Found as it was still on my GPS, log is wet but that is already known, just needs a dry log book and new plastic bag : ) so if they filled it is it still there under all that dirt ? it would be good to see it unearthed so we of this century could enjoy seeing some of our past. TFTC
Thanks. Holes in container means that log book is saturated. Suggest new container attachment method.
Found this immediately - the God's must be on our side... The log & cache are completely soaked though, the container looks worn, it needs replacing.
This is a really spooky & cool place though - no sacrifices today...

Searched for a long time. Our coordinates were all over the place. Even got muggle hubby to help. No luck. Left with a feeling of frustration.
We first attempted this about 4 years ago. Had more luck today though it was tricky to retrieve the cache. Couldn't see the 'mechanism' others had mentioned though. Log was wet so unable to write on it but took a photo to prove we were there.
Kids had a great time playing with all the leaves.

What a wonderful piece of history. We have driven past numerous times and never known of its existence. Found quickly after a look at the monument and a chat with the kids who thought the story was wonderful. Cach had been muggled but replaced after writing the two young lovebirds names but unfortunately the lid was not clipped so log is all wet. We put back but was very wet. We didn't have a replacement to fix
A fellow cacher tool me on this journey to caching. Now i'm hooked.

This cache was found on Day Two of our Four Day Adelaide Caching Tour, with TriBre, Fairybum, Mastamak, KidzJCT and Running as Teams BosNewellgus and Gummy Dales. Team Gummy Dales joined us late last night, and with all teams in attendance we headed out to the Barossa Valley Area.
Today the attack would be on the Fruit Loop, Five Oh and a whole lot of caches in between! I know we drove through the Barossa and we elected to stop for lunch at one of the wine estates but by the time we can to think about lunch it was way passed 2pm and we had run out of wine estates to stop in on! We did eventually make a stop in Mount Pleasant for Dinner at a great Little Pub, and it was Poker night! We did not stay as there was still smiley's to be found....
With the large volume of finds I have written a generic log. I would like to thank the CO's for creating a Great time out and I can assure you fun was had by all. I believe we will be planning another trip to SA....
This was the 170th find of 188 finds for the day in SA, with 4 DNF's by this time of the day.

Found with TriBre, Mastamak, KidzJCT, FairyBum and Gummy Dales while in Adelaide on a four day geocaching excursion from Brisbane.
Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.
Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.
Found with TriBre and our team BosNewellgus, KidzJCT, Fairy Bum and their team Gummy Dales.
We were down from Brisbane for 4 days of geocaching. TriBre and I flew in yesterday morning and got a good head start on the cache finds. KidzJCT and Fairy Bum flew in late last night. It was up early this morning to continue the smiley hunt.
Today we headed up towards the Barossa and ended up completing power trails Five Oh and Fruit Loop and a heap of individual caches.
We had a heap of fun today driving through this area. Great scenery and a chance to check out a lot of small towns My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here and we didn’t visit one of the many wineries we passed by. We did have a fantastic pub dinner in a small town I didn’t even know the name of.
I hope everyone in SA realise how good they have it here geocaching wise. A geocache almost everywhere you turn. We had a fantastic time while here and no doubt will be back again sometime. A big thank you to all cache owners whose caches we found.
Due to the volume of caches found I have only written a generic log. This should in no way detract from the fun we had in finding each and every cache.

All 4 members of team M-SEZ spent the day caching around areas like Nairne, Mt Torrens and Cudlee Creek. Creeping our way toward 2000 we didn't quite get there today, but we had a great time driving around in the hills.
Our home is surrounded by Zytheran puzzles. The only thing that puzzled us here is the fact that this cache is not a puzzle! A quick find & sign. What an interesting place! TFTC

South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today was the day to move on to Gawler. Just a short drive but we took all day. Wow, this was an old DNF for me and it was so easy this time and not where I was looking those years before. Oh well a find is a find.
Thanks.

Grabbed with Albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

Headed out to try for a FTF and muggle partner agreed to come for a drive (despite having heaps he wanted to do at home).
A few hours later, we had found 11 caches, had a great lunch at Amberlight Cafe at Lobethal and he even stated later that 'it was a relaxing day!'
What an interesting spot!
Love learning how and why places are used and named and remebered as they are!
Clever hide, too. I was just starting to woder how I could retrieve the cache when I noticed 'something' and lo and behold the cache arose from the depths of the hide!

Quick find, guarded faithfully by a army of ants. Great piece of history. SL too eraser left wishing stone TFTC
Very interesting history, pretty spot. Geo kids did a swap or two. Look out for the ants!! TFTC.
Found this cache after a bit of a search, we haven't been out this way for a while. Had to fight the ants off at this one.
Well done thanks to Zytheran.

Definitely not where we expected to find it. After ages of kicking the leaves around we decided to try a different tactic and bingo ! TFTC. We always try and fit a few in on our weekend drives.
Yes lots of leaves, but not where you would think,
We searched forever until our brink,
Then it was found,
Close to the ground.

Out for a drive as its a beautiful day. Decided to hit the hills for a spot of caching.
The cache was out in the open, I hope I've put it back where it belongs

Wow, this place use to catch my eye many a time travelling between Gumeracha and Lobethal.
I went to the church across the road as a teenager, but never knew the name of the church was Salem.
Found the hint a bit confusing as it was exposed, so I hope its where it should be.
Cheers for the memories Zytheran.

May have been muggled as top was off and bugs had made it a home. But quickly moved them on and replaced with care. Tftc
So many leaves to sort through... Ran into some barb wire no harm done but keep eyes open for what one cant see... Kept poking about and eventually Dazz came up with the find... Wonder what the ground looks like underneath...??
Thanks Zytheran for the cache

Found quickly this time unlike last time where we rearranged about a hectare of leaves! TNLNSL TFTC Zytheran!y
Dried out, new logbook and pencil. Problem was caused by hole in tree filling with water so please don't put into hole but at base under the leaves.
EZ find as in it's current location and state it looks like a bit of clandestine rubbish. As this has already been flagged as needing maintenance, I won't mention it again, but the log really is wet, and the outer baggy doesn't aid in cammo much. Hint doesn't help much, but when you get there, it's the most obvious spot.
Didn't realized it at the time, but it's another Zytheran cache off my list!

Easy find in an interesting little park with some interesting history. Like the retrieval assistance line. Couldn't sign log due to the dampness factor. Have photos as proof if required. Thanks for the cache
What a lovely little park. Good hide but the book is wet and the container does not close properly. Thanks for the cache.
Found on a cold and damp afternoon of caching with Gemini 7.
We half expected not to be able to find this one, but located it easily enough. Great to see this cache still here after 6 years, albeit very wet.

Awesome location.
Unfortunately the logbook is soaked.
Managed to log it all the same.

Great find. The cache is in very poor condition though, the log book was soaked. Will check it next time we visit family in town and fix it then.
Nice spot. The beautiful oak trees were covered in golden autumnal leaves. While we rummaged around the leaves for a while, not knowing finding anything, we were kept company by two sweet girls, happily scratching away at their patch. Finally found after a while. Nice hide. Great spot for autumn thermos stop under those wonderful trees.
3943rd total find at around 11:12
I guess there is really some form of irony here.

Saturated log was out of cache to keep dry the replacement temp log provided by previous finder. Could use some owner maintenance please.
I do like the location and story and was glad to come to this little park for a well made but wet cache.

What made this cache special today was the fact that we met a young family starting out caching and they had a find. The look on the 5-6 years old lad's face was priceless as he made the find. I hope they continue. Thanks

Hi Found the cache, it was waterloged and needs attention. We couldn't log our find
As per several previous finders, very wet contents. Maybe the spring has found a way of filling the cache instead of the font?? Sistema containers may not always keep water out, but they can sure keep it in!
Log was totally drenched, but somehow I managed to sign it clearly. As a temporary measure, I found a ziplock bag and a sheet of paper in my bag of bits so topped up the contents. Found with assistance of Steinbos, who's been here before.
