I had some time to do some geocaching while my wife was at a conference, and enjoyed the walk out around Parramatta, nice easy find. TFTC.
After a good trip down to Parramatta I some some spare time before todays training course and headed for this cache. A quick find followed and then a longer search for a place in the log to sign.
Thanks.

Nice easy find, early in the morning. Don't know how I missed it last time. Thanks.
Found this one after picking the mrs up from a day of shopping. A nice little park in a busy busy area. TFTC
I had to provide my own log on a bit of paper. The log in the cache has been efftected by water and is full. I would of replaced it but My caching kit was at home and I was on my way home from work.
Ease find as I was in the area for a short while.
Needed to provide my own log as the old log needs to be replace as it is full and wet.

Quick find on the great Top Gear tour with Geo-uncle Lat & Long Junkie. It's amazing how many of these there are around and they all seem to have caches in them. TFTH
Saw the name of the cache and the size was micro. "Oh no", I thought, "another miniscule nano cache on a field gun". Fortunately, it was not that sort of cache and not that sort of gun. You Sydney-siders love those key holders, don't you . In Brisbane it would be an Eclipse box. I guess that means you're safety conscious while we're breath fresh conscious. Cache could do with a replacement logbook. TN/LN/SL.
Boy this park seems to be suffering from the heat. Not one blade of grass is green and not a drop in the water feature. Found the Cache after a very short search.

Surprisingly muggle free at the time we arrived. Timed our retrieve/replace via the traffic gaps with one eye on the dispersing Sunday congregation up the road. Quick urban hides like these are a favourite!

Not many muggles around at 9.30 PM. The torch helped us find the cache quickly.
Had the place to myself on a lovely Saturday arvo. Nice easy one thanks. I also had a look around the adjoining cemetery while I was there - it's a real historic relic that one! Thanks.
BTW: The log is almost full.

Not too many places this one can be. Had to be super quick about it as council workers were working just up the park a bit. Put our hands straight on it.
Decided that the best way to enjoy the great weather was a bit of caching. Dropped in and after a brief search of the heavy metal I had the cache.
Signed the log, which is falling apart. Cheers.

As the ferry wasn't leaving for a while decided to do at least one and this was it. Found easily on a windy day. Thanks shaggys
WanderingAus wandered by at 6:45 PM on day 116 of a 6 month trip Wandering Australia and made an easy find by the light of the passing cars (well, by feel actually).

When I arrived at the cache i saw an accident has happend on the road. A lot of people are standing arround to see whats happend. So I set on a bench an waited until the police arrived. While everybody was distracted by the police i grabbed the cache.
The cache is really fast to find but it takes a long time to grab it without beeing detected

[Liam the map boy found this one, fairly quick find, log is falling apart, but still usable. TFTC SL]
Found at 1555. After a brief search, my hand accidentally knocked this one on he ground. It's not held there very securely, but it works...just.

Our third trip, and we were about to give up thinking either we were crazy or the whole rest of the world had cheated us somehow... Then a find, and what a celebration. For some reason this one really eluded us.
The log is saturated, the pencil is broken. We hadn't brought our usual stuff to help out sorry.

We've come here before and had a good look all around, and again this time with no success. There is a lot of very evil looking gluey liquid in the spout that does not invite a hand to forage for a cache. I hope it isn't in there, I wouldn't like to imagine the state of it if it is!
Comming here before and didn't find it. Came here, then found a man who was sitting on a seat, and looking like drunk, so we walked past and he went accross the road into the next street. So walked to Blown Away, looking in the shoot, and there was a pen and a can with water, so I thought, it won't be there, so I looked more, poked my hand, then it fell on the ground, the pages were falling apart, so I wrote in it. I wonder why I missed it before, because I looked in the exact spot and it wasn't there before. Hard to hang up the cache because it fell off it all the time. Any way we found the cache easy, and went back to my aunties place to have some tucker.
Thanks Shaggys for this great micro geocache.

This was 1 of 29 finds for the day. A few mugglers were close by, but I took care of it with no problems at all. TFTC SL
Finally, not sure what was wrong with me before but this time walked right up to it and put my hand on it straight away. Sometimes, it just doesn't work but today there were no problems.
At least this time it was easy to search cause a local group were cleaning up the cemetary. No strange men lurking about. i had thought the cache might be in the only place I hadn't looked last time so I came armed with gloves. I fitted right in with the volunteers, but my lack of grey hair may have given me away and that I was "working" in the wrong area.
SL and put back the cache. It was tricky trying to make it stay in its hidey hole. I dropped it a number of times.
Dropped off a TB for a visit but cache is too small to leave behind.

aussy_watsy and I found this baby, interesting story..lets just say that I almost chucked it before I found it! TFTC!
We spent some time here looking and looking....couldn't find the cache anywhere! I may need to go back and tackle it again another day.

Had to call a friend to make sure we were looking in the right place., a torch was a big help and we soon had the cache.

Drive past- 'I think there is a cache in that park'. On return without GPS spotted the likely location and searched without success. Rang my brother and after he gave me the co-ords I was in the right spot and cache soon in hand!
No luck with this one today. I was having such a good run prior to this, I knew it wouldn't last.

what an easy spot i think it was in the wrong spot so i put it in a better spot just next to where i found it
We found this one with Moozel, Paegleboy and Tom Lambert. Tom Lambert ended up finding it just sitting on the ground but we put it back where we thought it should be placed. TFTC. Nice easy one to kick off the trip home.
I was about to give up when I had a last feel around and located the cache. A lovely bit of history around here.
Yeah - saw the GZ for this one about 100m away but it's tough to grab in daylight between sets of lights.
A cool lunch time distraction.

DNF this one a year ago. Better luck this time. Cache not big enough to leave a TB so they had to be content to just visit.
Found at 510 pm TFTC had to wait awhile until some people had left area.

Grabbed this one whilst in Parramatta for a meeting - it was close enough to say it wasn't really out of the way.
Interesting that this piece of equipment used to sit where the Opera House now is........ I don't think it is quite as impressive as the "House"
Nice Hide - Thanks for the cache.

Took two attempts but this time was successful. No two legged muggles around but plenty in four wheels. Had to grab it in between traffic light changes. TFTC.
Tried last weekend but was approached by an "interesting" person. Not sure where he escaped from. There was no way he was leaving before me and he was intent on chatting so I made my exit without a thorough search.
Came back today, looked and looked, under, over, inside ( the only place I was "not" putting my hand, under again. No luck.
Any clues??? Is it still there?

An excellent cache to end a long day of geocaching. In the rain, at night, there were only a few Muggles around. We needed torches to find it, but it didn't take long.
Strange to think this object used to stand where the Opera House can now be found...
Thank you for the cache.

Obviously we need a bit of second hand equipment here is Westmead to help protect ourselves from those invaders from farther east. Nice spot, I have been meaning to get around to this one for ages as it is the closest to where I live.
I tried this through the day but way too much muggle interferance. Came back at night and found it really easily.

Almost 3pm and I avoided the shopping trip and left Mrs Roosta at the nearby big centre so I could stop here and have a look around. Almost needed a stick too, but just got it in time, and beat the school rush hour too. TFTC shaggys,

Found by Mary & David at 1420. Mary could have spent ages in the enclosure next door. No problems with the cache. Our thanks to shaggys.
Found after some looking. I needed a stick to extract the cache. Thanks for the cache.
What a beautiful, derelict cemetary. I'm glad I brought the boy along, as he didn't look silly crawling all over and under an cannon in the park right next to a highway. This was our first micro cache, thanks for placing it. Socks and son of socks.
We had an interesting walk around the area after logging this cache. Certainly is a mine of information if you take the time to read the plaques!

The GPS needle beeped away
A cache is close
Our main course we didn’t have to stray
A mad dash to the GZ
It wasn’t hard to see
Where the cache trail led
Not a muggle in sight
So the poor cache
Didn’t put up much of a fight

I had to use stealth with this one to avoid waking the drunk who was sleeping on the bench at the cemetery entrance nearby. A nice easy find to start the day.

Bainsworld did a good job, as I didn't see until 15 minutes of searching. Always wondered what existed on the spot where the Sydney Opera House now stands.
#73 It is satisfying to learn that your DNF was due to the cache being muggled and to then come back and find it once replaced. I could see this one on arrival so have carefully replaced it so it is not as obvious. Easy but enjoyable, thanks shaggys.
What an interesting area! SL Thank you for sharing this nice park and lovely cemetery. The history was "new" to us, the hunt was fun, and of course thank you also for the cache shaggys!
Looked and looked but could not find.
Didn't want to hang around too long, might look a bit sus.
Unless its among the rubbish in the hole. But i wasnt sticking my hand down there for anyone....!
Interesting bit of history though.
Thanks

This cache is back up and running now.
Took a few attempts to re stash it over the last few weeks. There was always just someone lurking around to put it off a bit longer.

Dropped by this cache on my way home yesterday, the cache is definitely gone. Went back this morning to replace it, but a gardener was at work nearby. Will try to replace it sometime later this weekend.
this cache has gone. Unless its in the barrel, its no where to be seen, and we had lots of time to search whilst waiting for the NRMA.
Suggest the owner checks and archives this one.

The name seemed obvious when we arrived at the GZ. Crawled all over the object and also examined other likely locations surrounding but no luck with this one. Previous log indicates the muggles may have intervened?
Found this around midday pretending to be looking at the structure and scrutinising it. Found lyind on the ground so placed it back where I think it should of been,

Our last Parramatta cache for the day. A quick find but no time for a tour of the nearby yards. Thanks for being part of our Parramatta tour. Go the Eels
Found it under the cover of darkness though not without looking in some fairly stupid spots first . TFTH.
This was the second cache found in my 12 km. walk around Parramatta caches. It was dark and, apart from the passing traffic, there was no-one else around to take interest in my search. The cache was found quickly and easily. Thanks for the cache.
Dropped by this afternoon to check on this cache, its still there though it has creeped a little bit from its original hiding spot.
