Mum told me all about how she remembered going to the swimming pool near here when she was little.
Sure is a nice park, thanks for the cache.

Sadly, this has been muggled too often, so we are archiving it. May try to find a better spot in the future.

Visiting from Australia so walked to Jellie with a friend but it looks like the cache has been muggled as I found the laminated geocache info sheet but no rock or cache. Might need to check in case I missed it but sadly I think it's gone.
[Easy find, in the obvious spot.] No sign of any kind of river stone, unfortunately. It could do with the extra cover. [TFTC, it's a lovely spot.]
Saw some people playing frisbie golf, it looked lots of fun. Had fun playing with the water. Then when Mum had finished doing all the counting it was time to walk to the final and I found the cache!
51. Had lovely walk around park with kn4 and kn2. Bumped into a group twice playing frisbie golf. Found cache, straight forward when following gps (actualy found by kn4 not myself). Although it was [Close to a commemoration plaque.] It was certainly not [Under large river stone.] Made sure mm4 put it back exactly where he found it.
Found this one this evening ,This is my old haunt I went to 2 schools close by and spent a lot of time swimming here aswell... man has it changed,,I must come back for a better look around and in the day light,,cheers
Nice One!!!!!!!! Great long weekend in Christchurch for Super 14, shopping and geocaching. Neat park for cache site. TNLN Thanks
Found during the return from a cycle tour of the city. Probably would have found it quicker if I HADN'T read the clue.
XC down in Chch on business I picked up rental early and had a bit of time to kill so stopped here on way to client.
Easy find in nice quiet park.
Uplifted Dozer TB to move north...
Left calling card.

Yes it was rainign but we still ventured out in amongst our tourist things to do to retrieve a few caches for the day. This was one of them. TFTC.
Thought that this would be simple as it had been found just a couple of days ago. Searched through the grass to both right and left of GZ with no success.
After finding the cache stopped by the pond to watch "boys 'n their RC power-boat toys".

Took some friends along and had a lot of fun trying to locate this cache, but find it we did. Well hidden.
Looking through the log it appears as though I might have been the first one to visit this year.

Nice walk in the park on a pleasant day, went with friends who found their first cache.
Put in the Roadbeast Travel Bug and took hat.

Our first cache, took ages to find, but only because GPS wasn't set properly ! Great hiding place, and nice stroll in picturesque park.
Great spot, had to keep a good look out while retrieving and replacing the cache.Container had some water in it, but notebook in bag still dry. Drained water out and dryed it as best as We could.
Good find and interesting area, got back into the vehicle just before it rained again.

Nice easy find. Great playing fields! T4TC. No swaps. Passing by after visiting the cemetery doing family research.
Found with The A Team from Alex.
The cache wasnt too well hidden and the book was out of the cache. But everything was still OK
Took the Hope Keyring TB and left a Carabina
Replaced it more securely.

Well - what can we say - thanks for our first NEw Zealand cache Found easily on our way out to the Antarctic Centre for a bit of touristy stuff. TN, L: The Hope Keyring, SL. Thanks again for the cache
Easy find, nice walk to the cache. Took travel bug and hello kitty pencil, left bird clip.
Just got home to find last cacher already logged before me.

I think that we need to mark the Pretty Purse TB as missing. To make up for the missing TB, I dropped off a new one. TNSL. Thanks!
My son & I went out this morning & found it. This was our second cache find.
Thanks
Thanks
Went hunting for this one with Scott(3) and William(5) for Fathers Day.
Found nice and easy, TNLN.
We must have left the compass watch out by mistake, ooops! Sorry! Thankyou for picking it up Silage.

Nice quick find and a lovely spot. Found a compas bracelet on the ground near the cache so added it to the cache. Others visited it today also (sorry didn't note your name).
What a great winters day for caching, shame we only had time to do a few. Found this one easy enough, nice location. Didn't notice TB in there but that doesn't mean it isn't, we probably just missed seeing it as we were a bit rushed by the time we got to this one.

Nice spot watching the kids play soccer. +False teeth, - Toyota car key. Thanks.
Found our 1st cache today. Left "Sharpie Lurve Bear" who came from Hamburg, Germany and would like to return... Grabbed a 3-legged pig, which will travel to our next find (who knows where or when).
First find after getting off the plane from Auckland. Nice spot but lots of sports kids around. Could explain why there was very little in the container, couldnt see the travel bug either. Therefore put in toy car, took out nothing.
11:05am, #7 of day 4 of our week in Chch (that's 55 to date). Had to wait a while for a muggle in a car to move on. Once that occurred it was a pretty quick find.
Quick and easy find - and what was to be my last of the day around 2100. It was quite dark by then, and there were no muggles around, just ducks. No exchange made. Cheers Gav [891]
Pretty straight forward find, although did take the long way to get the cache! Second for the day. TNLN.
This was an easy after dark find while out testing the new cachemobile a flash RAV4.

A lovely spot, would have liked to linger, but the cool rain kept us moving. Missed the TB listed, looks like it's not been logged out. Cache was quite damp inside - dried out best we could, and removed a rusty ball bearing type marble. T4TC
Replaced the container with a snap lock to keep it waterproof. Thanks for the note about the water.
A quick detour on the way home from work.
There's quite a bit of water in the container.
TNLN - Thanks.

Visited today with 3 kids new to caching
They chose the bookcrossing riddle book and tortured us with kids jokes all the way to our next cache stop.
Left a jigsaw which might look familiar if you do the cache set by these kids today. We have called it "Doo you know what giraffe-ter?"

Bother looks like this has been muggled. I will replace it later today and keep my fingers crossed. Will notify tb owner.
A new cache is in place. Have searched the area for the old one, but no sign, so no travel bug either. Sorry. Have added another clue, but the coordinates are the same.
Cheers

Gave this a good 20 mins, got down and dirty, then checked the less obvious places, widened the search into the shrubbery all to no avail.
Little trouble finding it , seems popular with a nearby school ? But no sign of the TB that was meant to be there ?
Left a 7/11 Snoopy clip from Hong Kong.
An easy cache to visit between flights - quite close to CHC airport.

Took the nephew on his first cache. He kind of found the cache. He was in the right spot but missed it.

A small group of us stopped by, and swapped Pretty Purse TB for Moneydork's Keys #1 TB.
Struck gold again! Easy find. Dropped off Moneydork's Key #1 TB. + pinkey badge. Gee, it's just gone quiet now at 1pm because all the kids have gone back to their classes.
GPS put me askew for a couple of minutes, then it changed it's mind and was spot on. Was I the third visitor today? Like McPossum I also attended the school across the road for a couple of excellent years ('though it was a while ago). No swaps. Cheers.
My first NZ cache for almost a year (I've been overseas), but made up for it with 10 others today.
I too went to high school here, a few years ago.
Grabbed The Braves TB to move on...

Popped over during study (I go to the school over the road)..
Didn't have the GPS though, so was basically going on the clue. Took a few circuits but the cache was found. A park I walk through often, nice to have a cache so close! Might pop back later and drop off a TB as the container's a decent size.
TNLN, thanks a lot.

1056. We were on our way home from a short caching trip and stopped to pick up this one as our final cache for the day.
Once upon a time we were going to hide a cache right here! Hope it lasts when the school pupils are around!
+ bootlaces - keyring
Thanks

Struck gold after having the same wander as Ridders76. Must be something interfering with the signal, but we did get a great GZ reading after a little walk. We were trying to be FTF so got up early, but it was a great little pre-breakfast (and pre-school for Claw) stroll among the joggers. - green ball, plus orange hightlighter. TFTC. Linleye.
Early morning walk in the park with Linleye. Found it, no problems, and Mum is impressed with my muddy school trousers before school! TFTC. Claw of the forest.
I think the satellites must not have been on your side early this morning - by mid-morning my ancient and delapidated GPS aimed straight and true for GZ, within 2m. An easy find after that.
No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf.
No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf.
Popped out in the evening for a FTF. Success was had the cache site with only dog muggles to avoid. Had a stroll about the general area as the GPSr wandered about in a large circle before settling on GZ. + canada coin keyring, - compass keyring
