Came back to drop off a TB and get the code in the lid to compete the Hobson intersection puzzle cache but it has been muggled, can you please replace it or disable it. Thanks
The orakei basin has not been kind today with 2 DNF's on the trott.#200 still eludes us damn it! Believe this is a muggled cache 6" Mr NZtravellers could not find it.
Out for a walk around the bay. Mr 2.5 decided to bring the treasure box for a find on the way. Unfortunately didn't find it even after a good look on the tree. Maybe we had the wrong spot?
Lovely day for caching, but although we were sure we had the right spot we could not find any cache. Humph! Two misses in a row means time for coffee. Will try another day.
Holy trees batman! Loads of muggles around, but at least you can act like you're just berating in the fresh air whilst awaiting your chance to grab this one.
Found this one without too much trouble during a lovely stroll around the basin. TFTC!
A little easier than expected. Don't need to be a science wiz to figure this one out! Left a gorgeous yellow tracker teddy with dreams of one day exploring mars. Don't let the poor fellow down. TFTC!
Nice quick easy find while out for a walk after night shift. Great little area. Tftc
Quick easy find. Lots of people about, put a whistle in the cache and took a cat
I tried to grab this one on my way to work the other day but I didn't have the time so today I came back after work. Today was a gorgeous summer day with blue skies and the perfect temperature. There was a bunch of remote controlled sailboats nearby and a few dogs playing chase. This is the perfect spot to hide a cache. Thanks so much for bringing me here! I took a travel bug and will drop it in a cache in Rotorua next week.
Found it after a very pleasant walk after work. Heaps of Muggles though, and log was full. Put in replacement, so signing not problem for near future...cheers V.
Enjoyed a nice walk to GZ including watching some poor soul flip his small yacht. Cache was pretty exposed so we hid it better than we found it. Nice to see fellow Waikato cacher 11hpg11 on our way back to the car heading toward GZ.TFTC
Bought the muggle parents for a walk and bumped into iammrwalker on the way to this one
Our first find of the day, walking around the Orakei Basin and introducing a muggle friend to the game.
This cache proved no difficulties, and we continued along the track. TFTC

Fun but easy find, found it only using google maps . Scenic area, very public.
This was an easy find - but presented some challenges in terms of avoiding muggles - even on a working day - and in terms of being tall enough with long enough arms. But I had a convenient tall person with me (my beloved) and it worked like a charm. So, TFTC
Headed over to GZ after work this evening hoping for a quick find. I always enjoy a walk around the basin and tonight the tide was in and the sun was setting. As always, heaps of muggles to contend with, but after waiting closeby for a break in the traffic, i headed on in to find the cache. Tonight the cache was quickly found after a DNF back in April. The cache was definitely not here back then when i tried to find it last time!! Theres been alot of work done to the tree and new plantings so it could have been possible that a gardener had removed it briefly and then brought it back. Signed log, uplifted TBs and rehid back in the same spot. TFTC!
I visited him because I needed the bearing of your mystery cache.
I found him quite easy.
Thank you very much

Quick rather squelchy find while doing the wherigo. Dropped geocoin fit someone else to move on. TFTC!
Good easy find and a chance to place Daffy Duck trackable, 39CXJA taken from Rydal and Grasmere View in the UK Lake District. I thought long about taking Daffy Duck 4 so far from his stated objective of staying in Holland but then thought he would get a buzz from being in a country discovered by countryman Abel Tasman in 1642. Tasman lost 4 men in a skirmish with indigenous Maori and sailed on without landing and NZ remained unvisited by Europeans for over 120 years until Captain James Cook arrived in 1769. So with a bit more good fortune New Zealand could have been Dutch and Daffy Duck 4 would be feeling right at home. Good luck for his return journey.
Dad figured he knew where it was on the approach - sure enough, he was right!
A lot of muggles around today, but managed to grab the cache unseen - what a great place for a walk.

Had a bit of time to kill before meeting up with mike-miss for a few caches and took the chance to swing by here. With the rain around it was all pretty quiet and the cache was soon in hand. Grabbed the resident GC before heading off. TFTC
Found with Ric while walking round basin .... Pretty easy with clue ! Could have done with someone a bit taller than us !
Lots and lots of four legged muggles around (as well as their two legged owners). At first had the fear that the cache might have been hidden in one of the sawed friends but it was not.
Found quickly since there were not that many other hiding spots left but heaps of saw dust.
Visited while being on the Wherigo round. Left a GC. Cheers.

Thanks for replacing. Was here a while back when the cache was MIA so a nice quick easy find today. TFTC.
Ahh... it is still there... My guess is that it was taken and put back.. Likely kids... All good..
Enjoy..

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We found this while completing the nearby Wherigo this afternoon. Found the cache quickly in the likely hiding place. We didn't realise that the cache had been archived till now, but it is still there and is in good condition, except for the log book which is missing a few pages. Thanks for the cache!

Buggar... Will have to replace.. Another position is called for until kids get sick of the game....!

Seems as if this one's gone again. Coordinates led me to a very likely spot and I had a good dig around but it the nest is empty. Found a small loose piece of paper with the GC code on it so knew i was looking in the right spot. It would seem that kids have found and taken the cache. Ill keep it on my watchlist and come back another time.
Found it quite easily this time, as there were no bees in residence. It looks like some muggle kids may have found it too, as the log book was full of nasty abusive words that I removed. Pity.
Found it with Mswazzer while visiting a local resident who was our tour guide during our NZ part of our AU-NZ trip from the USA. Nice location, but we didn't have time to do any more in the area, the fish and chips were waiting! TFTH
The last cache for us today and a lovely evening for it. Initially Aga was convinced it wasn't there but after looking at a different angle he spotted it. We sat on the shore and signed the log- nice [re]fresh[ed] cache and notebook. Dropped geocoin and stocked it up with swag to trade. TFTC!!
Found the replaced cache under the cover of darkness this evening although I did hear a muggle walking past on the path as I was logging it. Thanks for replacing the cache!
XC and TK out and about to replace muggled caches... This one was definitely gone.. Replaced with another in a TK camo bag... I have tucked it further out of sight. Please ensure it is well hidden when you replace it...
Enjoy the area while there are no bumble bees about...

Will disable this until I check it out... Seems the bumble bees have taken over my hide...!

I'm pretty sure I was at the correct place, as the hint lead me to the only spot along the path that fitted the description. After a bit of a dig around, I discovered that the suggested hiding place has been commandeered by a hive of small black and yellow bumblebees. So any future cache hunters be warned, they don't take kindly to being disturbed. I didn't find the cache either, I suggest that the co check it out it might be gone, and watch out for the bees.
Failed to find this despite searching in what I was confident was the correct location based on the hint. On the plus side I did some entertainment from fish jumping up out of the water in the basin every now and then! Will have to return another day.
Came here with the main purpose of gathering a clue for another cache but enjoyed this one on its own merits. Parked up the top and walked down the steep walkway, on the way passing the cute Auckland dog shaped dog poo bins. Cache was an easy find then we sat down and figured out where the puzzle cache would be. It would be very pleasant to live near here. TFTC.
Went for an early morning walk - must have counted about eight different bird species, many of which were very tame. TFTC, safe and sound.
Lovely morning to take a stroll to the cache. A very nice setting, busy area this time of the day but managed to retrieve & return the cache fine. Dropped tb. Thanks so much for bringing me here
Nice easy find on a beautiful sunny afternoon! Pathway to the cache location is wheelchair friendly!! TB not in it. TFTC
Was making my way around Auckland today cleaning up a few caches as I managed to get another weekend stay over in Auckland.
After finding GC3AHTJ - My Street, My Cache (Auckland), it was time to drive down to the Orakei to pick up a few caches. Was quite surprise that it really didnt take too long for me to drive to GZ as I thought that the roads would have being a lot busier but it was a bit quiet, this may be due it being a Sunday.
After arriving near GZ, I managed to find a car park not too far from GZ and then it was a short walk over to GZ, what an interesting spot for a cache with nice views at GZ of the Orakei Basin, was a great day to be there today as the weather was fine and the Basin was flat, just can imagine what it is like when the weather cuts up really bad.
Arriving at GZ it didnt take too long to find the cache in the first spot that looked, was quite surprise that it didnt take too long to find the cache considering the hint as there was a few options but the co-ordinates were very accurate so it was a very easy find in the end. Thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot and placing this cache here, TFTC TNLNSL (4785), now it is time to move on to the next cache in the area.

Many walkers with dogs here today so hid behind the weeper and reached in. While signing a 4 legged 'investigator' visited - oh where's its 2 legged companion? Quickly replaced before being seen - found its camo to be bit tight but got there, covered up. Beautiful area - tftc
Pretty quiet here at 3.30 pm. The location was spotted quite early after interpreting the clue. Wow, what a lot of tradable items, shame I didn't bring anything to trade. It's so full I had trouble getting the lid back on . Very cool camo. Thanks for the cache.
More muggles than Queen St on a Saturday night, but with a little caution an easy find.
Good camouflage, found a trackable with mistermilne who is taking it to queenstown!
Easy find, nicely hidden away from the dog walking muggles.
Picked up a trackable "pirate booty" which has not yet been logged by mattchatt

Once meant to do this one, but ran out of time to make it all the way to the GZ.
After work today was then the perfect occasion. I headed off, and made the quick stop, and short stroll over to the GZ.
Oh my gosh, I saw the most adorable chocolate lab puppy in the world!! And there were a lot of dogs around actually. Despite the time! (The sun was just setting...)
So, I walked over to the GZ, in which I was luckily slightly out of the way, as well as there appeared to be a bit of a gap in the passers by.
Was proud then to be able to spot the cache instantly... wel it's hiding spot anyways, even without the hint! A good fitting spot for a cache definitely though! And so tranquil, despite being quite busy!
I want a dog now...
TFTC!!

I didn't actually plan to do that cache, but as I was strolling around the lake, I found a little icon on my Oregon and I just couldn't resist looking for that one.
Didn't really understand the hint, my dictionary couldn't help me either what a weeper was. But after turning to my cacher instinct, it was an easy one to find
I like finding big boxes like these!
Thanks for this cache!

Pleasent lunchtime stroll around the basin, and a couple of caches to boot, TFTC
I like this park. Thanks for bringing me back here. It's hard to imagine the energy behind the explosion that left this crater.
I picked up a TB4FG20 from the cache. I'll see if I can move it to North Shore this weekend.
Cache is in good condition with heaps of quality swag. TFTC!

Great cache; clever clue. Found quickly. Great meeting up with Pete the Navigator here (who was on an afternoon stroll, but who realised what we were doing!) We have only once before met a fellow geocacher! Swopped TBs. SL TFTC
A lovely walk around the basin while watching the skiers in action. Found the cache ok, but had trouble retrieving due to my normal height. Got there eventually and signed the log. TFTC
