Nobody likes a DNF but what made this one particularly bitter for me was the amount of disrespect shown for what should be a beautiful lookout. Visitors have used and abused this area like I've never seen before, on the way along the track I passed several examples of people using the place for their own bush toilet! Ok sometimes you have to go but at least move in to the bushes 50 metres or so. As if this wasn't enough a lack of bins in such a tourist attraction (but typical for a NPWS) has meant many have left their rubbish behind add to this the fluro orange and green paint all over the rocky landmarks freshly done and you have a disgrace [:(!] Truly I was not happy. I am quite sure I checked the right spots as I rang 2 x friends that have found it, both confirmed my suspicions but one will check it out for himself. If I'm right then a coin has gone MIA to. It should have been a pretty if not short stroll in unfortunately it was anything but.
Even though we didn’t find the cache, the whole experience was well worth it! Fantastic views serenaded by Noisy Friarbird’s in the nearby trees and Cockie screeches echoing from far below. We’ll be back! TFTH homedg!
Had a real good look in every log, hole, stump within 20 metres of ground zero. No luck with this cache. Nice view as consolation I suppose. TFTH
went out to see a lady about a dog or tow today and as we were just up the road we droped by to get one more homedg cache knocked off the list.

Muggles, muggles, go away
I want to find the cache today....
Had two goes at this today. Turned up to an empty carpark, got withing 1-2 metres of caches according to GPS, couldn't find it. A few elderly muggles arrived, so I went and explored some of the other tracks nearby. Beautiful spot, even in the rain.
Went back after the visitors had left, again got to nominated co-ords, couldn't spot the cache. Spent twenty minutes looking in and around the area, no joy. More folks turned up, so I left.
I'll be back.....

Found this one just before the muggles turned up twenty or so.took geo coin replaced with another.Have been looking at this one for a while had time today. thanks heaps
After three trips I found this one. I am the only DNF in the history of this cache - they don't call me C. Nyal for nothing! I'm going to blame my GPS - nearly everyone else does, so who am I to differ? Anyway, with a bit of help from homedg, who runs a personal helpline just for me, I managed to snavel it today. TNLN except took a Geocoin and dropped one off as well. Thanks for everything homedg.
Dropped in to check on this one. It hadn't been found for a while and I was curious if it had survived this sometimes muggle intensive area.
All was in order.
I left a coin for the next finder (I wonder who that might be CNDY)
Happy Caching

Had a long search but could not locate it. Based on the additional hints I am pretty sure that I found the right spot, but the cupboard was bare. I looked in every similar place in the area with no result. The primary site that I found had an impression that looked like a cache had at some time been sitting there. Anyway it's worth checking out - I note that it has not been found for some months. It's a great spot.
First Cache for the day @ 1:20pm
Fantastic views and much enjoyed, found cache in clear view with the lid off, not damp at all so i put it all back together and covered it a tiny bit just so it didn't stand out so much.

Found this one today, was in the area so I thought I'd stop by.
When I got to the carpark there was a police car investigating a very recent burnt out Mini Cooper left in the middle.
That aside a peaceful cache in a lovely location, easy find and quite a few minutes spent admiring the view.
TNLN as my small swap was still too big.

Arrived here late in the afternoon of a quiet weekday and were very pleased to see an empty car park. Wandered over to the lookout and quickly did the cache thing whilst we had the place to ourselves. Once that was out of the way we were able to take in the outstanding views at our leisure. A very nice spot indeed. Did no swaps.
My 2nd cache, lovely view and gorge. Now I am not muggle as I have joined geocache. Thanks to Everlasting and Sevabo
I am looking forward to 3rd, 4th and following up!

Sorry being a new cacher I had a problem logging my TB - so here it is hope Wodona enjoys the view, but needs retrieving soon as it is pretty cramped in there.
Great spot ..great views
Found quickly between muggles.
TB is definately in the cache although, does not show on this inventory page..
Sorry, took whistle , and left nothing as i scrambled to replace the cache between leaving and arriving hordes of muggles.
Cache container is chock o block with the TB!
Decided to leave the TB as i wont be going to any places of natural beauty in the next week or so!
Thanks for bringing us here.

Had been here before wth my siser - Froggy 346 so let my husband find this one. Great view - dropped off TB "Wondona Travels" - took nothing.
Jumbuck and I arrived just before sunset...not a good thing! Waited for all the muggles to depart, getting cold, getting dark as we knew where it would be...
Supernay brought me here in August of last year. She used to come here and contemplate 'stuff'. We discussed putting a cache here, but after eight months of discussing, someone has finally put one here [:p]. Found without too much trouble and once again we enjoyed the view.
found it awsome spot just 10km from home thats cool never thought that would be there...
thanks maty061

Last find of the day, and lovely area, but lots of muggle activity, so we had to wait a while. Did not have a swap small enough to fit in the cache, so just signed the log right on sunset.
Nice easy find,Wow what a view,I didn't think we were up that high, thanks for leading us to such a beautifull spot.
TNLNSL Thanks again,
Geordy.

Geordy.
This was our first visit to this spot and we were not sure what to expect.
Just a short walk from the car park we found a cache with amazing views. After taking care of the caching business we stopped for a while to enjoy the beautiful weather and gaze at the river below.
Took Nothing,
Left a bushwalkers emergency whistle.

7:10pm Been here on the odd occasion for lunch because it's only about 15 minutes from work.
I had thoughts about putting a cache out here at one point but never got around to it, so good on you for doing it. Maybe you should add it as the next in the Nepean River series! (Nepean Belles and Mulberry Memories being #1 and #2).
There was not a soul out here tonight, so it was pretty easy to nab. Not a good place to crawl around in the dark though.
TNLN. Thanks homedg for a great hide.

We pulled into the carpark, where we have been many a time before and could not believe how many cars were parked here! There had to be 15 or more cars. The lookout was full, so, we retired to the overhang to await their departure.
Once the silence arrived, we emerged and had it in an instant.
Swapped a led frog for a bead bangle making kit.
Nice spot.
Cheers

After driving down the dusty trail we left the vehicle behind and set off on foot in the morning light down the winding track. While standing upon the rock we gazed down into the depths of the gorge and took in the glass like waters. The waters glass-like surface soon vanished as a group of paddlers passed underneath our vantage point. Walking back to the car we spotted a Pacific Baza perched in a tree which caused great joy and merriment as they are extremely rare in this area.
This is a great cache, nice little walk, quiet location, fantastic lookout just an all round great cache.
Thanks Homedg

What a great spot. Plenty of muggles on a weekend. Managed to outwait them. Never knew this spot was here. Damn I forgot my camera so I will have to return. No TB was there so someone must have taken it and not logged it. Thanks a lot.
Whooo! this has been a busy cache since I was here on Friday. Like a previous finder said and it rings true for me - I was going to place a cache here called 'Alcatraz' named after the lookout but as usual I was beatin to the placing. never mind, now its a find for me. TNLN - but picked up the coin.
Thanks for bringing me back here.
Thanks for bringing me back here.
2nd cache for the day. Found this cache easily and in good order. Brilliant spot, we actually visited this spot 2 months ago and were so taken by it we were considering it for a cache or our own. A nice picnic spot if you have the time! TNLN. Thanks homedg!
