Elmo sure is in a bad way.
Took him to the playground to try and cheer him up.
He posed to try and look his best.
Thanks.

Great find but elmo looks like he's seen better days! Looks like someone set him on fire. At least fire is red though:)
WOOT! Another find on a glorious day of caching in Ashburton. Not sure why, but Elmo has some bad burns Thank you for the fun!

Visited again to drop off a geocoin for Castle Douglas Primary School in Scotland.

Love this cache! Dropped off travel bug and had my picture taken with Elmo. There we quite a few muggles around! TFTC
Quite a few muggles at this venue today, but all off on their own adventures. Got a pic of Elmo with his new friends. Took Mr Bump.
Easy find on Christmas Day. Dropped off TB. Swapped red ball for red eraser. TFTC.
It was a day to spend in Ashburton picking up a few caches.
What a size this cache is. It is great to see a big cache for a change.
Cheers for the cache.

Liebe Cachebesitzerin, lieber Cachebesitzer!

Dear cacheowner!
In the past I logged my founds together with team_BAFL (I found this cache on 03.12.2011 as my 1342. cache), but I hace my own account at geocaching.com since a few weeks and therefore I log all my past founds for this account. Thanks for your cooperation! At my first attempt there were some problems with the logs, thats why I deleted them.

The Holcomberogues from Devon England found this. We will upload Elmo pics later.
We spent a year living in Stranges Rd 10 years ago and never found this domain, so thank you for steering us to it on this trip.

Found it easy, when we turned up it was in plain view to anyone as last people had not put it back properly. put it back a bit further in. hoo rah!
TFTC. I have always loved this red guy. My son has a Tickle Me Elmo as a treasure from earlier days. Very interesting area that the cache is in, I will be back to spend more time here.
9/21 on caching trip to Chch, loved this one, gave elmo a quick cuddle and gave him a ducky TB to look after until the next visitor comes along (as lots of ducks in the domain), no sign of a camera in the cache, SL TFTC
How cool is this cache?! Quick find in the rain & we let Elmo stretch his legs....and he met up with our wee dudes mates Tigger and Pooh. Thanks for bringing us to this cool wee park.
Family trip to Ashburton so Mama can do the Real Women's Duathlon tomorrow. Time for a couple of cache finds around the town after registration and checking in her bike. Very nice place which we must come back to. Guwapo was somewhat disinterested in Elmo and the cache as was much more interested in going and looking at the 'troublesome trucks' and the train tracks. Left toy red rubbish truck. Maraming Salamat!
No one about, just as well, had to look in all the spots before finding. A really interesting place. TFTC
A few too many people around during the day so came back at dark after we sussed out the clue, cool cache
Had to do a bit of quick thinking to aviod the wedding party having their photos taken. Great place. We will come back when it is working. Elmo was happy to see us.
Another Christmas Day after dinner walk with the extended family. Interesting find for the children. Thanks.
Quick find, Great idea. A little bit of red paint on the ground gave me a clue where to look. TFTC
What a nice park - needed a large container for our caching challenge that bought us down this way and as we have meet Team Chelmo was pleased to make this one of our target caches !!! Hope all is good with Team Chelmo !! Soon found and we contributed a red stretchy key ring and a red and white pirate chain to the haul in Elmos hidey hole signed log thanks for the cache
Needed this large cache for our challange so after picking up a few other required caches we came in to grab this one. Checked all the holes but was unable to locate as lawnmowers were working nearby but they soon left and the cache joined us Signed the log TFTC
Took us a while to find... but we got there in the end. Found an awesome game.... Excuses! Why would anyone give this up ?!?!
Beautiful spring day in Ash-Vegas. First time in this domain. Moderate muggle activity but we managed to stayed invisible. Elmo says Hi. TFTC.

10th and final find for C's 26th birthday drive. Lots of muggles hitting balls around, so had a walk around railway and wade it out... finally the coast was clear and went in for the find.
GeoGSP was not amused with Elmo trying to ride her... and tried to kill him, but no surgery needed.
**Will add photos soon** SL, left something red, TFTC.

Awesome 3rd time lucky on getting this one - been muggled out every other time -found with some friends - TFTC TNLN - good to see elmo in good spirits even tho he's be alone for over a month
The TIKES attempted to kidnap Elmo "coz he's sooo kuuute". Camera is out of pics so we signed log and left Elmo to sleep suffering only from a little red-eye. Mini-tike did manage to collect a bee sting from a bee that no-one saw, at least it wasn't a red-back spider!
A fun log and a photo taken with Elmo with my camera. Yours is full. Really brought smiles to our faces. Thank you.
Quick find while staying at the Camp had to wait for the Tennis players to go home.Left red Company pen, Camera full.TFTC
Definitely, a family favourite! Elmo’s Big Red Cache was a pleasure to find! Each member of team bjtrekker picked one. Geo-mum turned out to be the lucky one! Snowee Sheep TB said hello to Elmo and had plenty of photos taken on our camera with the cuddly red Muppet before saying goodbye and heading off on our journey North. Thanks Team chelmo for the cache.
Where would they hide a 4.25lt container? Camera full so we took our own and uploaded the results. TFTC TNLN
Went to look after "Childrens Day" event and found it. The boy's liked looking through all the items. Left some red mini christmas stockings....
What a cute find... We enjoyed it and would have loved to take a photo, but as mentioned the camera is full. And for the first time for ages we went on a tour without our own camera.
There is only one solution: We have to come back! Thank you for showing this place.

Loved this cache. Little Horrible found it. A bit disappointing to find the camera full.A great idea.Left red car. TFTC.
Found it! but the camera was full our car was too far away to run back and grab our camera.
Clues were fabulous, spent ages in the nearby park, what a lovely lovely place. Might call in here on the way north again to spend time. Elmo is still there and happy. Took keyring and left 3x small erasers. TFTC
We had a big laugh when we arrived here.We were camping next door, and took ourselves of on a Caching hunt around Sth Canterbury. But didn't realise untill we came back into town that we were staying right on it's door step.We left a Red Truck, hope Elmo dosn't take off. This has to be one of the nicest boxes we'v found for sometime .TFTC
This was a favourite with Mr. 7 as he has been an Elmo fan for many years and even had his giant Elmo along for the visit. We also enjoyed looking at the old buildings and had a nice elderly gentleman tell us all about the train. Thanks for taking us here.
I see red, I see red, I see red! Great cache found after completing Lucky #7 GC1521E as suggested. TFTC #1013
Well we really enjoyed this one - it was such a nice change from the boring old "chucked in a bush" type of cache we keep finding recently! Took photos with own camera as the one in the cache is full. Took the Bloody Good Drop TB and left a rechargeable red car torch. Will upload photos when we get home next week. TFTC
Quick one to pick up on way down south to timaru. Took photos with own camera and will down load soon and fire through.
Nice walk around the buildings before finding the cache.Camera full so could not take photo.TFTC

A nice big red cache, found with Yeetrees. Took some photos of Elmo with our own camera as well. Many thanks for bringing us here. Great spot for a cache, had a wander through the historic village afterwards.

Found this one with YuGeo4, what a nice little historical village, yes we saw the stream train as well, they were just cleaning it down before putting it back into storage for the day, found cache well hidden and Elmo was still safe and well, nice size cache and a real bright cache, thank goodness I had my sunglass on, COOL spot will be back for a better look around, TFTC TNLNSL (1217)
Parked in shade nearby, very hot. Even Elmo was looking very red hot and flustered. No photo as no flim left in camera. TFTC.
The big boys where out with there steam trains today, sadly they where not fired up while we where there, very impressive looking things.
The disposable camera is all used up so we where unable to use it, but we said hello to Elmo and took a picture of him with my own camera instead.
Cheers.

Had trouble finding initially but success was finally ours. Didn't have anything red to trade but took a photo of my helpers and Elmo. TFTC.
Too cold late in the afternoon to take Elmo for a walk, but keeping in the spirit of things, we used a red pen to sign the logbook. TFTC
Hard to reach big red box but a long arm secured cache. No pictures of Elmo as think camera empty. Great cache in a neat location. TFTC
Last stop on our way home from Twizel. Great to be in temperatures above zero!! Absolutely no one else around so found the area fascinating. Will have a more detailed look as we head south in October. Picked up John Deere TB. Must try to teach the dog to sniff out caches. Camera is finished so will upload one of our soon. TFTC
Great family cache - a pity I didn't have the kids with me as they would have loved it. Wouldn't mind having a look around the museum but sadly no time today as I was on a mission!
Many thanks
Many thanks
Dropped in to say hi to Elmo after we had lunch from local bakery (yum yum). Ate with nearby ducks. Great cache concept.#520, 2/9
What an interesting area - a treasure for the community indeed. As I got close to GZ I could see where something large and red it would be hidden and survice muggles - we have a similar hide for one of ours. Question was, which one? Got soggy knees until I saw it on my 6th try. Contents all bone dry and in ship shape - as you would expect. no swaps as I was travelling without the Jrs. TFTC!
A lovely and well-tended area around gz. Cache was soon found but it was a mite too wet to take Elmo for a photo today.
Elmo is a wonderful young gentleman! He did take two attempts to find, and two to replace, thanks to muggles, but in the meantime he had a fantastic evening out with two lovely young caching ladies. Living in a box in a hole as he does, I'm sure it made his week.
Elmo was spotted having a lovely meal at a nearby restaurant, and then taking in the sunset at the beautiful Lake Hood, before returning for a long sleep after such a lovely big night out.
Added a red notebook.

This cache was a great finish to a days travelling and caching. Elmo really made our day.
I will add photos of Elmo checking out the Menu and dining at a local restaurant, where the staff made quite a fuss of him !.
Left a little red glass bear in the cache to keep him company
Thanks for an innovative and fun cache

#570 (8/24 on a Waitangi Day excursion to Ashburton). Very quiet here today (in fact Ashburton seemed pretty sleepy all over). We took a photo of ourselves at arms length; probably won't end well. There are only 1 or 2 more shots on the film.

Wondered where you could hide a big red cache as approached GZ - soon apparent. TFTC.
Enjoyed meeting Elmo. Took his photo with his new glasses on. Left a red clip.TFTC
