After 17 years, it is time to let this one go. Happy memories attached to this cache but we are not up here as much as we used to be
DNFC this one is a mystery. Had a good look around & ended up in mud. River was beautiful & a good view of the bridge
A good 20min without finding it.. It looks like the place has been flooded recently, maybe the geocached has been moved by water ?
Found it. And we were lucky that it coincidentally happened at the right time to see the bridge lift up. 9:30am Tftc
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find today. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on our geo-guided tour.

Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, caching around where we travel. Touring around a few towns today and picking up caches along the way. 24 were found today, this cache was one of them.
Find #4473 on 21 Jul 2022.

Away for the weekend for some R & G..(Rest & Geocaching!). We are camped in Renmark to try and clear out the town and just do a bit of sight seeing. Today we headed out reasonably early...well okay..9.30ish... to tackle the majority of caches in and around the town. A nice quick find in a beautiful location. Gee that water level is rising...TFTC
We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
Out for a morning run. I dont think I took the conventional way to to get here. Once ay GZ it was a quick find
This was find number 3 for the day.

Day 2 of a few days in Renmark checking out the sights and collecting as many hides as I can with a totally uninterested other half.
Most caches were easily found, others not so and a few had gone AWOL. A few needed some maintenance by the owners. Those have had NM logs placed on them.
Thank you for the cache Rabbitto, Cold Freeze and Bazzars, found 6/04/2022, 11:37:30 AM

Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find. TFTC.
Wasn’t too sure about the access after recent rains but still managed to find. TFTC
I needed some exercise and wanted to explore this dot close to our temporary base. What better way to do it than to be guided by the local geo hiders. This was the first for the day.

Quick find while holidaying in the area. No cows but there was an awesome river view SLTFTC
A great spot to watch the world go by.
A great day was had driving around the Riverland grabbing caches along the way. Another weekend caching with hellyonfire and Tonka. TFTC

I have always been fond of bridges and these ones are very fascinating. When the traffic is stopped and the bridge span rises for the house-boats to pass through.
The trucks make a bit of a racquet passing over that span though [:o]. I'd live at least 1km from it [B)]
I thought with Border closure to VIC one would see or in this case 'hear' less trucks. Uh uh... freight never stops. Even in a potential Stage-5 lockdown [:o]
The cache was found and the 'moist' log was signed at 15:43 on Monday 10 August 2020.
{Added a plastic bag with Moisture-Munchers in to keep the log dry}

Our last find in the Paringa Paddock.. time to move on to greener pastures.. Didn't grab a pen today but snapped the log quickly.. TFTC
Found on a trip to the Riverland with FeatherWaite.
It was nice to be able to finally get out and about again for a few days of travelling, camping and caching. We were lucky with the weather, with mostly sunny days, relatively warm temperatures and no rain to speak of.
We targeted specific caches and areas and found a good selection of traditionals, multis, puzzles, letterboxes, a wherigo and an earthcache. Most of the containers and contents were in reasonable condition, although we did have to replace a few.
Surprisingly we didnt come across any many other people on our travels. Perhaps it was just a product of where we went, or maybe people are holding off for the June long weekend.
Thanks Rabbitto for the cache.

Staying in Remark for a few days and I am leaving tomorrow for Lake Bonny. So my last days mission while in Remark was to find some more of the caches in the area before leaving. This was a quick find on a cool morning. TFTC.
Big adventure with the grandkids and took the rough slide down the embankment only to find a better track closer to the bridge.
Thanks for a well placed cache, great views of the river, would be a good spot for fishing. Thanks again. TNLNSL Cheers.

4 sets of caching eyes searched near and far for this but no luck Out biking with Juju54
Unable to nab this cache today as the near by houseboat has a large party for Grand Final weekend.
So we had a fairly leisurely start to the day with breakfast on the water's edge watching the pelicans. Needed a bit of R&R to start the Saturday morning.
We then headed out for a great day of caching, gin tasting and beer drinking. We had a super picnic lunch in the paddock and ended the day with epic Greek food from the Greek Food Truck.
The weather was superb and I was thankful not to encounter any slithering snakes. We did see a few emus and sleepy lizards.
Husband had only brought cold weather clothes so we had to go shopping for shorts and tshirt for him!
Geohound had a huge day and was shattered by the time we got back to camp, little did he know that he would also be up all night with a possum tormenting him right outside the tent but that is a story for tomorrow.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the caching around Renmark a great variety of hides meant for an excellent day out.
We really enjoyed our drive around the paddock. We wondered whether all the new Australians we saw with 5 rods each in the water had the relevant permits, hmm not sure. This was a nice quick find here. That bridge is very noisy at night time when the trucks hurtle over it but it is a nice historic landmark. TFTC Rabbitto, Cold Freeze and Bazzars.

Headed to Renmark today with LLL51 as I haven't found many caches here and I wanted to remedy that. [^] Had a fun and successful day finding 23 with no DNF's.
We drove to this one before going around the paddock and hopefully finding all of those caches too. We had a great view of the bridge from here although we didn't time our visit to coincide with the bridge being raised.
The cache was a quick find before moving on to the next one. [^]
Thanks for the cache Rabbitto, Cold Freeze and Bazzars.
