Didn't realise that this one had been archived ... found where it should have been ... but obviously a DNF for me .... interesting location though!
Cache missing. Area well trampled, found a small black lattice & wine bottle. Neighbours very watchful.

Note to self: Have a glance at past logs from time to time, cache no where in sight and would appear has been missing for some time.
Had a big look in Grannie's plants but couldn't find anything. Got sprung by a neighbour who ended up being quite friendly. He had actually seen Zytherin hiding the cache and went and checked it out but not knowing what it all was decided to leave it alone. He showed us where he saw the cache but we still found nothing.
They have had dramas with vandals around the tank so we wondered if some kids had found the cache and taken it.

Searched for 1/2hr then Neighbour popped his head over and asked what we were doing. We explained what geocaching was he said he'd seen someone put a bag thing under the bush he didn't know what it was so he went and had a look and put it back. He showed us where he'd seen it and it wasn't there. There were some beer bottles around and said there's been a heap of kids here during the school Hols.
He said if its been taken and it gets replaced then he'd look after it. Anyhoo we may be blind.
Thanx for bringing us here the neighbour's really nice.

Our GPS kept pinting to someones house
and we didnt really want to look around there.
we searched the area but no luck with that.

Found it! Love caches that take me to a little known part of town... TFTC!
Found this one today on a cache bike riding hunt! Hoped the tap might fill our drink bottles, but alas it did not! TFTC Took nothing, left badge!
I knew this would be explained better once I was around the corner, I was sure I was being lead into the unknown.. I hate those nanna plants ugly and stinky

An easy traditional by Zytheran? Had to get Don't Panic Arthur and check this one out. And it was.

Amazing little piece of history here, well worth the visit. Very un-Z-like! No nasty puzzle, no nasty terrain; just a a gentle stroll in the park. Must be a catch. Nup! TFTC Z.
Found with Fred6603 on our SA adventure trek. We were able to locate it quick enough. TFTC,

Found with Roostaman at 0835 on our South Australia odyssey. Nice quick find in an interesting area.
Thanks Zytheran.
Thanks Zytheran.
No free drink not even any water in the stream. Easy find after a short walk. Thanks Zytheran
Where has all the water gone, does the council have this gift of free water for the people shut up or has the spring run dry? We turned the tap and was looking forward to a cool drink and got zilch. TNLN TFTC
Ahhh... nice little bit of history sitting unexpectedly out here. SL TFTC Zytheran
The things you come across when you're geocaching! Lived down the creek from here when we were kids and I never knew this was here!

Found on a caching run on a hot day. Nice quick find with a history lesson too! Didn't get the free drink we'd been hoping for though.
Easy find when you are on the right side!! Geokid was on fire today, found it easily. Have lived close by for years and never knew this was here.

Found with 2011*turtle. Left animal rubber bands. We grew up this area but did not know of this place. TFTC
How to make a simple cache hard? Convince yourself you need to cross the creek, when you don't.
An easy find once on the right side.

Dropped off the Gumnuts trackable bug. There are so many gum nuts on the ground here, be sure to take one with you if you grab the bug!
Thanks for bringing us to this interesting spot. I have heard of the name before - mostly from driving past the nearby named street, but did not know of the history around here. It was a lovely little walk on a nice morning. TFTC
Difficult find at night. Lucky I brought the flash light. Nice cache location. TFTC!
Looked for this one when I didn't have my nuvi, using my car GPS...didn't even have the hint so that wasn't much help! But today with a good GPS it was a pretty quick find. My 50th cache. TFTC
I had to drop off at the shops and thought a cache wouldn't go astray either. I haven't had an excuse to duck down here before, so it all came good.
As per the description, it was fairly easy. Like the Grannie's plants ref too.
What a cool spot! Another great location that would never be known but for geocaching.

Quick find. My Grandparents grew up at the end of James St when the land was an Orange Orchard. TFTC Zytheran
On the way home after a sports night in Newton, I decided to try and find a couple of caches to dull the pain from the earlier result. Luck was finally on my side (where were you earlier?) as the rain had just stopped. The description made the cache look like ‘low hanging fruit’, but in the dark it still took me a little while to figure out how to access the area. Once on the right track, the generously sized container was quickly retrieved and I made it back to the car just before the next shower hit.
Very quick and easy find, gz was way off, nearly had me on someone's front lawn. TFTC
We parked the car and went for a pleasant stroll to gz where the cache was found in the first place that Diane looked. It's good to see these little pockets of land that are put aside for public use
Thanks Zytheran for the cache

There were a couple of guys loitering behind the tanks when we arrived!!
When we arrived they left and we were able to hunt in private.
Wonder if they were there for the same thing - but it did not look like it. TFTC

Enjoyed the stroll towards the cache which was found by Ms Bushies2...the logbook is new and dry. Thanks Zytheran.
In dire need of replacement, all contents wet and muddy! have placed replacement log in eclipse container inside original cache.
Like the previous finders this poor old cache was very wet inside and the log was unusable. I hot footed it back to the car and made up a new log sheet and put it in a new zip lock bag. Providing future finders seal the bag this should at least mean folks can sign the log. An interesting spot. Would be interesting to have an analysis done of the water from this tap!! Thanks Zytheran for the hide!
Found this afternoon with e.gregory1. As mentioned in his log, container and contents were wet. TFTC.
Found this afternoon with EsromL. Unfortunately cache contained about 1 litre of water (Amadio's free drink?) along with an assortment of slugs and millipedes and contents were soaked. We weren't able to sign the logbook as it is unusable at the moment. Thanks anyway for the hide.
Enjoyed walk toward the cache.
Its still good condition..
Thanks for an easy find and cache

#487 Out picking up a couple of caches with the geograndkids. Surprising what you find in the way of local history - very interesting. GPS had me a fair way away from GZ but it was soon found by geograndson #2. Thanks Zytheran.
Found on an evening of caching adventures with Bek-theracoon and the duffman. Cache ya later
Found on a caching adventure with The Duffman and Alex-thesquirrel. Thanks Zytheran
The largest cache we've found so far, thanks Zytheran. Don't worry, we'll be doing your more challenging ones soon enough! T Emily Angel, L silver star. In addition we found and took a "Froghoppin" coin called "RIBBET2" (and left a gold belt buckle). Not sure what to do with this as it not listed as a trackable. Will try to find out. TFTC SL

Cache number 3 in Australia for me, found on the 1st day of the new year as this location was close to where my relatives live so convenient for a first day of hunting. Took 2 of my little cousins with me to show them what treasurehunting was all about. After a bit of searching we found the container, logbook was still very damp but logged at 14.00hrs anyway. TFTC!

Soggy books removed and cache in better condition than expected. Can the next few finders leave the cache lid down with the logbook out of the bag but in the box the get un-damp.
Loved the cryptic clue and thought this was going to take some looking.........but he Little Elf literally found it in the VERY FIRST PLACE HE LOOKED! 3 out of 3 for him today!!!
We took the only book not soaked and mouldy, due it its plastic bag - but log is very damp. Whole cache urgently needs maintaining. I have books to put in there but will do so once maintained.
Loved the history!

Very interesting spot, local muggle told us this area was all market gardens years ago and people were lining up for the free spring water, but they stopped the supply, cache and books very damp TN L pathtag TFTC
Snuck in there and met Frog hoppin before it was given some lovin by Zytheran. TFTC
Urgently needs maintenance. Two very mouldy and wet books, log wet, swaps wet. When dried I have fresh books I can leave there.
Couldn't resist attempting this Mammoth Cache. Found the area easily but arrived just after a sudden downpour so everthing was wet, soaked and dripping. Granny would have been pleased at the spectacular Floral Display but where exactly to start the search? Knew it had to be here somewhere but everything I touched dripped or poured on me. Finally, there it is but the cache was very wet inside so poured out the water. A fantastic idea for book swaps but the container really needs replacing to protect the books. As I went back to my car to prepare to find the next cache a neighbourhood muggle on a motorised goffer came past and gave me a long and suspicious stare. She then rode the Goffer into the house I was parked outside and both she and the resident watched my every move so I soon skiddaddled outta there. Left Eiffel Tower, sorry had no books. Thanks for the Great Big Cache.
I just didn't have a container this big or I would have replaced it myself. She's pretty cracked at the moment and this has left it a bit damp
Wow! I don't know how I missed this last time I was here but I do remember busting to use the loo which is never the right frame of mind for finding a cache. Thanks Zytheran.
Wow thats one big cache, didnt have a swap but signed the log and waved to the camera on the roof of one of the neighbours. TFTC
found it a couple of days ago...... sorry for the late log...
Mrs Fluffy and Myself went passed on our way home ... tried the night before but it was too dark.... found it no problem in daylight hours..... the cache was water logged, books are not a good idea unless in waterproof wrapping... We drained it and left a freddo tattoo.... took Ballarat keyring...

A quick find this morning.
Great spot tucked away.
Nice big container, but the contents were a tad damp.
Thanks for a good cache and a bit of history.

Late on a rainy afternoon the planned walk for earlier today turned into an exploration to follow 4th creek down to the Torrens. Along the way we came across a location I knew of but had never made the visit. With no GPSr we used the "Bob" method, quickly locating a geotrail and finding the cache at the wrong end of it.
Cache is WET. We emptied the water out, but given the amount of paper inside it could probably use a better dry out and maybe a more waterproof container.
