely flat"
TK being an unrepentant finagler of the truth had XC riding 26km .. the farthest he has ever been on a bicycle...on a nice undulating road with a great tailwind back to a well earned lunch treat at Clevedon.
After lunch returned to GZ to find it nicely deserted, cache found easily.

Cycling from Clevedon to Duder beach!!! miles and miles... TK is doing more sneaky training of XC..
At least my legs feel better for it but was cursing her for a while.
We stopped by here before ride but was being guarded by muggles... So came back after ride. beautiful spot and best board walk I have seen.
TK honed in as usual... I have to hunt on my own to actually find them!! lol...

Area changed a bit since I camped here as a scout over 25 years ago before going over sea to live. Camp full of campers.
Last time I was here was for Willbuild's cache - I thought I'd better wear gumboots this time! Very glad to see a boardwalk there now, but still glad I had the gummies today - it was such a bog, I wondered what was holding the boardwalk up! Searched an area a little prematurely before reading the clue. TNLNSL.

Lovely local spot for us, didnt know it existed. 2 year old very excited! First find!
Nice new walk, still got muddy shoe when stepped of to look for cache in wrong place. Great views from further on if you have time.
Good camo paintjob and very civilised spot to sit and fill out the log. Several fantails around the track on the way up. Thanks.
