I worked out the final coordinates quite a while ago, but did not have time ( or daylight) to visit the cache. Today, I thought this might be do-able between work and a zoom meeting, but from my car to the cache might have been short, but included a creek crossing, a barbed wire and some stuffing around at GZ. The views were nice though, and I had time to observe a spider wasp. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

Collected the numbers, did the maths and headed off to GZ; halfway there, getting concerned we'd misunderstood the instructions, we calculated another set, but they were very (perhaps Dam) close to the first, so we forged on and found the cache at the first GZ we'd worked out. A lovely reason for a walk. Thanks for the cache mrpieman
A fun puzzle to resolve with caching colleagues. That also required a bit of assistance with the April / November bit in particular - go figure! Sadly, we had not looked at the hint which would have helped - LOL! Yep! pretty obvious now but really appreciated the assistance. Must have been the hot winter sun or...
Anyways, a lovely walk to GZ with good views, going the short way AND not getting our feet wet. Man, now for a pie - it's lunchtime. TFTC mrpieman.

Great to finally solve this one with caching buddies - I was a passenger here as I couldn't resolve by myself but happy to go for a short walk and make the find.
Thanks, mrpieman!

On a quiet caching drive today with Aquilus1, picking up a few oldies, a few virtuals, wherigo's and others. Thanks for placing
Out with GreyHams on a lovely sunny day for an enjoyable afternoon of caching. A loop starting with a few northside caches and out towards Sutton. A good variety of locations and types, ending the day with a couple of nice virtuals and the most spectacular sunset on the drive home. Many thanks for your cache mrpieman!
Have been looking at this cache for many years and meaning to come do it, pleased to have the assistance of GreyHams today who quickly calculater GZ. Nice walk in the sunshine that soon had the jumper off! Pleased to finally have this nice older cache found.

At long last the sun is shining and the sky is blue. Today it was another multi and lab for me so I chose to do your cache mrpieman. I was a little warm by the time I arrived at GZ, and Sam(sung) took me in circles for a while but then the light dawned.
All is in good condition and the log now carries my name. Thanks for bringing me to another spot in Canberra that I didn't know existed. TNLN SL

Spotted this cache when doing the 2 on Gungahlin Pond on the weekend,so after finishing work in Palmerston today I headed over for a look.
Parked near a friends house which left about a 200m walk to WP.
Gathered the info and worked out coordinates. Was a bit iffy about my Easterlys but gave it a shot. Happy to say that I got it right and didn’t have to redo any sums. Container located spot on coords and in good condition. Thanks mrpieman for preparing this multi.

Needed a multi for today and have had my eye on this one for awhile. Fabulous sunny spring day and wonderful to be out and about.

I had worked out GZ a pretty long time ago (before I started to check my calendar day finds), luckily way back then the cache was missing, but I noticed it was now back and so needing a find today I made the walk down to GZ to find the cache quickly and all safe and sound, in good condition. Tftc mrpieman!!!
This was a 2 day effort, considering I had to recheck my calculations. Came back today and soon had cache in hand despite the very camouflaged locations ?? TFLC.
I came this way yesterday and gathered the info from the bent and jaded Warsaw native. I had no trouble with the south, but wasn't sure on the east. I went to my calculated GZ, but with the rain and cold I didn't search for very long but did find a scorpion under a rock. Today I spoke with a previous finder who pointed out that I'd made an error in the easting. With the new co-ords I returned. Saw a couple of mobs of kangaroos and a rabbit on the walk and once at GZ soon had CIH. Log stamped - first visitor for this year - and all replaced and went to try a nearby cache. TFTC.
Came out to Percival Hill with the geoson for a walk today. This was the last one we tried for. The sun had set and it was getting dark. Got the coords, did the calculation and headed off, thankfully in the direction of the car on the other side of the hill. Walked through a large mob of roos en route. Sadly, darkness had fallen by the time we reached GZ and the light of my phone wasn't enough to help me locate the cache. It'll have to wait for another time.
Thanks for the replacement and new log mrpieman!
We went back today and happy to claim a 'first to sign' in the new logbook!

Found the Clue, came home to do the math and then set out on the hill.
Found the cache easily, but it is completely waterlogged with holes, so we couldnt sign the log as it was too wet.

Took a few minutes to get it right, but had a healthy set of coordinates before heading off. Didn't time journey but made a decent pace towards GZ. Plenty of roos about, not too scared of people approaching them.
Found the cache without issue, other than the cracked lid and it being full of water. Emptied and dried the log as best I could (effectively nothing), still able to sign it, just. Replaced it on top of the container, still under camouflage, hopefully it can dry out a bit. TNLNSL TFTC

Happy to have ambled up and collected this cache finally. I haven't been up here for a while, and particularly this path that the cache came off from. Very happy to have finally collected this one

I must have got the coordinates wrong last time, because I'm sure the spot we went to this time was different.

Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it mrpieman.
Found together with the family. First Waypoint was identified but the little field puzzle I only solved correctly with the help of Australian raised Wilma. We don't have that way of learning this in school so it stumped me.
Cache found in poor condition as the container is cracked and the log drenched see picture.
Thank you mrpieman for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

I solved this one months ago, at the time I looked at the imposing hill and thought better of it (maybe it was hot?). I realised I'd neglected Percival Hill for some time so today I went up to get what I could.
Thought I'd have to approach from the northern side until I found a place to navigate the creek. Once at GZ geosenses helped more than the GPS did.
I found the container upside down with a small hole in the lid. Everything is wet and mould is growing, I just managed to scratch my name into the log.

Worked this one out months ago, but was finally back in the vicinity so decided to go and check out gz. Really lovely view and good hide but log was thoroughly soaked. Tftc
We did actually find this one fun and I liked the easy cryptic puzzle. I'm giving this a favourite tick. The lid of the cache has a hole in it and needs a CO visit. TFTC mrpieman.
A cache that gave us no problems and we soon had the CIH. A favourite tick from me too. TFTC mrpieman.
This one took some searching. It was a fine view. Cache still going strong after 11 years. Thanks
#2339 A lovely warm lunchtime adventure. No trouble at WP1 and I made vary careful calculations before heading off to gz. No magpies made me feel unwelcome, but it is now the season, so I was vigilant.
There were plenty of hiding spots to check at gz. It took a good 10 mins to locate. It was great to make the discovery of this old cache. I note this cache is over 10yo now. A fine old cache. The lid is broken, but by storing it upside down seems to be keeping dry.

After finding the cache up the hill, I decided to see if I could do this Multi as last time I was here I ran out of time to try it. I got the information needed and did some calculations. I soon was off and at GZ I couldn't pick the correct hiding spot and so it's a DNF from me but now I do understand the cache name thanks to looking around the area.
On a multi hunt with TikvaNZ this fine afternoon and we decided to have a look at this one - not sure if we would head to GZ or not give how warm it was. Stopped by the posted coordinates and after a bit of back and forth, had some viable coordinates. Since they were not at the top of the hill (and only three cache distances), we decided to head up the path.
Most of the walk was in the flat but with one cache distance to go, decided to veer up the hill. We search around at the calculated Coords unsuccessfully until TNZ recalculated a number slightly differently, and he had the cache in hand shortly after that! It is cracked and full of bugs, which we emptied out, but no doubt they will find their way in again.
Nice view and all around nice multi. Thanks for the exercise!

Out with AngelG27 on another after work multi caching mission. After another nearby find, we thought we'd at least start this one, despite the heat. After obtaining the info and doing the calculations we decided it was doable despite the heat. Initially at GZ we couldn't find the cache and were puzzled by the hint. Then the penny dropped, GZ was adjusted slightly and the cache soon found - along with lots of wildlife. (The lid is damaged). TFTC.

#1054. 79 days in a row.
After spending the day looking after kids, I needed a bit of a break to clear my head. This cache wasn't too far out of the way, so I headed over to it. Quickly gathered the required info and calculated the coordinates for GZ, then headed over. It took me about 10 minutes to walk over to GZ, then I had to figure out which was the best way to approach it.
The lid of the container was cracked, so the previous finder had placed it upside down. I returned it in the same orientation.

Found a parking spot close by and got to the initial location to gather the required info. A bit confused by the cryptic bit and didn't read the formula correctly, so went to the wrong spot first. Had more of a think and came up with another solution, so headed off to that one (a lot further away). After disturbing some kangaroos, found the cache reasonably close to my calculations.
A nice little spot and a good walk (although the grass is growing over the track).
Thanks,

Thanks,
Started gathering info for this one several years ago but not surprisingly, we managed to lose it! Finally got around to collecting the required information a few weeks ago for an easy, well-placed find today. TFTC.
Kept the wet stuff to the right and ended up on the wrong side of a river. Managed to get over it and up a hill to GZ but couldn't find anything. Checked my calculations and everything was fine, might go back next week and try again.
Worked out the clues to this one a while ago, however there was a magpie guarding its territory on the way, so I was a bit hesitant to go find it.
We were in the area today however, and went to go look for it but my calculations were slightly off.
Figured out the answer along the way however, so made another quick stop to finally find this cache!

Another very long overdue local multi for us so we decided to finally tackle this one this evening. A great little puzzle multi in an area we haven't explored in a long time. Was a beautiful night for a walk with some great views at GZ...which I bet has changed a lot since this cache was placed ! Love these older caches with original logbook and entries. People don't really take the time anymore to write in the logbooks like they use to do they! Didn't record a time for this one, but it does look like a great area to run in.
Container could do with a refresh and it would be sad to see the old logbook damaged by water. Happy to volunteer to replace if needed
Thanks for a fun cache

Got to WP1, did our sums, worked out the cryptic clues. Then off to GZ. Thankfully our new MTBs were up to the task . If only Loki could navigate . We started down outside the fence. Then managed to get over the fence. Then had a tough time pushing the rest of the way to GZ [xx(]. Definitely we were in the 'longer' category. After a tough slog we made it to GZ and soon spotted the cache. Grabbed the geocoin to move along and then to find a better way out!
Thanks mrpieman

TFTC! Beautiful views. I've dropped a coin here so hopefully this cache will get more visitors!
went to the 1st waypoint with DarzeeDi and Koda the geohound and did the calculations. we were soon at the GZ and signing the log. nice cache for a Sunday afternoon yftc mrpieman

I had a day to fill in while I was at a Careflight Trauma course so what better way than to walk around some of the hills in Canberra. Making an early start and with beautiful weather I was very happy with my days achievements. This was one of a few caches I found wandering around the hills.
Gathered all the info for this one and while I scoured the area I grabbed the prize.
Thanks

There is a small hole in the lid of this one - the plastic has cracked and degraded ....
Finally got around to doing this one. I'd collected the coords years ago, then went on hiatus! I rode past today and made a quick find amongst the magpies. The cache lid has a hole in it, but the contents were dry. Grabbed a pink rubber duck TB, dropped off a Colorado keyring TB. TFTC & the view!
Just recording that I dropped Rubber Ducky TB here months ago. Sorry for the delay.
I don't know about a record - I got from the old warrior to GZ in 12 minutes - I'm 18 days short of 70 years old. There was an honour guard (6 Roos) who I caught sleeping at the site. They bounded off in shame. I took a few items out in order to place a TB that I recovered from Bangkok Thailand a few weeks ago. TB is called "Rubber Ducky, you're the One" - it wants to go home to Kentucky USA. I didn't exactly help by bringing him down under. The math wasn't too hard - I used to teach it!
Found as part of a Sunday afternoon caching wander with BatgirlandCo and geo-hound.
I think I surprised everyone, including myself, but getting all of the maths right on this one. Not that hard, but a good result all the same! Nice GZ too, loved the views.

Took a nice dog-friendly wander from the Palmerville Heritage Park to Gungahlin Pond with Doppelfrog on a glorious winters day. We spent a bit of time at the posted co-ordinates making sense of it all. Must have been tired as that actually seemed to take quite some time as we lay sprawled on the ground by the Warsaw native... although that was because I failed to notice there was a hint. Finally with a probable set of final co-ordinates we headed off...or at least I headed off and Doppelfrog went to explore the dam structure some more then caught up with me and made the find lickety-split before I even got there.
#382 - 16:55; Second of two multis and 10 caches overall for the afternoon. Didn't take up the time challenge as I decided to continue on the rounds having logged this one. After reading the last log, I was a little concerned as I sat down to do the calculation some way away from WP1. Did the largetst number mean the bigger writing or the bigger number [?]. Turns out I made the right choice and located GZ after a climb and soon found the cache snug in its hiding place. Signed log, replaced the cache and continued on up the hill. TFTC mrpieman
Found on a small run out this way. This was an interesting one. Spent a bit of time at WP1 gathering the clue. The cryptic clue was quickly solved, then we were off to the cache. A lovely little walk to GZ, will a few steep bits, where it was a nice easy find. Great little view. TFTC mrpieman!
After feeding the furry client who lives adjacent, we decided to tackle this one. The walk was good for one of the team, the other however was sore from playing softball yesterday. Thanks for the views mrpieman and the cache of course.
Completed this quest today and grabbed the cache. I had a go at it on Friday and got my numbers but ended up on the wrong side of the creek. So I called it quits coz it was soooo hot. Came back early this morning with the geohounds, found the right path and grabbed it. Took some great photos too. TFTC mrpieman! Lots of fun for me and the hounds. BTW no Gold Rush Swaggie here (as listed on GCA) so I left a note on the Swaggie site.
We got to WP1 easily and got the required information. Marco did the maths and worked out the new co-ordinates. We followed the GPS and the instructions that told us to keep the wet stuff on our right, but soon enough the GPS wanted us on the other side of the wet stuff - so we are guessing we didn't get our calculations correct...
533. FUN it was. Arrived at WP1 and did the calcs by hand and set off to GZ to spot the hide on my approach. Couldnt believe a cache located "in town" has not been visited for so long. All is in great condition. Set the time piece for the return journey, 6 min 46 secs at a brisk walk. Had I been the hare that i startled, I reckon I could have done it in about 30 secs. TFTC.
Got to WP1 and calculated GZ with no issues at all (iPhone was handy for this). Found cahce, did not time myself but was around about 15 minutes like the description says. Nearby suburb or Crace really is pushing out far.

I tried this one about a year ago with no success. I was clueless regarding the puzzle part of the calculation and thought I could find the cache by wandering a long a line (but failed miserably). I came back today on my bike much more prepared and had the cache in handy fairly promptly. TFTC!
CazBol and I were in the vicinity today meeting up to do some multi's and I suggested that this one would be a good place to have a wander. You'd think I'd have realised that all the rain of the last weeks was bound to make the path to GZ more than a little boggy, soggy and just plain icky!!
Well, I didn't, but it sure had! Luckily, we both had good hiking boots on, and our feet remained rather dry! I was a bit worried that GZ was not where we thought it was, but after a decent wander, we soon had the cache in hand.
Nice views to be had from here, and the walk wasn't too bad either.

Reperio at 1900. Was in the area this evening picking up a few caches and decided it was time to drop by this one. At WP, the numbers were quickly calculated, and went for a bit of a jog to get to GZ. Was a little uncertain about whether I had made a mistake or not, but once I was at GZ, I felt more confident and soon had the cache.

Found this one while out introducing friends to the world of caching. (They loved it!!)
Finally make it today - Beauty view from GZ. Took Geocoin. SL. Thanks mrpieman for his kind to help me the multi (East).... Again thanks.
Was great to finally get out of the house on Sunday afternoon after such a wet weekend. Ginninderra Creek looked more like the Mississippi... well maybe if it ran through Cockington Green... but it was very cool and we wished we'd had li-los to float down to Belco. TFTC mrpieman
Did the preliminary work with geoson about a week ago. managed to get to GZ today to find cache. After recent rain had the "wet stuff" on the left???
Saw a couple of tortoises. At GZ 3 large hares were hanging around, not who was more scared, me or them?

Found today after collecting clue at WP a while ago. For some reason on that day I forgot how to do maths. Once the skill came back to me went merrily to GZ and found straight away. Thanks.
Rode up to waypoint 1 on the electric bike today turned on the gps and found out I was standing right infront of the bent old polish man. Didnt say much to me but gave me the numbers I was after. Did my calculations and thought ok id ring a lifeline just to see if there were correct.

Found by Mary & David at 1225. Took us a little over 20 min, and we got the maths right. Great views, and it won't be long before the new suburb developing below is full of houses. Enjoyed the walk. Our thanks to mrpieman.
Brilliant, most enjoyed. Startled a kangaroo on the way up and it bounded off until a safe distance away and then turned to watch me. On the way back - across the top - I came across a whole mob, counted a dozen and no doubt missed a few. Great views and the dichotomy of natural silence and the sound of distant motor cars. TFTC

Well, after re-checking the calcs (they were right) I decided to borrow Mr TOM TOM from the car to use as a GPSr rather than the TIMEX watch.
Heading towards GZ, I tracked across the hill, rather than straight up (Geohounds had spotted a hare and weren't having a bar of anything else). Stoping to set up Mr TOM TOM I looked around and thought - hang on, that looks out of place. Sure enough, before Mr TOM TOM could even find the necessary satelites I had found the cache.
And only 7 metres from where I was searching yesterday! Great views of the new Crace development, it will be a shame when the view just provides the opportunity to look at rooftops.

I had found WP1 some time ago and decided to head out a bit further for GZ. the location seemed reasonable, calculations were checked several times, but no luck at GZ. Given that the GPSr has been known to be off a little at times (maybe 5 + m of accuracy) I have headed home to re-check everything and will venture out again this evening, hopefully with better luck
I started at the opposite corner of the Golden Pond, and completed the multi first. I then crossed the dam to start.
Had a quick word to the Warsaw native, and headed off on my pat mallone. Can't say I timed the trip, but it was a nice walk.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found WP1 with no trouble and headed off to find GZ. Following the instructions on the sheet we kept the wet stuff to our right and ended up on the wrong side of the creek, so we had to backtrack and easily found our way to GZ. Geohounds loved the walk and it was nice to be able to let them off their leads for a good run. A great view from GZ.
Thanks for the FUN. The description threw us off, and some wayward calculations had us on the wrong side for a while. TFTC
I had some coords I was confident were right but when getting to GZ it didn't seem right. On further thought after getting home I have some better coords I will try another time.
Ok, found WP1, (via the co-ords) as I have no idea what a bent and jaded Warsaw native is. I'm sure someone will tell me one day though, and then laugh at me for not knowing.
Anyway, worked out the next lot of co-ords and headed off to GZ, and although in work shoes, made in just over 9 minutes.
Nice views as usual, lots of roos at that time. Took coin and thanks for another cache.

For some reason I had been avoiding this cache for some time, and it got to the point where it was one of the closest caches to my home co-ordinates, so I decided to do it today on our Gungahlin caching run. We worked out the right co-ordinates first time, and even chose the right way to go, having been familiar with the area [though marcus couldn't remember why] Upon arriving at GZ the cache was found quickly and we took some time to look at the view before returning to the car, it was getting cold.
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.
