Bad news on this one. We found what we think was the remains of the cache email to follow. Interesting spot though. Amazing how narrow the original road was. Andrew and Maryan.
A bit tricky find, but not as tricky as the traffic.
Did'nt sign the log, no space.

Wow - Great spot for a cache.
Loved the hide - took us a wee while to work it out.

Neat place for a cache, took us a while to find it Moneydork spotted it in the end.

Knew the bridge well enough, but spent 30mins searching the wrong spot, before checking the logs on geophone. Thanks cebidae for correct coords - then it was easy - and a clever cache.
Coords need correcting and the log is almost full.
Good coords are: S27 23.078 E153 01.316.

** Coordinates Changed From **
S 27° 23.081 E 153° 01.333
Distance From Old: 93.7 feet
I have had many complaints that my original coordinates are out.
The original coordinates work very well in MY GPS and take me straight to the cache.
However, as so many other cachers find my original coordinates to be so far out, I have updated the coordinates to those provided by Kulai. Many thanks Kulai for taking the time to obtain the correct coordinates.
I will try and update the log book soon.

I marked my find as "Needs Maintenance" and hence it did not list as one of my finds... Refer to my other entry for info.
Sorry for the confusion (he says in a confused tone).

Yeah, The Marble brought me along to change her luck and sure enough it was in my hot little hands in no time much to the wonderment of the poor marble...
Glad we took along the logs for the right co-ords...
Thanks!

Whenever I see 'micro', I bring along another pair of eyes. Sure enough, dizzyanne spots it almost straight away as I'm still fumbling about with the co-ords. TFTC
Good hide. Back and forth we went, thinking it couldn't be THAT hard. Geokid 1 found it and we all went doh... of course
Found with Rastas. As previously noted (many times) coords need updating. I have S27 23.078 E153 01.316.

It is because of these coords I get paranoid about H&S caches!!! (the rest of them seem ok except I would not know about HARDEST... yup it is an open wound)
Cebidae found this after I looked at the hide location... Well done....

Didn't worry about the GPS after reading a few logs. An interesting spot and a sneaky little hide. Thanks
Found by caughtatwork at sometime this morning.
Not a very good experience at this cache due to the co-ordinates being waaaaaaaay off base.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Sorry hotandsweaty, while the bridge was interesting, the lack of updated co-ordinates very much took the shine off the cache.

This is really pleasant area in such a busy place. Cache was found easily on a pleasant morning on our way to a family BBQ. TFTC
I was glad to have read the logs and got the right coords.
A great place to hide a cache though. SL

Easy find once i searched back through the logs and found the correct coordinates this really needs to be fixed!!
What an amazing place. We arrived here just on dark and gave the place a good going over. Dadda NANKS came up with the goods after quite a search! Our GPS had us in the wrong place altogether!
Thanks to H&S for the hide!

Found quite easily, we were over this side of town to go to some markets so we thought this would be a nice quick one to do. Coordinates off 30m for us also.TFTC.
Was given an early mark from work and didn't need any other excuse to spend a day out caching, however not quite prepared with any swaps. Also some people have been playing mind games and not logging when they pick up TB's went to three today where there should have been one and found it not to be when I arrived.
Was unable to find today. Went before work at 5:30am and there was traffic controllers onsite doing roadworks, at 1pm I returned and they were still there. I think this cache is best done on a weekend or after 5pm when they go home. They have a site office located right near where I believe the cache to be and looked at me strangely when I came close.

This cache was find number 76 of 102 finds today with Rogainer as part our record attempt.

This cache was find number 76 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.
We were here at 17:02 hours.
Read previous logs which saved us destroying the tree and surrounds - coords definately 30m out. Dave made the find after I had already been past the spot!
Recorded our visit then continued our lap of the merry-go-round to head north.

Tried to get this one in the dark last night. We kept blaming the dark for not finding it until we read earlier logs. We had a few run ins with the fig tree too. Co-ords definately off about 30 mtrs. Tried previously logged co-ords and went to it almost right away. By the way this was not the smallest micro we have found. If you are ever in Tassie go find "Railway Roundabout", that'll amaze you!!! Good hide however and an interesting place. Thanks hotandsweaty. Logged visit.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Razza at 11:30AM. The fig tree copped it from us as well. I hadn't read the logs and should have, I know; but it had to be on the bridge. What a brilliant hide and cache. This is the smallest micro I've ever seen and it took some finding. I'm not sure the co-ords were sending me in the right direction but it had to be there somewhere. TFTC hotandsweaty. Brilliant! Bridge over the river why – Found 6:30pm. I know the history of this bridge well, and can remember when this bridge was used by traffic on both Webster AND Hamilton Rds to cross the creek. Hard to believe these days with the amount of traffic using the roads around the cache these days. If anyone wants to know why, drop me a line, and I will explain it. The previous logs were very helpful with finding the cache. I didn’t even bother taking the GPS. A quick search revealed the cache. Signed and off again.

Had a go at this one on the way home yesterday, had good GPS signal, but no luck. Checked through the previous logs and found alternative co-ords. Armed with this new info I went back first thing this morning and went straight to ground zero.

Found after a brief search even though co-ordinates are way off....liked the hide and the cute booklets inside it. Thanks Hot and Sweaty...good to nab one of your caches after a fruitless visit to "the wall" yesterday.
Second person to find this one today.
Used the updated co-ords and found this one in a flash.
Great Hide.
I have always gone past that bridge thinking why?

Well!! Finally completed this. Very good hide hotandsweaty. I have to say that your coordinates are still 30 meters off though. TFTC
Once You read all the clues it's an easy find. But I agree Why??
TFTC very clever.

Finally found it after using dak's revised co-ordinates.A well hiden cache.TFTC.
found it second time round. didn't sign as forgot pen. was right on top of it the other night, but difficult to find at night. was a fun first cache, and i think it helped hook munkigirl!
not able to find it first time at night. will try again later in the week during daylight hours. foudn the yellow arrow too, will be looking for more of them. too many hobbies!
anyone want to give me a clue???
it is less than 300m from my home, so very convenient for a first cache!

Eleventh of twenty-two finds on my first day/night in Brisbane. Like others before me, I searched the fig tree and surrounds to no avail. I settled down to read the logs, and found that HawMorFords had posted alternative coordinates. I used them to get closer to the cache. I have also attached my own coordinates that were recorded at the cache site; they're virtually the same as the HawMorFords coordinates, but they might be useful for people who only have the last five logs. Future finders: the cache is not in the fig tree; it's on the bridge! I can't help wondering how many people have to report that the coordinates are 30m out before the cache owner does something about it. [?] I found it at 1500. It's only a micro cache, so I made no exchange. Thanks to hotandsweaty for the cache.
Hmmm, I need to learn to read the logs before I go. Like others previously, I searched the fig tree and got really frustrated. Came home to read what others had said, plugged the HawMorFords coords into GoogleEarth, just to get a general idea, and sure enough, a long way from where I was searching. A quick trip back and had the blighter in my hot little hands in minutes. Forgot the pencil, so I had to make a trip to the car to fill the logbook in. Not a good day. Clever cache though; numerous school kids walked past whilst I was there (they obviously do every day), and it has gone unnoticed. Very clever hide.
17:00 Last one for the day and probably our favourite. Must admit that this is the first time we have parked on a roundabout...not sure if we were supposed to, but there weren't any no parking signs and it seemed safer than trying to cross from the outside.
After reading the previous logs we decided to forego the GPS and just search the bridge. Ms Mini found it in next to no time. VERY VERY COOL CACHE.[^]

I looked there last time
Must be my failing eyesight (damn koalas), but as it was the only place left I looked a bit closer this time. Great little hide Ah well that's that bridge crossed, now for the next one.

15:00hrs A lot easier to find this one of the daytime and to totally disregard the coordinates Log book is nearly full. TFTC
I agree with If, there's nowhere on the bridge to hide it except just ... hmm... not there. Scratched my head a little & then shortly later Mrs Garner retrieved it from the very spot I'd searched minutes earlier.
BTW: We find a yellow arrow (yellowarrow.net) at the site - hadn't heard of this concept before... quite an interesting concept & somewhat loosely related to geocaching.
I love the history of this area explained in the previous logs.

Found with Geonanna and Grumpy after about 10mins looking. Tricky little one that! Thanks HotandSweaty
Found at 11.40am with THWs. In the 1960s this bridge was part of Hamilton Road and I used to drive my VW over it quite regularly - but that's another story. TFTC.

Heh Heh, nice little fig tree at the coords. Kept me distracted for a while. Decided the bridge was a more likely target though. No luck there either.
I'll be back ! There's nowhere to hide a cache on the bridge So it must be there somewhere.

Got me!. I've a habit of looking for caches before reading any posts. I will learn I'm sure.
Tried for 30 minutes today but no good. Read posts and will go back tomorrow.

Ok, I reckon its time we all chipped in to get Hot & Sweaty a new GPSr, cos the one he is using is crap..... (you do have it set to WGS84??)[:p] With a failed attempt each, I organised with Ruzzelz to meet on the bridge this morning and have another go. It took us both about 5 mins to get it this time, after we completely ignored the GPS. What makes it worse though is that I noticed the spot yesterday, but didnt look hard enough.....
After a bit of a chat I logged my find at 6.40am

After yesterday's failure I organised to attack this one with another frustrated DNFer. I arrived 5 minutes early which was just enough time to locate the cache before VWnuts strolled in.

We were sure we were in the right area but after thoroughly combing the area for half an hour, i reluctantly resorted to giving Wingaap a call.... Our GPSr had us miles away !!! About 30 metres i think !
After getting a clue from Wingy, we had the cache in hand within a minute !
Thanks for the cache.

What a sneeky little cache! The other Critter pointed out "It used to be a road" what a smart little cookie!!! Thank you i was in stitches doing this one!!
Spent 20 minutes searching the fig tree before calling the Wingaap support line. Conversation went :-
OH - Its on the bridge? Why is the waypoint under the fig tree then? Ahh, I see
Started searching the bridge before the rain chased us away. Will return tomorrow for another look.

Ok this is getting embarrassing.......After spending close on 45mins looking for this easy cache, Ted Bear and I have to admit defeat....we looked in every possible spot....except the one spot the cache is hidden. Well it seems I cant get a Hot & Sweaty cache on the first attempt, so I will be back....I've actually passed this spot on over 70 times going to get Wingaap caches and had thought about putting a cache here, but there is a nearby Mountain to Mangroves sign, so I'll put one there instead.
As for the bridge, I reckon it would be the last remains of Hermann Rd, since the road has been renamed. Its interesting to see the local history.
Thanks Hot & Sweaty for getting me to stop here.

Vwnuts, how do you think I feel this cache is less than 1 km from home and no luck for me in the obvious places.
The bridge was the original Hamilton Road Bridge to connect the new suburb of West Chermide with civilisation down to Gympie Rd and the Myer shopping centre. The Outlaws bought a new house in the suburb in the very early 1960's and had to walk to Chermside to catch a tram into town to go to work or to do the shopping.

Location confirmed I set about the search.
Turned up the cache a few minutes later.
Great to see you havent lost your touch H&S
